They kept talking about it even after we left and how it wasn't too sweet which is the ultimate compliment!!! It also came with a matcha crème sauce to pour over the pancakes! With soufflé pancakes to short rib eggs benedict, burritos, and Cookie butter French toast made with the softest bread... there are so many options here!! Summer Matcha drinks were soooo refreshing and felt healthy! They also have more items on their menu and catering options like the Korean Fried Chicken and smoked chicken !! This is a Korean inspired breakfast/brunch spot. Definitely an awesome find, there were so many different drinks and dishes that I wanted to try! I opted for the galbijjim eggs benedict, since I have never seen an eggs benedict using the galbijjim meat. It was so tender and tasted amazing with the hollandaise and poached egg. Everything was cooked perfectly! We also shared the ube brulee brick french toast, which was super pretty, but not much ube. I think if they add ube to the custard or even thicken the syrup and add ube in the drizzle, then that might make it more true to the name. But otherwise it was delicious and a good dish to share between the table instead of a main dish. The Big Breakfast Plate was perfect for my husband and kids to share, since it's plenty of food with three different proteins! I ordered the Dubai chocolate latte to drink, but it wasn't really anything special. When it came out, it just looked like a regular latte. I could tell they just used a pistachio syrup, so I was just hoping there was going to be a little bit more to it, like toppings or a cream on top. I will start off by saying the item I had planned on getting was no longer on the menu, so that was a bummer. I ended up going with the brisket burrito and I was not a fan of it. It was not what I was expecting, and was VERY sweet. :( The marshmallow treat I got was delicious, though. Everyone elses food looked really good, and their salsa was good! I've passed by this place a few times when trying out other spots in this plaza and its always packed when I pass by. Finally had a chance to check it out and I love that there's outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day so we went inside, ordered and went outside to sit. this is a good place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch to enjoy by yourself, as a duo, or a small group! it's a pay before you sit down type of restaurant. luckily there was no line when i went. you get your food within about 20-30 minutes and with it being a weekday, the service was a little slow. i had to ask for utensils that didn't come with our food and had to go up to the counter to ask for extra plates after not receiving them when i asked. regardless of slow service, the workers were always so kind every time i interacted with them and i just understood that it's probably not as well staffed on a weekday compared to a weekend! since i went a little later in the day, a few items were sold out so definitely go earlier for items like the steak and eggs or shakshuka. the french toast was so delicious. probably my favorite item and the sweetness was the perfect amount without being way too sweet. they offer butters, jams, and syrups on the side if you want to add more. the loaded fries were yummy but i wish the fries itself were crispier to last longer against the sauce and cheese since it got soggy quickly. the loco moco was decent, the eggs were cooked perfectly but the beef patty was just okay and there wasn't that much gravy compared to other loco moco's i've had in the past. overall, good place to eat at. i would definitely come back to try out other food items since they have so many fusion breakfast/brunch/lunch items! i do think their sweet items may be better than their savory items. for the drinks, i loved the banana biscoff latte so much. it had a strong biscoff flavor with a subtle banana flavor and the espresso was very balanced with the sweetness of the drink. the strawberry matcha was more like strawberry milk with a hint of matcha. would definitely choose the lattes over matcha here! read more

We are looking a place for bunch and this place pop up. It was pack on a Tuesday 11am, so I have high expectation. Unfortunately, food and drink are just average, if not below. We ordered coconut cloud matcha and banana matcha. The coconut drink was like coconut water with no flavor of matcha and the banana matcha taste only match and no banana flavor. In term of food, the spicy pork belly taco is well seasoning, but lack of spicy. I wish they added some type if slaw on top, it would enhance the dish. Kimchi fried rice on the side was are lack of depth. The waffle from Nutella waffle tasted old and not freshly made. We have to ask for our utensils since there isn't any around. The positive thing of this place is that they have extended menu so maybe we just didn't order it right. Our cashier seems also seems friendly. We ordered a kalbi Benedict and brisket burrito and both were so sad... the Benedict's poached egg was really running and undercooked, and its muffin was not really toasted. And the burritos rice was also undercooked. We waited more than 20 mins for our food and everything was undercooked. The manager did apologize and comp us Nutella fluffy pancake, really nice of them. The sitting area was nice and chill, and we were able to walk to Barnes Nobles