Strawberry matcha
Loraine P.

Their strawberry matcha was missing that strong matcha flavor that I like. It blended well with the strawberry milk and it wasn't too sweet.

Super good matcha cold foam is like a custard check this place out. They also had a Fall pumpkin foam that was very good

Iced Big island latte

This coffee shop never disappoints. I've yet to try anything aside from the big island latte, but it's just so unbelievably good, I don't think I want to lol. Customer service is always on point, the staff are all very friendly and pleasant. They now have a small covered outdoor area with seating and tables, which really helps since the inside is a bit smaller. I don't come here often, but always look forward to my dogs annual shots since they are right next door :)

Saw the cute Rabbit sign and had to check this coffee shop out. There is a lot of seating inside the cafe as well as outside. The interior is decorated minimally but with cute decor all around the store. The staff were really kind and provided recommendations and their service was amazing! Ordered the following: - R&B Cold Brew Latte - Big Island Matcha - Mocha Latte The matcha in the Big Island Matcha was great, it was a little stronger but has a subtle sweetness to it. I really enjoyed it! The R&B Cold Brew Latte was smooth, not too sweet, and bitter in a good way. Also made a cute latte art on the Mocha Latte! I would like to come back and try their other drinks!

Checked out for the first time since I've always known about it or seen it! Was impressed by this place! We had their Strawberry matcha latte and big island latte! Both were solid! Would love to try out more of their drinks!

Rabbit & Bean Coffee has been on my local list for a while, and I finally made it happen. Needed a quick pick-me-up between interviews and went with the R&B Cold Brew with the cream top--no regrets. If you're into chicory-style coffee (think NOLA vibes), get it. Seriously, just get it. Smooth, bold, and that cream top takes it over the edge. The space is great too--plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. Friendly staff made the experience even better. Already planning to come back and post up with my laptop next time.

Big island- pretty good

Don't be depresso! Nice local spot. Kyoto cold brew was a good pick-me-up. Big Island was pretty good especially if looking for something with more sweetness than a big caffeine kick. They have a coffee that has 20grams of protein :O Pretty small parking lot. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and unfortunately, their pastries were completely wiped out.

Amber G.

Such a great little coffee spot. Coffee is smooth, delicious and lots of options. The pastries were all fantastic. Service was also great. Can't wait to try more!

Coffee time!

Why haven't I stopped in sooner? I have driven past this place a bunch for work, and finally decided I need to stop in and try something. The parking lot is really small, but I was able to find a spot easily enough. It is next to a strip of other businesses. When I walked inside, I was immediately greeted by the nicest lady behind the counter! I let her know it was my first time, and I asked 1) if they have decaf (they do!) and 2) what the Big Island Latte is. Coconut and macadamia...and she promised I would like it! So I ordered a decaf iced big island latte. She was right! The drink was great, refreshing and sort of a tropical flavor. I really appreciate when coffee shops offer decaf espresso. Not all do, but it really is nice for people like myself who just cannot handle full caffeinated coffee but still want to enjoy coffee drinks. The store itself is small and cozy. Lots of rustic natural wood and a chill vibe where you can enjoy your drink peacefully. There were a few tables to sit at but almost all were taken. It seems to be a popular spot! I am grateful Rabbit & Bean is not only close to work but also not far from home! I will definitely be back.

Stopped by Rabbit and Bean on Imperial Highway and immediately got the sense that this is a well established neighborhood coffee spot. It was busy, but not chaotic. The crowd felt like mostly local regulars who know their coffee, which is always a good sign. This is not a trendy or flashy café, but a clean, thoughtfully run independent shop that focuses on doing things right. The space is aesthetic and well maintained. Pastries looked great, though I was not hungry this time. I went with the espresso tonic, even though they also had a yuzu matcha tonic that I have been gravitating toward lately. I needed a quick caffeine bump, and the espresso tonic delivered. Bright, refreshing, and well balanced. My drink came out in under five minutes. We sat for a bit and watched the baristas work, and it was clear they know exactly what they are doing. Efficient movements, no wasted actions, and a calm, confident workflow behind the bar. This has officially made it onto my list of solid coffee spots. A reliable place for good coffee, quick service, and a neighborhood vibe that feels genuine rather than forced. Definitely coming back.

Big island matcha

Food/Drink 4/5: Ordered the big island matcha with less ice and a bagel with fig cream cheese. As you can see in the picture, my drink was not filled to capacity (I guess because I requested lite ice? But that wasn't shared with me when placing the order) and still had a lot of ice despite my request. The drink itself was very good though, not too sweet with the matcha flavor really enhanced by the flavors used. Their cream cheese appears to be made in house with large chunks of fig mixed in, and the flavors go surprisingly well together! Service 5/5: The barista who served us was really nice and helpful in making our selections, and our items were prepared very promptly! They also have a nice outdoor patio area with a decent amount of seating. Price $$: This cafe is definitely serving in the higher range of pricing, especially given the drink sizes. I thought my drink volume was a fluke until my friend ordered a hot latte and got the smallest cup I've ever seen from a local coffee shop. We also couldn't find pricing for their food/pastry items when ordering

Couple of coffee and bakery friends decide to catch up at a new cafe at La Habra. We both ordered big island latte large. It's really good and tasty. Service is good. Vibe is clean, warm, and American cafe shop. It's located at a small plaza, but it has a good outdoor patio seating area. There are enough tables inside - it feels very much like a local cafe with good selection of coffee. It's a good place to catch up, small business meeting, and just to enjoy coffee outside of home.

