This is my first time coming here. Every once in awhile, I'll crave korean food (Being korean myself). I was sad when the local Korean restaurant closed down, but saw that this little restaurant opened up and I was excited. I finally got to try it out. I ordered the OG Kimbap, Spicy korean rice cakes, and the Bimbim Bowl to go. The person taking the order was very patient and explained the different dishes available. While I waited for my food, I tried their complimentary anchovie soup. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was very flavorful and I wanted to take a bowl home with me. My food came out in about 10 minutes, which was nice and quick. The size of the bowls the food is in doesn't seem large, however, there's a lot of food in it when you start to eat it. read more

They have anchovy soup for you along with a simple menu that looks and tastes pretty delicious. They got good portions and ample parking in the shared lot. A little walk doesn't hurt if the closest ones are full. It's a chill environment inside with some Korean music playing. Highly recommend this place. Cute little shop near CSUF. We got the gimbap, the spicy pork bowl, chicken katsu curry, and ttaekboki. Try them out. The bulgogi in the gimbap was a little dry for me but good nonetheless. Will try their other gimbap next time. Glad I finally got to try this place out. I liked it a lot and will definitely be back. When you enter, you can order at the register or use the little kiosk they have by the side. I used the kiosk and it was really easy to navigate and use. I got the OG Kimbap, spam and egg kimbap, gogoma (sweet potato), and the bibim bowl. The kimbaps were pretty good. Nice and fresh and very flavorful. I really liked the bibim bowl. Thought the price was a bit high, but it is actually quite a lot of food and worth the price, imo. They give you a lot of protein and it was really tasty when you mix all of the ingredients together. My coworkers also all liked all of the food. Pretty small and simple menu, but i would like to come back and try some of the other kimbaps and maybe even the new ramen I saw on the menu. read more

Excited for this place to grand open and to have a Korean bunsik restaurant in the area!! Giving this place 5/5 for the service, set up, and straight forward menu that is reasonably priced. The food was a little on the lighter side flavor wise but still solid and fills the Korean cravings. I got the OG kimbap, the spicy anchovy kimbap, katsu bowl with non spicy curry, the sweet and spicy pork bowl, and ddukbokki. I would say my favorite item was the spicy anchovy kimbap- really good flavor, jam packed with filling and minimal rice (which is the way I like it). Our boys enjoyed the katsu. It was a perfect amount of food and crispy. Big bonus was the free anchovy soup with self serve green onions. I shamelessly had three cups of it while I waited for our food that was cooked fresh. The service was really great. They were welcoming and answered questions cheerfully. They also shared some information that was good to know such as they plan to grand open at the end of the month with a larger menu but that the soft opening menu would likely be the staple menu items moving forward. They also pointed out the convenience store that they were planning to have open to the side of the counter when they grand open. I thought the concept was really cute. Tried GoGo Ma and got the chicken katsu bowl, fried dumplings, roasted Korean sweet potato, and kimbap. Chicken katsu was the best thing I ordered 10/10. Super crispy, good flavor, and the grilled onions in the bowl made it even better. Fried dumplings were also 10/10. Crispy and really flavorful. Roasted Korean sweet potato was another 10/10. Soft, naturally sweet, and the miso honey butter on the side made it even better. Kimbap was my least favorite. It wasn't bad and still had flavor, just not something I'd order again 6.5/10. Overall really good spot. I'd come back for the katsu and dumplings for sure. read more

It's currently a soft opening here, and we wanted to check it out and see how this new local Korean restaurant was with my family. We ordered from the Kiosk of a spicy anchovy kimbap, the katsu bowl, a bibimbap, and a topokki. We were all very impressed! The interior and food were all very clean and well organized. The kimbap had a bit of a kick which was delicious. The topokki has different kinds of rice cakes which makes it more fun, and I was surprised to see that it came with an egg and some dumplings as well. The katsu bowl comes with a side of curry, and the meat is super tender and juicy. The bibimbap has a lot it meat and veggies. It's all at a great price point. On the side, you have a self serve area with w broth you can enjoy with some green onions and pepper. We're happy to have this new gem in the area! read more

