I'm ashamed to admit that I came here because of a TikTok trend "lunch in your city". This place was the first to pop up but because it's a coffee shop I obviously didn't come for lunch. The shop is located in a shopping center with Stater Bros. and a bunch of little stores and restaurants. I come around 8:30am usually, right after I drop my son off at school. It's always pretty busy at this time. The shop is pretty big, Lots of seating. Kept very clean. I've tried their Spanish latte because that is the drink I use to compare coffee shops. Their Spanish latte is pretty good. I've also tried their strawberry matcha which also was good. But the London Fog has been my favorite. There's a coffee shop in Highland park where I fell in love with their take on it and Here & There's version tasted almost identical. I always want to try a burrito, however after trying their cinnamon roll, I don't know if I ever will try the burrito. The cinnamon roll is a must order for me. It's part croissant part cinnamon roll and just a heavenly little treat. I've also had their craffle, but I messed up and saved it for later and when I warmed it, it just wasn't the same. still good, but it wasn't fresh or crunchy like it should be. Honestly, if this place was a little closer to me, I'd probably be there daily. Luckily for my wallet, It isn't. read more

I enjoyed my visit here on a Tuesday morning! There is ample seating both inside and outside, and there were lots of folks catching up, working, and relaxing. The staff was kind, and despite the busy morning, my drink came out within 5 minutes! I ordered the iced corn matcha with oat milk. Although the corn added a naturally sweet, buttery flavor to the matcha, the corn flavor wasn't that pronounced. I was a bit disappointed, as this specific drink (with oat milk) was $8.50 before tip. I plan to return, but will try a different matcha! read more

Unfortunately, I do not think I will be returning :( *NOTE: this review is specifically for their matcha and hojicha latte, not for any coffee or tea beverages* I remember coming to the La Mirada location when it first opened, and it was consistently amazing service, with quality drinks, and an overall great environment. As of the last 6-8 months, maybe because of its popularity increasing & that it's right by schools, but me and several friends of mine have experienced a difference in the drink quality and customer service. When I walked in, no one of the 3-4 baristas on bar greeted me. There may have been a queue of tickets, so I can understand if maybe they just didn't see me, but even standing by the counter I was not acknowledged until several minutes later. After I ordered, I noticed that instead of whisking the hojicha in the bowl (which they used to do for both matcha and hojicha), it's now scooped into a plastic pitcher, hot water poured over and quickly mixed with a metal whisk. Because of that, my friends experienced a really dull taste in their matcha on two separate occasions. The hojicha showed about the same quality. We were already home by that time to ask for any adjustments. If these drinks are costing close to $7-8, my hope was that the quality would be a bit better, especially because I can testify that their drinks were at that caliber in the past. If there is a need to push drinks out quickly because of rushes, I hope they can take into consideration the quality they are putting out to their paying customers. read more

I got the banana matcha and it was pretty good. It wasn't too sweet and had very small hints of banana. The matcha flavor was there, more on the creamy side. There was notable earthiness but not bitter at all. The service was fast and efficient. It wasn't too busy when I came in and placed my order. My drink came out in less than 5 minutes. The ambiance is clean and modern. There's plenty of seating and honestly is a really good place to study. There's ample parking available! read more

A little bit of a drive for me BUT a truly wonderful coffee shop!! They have lots of unique flavors available - from cherry to pistachio, from maple to banana, etc. they have lots of different matcha latte options along with fun coffee options. They also have a lot of fun pastries here that I want to come back to try! I had to try both: **Vienna coffee latte 10/10 All of the flavors were nicely balanced with the espresso and milk, i especially loved the salted cold foam!! Truly a delicious latte that I would order again! **Banana Matcha Latte 9/10 The banana flavoring tasted very natural and the matcha wasn't grainy at all, very smooth and creamy. There is 1 public restroom inside and multiple indoor seating options. Service was quick and baristas were friendly as well. They also have a rewards program available which is enjoyable and encourages you to come back! read more

