Matcha Soufflé Pancakes, Biscoff Banana French Toast, Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict | Fullerton, California
Justin L.

I had the best soufflé pancakes when I was in Kyoto recently. As soon as I came back home, I wanted to eat more! Kitch Cafe had them on their menu, so I stopped by for brunch to satisfy my cravings. They have three flavors to choose from. I got the matcha, which is supposed to be topped with blueberries and powdered sugar. Definitely came with a lot of sugar, though the fruit was mysteriously absent. Besides that, the pancakes were fairly fluffy and paired well with the sweet cream. I also got to try the Biscoff Banana French Toast, which was enjoyable as well. The Korean braised rib (Kalbi Jjim) Eggs Benedict was too salty. If you order this, make sure you request adjustments when you're at the register. Lots of interesting fusion menu options to try overall. Good amount of seating inside and out.

Great food and drinks! Cute cafe spot, order at counter or at table. Lots of fusion brunch foods. Brisket breakfast burrito was really good!! Also ordered their french toast. Excited to try their ube french toast next time. Vanilla latte was solid. Matcha was a little bland.

Galbi Jim Eggs Benedict

Went here for brunch and ordered the Galbi Jim Eggs Benedict with tallow fries , original soufflé pancakes, and their banana biscoff latte. Presentation was excellent, service friendly and quick, overall taste of food was heavy on flavor. Get ready to overload your taste buds. The Galbi Jim Benedict was a bit salty and tallow fries super salty, soufflé pancakes was a bit dense with a milky flavor, and the banana biscoff latte was a sweet-cookie drink. I enjoyed the Asian fusion angle of this place and will return to try their other unique dishes.

I've passed by this place a few times when trying out other spots in this plaza and its always packed when I pass by. Finally had a chance to check it out and I love that there's outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day so we went inside, ordered and went outside to sit. We got the nutella souffle pancake, the biscoff banana brulee brick french toast (a mouthful lol), the breakfast smashburger & brisket breakfast burrito. The food was good but nothing that made me say "WOW I gotta come back". If i was already in the area & didn't have any other place I want to try then maybe i'd come back, but I think i'm okay with coming here once.

Coconut cloud matcha and banana matcha

We are looking a place for bunch and this place pop up. It was pack on a Tuesday 11am, so I have high expectation. Unfortunately, food and drink are just average, if not below. We ordered coconut cloud matcha and banana matcha. The coconut drink was like coconut water with no flavor of matcha and the banana matcha taste only match and no banana flavor. In term of food, the spicy pork belly taco is well seasoning, but lack of spicy. I wish they added some type if slaw on top, it would enhance the dish. Kimchi fried rice on the side was are lack of depth. The waffle from Nutella waffle tasted old and not freshly made. We have to ask for our utensils since there isn't any around. The positive thing of this place is that they have extended menu so maybe we just didn't order it right. Our cashier seems also seems friendly. This place deserve 2.5 stars but we rounding it up to 3.

Really wanted to like this place but it's brunch food was unfortunately subpar. We ordered a kalbi Benedict and brisket burrito and both were so sad... the Benedict's poached egg was really running and undercooked, and its muffin was not really toasted. And the burritos rice was also undercooked. We waited more than 20 mins for our food and everything was undercooked. The manager did apologize and comp us Nutella fluffy pancake, really nice of them. The sitting area was nice and chill, and we were able to walk to Barnes Nobles right after brunch which is a huge plus. The tallow fries were pretty good though, and although we haven't tried their coffee they seemed good too.

Stopped by after hearing great things about this spot. The location is nice, and the outdoor seating area has great views, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered two strawberry matchas and two bacon burritos and grabbed a table outside. The wait ended up being longer than expected, and we noticed a couple of guests who ordered after us received their food and drinks first. However, the staff apologized for the delay and generously brought out pancakes on the house, which was a very thoughtful gesture and definitely made up for the wait. The bacon burritos were worth the price! I'd give them an 8/10. The strawberry matchas were also very good, another 8/10. The complimentary pancakes were fluffy and tasty as well, around a 7/10. Aside from the longer wait time, this is a very solid spot. I'd come back to try more items on the menu.

I came because I wanted a coffee/matcha. I got matcha strawberry and waited for lunch time while I worked a bit. I looked at the menu and saw so many things that caught my eyes. I might have been way too hungry and was going to get the Chinese chicken salad but I was debating between that and the burrito. An employee asked if I had any questions because I had almost finished my matcha and was working. I asked which of the two items he recommended and said the burrito! I had no regrets! He even told me to try it with the salsa. It was so delicious. I enjoyed the kimchi too. My boyfriend had half my burrito and asked where did I get this from because we've never had anything like it. Nonetheless I'll be coming back with him Next.

