Came by in the morning to check out the Machette pop-up and grabbed a couple of drinks while we waited for our food. The Cherry Matcha was a 3.5/5 for me. The cherry and matcha flavors were both pretty light. If you like drinks that are more subtle you'll probably enjoy it, but I personally prefer the flavors to stand out a little more. The Shaken Piña Colada was a 2/5. I was hoping for more pineapple, but the cold brew kind of took over and I didn't think the flavors worked that well together. The service was definitely a 5/5 though! The baristas were super friendly and helpful. Even though it was really busy they moved fast and I got my drinks quicker than I expected. I also loved the vibe of the shop. The graphics, minimalist decor, and natural lighting make it feel really cozy and inviting. It's a nice place to hang out, but if you're planning to study or work just know it gets pretty loud and crowded. Even though these drinks weren't my favorites I'd still come back to try more of the menu. The service and atmosphere definitely make it worth another visit!
Been coming here since they opened and wanted to wait to make my review so I could patron this spot several times and try multiple dranks. First - this spot is very trendy and chill vibe. Wooden tables, chairs, current beats playing. Baristas very nice and have made some great recs. My go to now is the Lavender Latte with almond milk. Hubby loves the Spanish and the seasonal fav for me is the Jamaica Lemonade- topped with tajin!! So glad this spot is down the street. I ha e made it a point to come as often as I can. It's in the same parking lot as Stater Bros - a few businesses away from Chopd and R&B. They also offer vegan donuts- but don't sleep in because those babies get swooped up quick.
First time visiting. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk ($6.50). They used some kind of specialty beans, and I was somewhat surprised by the fruity taste. I would definitely come back just for this. The only thing I didn't like was that the music was blasting at 9:30 in the morning. Someone turned the music up louder for some reason, and I couldn't even hear the cashier speaking.
UPDATE: I'm updating my review to 4 stars. I love how kind and responsive the owners are (to my review and others), which shows true pride in their store and how they stand behind their products while also wanting to explain them well to consumers. That's rare nowadays. Service is always fast, place is clean, vibes are good, and although I haven't found my perfect drink here, my husband and I would still come back in the future to try to find what works for us. Thank you! We came after lunch today around 2 PM on a Saturday. While it's normally bustling in there, we were surprised to see just a few tables taken by one or two people, so maybe the college crowd has gone home for summer or something or more come in the later afternoon. Anyway, we decided to give this place a shot again since our first visit was awhile ago. This time, we ordered the ube matcha with oatmilk and the matcha lavender latte. Ube Matcha (3/5): My husband ordered it hot and requested oatmilk. It wasn't labeled in such a way anywhere, but he's super sensitive to dairy (we didn't have any dairy for lunch) and he's been suffering for it this afternoon. Not sure if they messed up. He also prefers more caffeine and this matcha felt a bit light, although he admittedly does black coffee and mixes his own ceremonial matcha with water at home. In trying his and my matcha, I think the matcha flavor is still lighter than I'd like too. It's not a bad cup, but maybe the matcha drinks are just lighter than our personal taste preference. Lavender matcha (3/5): Lavender and matcha flavor are both light. I imagine they use actual lavender infused syrup so it's not as strong as the artificial stuff, which is fine, but it's more of the matcha flavor that I still find on the weaker side than I'd like. I'm not ready to give up on this coffeeshop entirely as I like to support my local shops, but maybe I just haven't found the right drink yet. Now that I've tried three matcha drinks from here, maybe it's just not to my taste and perhaps something stronger from the coffee menu will be better suited. 'Til next time!
Drinks 9/10 So far, I've tried their: -Ube Matcha -Double Matcha I've tried both drinks a few times and while I think their drinks are delicious, I will say they're a tad inconsistent with sweetness levels and flavor strength especially for the double matcha. It's tasted overall good every time, but quality and taste has varied a bit. Still planning on coming back though for more! Service 9/10 Friendly and helpful baristas! Ambiance 9/10 I love the aesthetic of this place. The graphics of the signs and drinks mixed with the minimalist furniture, and natural lighting make the place feel very warm and peaceful. It's a great spot to study or chat with a friend. I do wish they had a few more outlets for device charging. Just a small note--the front sign is a bit hard to read. Every person I've been here with has had trouble finding the location because the sign on the front is a bit different to read. Just a heads up! It's the corner building with big puffy blue lettering on the front.
Came here on a weekday to get some caffeine and something small to eat. They had a good amount of customers inside for a weekday. Ordering was quick and our items took about 10 minutes total. My boyfriend got the flat white whereas I got the matcha latte with a ham and cheese croissant. My boyfriend thought the flat white tea tasted just okay since he usually only gets Vietnamese coffee. The flat white had a twist to it not like regular flat whites I'm used to where it's more of a balanced and mellow taste. The matcha latte I got was delicious, I throughly enjoyed it. The ham and cheese croissant was hot and crispy. It tasted like more breading than ham maybe because the ham was on one side of the croissant haha. Nice place for a caffeine and pastry pick me up. They're also dog friendly and had a dog water bowl outside from what I noticed!
My wife and I absolutely love Here & There and were thrilled to see them open up this second location. The original at Rodeo 39 is great (although parking can be a chore at times) and this one is even larger with plenty of seating room and the same great quality of drinks and service. Here & There has become our Saturday morning go to coffee joint. The owner is friendly as is the staff, the drinks and pastries are phenomenal and the vibe is chill and welcoming. I am pretty basic in my drink preference which is normally a standard iced vanilla latte but the one offered here is flavorful and always consistent in quality and taste. I also love the Orange Mocha as well and it is chock full of great orange and mocha flavorings. I am not a matcha person (its simply is not a taste I have acquired) but my wife loves it and the matcha drinks here are among her favorites. If you love matcha, you will love the double matcha as well. They also have a rotating seasonal menu as well so keep checking back. The parking at this location has always been ample to this point and its great to see them thriving in this area and in the former spot of Somethin'. If you like flavorful lattes, great coffee, delicious pastries and friendly service then this is definitely a coffee shop you need to stop in and check out.
Good espresso. Really great drink combinations. I recently came and ordered the Vienna, which comes with espresso + milk + sweet cream + sea salt. I didn't realize they closed at 4pm until they cut the WiFi and music right on the dot and started cleaning so that was my cue to leave lol! I'll definitely recommend this coffee shop to others. Side note: they're also pet friendly! I noticed that they had a water bowl outside and treats available at the counter.