Craving a quick snack and stumbled across this spot on yelp! A variety of Kimbas say lesss :) The menu is still limited since they're in their soft opening phase, but they already have a solid menu. You can order at the kiosk with photos (which I loved because I'm a visual eater) or go straight to the counter. I chose the kiosk so I could browse all the pics first. One of those fabulous finds when out driving around. We loaded up that evening with OG gimbap, mandu, beef bibim bowl and katsu bowl. Wow!! ​Yes we were hungry. The taste profile is excellent. Wasn't too strong , like some Korean dishes can be , nor was it weak. Like to taste the individual ingredients in the preparations and they succeed here. One of the nicest balanced Bibim bowls we've had. Same f9r the other items we enjoyed. The anchovy broth excellent. Granted anchovies are a bit strong yet this broth is so mellow on the palate one can easily chug this down. The crew here is friendly and happy which makes it a joy to come in. I was so bummed when the closest Korean market to me closed down months ago which hampered my access to those delicious korean rolls that my kids love to snack on. YUMMM! My husband and I were wanting to try something other than our usual food spots and came across this place on yelp. And I'm SO glad we did. I was super impressed! We got the OG Kimbap, Spam and Egg Kimbap, Sweet potato with Miso honey butter (omg drooool) and also tried it with kimchi (also so good), Katsu bowl with curry sauce, and Spicy Pork bowl. Yes, lots of food but we can eat! I'm telling you, everything we tried was excellent! The flavors were so delicious and everything tasted fresh. The katsu was super crispy and the curry sauce was so flavorful. I would literally get everything again next time AND try the rest of the menu. I might sound like I'm exaggerating but I'm not. We came across Gogoma Korean Eatery in Fullerton on Yelp and didn't realize it was their soft opening when we stopped by. Overall, most of what we tried was delicious and full of flavor! The OG Kimbap is a classic and was good. It does contain ginger, which I'm personally not a huge fan of, but that's just my preference. The Spam & Egg Kimbap was really tasty -- the flavors paired so well with both the ssamjang sauce and the kimchi sauce. The kimchi ramen is exactly what you'd expect in the best way -- a little spicy with a whole lot of flavor. The sweet & spicy pork rice bowl was good too, but I felt like it needed something extra to really make it shine. Adding the kimchi sauce definitely helped bring out more flavor. The highlight of the meal (and my personal favorite) was the GoGoMa -- a roasted sweet potato served with your choice of miso honey butter or kimchi sauce. I chose the miso honey butter and it did not disappoint! It had a delicate balance of lightly sweet, buttery flavor with just a hint of miso. Paired with the natural sweetness of the roasted sweet potato, it was absolutely delicious. I'm not usually a fan of restaurants offering canned drinks, but they have a complimentary self-serve table near the door with barley tea, water, and anchovy broth during dine-in -- which I really appreciated. (The soup is an extra charge if you order it to-go.) The anchovy broth was lightly salted, not overly fishy, and even had a slight spicy kick. The barley tea is always a favorite of mine whenever we visit Korean restaurants. The prices are reasonable -- our total came out to about $70 including tax. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with Korean music playing softly in the background -- not too loud, just right. We'll definitely be back to try more items! read more

Menu is minimal but it's got everything you need! Kimbaps & Bowls -- perfect for that quick grab n go but not short on flavor by any means! I've had the spam & egg kimbap bc who doesn't love spam.. the Bibim bowl, and katsu bowl. The bowls are packed with savory meat, and marinated veggies and a beautifully over easy fried egg. They make everything including sauces in house -- the katsu is perfectly breaded. The katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The curry had great flavor and just the right amount of warmth and richness. I've been eagerly awaiting the opening of this Korean joint and it did not disappoint!! I dined in and started with the OG Kimbap ($7) followed by the Crispy Bowl ($15) that included a side of curry. The two dishes were phenomenal ! The Kimbap (10 well sized pieces) was freshly made and was very tasty. I paired it with their complimentary broth with freshly cut scallions and it was a perfect duo. I should've stopped eating and taken the rest of the food home but when the crispy chicken w steamed rice and a side of curry came out I couldn't resist!! I've been waiting for GoGoMa to open and they opened today for their soft opening! They've made this place very cute and bright! The front cashier staff were very sweet and friendly and patiently helped me to explore their menu. Currently they have a limited soft opening menu but will be adding more items to it soon. They also have a side area where they will have a "convenience store" section. Not sure what they will carry but I'll be back to check it out! I got the food to go - OG Kimbap and the Crispy Bowl. Both solid!!! The Crispy Bowl is like a katsu chicken - so crispy and juicy - on rice with a side of curry for dipping! The kimbap tastes homemade. It's a smaller portion but priced well for it.
