I was surprised to see a CHICHA San Chen locally! The first time I've had their tea was in New York, so I was quite delighted to make a pit stop here. Parking is a bit interesting and it's a tight reverse, so be careful when exiting and entering. We came in, and the step by aroma of freshly brew tea encircled us. We didn't wait in line for too long, but it gave us enough time to decide on what to get. Their menu isn't huge, but an amount good enough not to get overwhelmed. When we arrived at the front of the line, the cashier automatically handed us samples of their summer tea offering. It was quite aromatic and refreshing. We didn't opt to get that, but I did order their Dong Ding Oolong Tea with boba. We waited for about five minutes before receiving our drinks. It's always nice to see their boba drinks come with a cup sleeve and string! When tasting my drink, you can taste the oolong perfectly and it's a subtle type of sweetness. Their boba is very chewy, but sweet, too. The workers here were kind and it was a very clean environment. Just like their tea, their shop is clean and to utter perfection. Briefly in the area, recommended by a friend who said everything at CHICHA San Chen is good. Cream mango tart (5/5): the flavor of the tea which is espresso pressed is aromatic and balanced. The cream top, which they recommend you sip halfway before swirling into your drink, also very good quality and not overpowering. Not airy at all, flavorful too. Lastly, the mango part tastes fresh like pressed juice and the whole drink really came together. I almost ordered taro balls with mango, but CHICHA San chen really cares about curating flavor and the staff member let me know they don't offer that option because they discovered those flavors cancel out. I would trust them in the future to have amazing quality drinks. The menu on the TVs have small font that's harder to read until you're up next in line. Yeah, there is a Chica San Chen spot located in Chino. It's in a small plaza but at the time I went it had plenty of parking. The inside of the store is small but the taste of this tea is so delicious. I love coming to any of these tea stores to enjoy a nice cup of tea. Today though I ordered the creamy mango tart which has bold flavors but I truly did enjoy it. They have many different unique toppings if you want to add them like boba and jellies. But for me, I just kept it simple. The service was so fast and overall I took it Togo but there are some seats and tables in here that no one was using. read more

Perfect, as always! This is my sister's and my favorite boba franchise. Their drinks and boba are consistently tasty, and they never disappoint. The service and quality are always amazing, and we're so glad that they have a reward system now! Literally everything on the menu is super tasty, but I recommend getting their mango and honey flavors in any of the teas! This place has been on my radar for a while and I'm glad I finally got to try it. The cafe is very bright and clean. The menu is pretty simple. I tried their seasonal drink the grape tea with conjac jelly and my partner tried their mango tea with boba. I typically don't like my drinks very sweet so I got it with less sugar. The aroma of the tea was insane in both drinks. Both drinks were so fragrant and you can actually appreciate the taste of tea. Even with 100% sweetness of the mango tea it wasn't overwhelmingly sugary and sweet so it was perfect for me. The boba was perfect texture. Everything about this place was so done meticulously and had the best experience. The service was excellent, too. Overall nice space and great designs! You pick a tea base, an option flavor and optional topping. What I love about them is they hand brew each cup to order. I really enjoy strong flavor teas so the way they espresso brew each cup to the exact measurement really bring out the flavor! My group got their award winning green tea with mango, cassia with cream and grass jelly topping, high mountain pouchong with passionfruit and boba, and a lemon condensed milk with mango. They were all great, clean refreshing taste! Their boba was nice and chewy, but their grass jelly didn't have too much flavor so I'd probably skip out on that next time. Always been a Chicha fan and this was my first time visiting the Chino location. The space here is really nice and very spacious. There's even a few seating tables inside. Parking here was quite easy. We visited on a Monday evening and there was barely a line, so order was quite easy and efficient. I ordered my usual, cassia black tea with mousse and bubble. I would say, that the mousse wasn't as thick as the one I had in San Gabriel and Alhambra, but still pretty good. The tea quality is also high quality tea. Pretty glad they're expanding! read more

We got a green tea with passion fruit flavor and konjac jelly with light sweetness. The tea is really good, but this drink in particular was a little sweet for me, maybe due to the passion fruit. We also got an osmanthus tea with mango, and both flavors were very prominent. The sweetness was perfect on this one. Everyone is very helpful and attentive. They were very knowledgeable and kindly took the time to ensure we got what we wanted. It seems like a great place to study, though I can't recall any charging ports. Rolled up with the family after dinner looking for a dessert to cap off the evening. If your family also believes that dessert is something that should be "not too sweet" then tea is always seen as an acceptable dessert, but I digress. I did not know there was a chicha here and we walked in during a lull on a toasty 95 degree day. Upon walking in, I was taken aback by how big the space was and how clean, quiet, and well lit the space was. Ordering was a breeze. Im at that age where a 8 dollar pint of beer is less inviting than a 8 dollar cup of tea. Its like I'm 33 going on 63, but I digress. So, for the price and the quality of the tea you get and the space they provide, I'll eat the price. What does make this place stand out is, like a winery or a upscale coffee shop, this place does complimentary tastings of oolong tea. We kind of stumbled upon it but they recommend calling in to set up an appointment. You get to learn a little bit about the oolong they use and the different roast profiles. You get to taste the tea as well which is nice. Little things like this go a long way and adds to the experience where you feel like you are getting 5 star service and attention to detail that really takes it beyond just "going out to get tea". Our guide was awesome and the whole experience takes anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes. I would highly consider tipping as this service is complimentary but you can tell they take what they do seriously and put a lot of attention and detail in to what they do. As someone who loves CHICA San Chen, I was enamored when they opened one in Chino. I was able to go during their soft opening and occasionally afterwards and as soon as you enter, it's super clean, organized, spacious, and has that modern/chill vibe, very unique. As someone who has many tea options to choose, it was special that the staff offers you a small sample to try. I was also able to have a short experience where they show you all the methods and all kinds of different teas. Exceptional service, super friendly and professional. Aside from ordering in stores, you're able to order online as well. There's also a kiosk inside but I haven't seen it being used or online, perhaps it'll be in use when the cafe is busier than usual. This location also has indoor seating (limited) but it's more than enough to go around with all the orders going in and out fast. Parking is free and plenty to go around. I usually get the Cassia Black Tea with Mousse, but because of the samples, I was recommended to try the Lemon Condensed Milk with a hint of Mango. The drink has a good balance of sweetness, and because it's condensed milk, it surprisingly has a good balance of smooth and thick, very tasty to drink. CHICA San Chen always/most of the time has a long wait due to how popular it is, but this location is not as packed as other locations. Quality of the drinks are exceptional and service is extremely fast. You can't go wrong with getting CHICA San Chen. Will be back often to try the other catalogs on the menu. read more

It might be a little hard to find as my maps took me to the opposite side of the plaza, but they are located directly in front of the HiroNori ramen. We got the Dong Ding Oolong Tea and the Cassia Black Tea, both of which were super rich, flavorful, and delicious! (I also ordered the Black Tea with Cream, and the Peach Green Tea, but gave them to my dad who I forgot to ask if he liked it. I'm sure he did though, as the quality of the drinks was so amazing!)
