The ice cream is good but the portion is small. You could go to Costco and get the Afters pack of 10 ice cream bars for less than $20. The service was quick; not that I needed it, but I was not offered any samples, which is something other customers were offered based on the reviews. My kids love Afters! They have a great variety of different flavors but the Cookie Monster is one of my favorites. This was my first time at this location and the service was exceptional! The guys in there were beyond friendly and helpful and super chill. It's busy because it's down the street from the colleges but if you get a chance to go here definitely go. read more

The inside doesn't have any chairs to sit on so everything is order to go. I sampled this one as well as the Jasmine Tea flavor which is nice and subtle. The staff was kind to let us sample multiple flavors. The brownie flavor was really good when I sampled but as a whole cup it was heavy on sweetness and flavor. This has to be one of my favorite ice cream spots in Fullerton! It is conveniently close to my house and has unique flavors compared to other ice cream places. Although each scoop is quite expensive, it's still worth every penny. My go-to ice cream flavors here are Cookie Butter, Mango Sorbet, Cereal, and Milk & Cereal. I go ahead and top it with mochi and sprinkles. It does get busy here a lot, but the service is always stellar. I coincidentally go when Braulio is working. I haven't had Afters in years! I remember when this was soooo big when I was in high school and college and I remember it being pretty good. My friend and I decided to give them a try since my friend never had Afters before. We ordered a 3 scoop to share and chose milk & cereal (my all-time fave), jasmine milk tea, and Vietnamese coffee. Ugh, I love milk & cereal! It was and still is my favorite flavor. I love that it comes with a free topping too. We chose the Afters Flakes, which the worker described as corn flakes lightly coated in butter. Jasmine milk tea and Vietnamese coffee also slaps! Super fragrant and creamy - I love that their ice cream really embodies the flavors instead of it being just a hint of flavor, you know? Been coming here for five years, but the service this evening was extremely disheartening. Upon entering, a man employed at Afters, who later claimed to be a manager, looked like he was twitching and zoning out. He was having trouble taking our orders. Someone in my group asked for a sample, and he asked, "Are you gonna order?" This felt disrespectful as no other group was asked this. I was the first to order, and I ordered my regular order, a Cookie Monster Milky Bun with Fruity Pebbles. Everyone received their ice cream when we paid, except me. My brother in law saw a credit card in the reader and asked the employee if he wanted it or knew where it was and the employee responded "idk this is all a clusterf*ck. I had to ask where it was and he told me "it's being made right now" and then proceeded to just start making it in front of me. There was no full scoop of ice cream, and the bun itself was cold and unglazed. It tasted like I was eating a white bread ice cream sandwich. I had my brother in law go in for a refund the manager gave him two scoops and my brother in law asked for fruity pebbles like the bun, the worker swindled my brother in law saying he has to pay for "it" then paying for more ice cream to replace it by offering a single scoop and if we wanted toppings we would have to pay. He overcharged us and made us pay for the double scoop and toppings. When we went back to try and understand why we cannot get a refund on at least one of the orders, because the milky bun was taken back, he then told us it is our fault because we didn't want it, when in actuality the employee made my brother in law throw it away to hold the new order. It then became extremely chaotic. He became defensive and aggressive with his words, repeating that they do not do refunds and make it that way every time. He was raising his voice at my sister in law and brother-in-law to the point where you can hear it from outside the restaurant and in front of an entire room of patrons. He eventually made a new one, claiming he made it identically, but the new one had ice cream coming out of the sides, was hot, and glazed. I write this review with 2 Stars and not 1 due to the positive experiences I have had in the past. However, I am incredibly concerned with how this young man, who also claimed to be the manager, treats patrons and allows patrons or off-duty workers to walk in and out of the back. He seems to be under the influence of something and keeps entering and exiting the store. I hope nothing like this happens to other patrons in the future, as the hostility came from the employee and not the patron. (I thought about taking a picture of the initial sandwich but assumed that it would not be a hassle to get a refund when it wasn't even bitten yet) read more

I was at this Fullerton location a few days ago. I was allowed to try a few samples which was nice of the employees. Cookie butter was the best flavor but I will come back to try more. I was assisted by a young man who I felt bad for because before me a woman and a man kept entering and exiting the store back and forth. They were yelling and harassing him over items. I used to frequent their original location in Fountain Valley all of the time when they first opened during my college days. There was always a long line out the door, but I still went almost every other day because I was obsessed. I ate 2-3 scoops each visit and had eventually to take a break for awhile due to health reasons. Nonetheless, many years later, I am SO thrilled to find out that they opened a location in Fullerton! We came here yesterday with our group. We got to sample a few flavors and eventually each got a single scoop of their ice cream. The flavors here are very unique and have remained consistent over the years. Personal favorites are: + Cookie Monster - loaded with SO much cookies, but beware it will leave your tongue will a blue residue! + Milk & Cereal - simple yet delicious. It's not overly sweet and it really tastes like milk & cereal but in ice cream form! + Vietnamese Coffee - if you love Cafe Sua Da, this is the EXACT same but in ice cream. It's super rich. + Jasmine Milk Tea - JMT has been my goto milk tea to get at a lot of boba spots. Afters did an an amazing job replicating that in ice cream form. They will add extra corn flakes to your milk & cereal ice cream if you ask for it. I believe it's complementary. I have gotten their donut ice cream before, but I don't recommend it. The ice cream melts fast and the additional sugar takes away the taste of the ice cream. You're better off with getting several scoops in a cup or cone! Overall experience here is great.