The drink is almost too sweet if you don't mix it well, but one that matcha ube equilibrium is achieved, the drink is such a nice sweet treat. I almost wish there was multiple cup sizes at this coffee shop so I could order a large of their drinks. Anyways, be there or be square so go to here and there .
Such a spacious coffee shop. I happened to stop by on a Tuesday morning around 9am. I asked the worker which syrups were house made: demarara and ube coconut. I went with the demarara which he described being similar as brown sugar. I ended up choosing that and it was really good! Will have to bring my laptop next to do some work!
I've never had Pistachio Matcha Latte but now this is THE drink that I like to get! Here & There is located in the same plaza as the Stater Bros and there's ample parking, which is also a plus. They have communal tables, seatings against the wall, and a standalone bench for folks to sit while waiting for their order. They also have a lovely outdoor patio seating. When I went in on a Saturday afternoon, there were lots of people but the line moved fairly quickly. Even though the menu didn't list Pistachio Matcha Latte, when I asked if it was still available, they confirmed that they could make it--so of course, I ordered one. The latte was perfectly nutty and rich in matcha flavor. I wanted to get the Marshmallow Biscoff cookie and Pistachio Matcha Croissant, but they were all sold out--as expected, and honestly, for good reason! I've seen on Yelp that they also carry the trending Dubai Chewy Cookie so next time I hope to try those!
New spacious cafe with a fun variety of baked goods and drinks. I've gone twice so far and made my coworkers equally addicted to this place as me. For my first visit, I got a sweet corn einspanner and as a corn enthusiast, the corn flavor was really strong and creamy. The Einspanner itself was balanced and still bold despite the sweet corn cream top. The Dubai chewy chocolate was good but a little too sweet for my preference. I was able to make it multiple little sweet treats lol. On my second visit, I ordered a double matcha. It was creamy and not too sweet. I need to try a regular latte next time because the creaminess was a little too overpowering as I got to finishing my drink. I tried some of my coworker's cinnamon bun and it was massive, moist, and delicious! It's a nice spot to be productive. Theres a variety of seating arrangements: tables, long communal tables, and benches with small table stools. The benches had outlets too! I'll plan to try a pour over or a regular espresso/matcha latte next time.
Obsessed with this place. The vibe is cute and the baristas are always nice and talkative. I love love love the Ice London Fog. I crave it everyday. Me and my family love coming here!

