Heads up, the parking lot is brutal and shared for 2 businesses. Carpool as much as possible during peak times! Came here for my friend's birthday with a party of 7 and had a great time. Apparently this is THE spot for birthdays. They bump the speakers and serve a huge sparkler with the complimentary ice cream, I think every 15 minutes we heard it go off during our time here lol. Good vibes. It's a bit on the pricier side (what isn't nowadays ) but they make up for it with a strong selection. We got the premium ayce menu which is about $55 per person. Some highlights: Scallop (premium menu only) - at first I was a bit skeptical but this is a must try if you like scallops. Juicy and well marinated - delicious and smoky after cooking. The rib and new york strip are also well-sized and very satisfying to eat. Classic staples like beef belly and tongue are solid too. Service was excellent - everyone was very friendly and attentive. Overall, highly recommend

Great experience and service thanks to Kaipo our server! The wait time was exceptionally long at over 2 hours when checking in at 5 pm on a Saturday. Luckily, our party of 7 utilized the time to catch up and play games as we waited. Since the waitlist is attached to Yelp, you can frequently check your status via the text link or through the app. Once we seated, we ordered immediately. Service was fast, the grill was efficient, and we ran into no issues once we got down to cooking. Kaipo took great care of us, memorized our orders accurately, brought us all the things we needed, and was very kind. We loved getting to know our server, as this made the experience very memorable and personal. Our favorite meats to order were the beef belly and rib fingers. Other notable picks included brisket and fresh pork belly (thick cut pork belly). Steamed egg was also included which was amazing!! Spicy sauce and sesame oil upon request. During our visit, we celebrated a birthday as well. LED sign, sparkler candle, and ice cream was brought out accompanying a song choice/artist that we liked. This was a special birthday and very celebratory. Only downside to this restaurant is parking can be tough. The lot is small and they share it with another small dessert spot that reserves 3 spots, in addition to take out and check in parking reserved spots as well. Leaving only the back area and one row in the front, you may need to wait around to park or get dropped off. Dinner price currently is $43.99 and premium dinner is $54.99. No drinks included.

    so many sides!!

we had a great experience today at Mr. BBQ! we came right at 11 so we didn't have to wait any time to be seated. As soon as we sat down, they brought out so many sides, we were surprised, and all of them were delicious. It is premium AYCE, i highly recommend the woobaesal! Cherry on top was our waiter, Weston, who was so attentive and friendly. We had amazing time!

Mr. BBQ is one of those spots that always seems to have a wait, but for good reason. Pro tip: join the waitlist before heading over, but you have to be within 5 miles for it to work. Definitely helps because this place stays packed. There's a decent-sized parking lot, but parking can still be tough just because it's always busy. Inside is huge though, with plenty of tables and enough space to handle larger groups, which is probably why you see so many birthday dinners here. If you've been, you already know the candle/firework birthday presentation always gets the whole room's attention. They have several menu options too, including kids, lunch, dinner, and premium, so there's something for everyone depending on how hungry you are and what you're in the mood for. Service really stood out this visit. Aaron was on it the whole time--super attentive, kept the meats coming, stayed on top of refilling sides, and made sure drinks never sat empty. The selection here is one of the reasons people keep coming back. There's a huge variety of meats and seafood, and I like that you can mix it up with things like shrimp, squid, and scallops instead of doing the same usual BBQ lineup the whole meal. Overall, Mr. BBQ is loud, busy, and always in demand, but that's kind of part of the experience. Great for group dinners, celebrations, and anytime you're ready to commit to a full-on feast.

They have pretty crazy wait times and lines. Came to eat here at 7pm on a Friday night, my friend waitlisted us at 5pm. Honestly would not have ate here if I had to wait here for so long. Could be very loud at the times especially if people have birthdays and it could get hard to hear each other. They have different price menus, with the more expensive menus including extra items. We really loved the beef brisket and ordered a lot of servings of those, but all menus included the classic cuts of meat such as brisket, bulgolgi, pork belly etc. They also have a good selection of seafood such as squid and shrimp. Waiter was attentive with refills on orders and changing grill. And they serve dessert at the end!

