I ordered the the Aztec Mocha, Caramel Frappe, Chilaquiles Verde, and Breakfast Combo with Mini Pancakes The Aztec Mocha and Caramel frappe were both very good and had a ton of flavor. Keep in mind both these drinks were on the sugary side, but I personally like that, but to each their own. The Aztec Mocha was super chocolatey which I loved, and the prices for each are fair for the size you get. The breakfast combo was very very good, a very generous amount of egg, the hash browns were crunchy and hot, and the bacon was delicious. I loved everything on the plate. The mini pancakes were great, good agreeable amount and came out hot. I would highly recommend the combo The chilaquiles were great as well, salsa had a nice flavor, chips were crunchy, and eggs were cooked to perfection. I'm not a beans person, but these were very good and light, I would recommend to order these as well. Overall, everything I had here was great, and I would highly suggest to come here and support you local small business. I decided to try this coffee shop on one of my ventures of trying new coffee shops while on vacay, by myself. It was nice and early on a Tuesday morning around 9 am when I decided to walk in here to have breakfast and try their iced latte I had seen on their Yelp. As I walked in, I noticed the staff member didn't even look at me. Keep in mind, I was probably the first customer to go in that morning, and it was just her at the front. I was about to order with her and she told me to use the kiosk. Maybe I should have known not to order chilaquiles from a café, but I was really craving them and they looked good on someone's Yelp picture! As I'm scrolling the kiosk, I asked her if the sauce for the chilaquiles was spicy, she didn't even turn to me to say yes or no and she seemed like she dreaded work. She did tell me that the red was not spicy, but not even looking at me. I also ordered the chocolate mexicano latte because it looked good in photos and also thought it would taste like Tierra Mia coffee's latte. I was wrong!! It tasted like a nesquick milk drink. Also, when she said my drink was ready I went to get it from the counter and she did not say " your food will be right up" or ANYTHING. I had to ask, "so I'm waiting on my chilaquiles right?" Like girl... please learn better customer service skills. The place has potential if they train their staff better and if they make better salsa for the chilaquiles: they were MID. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house or buy them from Vallarta in the same parking lot because girl; they were not it :( the table I sat at was cute though! It reminded me of my zodiac sign because of the bull. But yeah, this spot is aesthetically pleasing but not good. I would not go back. Train the girl with blonde hair to smile and to greet customer and to communicate!! Also, I wish I could get a refund or a coupon because I wasted $17.50 on this. I could not drink the chocolate Mexicano latte because it was literally powdered nesquick. I felt so awkward having to ask the blonde girl to remake it, so I didn't. Never, have I ever had this bad of an experience here. The wait, and the non-urgency from the employees as they are both playing around on the laptop. I'm big on service, and also big on table touching. We ordered at 9:38 we had to ask for it at 9:52. The girl went to the back and brought our order right out. We dined in, but the crepes were super cold. They weren't busy, but there's no point in having 2 people on POS, if they're both not really working. Might be the owner, but if she is, even worse!! Coming into the cafe, I went to the kiosk to order an iced Vanilla Latte. Observing the safe I could tell the barista didn't look like she was in a good mood. Once I got my order the latte looked like it was just milk. It was a white beverage. I asked the barista to make sure it was the right drink. She said it had two shots of espresso. I did not taste coffee at all. I asked to buy another espresso shot and it didn't make a difference. I didn't want to spend more money on a completely new drink. Very disappointing. Tres leche crepe was delicious. We got our lattes and honestly I should have read the recent reviews before coming. I came back after two years to give them another try. I can say that nothing has changed. My latte just literally and am surprised just tastes like iced water. I'm still wondering how? Wish I could give this place a higher rating. I avoided it at first when it had a B rating and now that it has an A, finally stopped. Place is clean and they have more then just coffee. This cafe is quite something here. I arrived to this café, and there was nobody in line. The environment was pretty slow and quiet. The cashier does not greet me but is watching me like a hawk. I let her know I'm just checking out the menu and she still watching me like a hawk then when I proceed to order, she is Standing in front of the register by the way, but then she pointed at a kiosk and says order there it's faster. I understand that but she could've said that from the beginning and instead of watching me like a half the whole time acting like she's been waiting on me. I've passed by this place many times while in the area. I finally decided to go in a few weeks ago for a solo breakfast, and today, just for a coffee. Service both times were great, everyone was super friendly. The first time, I ordered the 3 leches crepes, and an horchata latte. The crepes were SO good; sweet and flavorful. Unfortunately, the the horchata latte was disgusting (MY OWN FAULT) I opted for coconut milk, and it tasted like nothing but coconut oil. I initially came when the cafe first opened. There were tables that were not serviced. A cart with dirty dishes and silverware. I immediately left. I tried it again today. The cashier was not friendly or accommodating. A matter of fact attitude. After getting our meal, I happened to look around the room and noticed to my dismay were the fans around the restaurant. They were ALL mired in "dust". The worst part of this was the fans were on. This has got to be a health hazard! This just ruined the ambiance. We can't unsee this house keeping issue. I ordered the cold horchata latte and spinach and mushroom crepe. The horchata was fine. The crepe came with an unexpected salad on top. That was bizarre. It made the crepe soggy, it would have been useful for the salad to have its own designated area. It's as though the food had no definition. There was a green sauce that came in a little container and that saved the meal. There were attempts at cute decor. It's not quite there though and because I've tried this place once before, it may never reach whatever goal they're trying to achieve. The bathroom could be cleaner. The food wasn't horrendous nor was it amazing. I love crepes but plan on not coming back. I don't want to poo poo small businesses but maybe just go for the drinks. Also, they do not serve you, or bus your table. So when attempting to throw trash away, I found it off putting that the trash area piled with dishes making it impossible to do what I needed to do. I stopped by here to grab a late lunch. I was excited to see crepe on the menu and the pictures looked good. Sadly, the crepes did not live up to the expectations presented from the lovely photos. The crepe was dry. I asked for the spinach crepe with added chicken for extra cost and cheese. When the crepe came, the Swiss cheese was left unmelted, in its whole piece, and unceremoniously left on top of the cooked crepe. I was rendered speechless by the odd presentation and lack of cooking. I don't recall asking for cheese on the side. I was too hungry to tell the staff to remake it. Plus, the lady at the counter, although very friendly in demeanor couldn't understand much English. I also ordered a sweet crepe with strawberries and that was dry and underwhelming too. There were no fresh strawberries inside, just an artificial strawberry sauce drizzled over the plain crepe. To wash down the crepes and to wake myself out of my late afternoon stupor, I also ordered a Mexican coffee. The coffee was beautifully presented but on the sweet side. Still, the best item out of the three ordered. The ambiance was cute except for the loud dramatic Spanish music blasting from the speakers. It reminded me of loud dramatic and tragic love songs in Chinese. I guess heartbreak is universally presented through music in many languages. I will not be returning. Their breakfast here is very good. I came here with my girlfriends during summer and we stayed for a while enjoying our breakfasts. Chilequiles are my favorite here. Ive only been here once because it was late and i was looking for a coffee shop that was different but wow even being able to order 1/4 sweet and a good variety of alt-milks, the iced vanilla late i ordered just tasted like sweet vanilla milk. There is also a thickness to it that makes me think its pre-made. I dont know, i left thinking i shouldve just went to starbucks or coffee bean.
