I like shops that bear my name. Haha. The "Momo" in their name was what got us in the doors. ;-D The drinks were surprisingly delicious. We tried their new specials - Bee Peachy & Itchy Peachy. They were fruity, refreshing and not overly sweet. The Itchy Peachy is a slush and it was yummy. I think there's cheese foam in it that makes it taste more like a creamy dessert, which is great. The shop is small so there's a not a lot of space to hang around in or to wait for your drinks. It's also in a busy plaza, so expect traffic and a lack of parking.
We ordered the taro milk tea and the gyokuro milk tea with boba. The taro milk tea had taro paste inside the drink and is a hit if you love taro! The taro flavor was super strong. The gyokuro milk tea was decent. It's light. The tea flavor isn't really strong but it's not bad. Personally, I prefer my milk teas with a strong tea flavor. Service was great! The cashier was kind and welcoming. There is minimal seating inside the store. Plenty of parking out in front but that lot gets crowded quickly.
Having visited the Chino Hills OMOMO, I had to check this out since I was in the area. Located in a popular plaza next to Craig Regional Park and Brea Mall, OMOMO finds itself in a super busy area where traffic is pretty much heavy all day as they share same plaza with In-N-Out and Popping Yolk. First impressions is that this shop is a bit more spacious than the Chino Hills one, they got some seating but not too many, mainly just for waiting for your order. Most people just stand around the wall or outside while they wait for their drinks. Staff here is friendly and quick. They get their drinks out pretty quickly even though they're busy most of the time. My go to drinks at OMOMO is always their signature "OMOMO Matcha" and their Osmanthus Oolong. Personally, if you love matcha, their signature is a must try. Very refreshing, not too sweet with a sugar adjustment (50%) and on top of that, their boba is always easy to chew and very tasty. With over 50+ visits to OMOMO, my wife and I never had a bad experience with any drink.
Sooo saddd the seasonal Pineapple Alice is gone..you don't even know!!! I'm legit crying inside, cuz I was seriously addicted to that drink..so when I stopped by today & found out, I had to find another yummy substitute. *sigh & tear* I was in a fruity & refreshing mood, so I opt'd to finally try the strawberry tornado fruit tea. I've been so hesitant in the past, cuz I didn't know how'd I feel about the cheese foam, but shockingly..to my surprise. I LOVED IT! Not the same Pineapple Alice LOVE, but it will do, for days I'm leaning more fruity than matcha. The blended smoothie made of fresh strawberries is sooo refreshing and being swirled w/ their cheese foam and strawberry bits, it somehow just all works & balances. I get 80% sugar level, which is perfect and not overly sweet, since it is a smoothie and the blended ice will already water-down the sweetness. Just trust. Heads up, it's a non-caffeinated drink, but does contain dairy, for those who are lactose-intolerant..be warned. Lol A total RxFoodie recommend & must-try!!!
Love going to this location because the line isn't out the door. I'm so exciting their summer drink itchy peachy is back. So good and refreshing !
OMOMO Tea Shoppe was a disappointment sadly. The menu doesn't offer the best options but they do have a variety of different mixtures. They lack providing better descriptions of drinks for new customers and the options are boring. There were zero pastries or food options to pair with your drink. It was only a small drink menu. The customer service was good! The young lady at the counter was very kind and did her best to explain different sweetness and bitterness levels but she couldn't really describe the drinks and recommend anything based on comparisons with what is more popular. As for ambiance it was empty and had no customers. There were no tables to sit and enjoy your drink. So I think people prefer to go to other boba shops that offer at least a small seating area with a table. That was disappointing to see when I walked in. As for flavor... my drink tasted powdery and warm. The boba pearls were a bit stale. I wont be coming back. There are plenty of other boba locations that offer much higher quality drinks and the price point is exactly the same. Overall I'll give a 2/5 star for cleanliness and because the customer service was good.
Boba texture good, tea quality good, service good - but the parking lot & the plaza that it's located in = absolutely atrocious. Bad enough to make me not want to go out of my way to get boba - even if I'm craving it. I really wonder how much more business this shop would get if they relocated to another area with plentiful parking and maybe even creating a drive thru option.
HOLY ! This might actually be the first boba establishment whose boba justifies the 20-25 minute wait. I got the Uji green milk tea creamomo,50% sweet, and it was perfect. The sweetness from the honey boba coupled with the creaminess of the drink is pure bliss. I would 100% be willing to wait again in line for this spot. I think my next try will be the matcha creamomo. There was no seating available so it's obvious this is a grab and go spot, but there are lots of places nearby to walk around and enjoy .

