Matcha white chocolate
Camille R.

Biked with some buddies to Whittier, and one of the stops was Local Fixture. We stopped for coffee. Not a big coffee person so a warm matcha always hits the spot for me. Since we were kind of a big group, there was a line of us. But the barista kept his cool and the flow of the line moving. I enjoyed my full fat milk Matcha drink, hot of course! It was cold and cloudy so it hit the spot!

Pumpkin Spice Latte - Large

I got the pumpkin pie latte and it was okay. I wished the pumpkin flavor was stronger! There was a lot of cinnamon. I tried some of my friends peppermint mocha latte and that was very yummy!

Best tea ever!

This place is delish. Worth the wait. Cute store to buy products. My #1 spot. I get not your momma's tea. So refreshing. Almond croissants and out of this world and too good to share, get your own!

Spinach and feta danish

This coffee bar is my preferred spot go-to before or after going to Pilates class. The ceremonial strawberry matcha paired up with the feta and spinach danish is my absolute favorite obsession. Everyone working here is so nice and the vibe is always the best. I feel so welcomed here and I always look forward to my next visit.

Purple and gold latte- medium. The medium is $7 and in any other coffee shop it would be considered a small. It's supposed to have agave and lavender syrup however I could hardly taste both. 7/10 They have a cool shop full of trinkets, gifts, candles, plants, clothing, etc. it's nice for cute prism personal gifts. The pricing is really high, I saw a tote bag go for $35, which cost about $1-$2 to make. The people are nice but it is overpriced especially for the area.

good very local and they sell some really nice things for gifts. I definitely recommend checking it out for a quick gift ideas for someone's birthday.. has a very local Whittier feel

This cute coffee shop is also a gift shop with an array of Al sorts of fun things to pick from. From live plants, flowers, cards, shirts and sweatshirts to baby bibs. You're destined to find something fun. It also offers a very clean patio area to sit and enjoy your drinks. This place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Loved the vibe.

Peppermint mocha cold brew

I got the banana bread and peppermint mocha cold brew. And I really enjoyed the banana bread but unfortunately their cold brew was disgusting. It barely tasted like coffee and was super watery. My sister got the sweet bee latte and that was better, but I would not recommend the cold brew... Overall, the shopping area is really cute and has some neat items but if it's busy it can be hard to navigate.

Great local coffee shop for to-go coffee orders. My favorite drink is the Stumptown Coldbrew with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. You can place an order through Yelp or through Local Fixture website and they're usually pretty quick to fulfill the order. The lines can get pretty long inside but the baristas are fast and friendly. The pastries and donuts are always delicious. They sell a delicious egg breakfast sandwich that I could eat every day. They also have a cold fridge with grab bottles of water, milk, teas, etc. 10/10!

You can find this coffee bar located in the back right corner of the Local Fixture gift shop. My husband and I came over the weekend and the inside of the store itself was busy with lots of people wandering the store and a few coffee customers waiting for their drinks. Since we were first time customers, we had some questions to ask about their coffee menu and the register-person was able to answer them. We ordered an iced Smores latte and iced Sweet Bee latte. I got the Smores latte which had a hint of marshmallow and chocolate. I felt like it was missing a graham cracker taste and that it overall tasted like a lighter mocha latte. The Sweet Bee latte tasted better and I wish that I had swapped drinks with my husband. Overall, the drinks were so-so. Not sure I'd drive all the way out to this coffee shop again. There's a good amount of street parking and there's a parking structure across the street; both can get pretty crowded depending on the time of day. Customer service could also be a little friendlier by thanking customers for their purchase/order when picking up drinks.

Although the line was long it went fast. The coffee was good and so were the pastries.

That said, once we finally reached the window, the experience turned around. We ordered an iced banana horchata latte and a regular iced horchata latte, and both drinks were worth the wait. The horchata flavor was smooth and well-balanced, not overly sweet, with a nice cinnamon note that complemented the coffee instead of overpowering it. The banana version added a subtle, natural sweetness that made it feel a little more unique without being artificial or heavy. Even with the long line, the quality of the drinks stood out. If you're planning to stop by on a weekend, it's probably best to expect a wait, but at least you can count on getting a solid, flavorful coffee once you make it through.

I ordered it today Sunday, March 1st around 1pm and it tasted nasty as hell. Yes a latte is milk but my drink was milk with a little bit of vanilla with a little bit of ice. Girl in the drive thru couldn't hear anything I was saying so my order was wrong at first. And come to find out all she was doing was talking the whole time. Won't be back. Unless I want nothing but milk in my drink. Make sure to come during the weekday if you want your coffee made right.

LFTD recently made an announcement that they are being evicted by their landlord and will close…read moredown this brick-and-mortar location by the end of this year (December 29th, 2025). A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).