Here&There is our go-to coffee shop after our Saturday morning pilates class. Friendly staff, yummy pastries, lots of seating! Their menu seasonally changes which is nice. My go-to is the Maple Latte with Oat Milk or the Spanish Latte with Oat Milk. It's usually pretty quiet when we arrive around 8:15am. Nice place to get some work done, chat, etc. Coffee is delicious and the vibes are good! Plenty of parking in the parking lot! read more

Been coming here since they opened and wanted to wait to make my review so I could patron this spot several times and try multiple dranks. First - this spot is very trendy and chill vibe. Wooden tables, chairs, current beats playing. Baristas very nice and have made some great recs. My go to now is the Lavender Latte with almond milk. Hubby loves the Spanish and the seasonal fav for me is the Jamaica Lemonade- topped with tajin!! So glad this spot is down the street. I ha e made it a point to come as often as I can. It's in the same parking lot as Stater Bros - a few businesses away from Chopd and R&B. They also offer vegan donuts- but don't sleep in because those babies get swooped up quick. read more

had a cute matcha date here with my daughter on a Saturday morning. open, clean space, tons of seating, and overall a great experience. we ordered their ube matcha and banana matcha, along with a croffle warmed up (of course). probably one of the better ube matchas i've tried, and my daughter stated her banana matcha was spot on the banana flavor and the matcha held its flavor. the croffle was absolutely delicious and so fun to eat! staff was super friendly and helpful. they've got a summer menu right now that i'll be back to try. there was a pop up by machette xyz which offered a breakfast longonisa egg sandwich with tator tots. we tried it, we LOVED it. only heard about it from instagram, so we were glad to try it. tons of parking in their shared lot in the plaza. i believe ralphs is located in this plaza as well. anyway, will definitely be returning! read more

Great coffee shop! This is a pretty popular spot, especially among Biola students. Seating can be hit-or-miss during peak hours & the school year, but there are a lot of tables. Drinks are very solid, no complaints. Located in a strip mall with ample parking. read more

UPDATE: I'm updating my review to 4 stars. I love how kind and responsive the owners are (to my review and others), which shows true pride in their store and how they stand behind their products while also wanting to explain them well to consumers. That's rare nowadays. Service is always fast, place is clean, vibes are good, and although I haven't found my perfect drink here, my husband and I would still come back in the future to try to find what works for us. Thank you! We came after lunch today around 2 PM on a Saturday. While it's normally bustling in there, we were surprised to see just a few tables taken by one or two people, so maybe the college crowd has gone home for summer or something or more come in the later afternoon. Anyway, we decided to give this place a shot again since our first visit was awhile ago. This time, we ordered the ube matcha with oatmilk and the matcha lavender latte. Ube Matcha (3/5): My husband ordered it hot and requested oatmilk. It wasn't labeled in such a way anywhere, but he's super sensitive to dairy (we didn't have any dairy for lunch) and he's been suffering for it this afternoon. Not sure if they messed up. He also prefers more caffeine and this matcha felt a bit light, although he admittedly does black coffee and mixes his own ceremonial matcha with water at home. In trying his and my matcha, I think the matcha flavor is still lighter than I'd like too. It's not a bad cup, but maybe the matcha drinks are just lighter than our personal taste preference. Lavender matcha (3/5): Lavender and matcha flavor are both light. I imagine they use actual lavender infused syrup so it's not as strong as the artificial stuff, which is fine, but it's more of the matcha flavor that I still find on the weaker side than I'd like. I'm not ready to give up on this coffeeshop entirely as I like to support my local shops, but maybe I just haven't found the right drink yet. Now that I've tried three matcha drinks from here, maybe it's just not to my taste and perhaps something stronger from the coffee menu will be better suited. 'Til next time! read more

Drinks 9/10 So far, I've tried their: -Ube Matcha -Double Matcha I've tried both drinks a few times and while I think their drinks are delicious, I will say they're a tad inconsistent with sweetness levels and flavor strength especially for the double matcha. It's tasted overall good every time, but quality and taste has varied a bit. Still planning on coming back though for more! Service 9/10 Friendly and helpful baristas! Ambiance 9/10 I love the aesthetic of this place. The graphics of the signs and drinks mixed with the minimalist furniture, and natural lighting make the place feel very warm and peaceful. It's a great spot to study or chat with a friend. I do wish they had a few more outlets for device charging. Just a small note--the front sign is a bit hard to read. Every person I've been here with has had trouble finding the location because the sign on the front is a bit different to read. Just a heads up! It's the corner building with big puffy blue lettering on the front. read more

