Service is awesome possum, and I like how you're in their system once you order to-go and provide your phone number. This is my favorite sushi spot hands down because nothing beats the flavors, and I love how they give you spicy mayo on the side to dip it in. If I could eat this every week at least once, I would. Over all ok experience, we arrived on a Thursday evening around 5:45 and there was no wait for a party of 6 plus a baby. Service could be better, we weren't offered a high chair and I actually went and got one myself. We had to ask for refills and the waitress didn't really check on us after our order was brought out. Sushi was also okay... the best thing I ordered was the salmon belly nigiri. My husband and I usually like to order a variety if AYCE isn't offered and honestly for the price I would have rather gone to one of our favorite AYCE spots. This is slightly better than your everyday good sushi spot. Not amazing in terms of quality, but still tastes good and they offer $2 nigiri which is a plus. Service is friendly but not super attentive, idk maybe cause I went on a slow Monday night. Might give 4 stars if they had drink specials. Maybe in future. Let's see. First, I want to preface this by saying I am a regular here and this has been one of my favorite sushi joints. Chef Alex is amazing and we frequent here and I make sure to bring them business because I didn't want them going under in this economy. Now, fast forward to today when I walk in and was cornered by who I assume is the owner. She basically tells me that I have a balance and that the last time I was there SHE gave me the wrong bill so I owe them the balance. The last time I was there was the 13th with my sister. She treated me to lunch that day but we were in a rush. So fast forward, she brings me the bill for today's lunch and then the bill from the 13th. Which pretty much has notes all over in Korean and basically states that we only paid $33.41 - excluding the tip my sister paid and that I owed $32.32. I spoke with her about how hey, like I don't think you should have done it this way because she made me feel like we dine and dashed and that she kept the receipt to show proof. She admitted that SHE gave us the wrong check. She doubled down and said that we should have looked at it and known it was the wrong check. I usually do look at the bill but like I mentioned before, we were in a rush and we ate, paid, and left to go pick up kids. I understand things happen but I don't feel like this was the right way to approach this situation. It was YOUR bad and you are holding me accountable weeks later? Safe to say, I paid the bill because I ain't no thief like she made me feel like and I'm sad to say that I won't be going back. read more

First timing dining here and it was decently packed for a Saturday late night! We got the 10pc + 1/2 udon combo and two item bento box. All the foods were good and the prices were pretty good! My spicy bowl ramen was a VERY large bowl which I didnt finish and had to bring more than half of it to go, my husband was happy with his bento box and my daughter with her udon as well. The slices were so thick and tender!! The salmon was like butter. The chicken cutlet was large and it filled me up. Together, they satisfied me greatly. My friend got the 2 combo with the tempura variety which had a huge onion and broccoli! I thought it was a unique choice. For drinks, I got a midori sour for the first time and it tasted like a soda so I wish they went a bit heavier on the liquor but it was only $8. Usually, when I go to a restaurant, the owner tends to provide better service than the staff -- but here, it was the complete opposite. The male and female staff members were incredibly professional and attentive, much more so than the owner, who was wearing a cap and had her hair down behind her shoulders. If the owner happens to read this, I truly think those two staff members deserve a bonus or a raise! I visited on July 9th around 6 PM and ordered the Boat Set. When we first sat down, the waitress/hostess immediately said 'do you know what you want?' before we even had our menus. We had a shrimp tempura roll, octopus sushi, the burrito, one of the rice-less rolls wrapped in cucumber, and the spicy garlic butter edamame. The edamame was the best part; also, please note, it's $8 because the portion is huge. Nothing was BAD but everything tasted old. My cucumber roll had a fishy taste but I couldn't identify which tuna was putting out the weirder taste. The burrito roll was huge, but poorly wrapped, so I couldn't hold or eat it. My boyfriend's octopus wasn't chewy, but he said it tasted a little day old, almost dry. The shrimp tempura roll had stale tempura flakes. Nothing was horrible, but nothing was great. This place has really grown on me. The past few times the fish has been fresh and they have upgraded their lunch deals. The last time I went I orderd 2 salmon hand rolls off the lunch special menu the total came to $8 definitely a steal. On a rainy day, we went venturing to find a Barnes and Noble and discovered this restaurant right next door advertising specials on sushi. Of course we went inside to check it out. There were only one other couple dining in while we were there. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was cool, complete with a bar area with comfortable seating. Our server was so sweet and we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. The chef was great, even sent us a complimentary plate of sushi to try (amazing!)
