I will only going to Chinese boba spots from now on. Something about the motherland taking back what's been bastardized by Western Asians and their Sunright Boba Time tutti frutti nonsense and reforming it back to its rightful form makes these drinks taste better even if they're the same. Pretty decent drink. I fw the vibe more than the drink tho lowk.

Cute place. The young lady at the register was a little snooty. I asked her about their matcha & she gave me this very rude l, stinky look. I asked her if the matcha taste is noticeable or not. She apparently didn't like me asking her. I asked because many establishments that offer matcha, the matcha taste hibernates. Once again the matcha taste is nowhere to be found. She lied. I wish people would tell the truth. Now I no longer want to return.

Boya Tea Latte with side sugar

Branch of a popular Chinese milk tea chain, with comfortable interior and nice decor. Menu is more limited, but the worst is the sugar options: you can't order minimal sugar, just less or none. The drinks are super sweet. But kudos for the option of sugar on the side. Most popular drink is the Boya Tea Latte.

Was a big fan of the Century City one the first time that I went and was impressed by how "fancy" it was in comparison to other boba places. Again, it was the first place I was introduced to those slim 3 piece flute straws that make you enjoy more of the tea's flavors. More Chagee's have popped up since then and this is the first one I've been to that was not inside of a mall or shopping center. Very spacious, lots of parking, very aesthetically pleasing inside with the warm lighting, and lots of seats and tables with outlets so people were studying, working on stuff, or just hanging out. Restrooms have a number code and was very clean too. It's opened fairly late at 10 PM which is pretty nice. There's not much out here that can measure up to Chagee time wise and tea wise, so it's fulfilling an ecological niche for this area. You can always order from the front, or you can download the Chagee app and rack up points on that and pick up from the counter. Didn't take too long for my drink to come out, nor did it take too long for my friend's. Out of morbid curiosity, I got something I usually would never get, the CHAGEE Daydream. Awful mistake, not going to lie. Like any other special drink you get at other tea places, you can't make too many customizations or changes (at least not in the app), so you can only get this large and the sweetness is either normal or less sweet. No option to take out the whipped cream, change the amount of caramel drizzle, etc. This drinks is essentially an oolong milk tea and caramel Frappuccino. Sounds like it might be good right? Unfortunately, even at less sweet, it was way sweeter than its Starbucks counterpart. To the point where I couldn't finish it and it's living in our fridge as a sweetener for my brother's black coffee and my friend almost gagged (held back due to the amount of people in the cafe). Like, I get it, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but a place can truly be an amazing S tier tea place if I can throw a dart on the board, order anything and have it be super good. At least they have a lot of very nice, quality looking merchandise.

Wanted to see what all the hype was. Service was a little slow on a busy Sat afternoon, but it wasn't too bad. It's a pretty big space with plenty of seating. I got the roasted black tea latte. It had good tea flavor, but almost $9 for a large is crazy work. No toppings either. Not really worth the price imo.

jasmine milk tea never fails to impress. the teahouse itself is always focused on the quality of the teas given their non-extensive menu, and you can definitely taste it. the staff are efficient and friendly and have no problem answering your questions. the shop is large and can seat 30-40 people easily. their chairs are very comfortable, there's free wifi and a bathroom so it makes a great study spot! for those not wanting caffeine, there is sadly no non-caffeinated option.

This tea shop is next to Arco gas station in the Sam's shopping center. Ordered Jasmine Green Pure Tea I love the floral fragrant of this Jasmine tea. It is refreshing. Service was great. Ambiance really nice inside. Nice spot for meetup, work or study. Parking is limited near the shop, but plenty of spots are available away from the tea spot. Definitely, will be back.

I was excited to hear that Chagee had a presence in Southern California, so I made a trip up to Ontario just to try them. The interior seemed spacious and airy, with no lines around noon on a weekday. The menu showcased a selection of premium teas and lattes. I placed a to-go order for the Amber Oolong Latte and Boya Jasmine Milk Tea. I was warned that the sugar level is drastically lower than other tea shops, and I heeded the warnings. I'm typically a 50% sweet type of person, but I ordered the tea at 100% sweet just in case. Increasing the percentage ended up being the right call. Boya Jasmine Latte: Some flowery flavor, but it seemed a bit watered down compared to other spots I've frequented. What's nice is they allow one to substitute oat milk for free. Amber Oolong Latte: I'm not familiar with amber oolong, but it had a subtle roasted flavor that I enjoyed. This tea flavor came through a bit more than the other tea, and I thought it was drinkable at 100% sugar. Unfortunately, the amber oolong latte was deemed not sweet enough for someone in my party who typically orders 70% sweet at tea shops, so we asked them to provide more sweetener, and they did. It was definitely tastier after the extra sweetener. While the fancy branding and lack of toppings suggests a premium tier of tea, I'm not sure the U.S. market is ready for low sugar milk tea. It would be helpful for management to consider adding options for 125%-150% sweetness. All things taken into consideration, Chagee is not a place I'd visit frequently, and there are options with better prices that align with the potential customer's expectations of sweetness.