Here & There has been a personal staple of mine in La Mirada since they've opened here last summer. They offer a simple but diverse menu of drinks along with a variety of baked goods as well. I've only tried the matcha latte and double matcha (my recommendations), but I have heard many great things about their other drinks from friends. Even though they charge an extra 50 cents for sweetener, I always tend to come back . Interior and ambiance is great all around. There is a fair amount of tables for doing work along with a generous area with smaller coffee tables to sit and chat. Great vibes across the board. read more

Came here on a weekday to get some caffeine and something small to eat. They had a good amount of customers inside for a weekday. Ordering was quick and our items took about 10 minutes total. My boyfriend got the flat white whereas I got the matcha latte with a ham and cheese croissant. My boyfriend thought the flat white tea tasted just okay since he usually only gets Vietnamese coffee. The flat white had a twist to it not like regular flat whites I'm used to where it's more of a balanced and mellow taste. The matcha latte I got was delicious, I throughly enjoyed it. The ham and cheese croissant was hot and crispy. It tasted like more breading than ham maybe because the ham was on one side of the croissant haha. Nice place for a caffeine and pastry pick me up. They're also dog friendly and had a dog water bowl outside from what I noticed! read more

Came by in the morning to check out the Machette pop-up and grabbed a couple of drinks while we waited for our food. The Cherry Matcha was a 3.5/5 for me. The cherry and matcha flavors were both pretty light. If you like drinks that are more subtle you'll probably enjoy it, but I personally prefer the flavors to stand out a little more. The Shaken Piña Colada was a 2/5. I was hoping for more pineapple, but the cold brew kind of took over and I didn't think the flavors worked that well together. The service was definitely a 5/5 though! The baristas were super friendly and helpful. Even though it was really busy they moved fast and I got my drinks quicker than I expected. I also loved the vibe of the shop. The graphics, minimalist decor, and natural lighting make it feel really cozy and inviting. It's a nice place to hang out, but if you're planning to study or work just know it gets pretty loud and crowded. Even though these drinks weren't my favorites I'd still come back to try more of the menu. The service and atmosphere definitely make it worth another visit! read more

My wife and I absolutely love Here & There and were thrilled to see them open up this second location. The original at Rodeo 39 is great (although parking can be a chore at times) and this one is even larger with plenty of seating room and the same great quality of drinks and service. Here & There has become our Saturday morning go to coffee joint. The owner is friendly as is the staff, the drinks and pastries are phenomenal and the vibe is chill and welcoming. I am pretty basic in my drink preference which is normally a standard iced vanilla latte but the one offered here is flavorful and always consistent in quality and taste. I also love the Orange Mocha as well and it is chock full of great orange and mocha flavorings. I am not a matcha person (its simply is not a taste I have acquired) but my wife loves it and the matcha drinks here are among her favorites. If you love matcha, you will love the double matcha as well. They also have a rotating seasonal menu as well so keep checking back. The parking at this location has always been ample to this point and its great to see them thriving in this area and in the former spot of Somethin'. If you like flavorful lattes, great coffee, delicious pastries and friendly service then this is definitely a coffee shop you need to stop in and check out. read more

I've never had Pistachio Matcha Latte but now this is THE drink that I like to get! Here & There is located in the same plaza as the Stater Bros and there's ample parking, which is also a plus. They have communal tables, seatings against the wall, and a standalone bench for folks to sit while waiting for their order. They also have a lovely outdoor patio seating. When I went in on a Saturday afternoon, there were lots of people but the line moved fairly quickly. Even though the menu didn't list Pistachio Matcha Latte, when I asked if it was still available, they confirmed that they could make it--so of course, I ordered one. The latte was perfectly nutty and rich in matcha flavor. I wanted to get the Marshmallow Biscoff cookie and Pistachio Matcha Croissant, but they were all sold out--as expected, and honestly, for good reason! I've seen on Yelp that they also carry the trending Dubai Chewy Cookie so next time I hope to try those! read more