Every weekend they have this guys from Machette who serves this delicious homemade longanisa burger with fluffy egg and hash brown.. You have the option to add bacon too.it comes with tater tots for only $20. We've gone there for 2 weeks now and can't get enough of it. We even took pix with their Chef Anthony. He is just amazing! Lovely cafe with a wonderful selection of matchas, espressos, and baked goods!! I absolutely loved their double matcha but did wish the matcha flavor was stronger and more vibrant! The vienna matcha was super creamy but the creamy layer did overpower the matcha imo. Their Dubai chewy cookie was solid too! This is also a solid study cafe with WiFi, outlets, ample parking, and bathrooms but it's usually packed even on the weekdays and can get loud so keep that in mind! read more

I ordered a double matcha with oat milk and daughter ordered a Ube matcha with regular milk. I was charged an extra $.50 for the oat milk. My drink was creamy, but a tad too sweet for me. I've had better double matchas elsewhere. Ube latte was yummy. Lots of parking in the shared lot with Stater Bros. read more

I happened to meet the owner, Sam, when the store was closed shortly after they had opened. He noticed us looking at the shop and kindly came back to greet us. He was very pleasant and welcoming. As promised, we made it back to visit. It was hard to choose what to get because the menu looked amazing. I decided on a Strong Smooth Spanish Latte. I like trying it at different locations since the taste can vary depending on the beans used. This one was smooth and absolutely delicious. They also had fresh waffle croissants, so we decided to give one a try. It wasn't overly sweet, just perfectly crunchy and delicious. The location has plenty of parking and a good amount of seating. The space is bright, cheerful, and very clean. I definitely need to come back because there's still so much on the menu that I want to try! read more

i'm HERE ! & there i wish this place was open when i was a student at biola, this is one of my favorite cafes & has brought the best matcha to la mirada much love to my favorites: * pistachio matcha * strawberry matcha * matcha tonic pastries : * everything seed w cream cheese CROISSANT yum * dubai chewy ball i cannot rave about this place enough -- i have brought my mom my friend my friend my friend my friend's friend , everyone i know and they have said, "this is so good" all in unison thank you to the owner for opening this spot -- now a place for good matcha good laughs good fellowship and many biola students and alumni alike , much appreciated and God bless you :) read more
Here and there has finally made it way over to La Mirada! We are very long overdue for a good coffee shop in the area. Not only is this space beautiful and a wonderful location, but it also has great, great coffee! I believe this is one of many locations that they have in Southern California so they definitely have a reputation that they stand up to. No one is your coffee wonderful but their pastries have a really unique selection. From vegan donuts to fresh croissants and a Dubai chocolate ball I would definitely see that here and there has everything that you need when you're looking for a coffee spot. The staff is also over the top very very kind, giving their suggestions as well as speedy service. Whether you're in and out, just grabbing a Matcha coffee or you wanna sit down and catch up on some work here and there's a spot for you. read more
Decided to stop by and give this place a try, and oh my goodness -- it was so good! It was extremely hot today, so I wanted something refreshing and went with the strawberry milk tea, which totally hit the spot. It was perfectly sweet, refreshing, and so delicious. Walking in, I immediately noticed all the aesthetic touches, and it was honestly such a vibe. The space is super cute, cozy, and definitely somewhere I can see myself coming to study. Even though I ordered my drink for pickup this time, I'll definitely be going inside next time to ask for coffee recommendations -- if their milk tea is this good, I have no doubt their other drinks are just as amazing. I'm so happy to see another Here & There location! Same tasty drinks and delicious treats as their first location at Rodeo 39. Plenty of seating and ample parking, as well as several outlet plugs. I tried an iced hojicha latte for the first time and absolutely loved it. I am a fan of a lot of their drink options here as the quality is amazing and is bold in flavor. The earl grey latte is also delicious and the quality of the matcha used here is some of the best. I personally love the everything cream cheese croissant when I come in hungry. I had a fresh waffle today and it was very tasty. Check these guys out. Unique menu options that are delicious. read more

