Craving all-you-can-eat sushi or hot food in the morning or late night? Sushi Ozen is open 11am-2am, 7 days a week!! Super convenient--located near Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland. Huge variety from sushi & rolls to skewers and hot food Highly recommend: * Baked mussels * Salmon collar * Chicken skewers * Cajun salmon sushi * Salmon egg sushi IG: socalhkfoodies

Hidden junk fee "pos providers fee"

This was hands down the worst dining experience ever. The food quality, service, and management were all abysmal. First, I found a dead fly stuck to my tuna sushi. When I complained, the male server didn't even apologize. Instead, he used his own chopsticks to pick up the contaminated sushi, replaced it with a single piece, and walked away without saying a word. The food itself is a scam. The "$15 Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen" is nothing more than a $2 instant noodle pack from a Korean grocery store with pieces of chashu thrown on top. The salmon belly sushi was spoiled; I had to spit it out immediately. Since eating here, I have had to use the bathroom four times in just three hours. To make matters worse, I requested the bill before we even finished our first round of All-You-Can-Eat. I noticed a "POS Provider Fee" added to the total. There was zero mention of this hidden fee on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant. Does management not know that charging undisclosed hidden fees is illegal? When I questioned it, they said they would waive the fee only if I paid in CASH. I hope they aren't trying to play games with Uncle Sam. Please check your bills carefully. This place is unsanitary, unprofessional, and deceptive. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR HEALTH.

Can't believe I just recently found out about an AYCE sushi spot that stays open this late! If you're a night owl and like to avoid the main dinner crowds, this is definitely a spot for you to check out. We got here around 10, and there was still a pretty good amount of customers in the restaurant. The server was nice and attentive, and the food came out pretty quick. The nigiri was really fresh, and I really liked their spicy tuna. Definitely a good option for a late night big meal that doesn't feel super heavy. There's a good amount of seating, both inside and in an outdoor patio, and there is a sizeable parking lot in the back as well. I'll definitely be back here whenever I have some late night sushi cravings!

Me and my friend did the Ayce sushi and it was SOO GOODD, service was amazing and for a sushi shop that opens till 2am I say everything was as a good as it could be!!!

My fiance and I came for dinner tonight. Overall, the experience was fine. I would describe it as unremarkable. We got the premium menu which was $47.99 a person. We tried a bunch of different items on the menu and most of which was good! However, there were a few things that were subpar: - Rice itself was dry. - a couple items we ordered never came out - it took a while for our server to check on us That being said, there were some positives! - Miso soup was warm and very tasty - Tempura was crispy and lightly fried! Very nice - restaurant was clean, albeit untidy with boxes and various inventory on the floor. Long story short, we probably won't come back. For $116, this dinner was not worth it in terms of quality of food or service. 5/10 Nothing special.

With a wide variety of high-quality rolls, nigiri, sashimi, appetizers, and more, there's something for everyone with the AYCE option. Their nigiri had an ideal fish-to-rice ratio so we could enjoy all their sushi without feeling too full. A great place to bring your friends and family or for a quick bite with non-ayce menu options. They're also open until 2 am for late-night sushi cravings!

I'd say I come to Ozen at least twice a month and have never had a bad experience. Their service is great, they are constantly checking on how we're doing and if we need anything else. The food is amazing, we will always get the all you can eat option. Our favorites are seared salmon, salmon, & baked mussels but as you can see from the photos everything is delicious! I think their rice to sushi ratio is great!

Fees!

I don't like to review because I know I have high standards, but extra fees?!? When we paid cash!?! And didn't use any type of POS ourself to order food or reserve a table. No! Foods was alright, service, meh. I think they're short staff. Yes, we ate with our eyes! I don't want to hear it.

Decent AYCE sushi deal in South OC, can be a wait up to 45 minutes during weekend, since they offer such a great price here for the amount of food that you get. Service is fast once your party got seated. The rice to fish ratio is good. Overall I enjoyed the experiences and the sashimi quality; however, some pieces of tuna was not that fresh.

We put the hurt on 3 rounds of AYCE sushi last night. I think I could have eaten more. Everything was so good! Service was wonderful. I love the new renovations. I will say it's better to eat here than have anything delivered. I have had a few bad experiences with delivery or take out orders being fresh or having acceptable food quality. I only live a few minutes away too.

