Came on a weekend afternoon, and I was luckily able to find a parking lot as someone was leaving. I was worried that there would be no seating, but there were plenty of tables available when I came in. I will say, it was SO HOT inside the cafe TT it felt like there was no ac on at all, and it was over 90 degrees yesterday. I got the Double Matcha ($7.50), and it was very smooth and creamy. I'm happy there are more cafes in the La Mirada area! The parking here isn't too bad just a bit tight but I visited on a Friday afternoon so I was able to get a spot. The ambiance is great to study or chat with friends. I'd definitely come back to do some work here since there's plenty enough space to sit and is clean. I was warmly greeted when I entered. I already knew that I wanted to get the coconut matcha. In less than 5 minutes my drink was handed to me while I was sitting so I'd say that's 10/10 service! I tried the Double Strawberry Matcha and it was really good, you can taste the strawberry, but it doesn't overpower the matcha, which I really liked. Holy BANANAS, this drink was mad delicious! Unlike other places that serve artificial banana flavored drinks, this cream top resembled an actual banana. I arrived at Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada) on Thursday (around 10:35AM). Parking is simple, but it's tight & cramped. Fortunately, I quickly found a parking spot in the lot. Staff is professional and hard working. Staff politely answered my questions. My drink took five minutes and 46 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Banana Cream Top Coffee ($7.50). It tastes like fresh, natural banana! I even tasted and bit into small bits of mashed up fresh banana in its cream. The coffee is also not overly sweet nor bitter. Rather, the brew flows smoothly like chill silk. There's only two shots of espresso, but I felt clean, strong energy fill me. It's wonderful!! On ambiance, Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada) is minimalistic and popular with customer flow. There's five tiny tables and a long bench. It's echoey inside, and the location is relatively clean. However, the location does need to be a little more diligent in the cleanliness; many long strands of hair were over several of the round cushions. Fortunately, Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada) has good utility. There's four electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; customers need to speak to Staff for the details. There's also a self-service water station, and there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. I appreciated the upbeat music, and as more customers flooded in, I appreciated how Staff strengthened the ventilation. Overall, I had a memorable and lovely experience at Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada). This business is popular for good reason. The coffee is AMAZING!! And I left with a bright smile. Checked out this new coffee spot in La Mirada with a friend! We went on a weekday and it's in a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is really nice! Minimal and spacious, which I loved. Between the two of us, we tried the coconut matcha, yuzu espresso tonic, banana cream top latte, strawberry matcha, cold brew cream top, and split a croissant. Everything was really good!! Not overly sweet, the cream tops were fresh and super foamy. The staff told us they use real fruit in their drinks, and you can definitely tell. The croissant was flaky and buttery, hit the spot. Coffee isn't bad. Some stuff could be better in my opinion. Some of the staff have been rude before as if they lack basic customer service and communication skills, one bad employee can sour an experience for customers. BIGGEST DOWNFALL is they will not answer a phone. Ive tried to call many times to no avail. Ive even called once im inside placing my order to see if they are simply ignoring the phone and no one went to answer. I asked the employee if they take orders over the phone and she tilted her head, shrugged her shoulders and said kind of sometimes it just depends. There was no other customers inside while there were four employees behind the curtain and one taking my order. If youre going to operate or simply work at a food and beverage business how can you not answer the phone. Easy way to loose buisness especially when many people dont have the time to get out place and wait for their order before work. read more

Although the coffee is still really good and the cookie delicious, I did have to bump a couple stars due to just how bad their efficiency was. It seems Tanner's has gotten extremely popular since my last review, and I'm happy for them about that. Unfortunately it seems like they can't keep up with their new found success. Stopped by here on Saturday around 11am and it was busy inside but the orders came out pretty quickly. Its a super cute coffee shop and the employees are all very kind and welcoming. I sat down while I waited for my drinks and it was pretty chill, there were some people working on their laptops and others just hanging out. I got a latte with banana cream foam and it was delicious. My only suggestion is that they add a bit more ice because my cold drink wasn't that cold. Tanners has some of the best matcha I've had. It's smooth, flavorful, and not overly milky at all. So many places I've tried taste like nothing but milk, but you definitely won't get that here. My friend and I ordered the strawberry matcha with oat milk (+.50) and the banana cream top matcha with whole milk. Unfortunately, both drinks were pretty underwhelming. The strawberry matcha mostly tasted like strawberry milk. The strawberry flavor completely overpowered the matcha, so there was barely any matcha taste at all. It was also extremely sweet, which made it hard to finish. We also noticed that the matcha was premade. The matcha was poured from a pitcher, which probably explains why the drinks come out so quickly. For the banana cream top matcha, the cream top was lukewarm and watery and was kept sitting out on the counter rather than refrigerated. While they did use real bananas, the drink itself still felt pretty flat and didn't really stand out. I love discovering new coffee shops so I was excited with this one but was very disappointed with the costumer service the day of my visit. My coffee cup had hair stuck to it, it was on the outside so I did not make it a big deal, the barista saw me removing it with a paper towel or maybe not? But she was looking directly towards me and ignored it. I got to my car and tried the coffee, the espresso shots were pretty weak so I came back to ask if they can add an extra shot. I approached the same barista and she told me to go back to the cashier so I can pay for that shot. I'm not a difficult customer, which is why I didn't make a fuss about the hair on the cup. However, after paying $7.50 for the drink and another $1.48 for an extra shot, I felt the situation could have been handled with a little more care and consideration. A simple apology or gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. You guys offered to remake my drink only after the second time I came back and had asked to get an extra shot. Which I did not have time for. I have no reason to spend my time and effort fabricating a negative review. I simply shared my honest experience as a customer but thank you! read more
