Omomo is easily one of the best boba spots I've been to. Ever since moving to SoCal for college, I've been coming here nonstop, especially since it's conveniently close to Ranch 99, which makes it the perfect stop after grocery runs. I got the Magnolia Matcha, and the worker helping me was really nice and helpful. I asked if it was sweet, and he said it is, but suggested lowering the sugar level since my tolerance for sweetness is pretty low. I ended up getting it at 75% sweetness, and it was just right, which I really appreciated. The place itself is clean but on the smaller side, with not a lot of seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. It's definitely a popular place, especially with college students, probably because of how convenient the location is next to an Asian market. White peach Creamomo 7/10 It's a white peach with oolong tea and topped with foam of your choice ( tiramisu or cheese foam). Light and creamy with an aftertaste of peach. Cheese foam is nice and not too thick . Wish there's a more peach taste tho. Magnoila Green tea 6/10 Lightly floral tea with green tea. The tea is steeped for prob too long so there's a taste of bitterness even with 50% sugar and less ice. Small waiting space but marble/concrete interior aesthetic which is cute and there's only a bench to sit down. Everything is tasty and well-prepared, but I recommend getting the Mango Tornado and Omomo Matcha with either brown sugar boba or agar boba! The girl who took my order wasn't very friendly. She barely said 2 words to me and didn't even bother to smile. The girl who handed me my drinks, however, was a lot nicer. The interior is kind of small, and there are a couple of tables to stand at while you wait for your drink. Went to Omomo and got the Omomo matcha half sweet, loved it as the matcha was nicely bitter and very green with the perfect amount of sweetness. My only small complaint is that I wish it was blended a bit more since some parts of the drink were icy. The inside is pretty small with limited seating, but there was no line when I went. Service was friendly and parking was easy. I'd definitely come back. They have many locations, including two in Irvine, but those usually have a long wait, so this location was a nice experience overall. read more

Going to Omomo is a MUST when I am in or nearby Chino Hills. Their drinks are just that good. My husband and I agree that the best drinks here are the Omomo Matcha and Osmanthus Milk Tea. The tea quality is top tier. Even the cups are good quality and decently sized. For toppings, I would recommend adding brown sugar boba or caramel pudding. Both are delicious and would mix well with any drink. Considering how popular this place seems, I am surprised that service has always been quick and speedy. Even when they appear to be busy, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my drinks. It's also great that they have a reward system, which can be signed up for in store. Revisited this shop with my wife on a lunch date. What can I say, drinks here are top notch. Every time I've visited, I've always left with a refreshing drink. Cups are well made, sturdy & cute design as always. One thing I didn't notice was their rewards program. Highly recommended if you visit often as you can get a free drink by using accumulated points per order. 1/25/25 All my friends in the LA area hyped up Omomo so it's been on my bucket list for years. Detoured a bit to come and it was well worth it. Great location with ample parking in a plaza. Line gets long, outside the door, which I expected. Their signature drinks are more in the blended category, though their tea isn't bad either. Omomo Matcha - smooth, creamy, and delicious. This is one of their top signature drinks and is a simple matcha and milk blend but is super flavorful. Highly recommend. Matcha Cortado Creamomo - if an ice blend is too much, this one is a cleaner, simpler matcha milk tea. On top is a delicious crema to add some savory, sweet delight. Matcha was a bit more present here as all the sugary goodness isn't blended in by default. Oreo Brulee Green Tea - honestly as with most Oreo combos, the chocolate delight takes over. Here, it masks the green tea. Very dessert-like drink (obviously) so adjustments don't really change much. read more

