Chicken rice bowl with pita bread
Pamela R.

This Cava location is in a busy plaza with a shared storefront parking spots, along with a bigger parking area by Stater Brothers. There are lots of cars hazarding to do pick ups so just beware. As for the food, I ordered their make your own bowl with half saffron basmati rice and half supergreens. My protein was chicken and roasted vegetables, with tzatziki and hummus dips. For toppings, you can go crazy, but I usually get roasted corn, pita crisps, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, and lemon herb tahini for dressing. The bowl itself is very filling and healthy. They have tables inside and outside.

Umm this the last time I order online let me go to chipotle next time cause..what is this portioning im cryinggggg

-Plenty of parking spaces -The staff were nice -Lots of tables for indoor dining -Great and healthy food options -Very friendly atmosphere -Con: the wait could be a bit during lunch/dinner time -Con: Protein proportion depends on the staff

This CAVA location is great. Love being able to come here for a quick lunch during work. They are pretty consistent every time I go and the ingredients seem fresh. Their bowls are also not overly doused in dressing nor skimping out quantity wise like some other locations (*cough cough* Irvine).

This bowl was so good! I got just a Basmati rice base with Spicy lamb meatballs, harissa honey chicken, sweet potatoes, corn, and extra broccoli! For the dips I chose Crazy Feta, Red Pepper Hummus(for a lil spice to the bowl) and Tzatziki which all mixed super well. For the dress I chose the garlic dressing and that topped it off well! Would recommend this place for a fresher meal than most!

I love cava! The taste is always consistent. Relatively healthy with tons of vegetables and good flavor. We came on a Tuesday night for dinner and there were only a couple other people eating. The bench seats inside felt sticky so we didnt love sitting on that but still a good experience as always at cava

My 1/2 roasted veggies, 1/2 falafel build your own bowl. Yum!

My partner is a big fan of Cava so he really wanted me to give it a try. After several visits now I feel compelled to write my review-- I absolutely love this place! The food is great and good quality. My go-to is definitely the build your own bowl so I can add exactly what I want. And we absolutely love love love their pita chips-- delicious! Service has always been great at this location and would definitely recommend over their neighbor, Chipotle any day.

got the bowl to go and quality was there, but I do feel like they skimped on the dips...i could barely even taste it or find it which was unfortunate. service was good, ambiance was clean

When they say 12:15 pm ! They mean it !

This place is very close to work , so it's very convenient to order on the app. They do a honest work when it comes to making their orders on time I truly appreciate that. Although , parking in that shopping center is a nightmare . To be honest The food has so much flavor, tastes come together in such ways that makes the meal so wholesome! As a vegetarian , my favorite part about this whole experience is how full I get with great value of vitamins/protein/fiber. Makes me happy that I not only get great flavors in my pallet but worth the meal cost.

I used to love cava but this location is not good. I ordered on the app and when I came home with my food my bowl was missing all the toppings. It was literally just rice, salad and chicken. I was so annoyed that I had to go back after having driven home already. The only reason I went back was because my salad looked like iceberg lettuce. Apparently they changed their salad and no longer using the original splendid greens. Im guessing they're trying to save money while still charging customers the same.

Steak and Harissa Bowl

My husband and I ordered takeout from this location for a quick dinner. I ordered the steak and harissa bowl. I added splendid greens, brown rice, crazy feta, red pepper hummus, broccoli, corn, pickled onions, tomato + onion, cabbage slaw, Persian cucumber, crumbled feta, pita crisps, hot harissa vinaigrette, lemon herb tahini, and steak. My bowl was delicious. And I love that I can customize my toppings and dressings. This location is in a cute plaza with a lot of other shops and restaurants. You can easily get dessert somewhere or even get errands done after eating here. There was no line and our order was ready for pickup. The staff were still very welcoming and nice even though we were in the restaurant for a short time.

