My friend and I ordered the Teddy Graham Latte. It was good, though not quite as flavorful as I expected. I'd still be interested in coming back to try some of their other drinks. The staff was friendly and accommodating. One of my drinks wasn't initially made because part of the receipt had been cut off, but they were very apologetic and prepared it right away. This coffee shop is very spacious and welcoming, and I loved all the plants throughout the space. A big plus is that they make their syrups in house, which you can definitely taste. I ordered the cinnamon honey latte and it was really good. Customer service was okay overall, but the drink pick up process could use some improvement. There were a few people waiting, and I noticed our drinks sitting on the counter for a bit. Eventually, an employee just called out "lattes" without specifying the type or a name, which made things a little confusing. I was in the area and looking for a caffeine pick-me-up. Canabru was the perfect spot and has been on my bookmarks for a while. PARKING: Free in the plaza it's located in. SPANISH LATTE: I got this iced and it's a latte that comes with condensed milk and cinnamon. We got it with a little less sweet and less ice. Perfection and would get this again. TEDDY BEAR LATTE: My husband got this and it comes with brown sugar and cinnamon. Tasted exactly as you would expect and we would get this again as well. Compared to other places I've been to, which often feel rushed and overwhelming, this place felt completely different. I truly loved the way I was greeted -- the young lady at the register was so friendly and helpful. My drink was the Teddy Graham, and I have to say it was made just right. Not to mention, I was asked how it was, which is something most coffee shops don't bother to do after payment. I truly appreciated the way I was treated here. I also asked the barista for recommendations for the next time I come, and he (Christopher) said I have to try the blueberry -- one of his favorites. Being here for the first time, I was definitely hesitant, but they made me feel comfortable and completely welcomed. I can't wait to come back for a coffee date with my girls or my husband. The Drink: I got the Basic Spaniard, which is coffee with caramel, condensed milk, and cocoa. I wanted a latte that was robust and sweet but not too sweet. This drink delivered. The Price: Like most coffee shops these days, Canabru is charging slightly higher prices for lattes and specialty drinks than your average cafes. Not ideal for people counting their pennies, but I suppose it's to be expected in this post-pandemic economy. The Service: My server was fast, polite, and knowledgeable. In fact, he recommended the Basic Spaniard, an excellent suggestion based on a handful of questions. The Setting: This café is located in a strip mall in the same parking lot as a Home Depot, but it's tucked behind the other locations; you can't see it from the lot. But once you walk in, you'll find a cool little hangout spot with a casual vibe and plenty of seats to study or hang out. The Conclusion: I didn't get a chance to try their food or hang out. Decided to come get my Sunday coffee and get my reading time in at a new coffee shop. First time here and it's a pretty cool coffee shop. I got the Chicken Melt Sandwich as well as their Teddy Graham Hot Latte. CHICKEN MELT: I liked it. Surprisingly good and tasty. It's not whole chicken breast but rather sliced deli chicken. The bread was sourdough so that's a plus. Had a little spice to it which I liked. Wish it came with a small side of something. TEDDY GRAHAM LATTE: Loved it. Perfect balance of coffee, strength and sweetness. Their pastries in my opinion are way too overpriced. $4.00 for a small chocolate chip cookie with Nutella inside. The ambience here is cool. Lots of people in here on their computers studying, reading and chatting. Lots of seating but every seat is taken. Definitely a popping coffee shop with a fair amount of selections of coffee, food and baked goods. If you're looking for a small, quiet and low-key coffee shop with not that many people and your claustrophobic then this ISN'T the coffee shop for you. If you want one with lots of seating and are ok with being close to a lot of people in proximity then you'll like this coffee shop. This is one of the coolest coffee shops in the area hands down. The drinks are great but I think what really makes this place unique is their bakery and sweet treats! One of the baristas let me know that everything is made fresh daily. They have everything from danishes to açaí bowls to every type of fudge your brain can come up with. I also really like this place because everytime I come, if I want to make some adjustments to a drink or don't see exactly what I want on the menu- whoever is there is willing to make customizations or suggestions and make the drink wonderfully. It's normally pretty crowded when I come- with people having coffee dates or working on their laptops, but they also have a few small tables outside. read more

They have the classic drinks, of course, but they have an entire section of "trademark" drinks so I ordered the Teddy Graham, which features honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon. The drink sounds like it's going to be super sweet with two types of sugar but it balanced out the espresso nicely. They also put a generous amount of cinnamon so I loved that. First time I visited the coffee was ok. Lattes with honey are a hit or miss depending on the place and I wasn't swayed with this one. I got the teddy graham because I love brown sugar and honey but the honey overpowered and it didn't taste well. But I went again and got a different drink, the teddy bear and it was better! I went another day and got a seasonal drink (I forgot the name it had white chocolate) and the espresso was very sour and the foam was not thick at all, it was just milk that instantly came down. For food I always get the chicken panini and it never disappoints! 10/10 for that Service is ok, depends on the barista. The guy barista is always nice. The ambiance is very chill and modern. I pulled up to a HUGE parking lot where I immediately found a spot, before walking into an alleyway that leads me to the Canabru Coffee entrance on the left. I was greeted right away upon entering, by two baristas behind the counter. They have an extensive selection of different types of coffee and expresso, and the ladies were super kind and patient to allow an indecisive me to choose between a tea or a coffee. I finally settled on an iced-tea with cream and lavender syrup, which tasted AMAZING! The interior is very clean and cozy. There are lots of different types of seating available, including a couch. Found this place while driving by the area on a weekday at night time. Very nice and cozy on the inside, plenty of chairs and tables. Had ordered the standard Americano myself, and the Mrs had their specialty latte, Teddy Graham latte. The Americano tastes freshly brewed, and the Teddy Graham has a balanced flavor of sweetness and espresso. Definitely worth coming back to check out other specialty drinks. Came in for a chagaccino and pastry. I got a white chocolate raspberry scone and it was just ok, a little over baked but the flavor was good. The chagaccino was smooth and delicious and I seriously cannot wait until my next one. It didn't upset my stomach either so that's a huge plus. Get some work done at Canabru! AMBIANCE: This cafe is quite a large indoor space, there's seating and a little bar against the window to work. There's merch and coffee beans at the entrance. On a busy day it can get a bit noisy but not enough to make you leave, it's tolerable. In the early AM, lunch time, and weekends do it packed here. There's plenty of public parking too. COFFEE: I've tried the Teddy Bear & Teddy Graham lattes a couple times and I personally like it. It's on the sweeter side but tasty. Fair prices. Oh and I've tried a blueberry muffin that was really good. SERVICE: The baristas are welcoming, sometimes if its not busy, they'll start a small conversation with you. I knew about this place for years but never got a chance to try it since it's on the part of Chino I never go to. My neice came into town and wanted a coffee from a mom n pop shop. I knew where to take her (so I hoped)... Okay so driving up it's pretty easy to find parking. Then the ambiance was better than I anticipated. Such cute decor inside, it feels like a hip library coffee shop bakery in Seattle. And it's very warm and woodsy (and relaxing)... The place was 70% full and it was a Friday around 3pm. Pretty cool- people seem to like it here, but it wasn't stressful or too loud (thankful I hate loud)... Then the baked goods and fudge/ OMG FUDGE! Yes I had no idea! The display case at the front is filled with a cornucopia of beautiful and delicious treats. So we had to get some (of course)... We got a few different fudges options one with nuts one without . Also we tried the blueberry muffin and an americano with oat milk and an iced tea. Everything was great and I can't wait to come back and try more goodies!