I would definitely come back for this drink.
Love the shorter lines here compared to Irvine and Chino. The teas and strong and aromatic, but drinks are very sweet. Oolong MT was great, I ordered with 50% sweet with aloe vera and it's perfect.
Okay the aesthetic of this boba shop is soooo pretty. It's giving that minimalist lux vibe. We are coming from Fresno,Ca and came to visit family from Orange County. First time here and I ordered their Osmanthus milk tea. Super creamy, full of flavor, lovely essence of the Osmanthus flower. It was a very good drink. I have had may Osmanthus milk tea before and most are great, the one here from OMOMO is one of my top favs for sure. Service was quick and efficient. There is no indoor seating other than a bench in the very front of the store. This is mainly an order to-go boba place. Gotta check this boba shop if you haven't, you won't be disappointed.
I love their matcha cortado milk tea and their soft and bouncy bobas! Shorter line compared to Chino Hills location.
Parking in the strip mall. Ordered at the counter. Service super fast. Drink was excellent. Right level of sweetness. Boba had great texture. Got the jasmine milk tea. Saw the cups full of fresh fruit! Recommend.

I'm obsessed with their peachmomo. I think they changed the recipe because the color looks different. Maybe a different variety of peaches but it's still amazing. It's creamy and fruity and perfectly sweet and full of real peaches. I wait every season for this drink. read more

I go to the Irvine Omomo whenever I'm in the area and happened to pass by this location. The layout of this store is really weird where the front is blocked by multiple pillars. Anyways, I ordered a strawberry green tea drink and an avocado slushie. My drinks came out not as cold as they usually are and it was kind of watery. Not sure what went wrong with the process of making my drinks but it was disappointing. Maybe because they're rushed with the line going out the door but I guess I'll stick with just going to the Irvine location. read more
Etched in the space of a busy shopping center where In-N-Out and Fogo de Chao take of most of the eyesight, you'll find this lovely tea shoppe, with a few locations around Southern California to my understanding. They play well with the minimal and warm colors, emphasizing on the wood decorations and design. It feels open, spacious, and inviting for a smaller size of business space. There wasn't a line when I got in, but I've heard on busy days they can get pretty backed up with lots of people. Nonetheless their menu is straight forward and the people at the front are extremely knowledgeable and helpful for any indecisive people! I got the osmanthus and the crème brûlée Thai milk tea, both of which were sweetened just right, not too sweet but it definitely didn't lack. The price is comparable with other tea and boba houses, but I do enjoy Omomo's quality and their teas that you can't normally find in most other mainstream tea shoppes. read more

I typically don't get OMOMO because I've always found their drinks to be too sweet, but their milk teas are so good! I got 75% sweetness and I thought it was perfect. Service was quick and efficient. I wish there was seating inside especially because parking in the plaza can be tricky with how busy it is. As a result, we had to drink in my car LOL. All OMOMOs are like this, so that's just something to keep in mind if you're getting boba here. Inside, it is so nice and the decor is very aesthetic. When we went, there was a Christmas tree and I thought the interior was very modern. read more