Omg! I just moved to the North OC area, and I'm happy to say I've found one of my new go-to coffee…read moreshop study spots in the area! :) I'm currently studying for a big exam, and it's been surprisingly challenging finding coffee shops to study at with the beautiful, modern, aesthetic ambience that makes me happy, without feeling anxious there won't be enough seats or space when I get there, esp since I have to drive a decent amount to get to cafes. I've been getting a little stir crazy at home and finally making the trek here was so worth it-- I felt more motivated than ever to get work done with a tasty treat. I'm not sure if it's because CSUF just started this week, or because I came on a Friday morning, but it was really spacious and open with tons of outlets (almost at each table). Not sure how other days are, but I'd love to bring my study group friends here in the future, since it's so hard to find places with enough space for study groups! Not to mention the clean bathroom haha and good wifi haha The staff here is also incredibly sweet and friendly, making it a comfortable and good experience. Because it was my first time, I asked the barista about her recommendation, and she also asked my general preferences to cater to my taste, and I ended up with a seasonal Birthday Cake Americano at half sweetness (since I don't have much of a sweet tooth). It was perfect for me! I don't usually get Americanos and have a sensitive stomach rn, but it was delicious and kind on my stomach lol. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, and maybe it could've been heated up a little more, but I did wait a bit to eat it, so it was no big deal. The other barista was also so sweet in answering my many questions haha The only struggle as others have mentioned is the parking - I ended up parking at the retail parking nearby, which had plenty of spots but can get pretty pricey, and it sounds like you can park in the areas others have mentioned still (like The Hub I guess has "New Here" parking spots or the employee parking spots?), so I'll need to look more next time. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Also since it is at the first floor of an apartment in a college town, there will be students going in and out, so just be prepared for that haha -- reminded me of dorm days, and I'm glad students have a spot like this :) Overall, the yummy coffee, amazing vibe and beautiful ambiance, especially as a study spot, alongside the kind and comfortable service has been just what I've been looking for in a coffee shop around here, and I'm excited to return! Thank you New Here!

Parking J's advertised on signs to be located in the parking garage next door. Upon driving inside, there are only TWO designated parking spots for the coffee shop; all other spots are for employees and assigned spacing. This put a damper on our visit to this place. Located a few blocks away from CSUF, this coffee shop is connected with an apartment building for CSUF students. There is ample space to study, numerous outlets, and plenty of chairs inside the shop. The windows are very big, letting in a tremendous amount of lighting. This is an ideal study space, which I wish I had when I went to this campus years ago. The interior design is very lovely and aesthetically pleasing. We ordered at the counter where one barista was located. They had about seven seasonal drinks, a consistent menu, and a window of pastries. I opted for their pumpkin vanilla americano and my fiancé got their Study Buddy. You can taste the coffee in both drinks. The study buddy has oat milk, hints of lavender, and the strong taste of honey. The pumpkin vanilla americano was quite sweet - the americano gives it the strong coffee taste, but the sweetness is quite overpowering. I don't think we'd be back to visit since parking is quite difficult. The barista wasn't too welcoming and there was hardly anyone inside. Their coffee is decent, but nothing I'd fight to find parking for. The interior, again, is very lovely and fantastic for students to study in. Thanks for having us!

When I walked in, there was no greeting at all. I only had a simple order, but two employees spent a lot of time chatting while making drinks, and it took much longer than expected. As usual, I ordered two Iced Vanilla Lattes and a strawberry milk for my child. The strawberry milk was served in a paper cup. When I tasted it, it wasn't cold, so I politely asked if it could be transferred to a clear to-go cup with ice. The staff said they couldn't provide a clear cup with ice because of store policy. Honestly, I was surprised by the response. It was such a simple request, and I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. A little flexibility and customer service would have gone a long way. I visit coffee shops almost every day, and if you look at my reviews, you'll see that I'm usually very generous and understanding when it comes to coffee shops. However, today's experience was by far one of the most disappointing I've had. I've enjoyed this place for a long time, which makes this visit even more unfortunate.

Ambiance/Service (4/5): Tastefully decorated, it's got Asian boho meets MC modern feel to it. It's brightly lit inside with soft white lamps and decent seating for larger and smaller groups. Layout is surprisingly done in a way where it doesn't feel overly cramped even if most seats are filled out. Service is okay. You order at a kiosk and they call your name when the order is up. Not too much interaction or sight of the workers outside of them dropping off the drinks and/or calling out names. Drinks (4/5): Their drinks are pretty good and scratch the itch for some decent sweet treat. I've had their strawberry snow and tropical snow (strawberry/lychee) on separate occasions with boba. Yes, the drinks are a bit pricier than other places, but the ingredients taste pretty fresh and not overly sweet or artificial. The boba is admittedly not my favorite; it comes out a little too soft and slightly gummy without the nice bounce texture, but the coldness of my drinks make it slightly more pleasant after it cools and hardens a bit. Overall, this is a decent place to get a fix when you're craving a decent drink.

Anyway, I ordered the passionfruit tea, and the basil seeds are a bonus. Because it's cheaper than other places, I thought the cup might be smaller. It's a standard size, and the packaging is so cute! I like the foil lid. Some minor things though. I think they have some fake plants indoors, and it would be neat if they were real.