right after brunch which is a huge plus. Stopped by after hearing great things about this spot. The location is nice, and the outdoor seating area has great views, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered two strawberry matchas and two bacon burritos and grabbed a table outside. The wait ended up being longer than expected, and we noticed a couple of guests who ordered after us received their food and drinks first. However, the staff apologized for the delay and generously brought out pancakes on the house, which was a very thoughtful gesture and definitely made up for the wait. The bacon burritos were worth the price! I'd give them an 8/10. The strawberry matchas were also very good, another 8/10. The complimentary pancakes were fluffy and tasty as well, around a 7/10. Finally found a new favorite dessert place! It's located within the shopping center and there's ample parking. Inside is super spacious. Order is done by online/qr code on the table. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I tried the strawberry, melon, and injeolmi shaved snow (attached pictures are size small). I recommend ordering small sizes if you want to try multiple flavors, as even this is fulfilling. It's the perfect bingsoo that I've been looking for--already condensed milk-flavored ice that isn't bland, and more toppings that are layered in the middle. They were SOO GOOOOD. As for the slaw, there was barely any honey miso flavor and was basically just normal shredded cabbage. Overall, the sandwich was really dry and mostly flavorless so we doused it with ketchup to eat. One orders at the counter and then grabs a table, or I think one could also just order at the table through their QR code on the placeholder. We both ordered the same, 2x Matcha Soufflé Pancake and 2x Drip Coffee. For half & half, the trend these days are the mini individual cups but at least it was a brand name. Drip Coffee $4 Matcha Soufflé Pancake $15 Served with blueberries and sweet cream, dusted with matcha powdered sugar. Keep in mind that soufflé pancakes take at least 30 minutes, and one cannot order them to-go because it would not be fluffy anymore, and could also deflate when taking leftovers home. My leftover soufflé pancakes actually retained their shape. Funnily enough, a friend of mine just happened to be there the night before after their dinner at 88 Katsu and ordered bingsoo for dessert here at Kitch Cafe. Service was interesting - I do not know how to describe it. I guess it's more of a "quick-service restaurant" than an actual sit down service restaurant. One can ask for refills for their coffee, but the workers stopped stopping by our table after 1 refill. I had asked for more creamer for my refill and my friend's first coffee but they never brought any, so I had went up to the counter to ask the worker for a few more creamers. I didn't realize that there were some extra half & half creamers near the right side of the counter, which I did not realize until I had returned from using the restroom. There are 2 unisex restrooms for customers. Kitch Cafe is located in the Amerige Heights Town Center, where the row of one-way parking is, across from Barnes & Noble and also near dPlace Steak & Pasta, which is one of my favorites. Went on a mid Saturday morning for breakfast because we had another store to visit down in the OC area. We got there around 9 AM and it wasn't crowded - You walk in and you're taken to your seat and can either scan their menu or look at the plastic menus they have at the table. I got their Shakshouka ($15) - Eggs poached in a tomato sauce with various spices and four pieces of sourdough toast. Additionally, I added a Hojicha Black Sesame Iced Latte ($6.50). Honestly, their Shakshouka was just okay. I thought it was a tad spicy, but otherwise, the flavor just wasn't coming through. I did really like their sourdough bread and I'm glad it came with four slices (Some places only give you two!). I really liked their Hojicha Latte - Refreshing, smooth, and baby friendly (meaning not too much caffeine!) I think my husband got their Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict ($21) - Korean braised short rib with two poached eggs on topped with a gochugaru hollandaise sauce and potatoes. He also got a hot coffee (I forgot what it's called). He thought his dish was too salty and that over powered any of the other flavor that was part of the dish. Then there was the Matcha Souffle Pancakse ($15). These weren't as fluffy as we thought they'd be, but they were still light and airy with a hint of Matcha flavor. Paired well with the whip cream and was a sweet treat to end our breakfast on. There's plenty of seats inside for big and small groups. There is an outside patio, but if it's really hot, they don't have a lot of shaded area's depending on when you dine in, so I'd opt to sit inside. There are two bathrooms for both genders, one of the doors is pretty hard to open and close. Parking shouldn't be an issue as there's tons of spaces around Kitch (just maybe not as much directly in front of it if you get there late). When we left around 10:45/11 AM, there were people waiting to get in, so come early if you don't want a wait. They also offer Yelp check in. I think our experience doesn't reflect what others have said about this place - I would come back to try their breakfast sandwiches. read more