There was only one server and what it appeared to be one person in the kitchen. I ordered: - Combo A (Chicken Teriyaki with a choice of Gyoza or Cali Roll): I replaced the rice with extra salad. The salad came with a neon pink dressing that was a bit sweet. The salad wasn't properly dried, unfortunately, as there was a pool of water at the bottom. Though some pieces of the chicken was a bit dry, the bed of cabbage underneath soaked up some of the juices and glaze, compensating for the lack of moisture. The Cali Roll was packed and a solid side to the meal. - Rainbow Roll: Though it had large cuts of fish, it unfortunately was not the freshest I've tasted, and also not very tightly rolled. - Crunch Philadelphia Roll: Though not as tightly rolled (it fell apart slightly when I tried picking up a piece), I appreciate that they didn't skimp on the cream cheese. My favorite sushi so far from the 3. The food was prepared quickly, and everything totaled about $42-45, which I thought was reasonable. They have a few minor things to improve upon, but I can see this being a place college students can get food to-go between classes or even shopping patrons dining at for a decent meal.

So many menus....appetizers, entrée, sushi, specialty rolls, sake list, and a lot more.... We had our fave menu all the time, got the same ones, 2 dragon rolls and 1 super Philly roll w hot Sake. We both said so good. The rice was perfect. Eel sauce was flavorful, thick, chunky, well balanced w fresh salmon and cream cheese. They gave us complementary corn soup in the beginning. Delicious! I got used to start miso soup first but typically corn soup is popular in Korea to give good appetite. The service was super fast, friendly. Price and quality both are great. I didn't know they had happy hour all day. We got 50% off for the 2nd roll. I didn't see any Japanese, korean staff including manager here. Seemed like korean ownership but no one was korean. Haha... We found a great sushi place again near our home. Definitely come again... My wife said, I wanted to try ice cream macarons but I was full. When I asked the staff about it, the chef said it's because the pieces given are the same as 3 which was a bit weird since the pieces didn't look that big compared to the photos on Yelp. This dish also comes with a salad. Chicken katsu curry- I ordered it medium, but honestly the curry is on the sweeter side with no heat at all. You also get raisins which makes the curry even sweeter. For $26, it's not a good price point for this type of dish. You can get this dish for much cheaper at other establishments. I would pass on this dish. Staff was nice and interior is clean and a bit cramped. My meal was over $100 for the 3 items which I normally wouldn't mind if the quality offsets portions given. Be prepared to spend lots if you want to get full! Also, keep in mind they charge an NCA fee if you don't pay cash. This place is a solid 3.5 for me.

I know that many other fellow Yelp members complain that this location is rather small but honestly, if they want to see a small Mitsuwa Market, they should visit the one in San Gabriel. That one is very small and has no food court. Anyways, my husband and I decided to visit this Mitsuwa Marketplace two Saturdays ago since we were out in Orange County. We wanted to pick up some groceries before heading back home to the San Gabriel Valley since this was kind of on the way home. In general, Mitsuwa typically seems to be more expensive than Tokyo Central (the Japanese market I frequent most often back home), often times $1-4 more for items. But that doesn't really bother me, as Mitsuwa sometimes will have different or more selection than Tokyo Central for certain items as well. I like to shop at both markets equally. We ended up purchasing a few items. After we finished paying for those groceries, we walked over to the food court to see what eateries and vendors are available. We ended up getting some onigiri at Omusubi Gonbei and decided to enjoy our rice balls here since there is such a large space of seating. Grilled Eel, $3.60 prior to tax- My husband and I split this one. I really liked the eel and also the sauce that was used on top of the eel. My husband also really liked this one. Fried Oyster, $3.60 prior to tax- I decided to order this one but it was topped with a spicy mayonnaise that I thought was a little too spicy for me (again, I am not a spicy eater). The nori is very soft and chewy. It's not separated from the warm gohan itself. So if you're accustomed to onigiri with crisp nori, you will be disappointed. Depending on which kind of omusubi you're getting, I also agree that it may definitely feel like there's a lot more rice than the filling. I usually get the mentaiko, ebiten, and oyster musubis. I feel as though those are actually consistently good. The saltiness of the fillings really offsets the amount of rice included and makes it work. My other favorite flavors are takana and shiso. The two goes perfectly well with the karaage they sell separately. Another thing is that the rice itself is actually seasoned and not plain, which helps. Chashu and other fillings like eel has been a miss at this location. Same with their tuna and salmon offerings. I must admit I'm especially not a huge fan of their tuna offerings. It uses too much katsuobushi flavor in my opinion. I like mine more mayo forward. The service here can be a hit or a miss. It really depends on who is working there and what time/day of the week it is. Same goes with the availability of seatings. Parking is free but can be a hassle to find a close spot because of the proximity to the gym, superchargers, and other businesses.