I think omomo is ok, but I don't get the hype. The Brea location is in the in n out plaza across from the mall. The parking lot is kind of crowded. The line is long but it moves at a good speed. I got the watermelon green tea and my husband got the oolong super lemon. The watermelon green tea is ok, at 25% sweet it was good. They use fresh watermelon which is nice. The oolong super lemon is ok too. It's a punch of lemon and an oolong aftertaste. I thought the drinks were ok but wasn't mind blowing. Maybe their speciality ones are better since I saw a bunch of people ordering the matcha ones. read more
Review 81/365 Day Challenge My 1st time having Omomo Tea Shoppe was probably 7 years ago in their Irvine location. Than there was a huge line for it and looks like the hype hasn't died down. Finally made my way over to one near my city of residence, Brea Sunday evening with my cousin n his wife visiting along w my nephew. We were excited to try. What we ordered ~ Omomo Matcha is a blended drink. I asked for 50% sweetness. With it being 50% sweet, it's still sweet per my 8 year old daughter. So definitely recommend adjusting the sweet level. I can't imagine it being 100% sweet. Really great matcha cold drink for a hot day. ~ itchy peachy is good also. ~ Jasmine Green tea The boba is top notch chewy good. The brown sugar boba has a sweet taste to it Agar boba is good n crunch to it. We love agar boba There's no indoor seating nor outside. It's decorative is simple modern vibe. Associates were nice n even though there was a line. We got our drinks in a good timely manner, Located in the same plaza as Fogo De Chao, in n out n next to Do Coffee shop. Parking can be a bit hard to find since it's a pretty busy plaza. Just have to be patent. It's always someone leaving. Bottom Line Up Front: If you want an Asian-American twist on Taiwanese boba, and don't mind paying a little extra, this is the tea shop for you. The Menu: Omomo offers 6 different types of beverages: fresh teas, milk teas, fruit teas, coffees, specials, and its trademark Creamomo. What's a Creamomo? It's a tea drink with cheese foam or tiramisu foam on top. If you're a coffee lover, don't get the coffee here. But if you're into dessert drinks, the Creamomos, specials, or milk teas will float your boat. My Selection: I've been to this shop a few times, but this review will focus on our last two drinks: My wife got the Ceylon Creamomo and I got the Wicked (which is a seasonal drink inspired by the movie and is a combo of matcha and ube). She loved her drink and gave it a 10 out of 10. While I prefer drinking matcha by itself, traditionally, and find that it tastes odd when mixed with sugar or other flavors, I actually enjoyed my drink. I give it a solid 7 out of 10. The Service: The entire staff was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Grade A+. The Location: This location of Omomo is located in a decent sized strip mall shared with In-N-Out and across the street from Brea Mall. That double whammy can make the traffic a bit messy during peak weekend hours. Fortunately, the area is safe and clean. Inside, the shop is pretty narrow and there are no tables or chairs -- clearly not a hangout spot, which is a bummer if you like to chill with friends while sipping on your drink. The Prices: Another con. The cheapest drink is $4.50, while the most expensive is $7.50. Throw in add-ons like brown sugar boba or taro paste and your single drink can cost almost $10. The Conclusion: If you want your boba drink to be more like a dairy-filled dessert, and can afford the premium prices, then Omomo is your jam. But if you prefer to eat your desserts and not drink them, then just say "Oh no no." If you're somewhere in between, you'll probably find a drink from their large menu that will satisfy your sweet tooth. read more
Omomo has very high quality tea, and very reasonable prices. I've balked at drinks going over $7 or $8, but a solid milk tea at Omomo is still $5.50 or $6. I was craving some milk tea and found that Omomo was nearby. The plaza has some spots right in front, but on the weekends can be busy with many other nearby shops. Inside there are some appealing columns, that break up the space around the pick up counter. The order register is in the back, and the line of four people was quickly worked through. The order process was seamless and quick, even though there's 30+ items on the menu and everyone has multiple customizations. We waited maybe 4 minutes to get two drinks. The Magnolia Milk Tea was extremely fragrant, a clear floral aroma and taste, and balanced against the tannins in the green tea. The first few sips were so refreshing we went back in to get another. I thought the 30% sweetness was just the right level, a hint of sweetness but still the magnolia was the dominant taste. We also got a 0%, though I find this to have a slight bitterness from the green tea. The second drink we tried was the Taro Paste Fresh Milk. The item normally comes with blended ice but we were able to get it without ice, so it was milk and taro paste. Here no sweetness was needed and this let the taro paste shine as the sole flavor. And this is no caffeinated so children can have it too. read more