Okay so right off the bat, the service here was so amazing! Unfortunately I don't know the name of the guy who helped me at the register, but literally so sweet and nice and helped explain something on the menu to me when I had a question!! Love the positivity and good vibes!! And when I got there, there were a couple people in front of me, but I didn't have to wait long at all for my order. I ordered the iced Demerara Latte w/ oat milk. Their Demerara syrup is made in house so that's cool! I actually really enjoyed it. It's not super sweet at all, more on the opposite end, but definitely not bitter either! I love a good in between! It also doesn't taste too strong, but at the same time doesn't taste like there's no coffee in it! It was $7 flat for my drink, so very comparable to other places. The inside is very clean and aesthetic. There's mainly seating across the walls and a few like towards the center. I didn't feel too comfy staying towards the center, but all the along the walls were taken! I don't see myself staying to work here too often, but I'll definitely come back for a coffee to go! read more

I ordered the pistachio matcha and the strawberry matcha. Their drinks definitely lean on the sweeter side, but they're still very delicious. The pistachio matcha was made with pistachio milk, which I'm absolutely obsessed with. It added such a creamy, nutty flavor that made the drink stand out. For the strawberry matcha, it came with oat milk. Unfortunately, the strawberry flavor overpowered the matcha, so it tasted more like strawberry milk than a balanced matcha drink. Still good, just not as matcha-forward as I expected. I did appreciate the ice cubes though. They held up well and didn't water the drink down too quickly. Overall, it's a great space for studying, working, or hanging out. There's a good amount of tables and seating, so it doesn't feel cramped. Everyone working there was really nice and full of smiles, which I always appreciate. I'd definitely come back, especially for the pistachio matcha! read more

Stopped by Here & There Coffee and ordered: * Double Matcha (oat milk, full sweet) * House-made Croffle * Dubai Chewy Ball The matcha was smooth, earthy, and strong -- not that watered-down kind Even at full sweet, it still tasted like real matcha. Creamy from the oat milk, perfectly balanced The croffle had that crisp outside, soft inside texture simple but done right. And the Dubai Chewy Ball... chewy, slightly rich, and perfect with slow sips and no rush Not the cheapest order but everything felt intentional and house-made -- which makes it worth it read more

I was excited for this location opening since I love their location in Rodeo 39 in Stanton! Parking is easy as it's in a large plaza with plenty of space. I love the atmosphere inside and all the employees are super kind. I can't say enough about the coffee -- the Vienna espresso is my favorite (love adding an extra single shot). It is always consistent and my go to coffee. Definitely my favorite local coffee shop and I'm excited to see them continue to grow. Also their croffle with the strawberry jam is to die for! read more

Such a cute little spot! I got the Sweet Corn Vienna with their waffle, and it was absolutely delicious. The coffee was perfectly balanced, and the waffle was warm, fluffy, and the perfect sweet treat to go with it. The service was so kind, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Service is great, drinks phenomenal, interior clean, plenty of seating. I love the one in Stanton and am so glad this location is just as amazing. The Nola is delicious and I also tried an iced latte with honey and cinnamon. Fantastic. I highly recommend! read more
Okay first, great space with lots of seating but they are all taken. Great vibe and great parking. The drinks are pretty good and the pastries, especially the waffle was good. Staff is very friendly too. Kinda reminds me of Orange cafes! read more

Place is always packed but I always order online so I never wait in the line. I get the double matcha and it is one of the best matchas I've ever had. Great quality, amazing taste, and it gets me energized. Place is big and has plenty of seating. read more

Love love this coffee shop. It's sooo cute and clean love the vibes and the service super nice guys helped us this afternoon makes for a great experience not only great drinks amazing little cookies but actually the staff super friendly and approachable. Newly opened cute coffee shop at a shopping center La Mirada. It's bright and airy upon entering. Lots of seating areas, I liked the the tables had wheels to maneuver the table if needed... with plenty of wall plugs to charge laptops or phones. After a carefully thought out decision, I ordered the Nola, it's a Cold brew with cane sugar and oat milk...very smooth and light.... Girls are nice bathroom not prestige but ok and honesty in the business pretty poor I'd say since I asked for my matcha without ice then they gave me a half empty drink because they supposedly go by ratios and not by size idk but I hate when they are that petty as if coffee shops were not the most lucrative business this is what they gave me. I rather go to R+B or Ding tea across the parking lot. read more

Really delicious drinks and friendly service!! I highly recommend the matcha corn latte! The only downside is they close a bit too early but I did hear it's closing a bit later soon? Hopefully they continue to extend the hours! It's a great place with super friendly service! read more