Banana cold brew with oat milk

Went for breakfast and loved it! The establishment was clean and nicely decorated, with seating inside and out. The employees were also friendly and attentive. I ordered the banana cold brew with oat milk, and the bacon burrito, and they were both delish!! They use a special sauce in their burrito, and it makes all the flavors taste so good together. I've also never had a banana cold brew, so thought I'd try, and glad I did. I'll definitely be back to try more. Thanks!

I saw this place on TikTok and finally got a chance to check it out. I came in with high expectations for Kitch, but unfortunately, some things didn't quite meet them. First off, the guy who took our order at the counter seemed very distracted and unengaged, almost like he didn't want to be there, which wasn't the best first impression. We ordered an iced banana cream latte, iced banana cream matcha, a bacon breakfast burrito, and the matcha soufflé pancake. Starting with the drinks-they were delicious and definitely the highlight of our visit. As for the food, the bacon breakfast burrito was good but nothing memorable. The matcha soufflé pancake, which I was most excited about, was disappointing. It ended up tasting mostly like egg. I've had soufflé pancakes before, so I probably wouldn't order this one again. It did come with a matcha-type syrup that was delicious, I honestly could have had that on its own. Overall, I'd likely come back just for the coffee or matcha.

Banana biscoff latte. AMAZING. MUST. TRY.

Finally found a new favorite dessert place! It's located within the shopping center and there's ample parking. Inside is super spacious. Order is done by online/qr code on the table. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I tried the strawberry, melon, and injeolmi shaved snow (attached pictures are size small). I recommend ordering small sizes if you want to try multiple flavors, as even this is fulfilling. It's the perfect bingsoo that I've been looking for--already condensed milk-flavored ice that isn't bland, and more toppings that are layered in the middle. They were SOO GOOOOD. And the banana biscoff latte was AMAZING. Flavorful and creamy and you can actually taste each flavor. I'm not a coffee person, but would definitely come back here just for this. Only downside was not being able to try their soufflé pancake, due to ending at 3pm (*cries*). Will definitely come back soon!!

Came here for brunch and it was almost a full house, you can either order at the counter first or use the QR code on the table to place your order. Everything went well except for the fact that I couldn't for the love of me hear the guy taking my order, and he wouldn't even try to speak a little louder which was frustrating. I ordered their brisket sando with fries and it was spectacular! The fries were amazing and the brisket was tender, everything tied up really well. My bf got their biscoff French toast and OMG I could eat this for the rest of my life, not like your regular French toast, more like a loaf of soft glorious bread topped with custard, bananas, and biscoff. SO YUM! Definitely try this if you're overwhelmed with options. I didn't enjoy their matcha latte too much though, way too milky and lacked matcha flavor. All in all, would def come back!!

Friendly service and good brunch food. We went on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. Surprisingly it was still busy at that time. There's plenty of seating inside as well as some outside. We ordered the smash burger, brisket Sando and side of kimchi fried rice. We also ordered the pistachio cream matcha. Everything was yummy. We both agreed that we enjoyed the smash burger over the brisket Sando. The seasoning on the kimchi fried rice was spot on and the pistachio matcha was very creamy and had the right amount of sweetness. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The ambience was very open and chill. The food did take some time to come out but possibly due to how busy they were at the time. We would definitely consider coming back especially for the drinks as well as for the variety of food options.

I went with the meat lovers version and this thing was packed. Eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, ham, melty cheese, and all wrapped tight in a warm tortilla. They don't skimp on anything. It's got that diner-style heartiness, and when you pour on the red or green salsa...Boom! everything just ties together. The homeade salsa was amazing also! Inside, it's got a classic local joint feel. Booths, tile floors, jerseys and photos on the wall, it gives off that neighborhood diner energy. The staff's cool, real chill. The guys behind the counter looked like they were having a good time while working, which always makes the whole place feel more welcoming. You order at the front, and a staff member brings the food over to your table. We were about to eat inside their patio while it was a little chilly, but some indoor booths opened up for us. We both got the bacon burrito ($14). This is a large breakfast burrito with chopped bacon, two scrambled eggs, hash browns, and cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla. You can pick either red or green salsa. I liked the green salsa as it had a good balance of spice and flavor. The burrito has a lot of hash browns, which can overpower the overall flavor and other ingredients. The breakfast burrito seemed a little pricy, but the portion size made up for it. I even took a small remnant of leftovers home.
