Their Bagel Turkey Sandwich is a Classic! Its tasty! and when they add jalapeño's to it, it just brings up the flavor! They are SUPER friendly, and remember every guest that comes through the door. It was way too early for me to take pictures here. Next time. But this is like the Cheer's of donut shops and I was definitely an outsider. So it was really no time for me to be taking pictures either. Everyone here knew the owners and the owners knew everyone. I just so happened by this shop because it was raining and tennis was canceled, I love donuts and they sell Lotto. I wasn't going to get anything to eat, like a breakfast sandwich, but, they had 20 pictures of options that I could get besides donuts. I got a sausage and cheese croissant plus a few chocolate glazed and a chocolate cake. Eat the glazed right away because although it will last until the next morning, it tastes best right away. Always important to know a good donut place wherever. I had to get something enticing for a bunch of early risers for a volunteer event on Sunday and this place hit the spot for everyone. Even when I parked I knew I found a great place just on the amount of brisk business they were doing! The employees (family members?) were very nice and congenial. When my lady was working on my dozen other folks came from the back to the front to help other customers. The staff was SO friendly and sweet and I even noticed that when people came in, they knew them by name so that goes to show that people love this place as much as I do! My review about Donuts Express in Whittier. While I was exercising at 24hr Fitness close by, I was yelping for a donut shop nearby. There were quite a few choices nearby, but I was immediately drawn to Donuts Express because of their 5 star rating. A common theme in most of the reviews was that not only are the donuts good, but the customer service here is great. Well, I had to check them out for myself. Found them easily enough in a little strip plaza. They are a true mom and pop donut shop. Yes, the customer service was very welcoming and outstanding even for a non-regular like me. As soon as I stepped inside the shop, I was welcomed! Their display cases were packed with so many choices. I bought a Custard Filled Chocolate Donut and a Chocolate French Cruller. If I recall, it was not Bavarian custard inside. Still good, though. The French cruller was delicious!! No reason for me to give them less than 5 stars.