Jasmine creamomo- very delicious and creamy, comes with foam topping Oreo Brulee green tea- light matcha taste with a creamy base.. Oreo is a nice sweet addition Camo Thai- thick, creamy, smooth and yummy!!! Very good for whoever likes Thai tea. Creeeammmy dranks. Absolutely aesthetic looking drinks with good taste! Prepare for long waits. Small interior. When we asked the cashier for suggestions he wasn't too enthusiastic and just recommended a jasmine green tea. Good thing we opted for the special drinks. read more
Matcha drinks are high quality, but a bit too thick for me. I visited OMOMO tea after having it bookmarked for the longest time. There were a few people standing outside the shop before opening. I parked in the shared lot, which was busy due to In-n-Out, I assume. I was the 3rd customer in line and my drinks came out in 5-10 minutes. I ordered the Omomo Matcha which was kind of heavy. It had matcha with layers of cream in between, which made it feel like a matcha tiramisu cake in a cup. The matcha was strong and a bit gritty. The other drink I ordered was their seasonal Itchy Peachy. This was my favorite of the two, but I probably would have asked for it without cheese foam. read more
I love OMOMO and it's large variety of drinks, especially their Creamomo. It's great for those who enjoy their drink with cheese or tiramisu foam. I got their Black Jade Milk Tea and the tea flavor is so rich, with a hint of bitterness that isn't too overpowering. My sister got the Strawberry Tornado which is refreshing with yummy strawberry bits. The service was amazing and they are very generous with adjustments made to your drink. The drinks come out very fast too! The only downside is that there's nowhere to sit inside, so it is really meant to be a place to get a quick drink and leave. The inside, however, is very clean. Came to Omomo for one thing: Itchy Peachy. It's refreshing, tart, and a staple drink for every summer. Other than that, their menu is relatively simple and easy; but they have different twists on certain drinks. Their matcha collection is amazing, and a personal favorite is the Avocado Smash. Parking was simple and in a shared plaza. Service was fast and friendly. Interior had no seating. Drinks were the best price to quality ratio, as expected of Omomo. read more

Omomo has been a staple in my go to boba spots for years. Glad to see that they've been expanding their presence across OC, they deserve it! Parking here is a bit of a struggle as the lot is usually packed. This is one of their newer stores, so the inside is nice and clean. I haven't been to an Omomo without a line, so be prepared to wait a bit. The service is always super friendly. My go to is the Oolong Milk Tea with Tiramisu foam and boba. Oolong Milk Tea 10/10 - I get this everytime coming to Omomo without fail. I love the deep flavor of their oolong tea while still being sweet. The game changer for me is the tiramisu foam. Adds a nice creaminess to the drink and gives it more of a chocolate oolong flavor. Boba is cooked well as it's nice and bouncy with good amount of sweetness. This is for sure on the sweeter side so I would recommend going 30 or 50 percent sweet. One thing I can say about Omomo after having visited all of their locations is that they continue to remain consistent in terms of quality across all locations. I love milk tea, but I'm pretty picky--and I always recommend Omomo Tea Shop. It's one of my favorite spots. I love, love, love their milk ith cheese foam. Unfortunately, every location I've checked--whether in Irvine, Mission Viejo, or Brea--has been out of it lately. Today, I tried the Strawberry Tornado with brown sugar boba for the first time, and I have to say, I'm not a fan. It might be because I ordered it at 30% sweetness, but the strawberry flavor just didn't hit--it tasted a bit off, maybe due to the type of strawberries used. For an $8 drink, I expected something more satisfying, so I probably wouldn't order it again. That said, their Camel Thai Milk Tea and Ceylon Milk Tea are always solid and consistent. But I will say that the staff are very very understanding. And since strawberries are not in season or maybe the batch they got does not give that strong strawberry flavor they were able to exchange it for me. read more
OMOMO takes tea to the next level with creative blends, high-quality ingredients, and beautiful presentation. Every drink feels thoughtfully crafted with purity, simplicity, and flavor in mind and you can taste the difference. I ordered the Omomo Matcha their signature ice-blended drink made with ceremonial matcha and house milk, served in a matcha brûlée cup and it was SO good. Creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The parking can be crazy here, lucky we got the 15 min parking spot. The service is quick, friendly, and fast. read more
There are a lot of boba places in the area but I'm glad we decided to try this place out. The hubs was craving something blended and I was craving something without caffeine. This place had a good selection and we ended up getting two good drinks - hubs got a strawberry blended drink and I got avocado. So good. read more