I recently discovered The Chicken Koop, and I am addicted!…read more I love getting their half roasted chicken with 2 sides, and it's been on my weekly rotation. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, and it's a decent portion for the price. I also like that they have a lot of sides to choose from, and I usually go for the Brussels sprouts and jalepeno Mac and cheese. The plate also comes with a fluffy naan! You can pick 2 sauces to go with it, and my favorite sauce is the green sauce. I tried the garlic chicken plate once, but I prefer the regular roasted chicken. I haven't been in yet, so I can't speak to the service or ambiance, but the food is delicious!

This location is a little different, some of the menu & Happy Hour options vary, and it is much smaller inside, but they also have an outside patio to sit. The service was good, and quick. My daughter came for a specific sandwich that she loves, and said it was equally good at this location. I came for the chicken and waffles, I asked for tenders instead of bone-in chicken pieces, and unfortunately it was not as good as the Alhambra location. The battered coating is different and completely falling off of the tenders, the waffle was a little overcooked as well. The Alhambra location uses a panko crusted breading and it's so good and crunchy! I don't think I would return to this location.

Keep in mind I ordered around 12:50pm and the sandwich was ready at 1:45pm. I ordered the Spicy Gabagool Sandwich, and there were barely any mixed greens as compared to other reviews & the menu photo (I love my veggies)! The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all. It was more of a small kick. I also tried their lemon crumb bar and it was very delicious! If anything I would come again to try more of their unique baked goods. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. It is quite small and there are many people waiting for their order inside. There is only outdoor seating, which is scarce.

I was not confused to a stupor that left me angry and frustrated, I was left more dazed with swirling lilies around my mind, like I had been hit hard with the staff of a fairy who pays the bills of the forest as an interior designer. The place has a design concept that takes two opposing forces and blends them into a restaurant concept: health forward food for O.G.'s and their like and crew, all while being a love letter to the streets of Los Angeles, the gritty streets, not the ones next to Rodeo. For instance, Cruz, one of the staff members, was wearing a "Straight out of Whittier" shirt that was clear nod to the movie straight out of Compton that was all about the rap and its consequence on West LA homeboy culture. The central mural of the joint showed low-riders, the LA symbol made with finger angles, and graffiti galore. Again, the message was clear this is a health cafe for Tupac and his friends and followers. These two principal ingredients mixing together (health food and LA street culture) at least in my mind, are more the subject for improv comedy than a sensible restaurant concept. I know people can mix what ever they want together, I know that there is choice when people color and dress, but this motif seemed like it was mixing Ninja culture with a dog grooming service. The concept can work, I see a ninja de-worming a golden retriever with swift skill but this concept also seems forced rather than flowing with common sense. So for a health cafe in LA I see Cher from Clueless, or Barbie, being more easily applied to the concept. But what do I know perhaps in a few months will have a Hell's Angel's tea experience that will not be dainty but rather hard like a helmet and it might be the concept that begins a revolution that ends with Hair Salons with Viking culture at its decoration theme. The (health) food in itself was a blessing. My friend Bailey is the healthy eater of the two of us! She got a simple green salad with tofu. I sampled a forkful. My hand had to dig in hard, with its fork, to retrieve the lettuce, the carrot, and some of the pickle, I avoided the tofu. The greens were fresh, and tasted clean in their simple flavors, but what elevated the green forkful to excellence in taste was the sweet mustard dressing. The green had dressing that turned solid greens to yummy ones! I ordered the shrimp tostada. Cruz, came to the table and explained that my plate was Keto friendly, which meant that it was good food for those who were experiencing life as a pre-diabetic, for example. What I loved about this place and its food, was that I did not feel like I was eating healthy and had to sacrifice pleasure in the name of honoring my health goals. Quite the contrary, the food was just plain good food, and for me, eating good clean food, is a fantastic way to keep my health goals on track. Apparently the tortilla was made out of cactus, and that is a why where the healthy stays in tact, while still being food that is satisfying, and, yummy! I would go here again, especially when my health goals are in full swing. This place will facilitate the process because the food was truly good!