One of my go-to boba chains, the quality is just so good! In this visit, I got the Camo Thai and it was tasty! I'm a big fan of creamy drinks, so this was right up my alley. Everything was not too sweet which I liked. If I have to give one critique, I would've preferred my drink to be colder, but that could be a preferential thing. I've only been to the Irvine locations and Brea location, which is much more spacious and better designed. COCO PINE (Seasonal) 80% sweet - Wanted something tropical, so thought I'd order this. Looked good in pictures only. Overly sweet pineapple slushie drink. The coconut cream did taste like coconut but it did not mix well with the whole drink, as the lid was shut tightly, so you can only insert a straw to drink. The straw did not help stir in the coconut whipped cream either. Overall a disappointment! There were large pineapple chunks at the bottom, which I was aware of from the pics, thought the pineapple chunks were better than the drink itself. Please skip this drink! Not worth it! MATCHA CORTADO 80% sweet I have had this before, a couple of times, yet today, it didn't taste quite the same. Usually it's a creamomo for me, but this time I kept it simple with no other additions. The creamomo definitely makes a huge difference in the overall flavor and taste. Yes, the matcha flavor was strong, which I wanted, but I thought that there needed to be something there. Maybe I could have added more sweetness. Also, the drink was less cooler than the pineapple drink, so it felt very odd in overall execution of drink. Sadly, both drinks were disappointments! I've been to this Omomo tea shoppe probably like 3-4 times and the drinks come out great almost every time. My favorite drink is their Omomo matcha because it's creamy, has a strong matcha taste, and is overall very tasty. Be warned though, I made the mistake of drinking it in the late afternoon and wasn't able to sleep because of all the caffeine! One thing I will say is that every single time I've been to this location, the line is always out the door. The last time I went, I waited in line for about 40 minutes before I was able to order, and then waited another 10 minutes for my drink. Bottom Line Up Front: If you love dessert drinks and can afford the premium prices, then Omomo is your jam. But if you prefer to eat your desserts and not drink them, then just say "Oh no no." If you're somewhere in between, you'll probably find a drink from their large menu that will satisfy your sweet tooth. The Menu: Omomo offers different categories of beverages: fresh teas, milk teas, fruit teas, coffees, specials, and its trademark Creamomo. What's a Creamomo? It's a tea drink with cheese foam or tiramisu foam on top. If you're a coffee lover, don't get the coffee here. But if you're into dessert drinks, the Creamomos, specials, or milk teas will float your boat. My Take: My wife loves Omomo and its Creamomos, but I'm not a fan of thick drinks that aren't milkshakes. However, I've had the Ceylon Milk Team Creamomo and Oreo Brulee Green Tea Creamomo and they were good--not amazing mind you, but good. Would I have an Oreo milkshake and a traditional iced green tea separately? Yes. But did I enjoy these Creamomos? Yes. The Service: The entire staff was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Grade A+. The Location: This location of Omomo is located in a large strip mall shared with a Ranch 99 grocery store. That can make the traffic a bit messy during peak and weekend hours. Inside, the shop is very small. Plus, there are only two small tables with stools -- all of which are bolted into the floor. To make matters worse, the owner has marked these off with signs that say "Do Not Use." At first I thought they were leftover signs from the pandemic, but nope, they don't want anyone using the tables; they want to be a to-go place only. This is a double whammy: 1) You can't use the tables, making you feel unwelcome and 2) the tables and chairs block the path to the front counter. Given how small the shop is and how there is no rope, railing, or taped pathway to direct people where to stand, this leads to awkward inefficient lines inside the store and a long line out the door. It makes me not want to visit this shop and go to a different location. The Prices: Another con. The cheapest drink is $4.50, while the most expensive is $7.50. Throw in add-ons like brown sugar boba or taro paste and your single drink can cost almost $10. The Conclusion: If you want an Asian-American twist on Taiwanese boba, don't mind paying a little extra, and don't want a hangout spot, this is the tea shop for you. read more

Long story short- Be careful of their cups breaking/cracking on you. Uji Matcha Milk Tea here is not great, just a cup of sugar with no matcha depth even though they use ceremonial grade matcha. Personally I think the quality and service have went down hill. Wanted to have something nostalgic as I use to frequent this location and bear the long wait. No wait on a Monday evening which was great for me. I've been on a matcha kick lately. Ordered 2 Uji Matcha Milk Tea and was so excited to try them at home. However, that excitement quickly turned sour. The second I got home I placed my order on the table. And the entire bottom of one of the cups came UNDONE.. Yes, undone. The entire bottom circle just came off.. (photos attached) I was hesitant to called Omomo to inform them of what happened as they were about to close up at 8:47pm today 4/28/25. But I didn't want another guest to experience this. One of their female staff answered with just "hello" I had to confirm myself if I had reached Omomo's number since the greeting was just "hello?" I told her that when we placed the cup on the table the entire bottom circle of the cup came off. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe their shipment of cups was faulty to maybe check them before using/sending orders out. She told me "that happens all the time when people slam the cups down. Our cups are sturdy and that usually doesn't happen." That response really rubbed me the wrong way.. I did not slam my cup down, why would I do that. And if their cups are sturdy why did the entire bottom come off. They're aware that their cups are breaking on their guest but continue to use the same type of cup? After the small exchange of bringing this to her attention I asked for her name and she paused for a few seconds and responded with "uh my name is Josh." I don't quite believe this with the way she responded but names are quite non-binary now a days. I'm disappointed in the service received. **Update** Called back today 4/29/25 at 1:52pm and spoke to shift lead, Sonyia. She had a much positive attitude and apologized for the broken cup. She did confirm that sometimes the cups being slammed down a few times will result in broken cups especially blended drinks.. My drink wasn't blended and she said it was odd. Was getting Marugame next door and stumbled upon OMOMO! It was a random Tuesday so there was no line. I usually get the Oreo brûlée matcha which is always solid 10/10. I see they had specials so I decided to try their new drinks the crimson sunset. It's a strawberry and watermelon slushy base with coconut tofu and coconut cheese foam. I ordered it 70% sweet. The slushy was a perfect mix of strawberry and watermelon and wasn't overly sweet. The coconut cheese foam was on top so I mixed it in and it paired well. I really enjoyed the coconut tofu topping. It was silky and easy to drink through a straw. I would like to add that topping to other drinks! I would rate the crimson sunset 9.8/10! The service was fast and my barista was friendly. I love Omomo and the omomo matcha with 0% or 30% sugar is amazing. I love the creme brûlée they mix into it. If you like your drinks sweeter, definitely get it with 50% or more. The Thai tea less sweet is also phenomenal. Honestly, you can't really go wrong with any of the drinks you order. I will say, if you go during peak hours, you may find a line out the door. Overall Experience: Excellent experience with excellent Boba. Drinks: I got the OMOMO MATCHA and it was very good! I tried boba drinks in Japan and thought this was very comparable. Probably due to the sugar haha but the drink is very tasty and well prepared. This is the drink that they are known for so I recommend trying this one. Portion Size: Solid size and price. Service: Server was helpful and recommended the Matcha drink over the avocado drink which I was interested in - overall it was a great recommendation. Ambiance: No places to sit but it's a quick grab and go type of boba shop. Presentation: Well prepared and looks great.