One of my favorite KBBQ spots! I've definitely been here way too many times to count... oops. I just never got around to writing a review. I love the quality of the meat, and I never feel sick after eating here, which has happened to me at other KBBQ places. There was a point when I was coming here almost once a week because a friend kept inviting me out, but didn't have a go-to KBBQ spot as a lot of them weren't from the area...so of course I recommended this place! Wait times can get pretty long in the evenings. I've seen them go over 2.5 hours. That said, the waitlist system makes it much easier to manage. I've personally never had an issue since I usually arrive early and only wait for a table to be set. If you don't want to wait too long, try going just before 4 or 5 PM, or if you come closer towards closing, the wait has been super short. With inflation, the price has definitely gone up since my first visit, but the meat quality is still great, so I don't mind too much. The servers are always super polite and very efficient. Depending on who you get, you might have to flag someone down occasionally, but overall, the food comes out quickly. Sometimes the servers even give great sauce recommendations, especially if they hear it's your first time. Also, one year I came with a friend for a birthday celebration, and they really know how to make it fun. My friend and the server were totally on the same wavelength... it was definitely a little embarrassing for me, but we all had a good laugh afterward!

Great AYCE bbq, $30 per adult on a weekday lunch! Came with great variety of sides, cuts, soups, and noodles. Service was also outstanding and our waiter anticipated our every need. Wait was about 40 min on a weekday 2 PM, but well worth the wait for a local reliable AYCE kbbq spot.

Do not let the LONG wait times deter you from trying this place. That just shows this place is worth the wait. The price and quality is great but the service is TOP TIER. The number of banchans you get is also something to be highlighted. Do not go here if you're trying to have a nice conversation. The music is blaring so it feels like you're at a Korean bbq club. Which is a good thing.

I've only been here twice, but I do agree that the wait times can be quite long. They use a Yelp waitlist that you can only join if you're within five miles of the restaurant. I came for an early-ish dinner on New Year's Eve and still waited about half an hour even after joining the waitlist. It seemed like they may have been short-staffed that day, so the wait was understandable. That said, the service is very good--the waiters are friendly and attentive, and the meats and side dishes are solid. Overall, the biggest drawback for me is really just the long wait time.

Liver and stuff. This is like round 5 of meats aha

This is the type of KBBQ spot that I can call my go-to spot if I lived in the area but I don't. Can't wait to come back tho! Vibes were there and music was poppin. Got me singing and dancing feeling like it was the Bay Area as I cooked some meats. Talk about burning and eating my calories! Simon aka Diamond (cuz I misheard him in the beginning ) was very attentive and always checking on us. Helped us get through our grill changes quickly and was able to continue our meat feast. Nonstop service = nonstop eating. Birthday celebration was fun to watch and got hyped for the people. Cocktails were good especially the slushies. Pretty damn strong if you ask me but worth it. Got me feeling the drunchies and kept eating! Meat selection is great, enjoyed almost all of it! Can't remember each one we ordered but 10/10. Loved the ox intestine a lot. Loved that they had liver as well Although Kimchi stew was not a hit from our group since it was heavily overpowered by tomato? That's about the only thing that threw us off. For the price, it is worth it.

Mr. BBQ in Fullerton is hands down some of the best KBBQ I've had. Every cut we tried was great, but the beef belly was our favorite, very flavorful and perfectly cooked. We came to celebrate my uncle's birthday, and they made it such a fun experience. The vibes in here were great. When dessert came out, they even took song requests while bringing out the ice cream. We, of course, had to play In The Club by 50 Cent Thank god for Weston, our server. He was very attentive and on top of everything. We love rice paper and I'm pretty sure he picked up on that immediately. At a certain point, we didn't even have to ask anymore. He just kept bringing it out bc he knew what was up ‍ Pls give this man a raise ahahah Will definitely be back another time!

I will even go out of my way to say that he set the standard for how all servers should be in the industry. Most servers these days are doing the bare minimum and won't even bring napkins unless you beg for them. On another note, food was good and consistent.
