With inflation continuing to drive up dining costs, AYCE options have become an increasingly popular and practical dining choice. The Sushi by Jin is a convenient and affordable option in the area for those craving variety of sushi without breaking the bank and long wait. Even though the restaurant is small and may look outdated, the atmosphere is casual and not too crowded. We came during weekdays lunch, service was good, and orders arrived quickly Menu here offerings a wide selection of rolls, nigiri, and appetizers, just like any typical AYCE sushi spots. While the quality doesn't quite compare to à la carte sushi spots, the rolls, nigiri sushi, and sashimi we had were all fresh and delicious, fish selection, texture, and freshness were all above average, definitely worth a try.

It was my first time trying this sushi place because I wanted some AYCE sushi. I think that the price and quality are pretty on par. The menu has a good amount of selections and I enjoyed all the fresh sushi pieces I tried! I went for dinner on a Saturday night and did not have to wait long for seating. The service was fairly quick and the workers were very attentive. I would definitely revisit if I wanted Ayce and am in the area!

Small AYCE restaurant - it'll do the job if you're craving, but service is very slow and rolls are served in full sizes so you get full faster (I prefer AYCE places that serve half rolls so you can taste test more rolls). The salmon & bluefin toro sashimi were the stars of the show -- doesn't melt in your mouth but still got a nice fatty bite. Pink Lady was the best roll -- I really enjoyed the cold big bite of salmon & imitation crab. The crispy rice & spicy tuna was alright -- rice wasn't the crispiest but the avo and spicy tuna on top are still yum. Overall, probably wouldn't come back because the service was too slow (and forgot my miso soup both rounds...sad). Food was alright tho, would consider doing a la carte for the sushi fix.

Baseball and sushi. Our players were so excited to go have sushi today!! As soon as we sat down they knew they wanted spicy rolls, chicken teriyaki, edamame, shrimp, etc. Our patient and kind server was awesome as we chose All You Can Eat and we went 3 rounds of hand rolls, scallops, eel, salmon, tuna, and shrimp. The chefs were amazing and the kids were full in the end, except for the free ice cream. Thank you Sushi by Jin. Our lunch was delicious.

I'm fairly new to the sushi game. I've only been eating sushi for a couple years, but out of all the places I've been to in the Bay Area, Maui, and SoCal, this is probably my favorite. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the service was top notch. Definitely coming back.

First time and decided to do ayce regular lunch for $29.99 per person. I figured 2 rolls would be the equivalent of $30 so I went for the ayce in order to try a variety of things for the same price. The bill came out to about $80 for 2 people including a 20% tip and one coke. You get 80 minutes and 3 rounds. There is a premium ayce for about $38 with more choices. We got to try a variety of things from miso soup to salad, sushi, no rice rolls, and speciality rolls. They also served us something crispy with fish and sauce on top on the house so that was nice. We also requested thin lemon slices to eat with sushi (it is a game changer to add a thin slice of lemon on sushi and eat it!). We ended the meal with green tea ice cream. All in all we did enjoy our food and if I was in the area I wouldn't mind coming back. 4.4 stars!

This was my second visit and it was the best value for money. I'm so sorry that I only ate sushi, but thank you so much for making it so quickly and deliciously. The servers are also very friendly and fast, so I praise them. Whenever I feel like sushi, I just go here. The sushi is reasonably big and easy to eat. Most All You Can sushi restaurants look pretty and are made very small. Most sushi restaurants look good but have nothing to eat.

    My fingers for size comparison.

Came on a weeknight after 5pm. Service was excellent by the two waitresses, the chef staff behind the counter were polite and attentive. I got all you can eat for 50+tip. The place is spacious and accommodating. I can order a pretty good amount, 3 4 piece rolls, about 5 orders of sashimi style (2 pieces each order) tried all their fish, the mackerel really stood out. Did three identical rounds, not a single roll was bad. And their fish to rice ratio was amazing. Definitely a place anyone with a big appetite for good sushi should try.

A HIDDEN SUSHI GEM IN FULLERTON I came in around lunch time and got seated immediately! The server was so accommodating and recommended her favorite dishes from the AYCE menu! The sushi chef also gave us a crispy rice on the house The interior was very spacious and loved the dark-ish ambiance. It really set the mood and I was able to enjoy my meal~ Despite it being AYCE, you could taste the HIGH QUALITY selections of the fish from each plate. Every single sashimi MELTED in my mouth! If you're in the area or even looking for a new sushi spot to try, I highly recommend checking SUSHI BY JIN IN FULLERTON!

Cannot speak to the actual location as I ordered Ubereats, but the food was nice and tasty and well portioned. I ordered three rolls and I was pleasantly surprised to see a small green salad included with the order. My only wish was that the rolls included some kind of cucumber as a crunchy element. Two of my rolls were California and spicy tuna inside so I thought there would be cucumber but it was pure crab and tuna. Will definitely eat here again!

Food was good and place was clean. I just think on the day we went it was busier than usual so the server was struggling on her own.

The fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors was done incredibly well, every dish felt intentional, fresh, and packed with flavor. The sushi was some of the freshest I've had in a long time, and the Nikkei-inspired dishes really stood out with unique flavor combinations that somehow worked perfectly together. You can tell the chefs genuinely care about quality and presentation. Service was top tier too. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations without making us feel rushed. Everything came out beautifully plated and timed perfectly. This is the kind of restaurant you leave already planning your next visit. Easily one of my favorite dining experiences recently. Highly recommend for date night, celebrations, or honestly anyone who appreciates creative food done right.

So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!

First walking in, there was no one at the register to greet or help us. We ended up standing around for at least 10 minutes until we were tended to. Looked like there was only 1 server who was also bussing and hosting, 2 chefs, and a mostly empty restaurant.. The chefs saw us and made no effort to let anyone know that we had been waiting to be seated.. We were just about to leave to another spot until the server noticed us, and now I REALLY WISH we had left. The eel we ordered was old and hard as a rock. All the uni nigiri was an odd, dark color.. Once I tried their sushi for the first time, they quickly became one of my favorites in OC. They fly their fish in every Friday and you can literally taste the freshness. Over the times I've visited, I've tried basically the whole menu but a couple in particular are my favorites. I always start off with the Blue crab appetizer that's wrapped with salmon on the outside and asparagus. Their sushi rolls are all solid here--I can't recommend the signature Chubby roll enough. And if you're feeling adventurous, they even have Tuna bone marrow shots which are actually such a nice palate cleanser! And, of course, the star of the show is the Chubby sashimi platter. Each piece is thiccc and melts in your mouth and even comes with sweet shrimp and uni. This spot is genuinely a 10/10, so if you haven't tried it, like I said, you're definitely missing out!
