    Salted Caramel iced coffee

I've been to Mundae Coffee twice now, and let me tell you--the iced salted caramel latte does not disappoint. It's one of those drinks you think about coming back for. The vibe is minimalist with a touch of eclectic--super clean, intentional, and just feels good to be in. You can tell the owners are hands-on and really care about the experience, which makes a difference. One thing I really appreciate is the simplicity. No overwhelming menu, no endless size options or substitutions--it's straightforward, elevated, and honestly... classy. Sometimes less really is more. If you're looking for a chill, easygoing coffee spot without all the extra fuss, this is definitely your place. Because there's nothing Mundae about Mundae Coffee.

Been here twice and both times I had a great experience. Shop is clean and the staff was friendly patient and very helpful . I ordered the Iced Salted Caramel both times and it tasted great both times. Will definitely be back.

Great spot for coffee. Workers were nice and helpful. Got an Ice Americano with to extra shots. Was good but let it sit in my frog over night and the next day it was very tasty. Also got the Mundae Aerocano which was usually made cold but they were nice enough to try to make it hot. It hit the spot and was very good. Inside was nice, they just need to make use of the cold fridges they were empty when I went by. But I'm guessing that is only because they have been open for a little while.

Organic/ in house made ingredients. I LOVE the salted caramel latte. They can make any latte as sweet or not sweet as you like. Soooo good!

Stopped by here on Saturday morning which I believe was their second day in business. The vibes were really chill and they had a nice set up. I noticed they used homemade syrups which is great. I had a banana latte and it was subtle and not too sweet. The strawberry and banana matcha latte were also great and not too sweet. The customer service was on point. Everyone from the cashier to the baristas were really welcoming and nice. It did take a while for the drinks to come out, but this is expected considering they are just opening. I will definitely be back to try more of their drinks. The espresso is smooth and perfectly strong.

My wife asked to go on a coffee date. Who am I to turn that down, especially when going somewhere new. Mundae has been open about a month and already has things figured out. I was sad when Lift in Uptown closed, but Mundae wins that H2H matchup hands down! Tried the Iced Banana Latte, Hot Honey Lavender Latte, Ganache Hot Chocolate and all are fire! We chatted with Nettie while she made matcha drinks from scratch, and she offered to make us a Strawberry Matcha to try it out - I've never much been a fan of Matcha but that drink was good enough for me to know that true Matcha lovers will absolutely enjoy Mundae's Matcha drinks. And Nettie mentioned that all syrups are made in-house. Always a plus, as this made the taste of each drink that much better, none of that over-sweet factory bottled stuff at Starbies. The music is at a reasonable level to still hold a conversation without raising your voice. The only possible (minor) downside is although there is some indoor seating, there is space for more, so hopefully now that they're open and business stays good, they can add another table or two. But this place is on point with atmosphere, quality, customer service - an all around good vibe!

I was excited to try this new coffee spot by my work, but it ended up being a letdown. I ordered the honey lavender latte and my friend got the banana latte. Unfortunately, neither of us enjoyed our drinks and we didn't even finish them. The shop itself is really cute and has a nice vibe, but the coffee just didn't hit for us. Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Obsessed with their Spanish latte ! I requested a reduction with the condensed milk, and used regular milk. Definitely recommend this cute new coffee shop ‍ They also have great music taste

Too milky for my personal preference but it has a lot of potential! The banana cream top was yummy flavor it did not taste artificial which I appreciate. The Barista was nice. Hopefully they adapt the ratios so I can give it another shot!

Netty was very nice and friendly. They make their own syrups (which I love). They only have one size. I ordered the iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and extra sweet and it tastes better than the vanilla latte from Starbucks. The matcha lavender honey latte was very good and sweet enough. I also ordered a Hot Spanish latte with oatmilk, it was subtle, not super strong (very smooth) and you can taste the cinnamon. My friends and I LOVVVED the drinks and will be going back.

Loved my Honey Lavender Matcha Latte. Not too sweet which I liked. Excited to see a busy coffee shop on this part of Painter. I walked from our office. Will definitely be back!

Tried the banana crème matcha latte. The taste of the matcha was good. It could have tasted a bit more like banana. I went on Saturday morning. It was pretty busy inside. I ordered and waited less than 10 mins for my drink. Parking in Whittier could be pretty bad and I was surprised I found parking near the coffee shop.

Just had a really great experience at the new coffee shop, MUNDAE in the city of Whittier. Got in my car and had to write a review, off the top. It's my second time having their coffee, I've tried a latte and today had a delicious pour over. Both times I was really impressed with the flavor profiles. This was my personal first visit inside the shop. Both of the staff working were friendly. Greeted me when I walked in and I really appreciated them asking me to taste the coffee and make sure it was to my liking. The energy in the room is nice, great place to sit and read or chat with a friend over a cup of coffee definitely coming back.

This business has everything you need. Quiet, friendly staff and great coffee. The place inside is very open and spacious. The Flavor combination is top tier. I live how it contains its bitter/strong coffee notes throughout the drinking experience. This latte also has a sweet flavor to it which is amazing when combined with the bitter coffee notes. Overall Bark coffee is a gem that everyone needs to try.

LFTD recently made an announcement that they are being evicted by their landlord and will close…read moredown this brick-and-mortar location by the end of this year (December 29th, 2025). A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).

That said, once we finally reached the window, the experience turned around. We ordered an iced banana horchata latte and a regular iced horchata latte, and both drinks were worth the wait. The banana version added a subtle, natural sweetness that made it feel a little more unique without being artificial or heavy. Even with the long line, the quality of the drinks stood out.