This place took over the former Somethin' location, which I used to frequent few years back. I haven't been to the original location in Stanton due to horrible parking at Rodeo 39, so I'm glad it opened another location. I tried the Matcha Yuzu Tonic and Hojicha Latte. Both were strong and flavorful. Matcha Yuzu Tonic was similar in quality to other places but Hojicha Latte stood out compared to other coffee shops. Decor is clean and modern, with an open layout. It has similar furnishings as Homeboy Coffee in Artesia because the former owner started this brand. read more

New spacious cafe with a fun variety of baked goods and drinks. I've gone twice so far and made my coworkers equally addicted to this place as me. For my first visit, I got a sweet corn einspanner and as a corn enthusiast, the corn flavor was really strong and creamy. The Einspanner itself was balanced and still bold despite the sweet corn cream top. The Dubai chewy chocolate was good but a little too sweet for my preference. I was able to make it multiple little sweet treats lol. On my second visit, I ordered a double matcha. It was creamy and not too sweet. I need to try a regular latte next time because the creaminess was a little too overpowering as I got to finishing my drink. I tried some of my coworker's cinnamon bun and it was massive, moist, and delicious! It's a nice spot to be productive. Theres a variety of seating arrangements: tables, long communal tables, and benches with small table stools. The benches had outlets too! I'll plan to try a pour over or a regular espresso/matcha latte next time. read more

My excitement skyrocketed when a friend told me Here & There opened up in La Mirada! I went to their location in Stanton last year and fell in love with the Spanish latte. My friend got the strawberry matcha (3/5) - kinda watery and the matcha flavor was not prominent. Ofc I got the Spanish latte w oat milk (5/5) - Honestly top 3 best spanish lattes I've ever had. My friend said it's "top 2 she's ever had". Absolutely divine. Croffle (4/5) - A smidge too chewy but delicious nonetheless. Not too sweet either which I enjoyed. Dubai mochi (3/5) - I'm not huge into the dubai chocolate but it was unique and tasted good. If you love dubai chocolate, this is for you. The cocoa powder can get a bit messy tho. 10/10 recommend ANY of their coffee drinks because the way they make their Spanish lattes knocks my socks off. Now that they're in La Mirada, it's dangerously located close to me, but I'm not complaining. read more

Lovely cafe with a wonderful selection of matchas, espressos, and baked goods!! I absolutely loved their double matcha but did wish the matcha flavor was stronger and more vibrant! The vienna matcha was super creamy but the creamy layer did overpower the matcha imo. Their Dubai chewy cookie was solid too! This is also a solid study cafe with WiFi, outlets, ample parking, and bathrooms but it's usually packed even on the weekdays and can get loud so keep that in mind! read more

Here and there has finally made it way over to La Mirada! We are very long overdue for a good coffee shop in the area. Not only is this space beautiful and a wonderful location, but it also has great, great coffee! I believe this is one of many locations that they have in Southern California so they definitely have a reputation that they stand up to. No one is your coffee wonderful but their pastries have a really unique selection. I ordered the pistachio matcha and the strawberry matcha. Their drinks definitely lean on the sweeter side, but they're still very delicious. The pistachio matcha was made with pistachio milk, which I'm absolutely obsessed with. It added such a creamy, nutty flavor that made the drink stand out. For the strawberry matcha, it came with oat milk. Unfortunately, the strawberry flavor overpowered the matcha, so it tasted more like strawberry milk than a balanced matcha drink. Still good, just not as matcha-forward as I expected. I did appreciate the ice cubes though. They held up well and didn't water the drink down too quickly. Overall, it's a great space for studying, working, or hanging out. There's a good amount of tables and seating, so it doesn't feel cramped. It also doesn't taste too strong, but at the same time doesn't taste like there's no coffee in it! It was $7 flat for my drink, so very comparable to other places. The inside is very clean and aesthetic. There's mainly seating across the walls and a few like towards the center.