Can't customize drinks from their app on Google/android phones.... But at least the drink is good. It better be for the $8 I spent lol. Got the peach oolong citrus teafresher. I have also tried them in Brea. Really good lime and lemon freshness, and maybe I tasted the peach a bit but it was more subtle. Beautiful space, though it is by the gas station, ARCO I believe. Love the Dior inspired detail & influences on their drink cups and bags.

So happy CHAGEE finally opened a location in the IE! If you're coming here expecting super sugary drinks, this probably isn't the spot for you. This is definitely a tea-forward experience made for true tea connoisseurs. The flavors are smooth, balanced, and actually let the tea shine. Amazing! The interior is elegant and stylish, honestly reminding me of Dior with the color palette, packaging, and overall aesthetic. It feels upscale while still being a great place to relax, study, or hang out. My favorite drinks so far are the jasmine milk tea and the lemon tea, both super refreshing and flavorful without being overly sweet. I also appreciate that they offer milk alternatives like oat milk and let you customize sugar levels. I usually go less sweet, and they nail it every time. The mobile app is also really convenient for ordering ahead and grabbing your drinks quickly. Even when they're busy, the staff stays friendly and works fast. Definitely one of my new favorite tea spots in Ontario!

Ahhh I love love love Chagee when I get it in Asia but I think that this location missed the mark a bit :( the amber oolong is still sososo good but the jasmine and the ceylon are not as good. I also dont like how they have plastic cups here for some drinks vs the usual chagee cups used in asia. Service was also okay, not the employees ir anyones fault but the app quoted me a 30 min wait but my drinks were done in 10 so they were sitting for awhile... and i reaaally dont like when my drinks turn watery :( Overall the store is still super nice and clean and I love that the aesthetic is on point with the brand! I was super tempted for the year of the horse blankets!!

Probably the biggest disappointment. This place was overhyped. If my rating was based on service alone, this place would receive a 5/5. I loved the staff, they were all so kind. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for everything else. The drinks were flat, subpar at most and I feel like all the money was spent on ambiance and a pretty bag rather than the quality/flavor of the drinks. I also paid $18 for 2 drinks which is pretty heinous. My drink was also taken by someone else and I waited 30min for 2 drinks. Overall, maybe my experience might be more nuanced but I don't see myself coming back.

Met up with my wife's relatives for a get-together and we all went to stop by at this tea place called CHAGEE TEA. This tea place is so packed, I guess it's new in the area. We tried their COLD and HOT drinks. The moment my wife tasted the drinks she said it's a very good quality drink, I agree with her we can really taste the tea or the flavor of our drink as described in their menu , both drinks are very smooth, pleasant drinks . Inside there are merchandise for sale that's also available, like tumblers, mugs, bags, blankets etc . So many staffs too inside so drinks are made quickly, my wife also has their to-go bag, she said it's pretty. Easy Parking around. Hope someday we see CHAGEE also in San Diego.

Being an SGV native, boba tea shops are a thing I grew around with and am very familiar with. I…read morehave a slight prejudice to boba places outside of the SGV area so take what I have to say with a grain of salt and that this is my personal taste. Chat Tea from the pictures and self serve system made it feel like it was a boba place from SGV. The kiosk to order has both English and Chinese and the drinks and food all look familiar. I was thinking how nice this place was. A little rough around the edges here and there, but it's spacious with many tables, seating, and a little bar area. It has decent air conditioning (AC is a must with the weather quickly heating up), and feels clean enough. The vibes overall are alright but I think a little more can be done to the interior to make it feel more cozy, modern, or esthetically pleasing. The servers are very friendly and nice. One girl had a lot of energy, very positive, had the attitude of trying her best to answer any questions, and making your experience nice. Basically a 10/10 for customer service within reason and normalcy. Other workers were alright. I don't really focus too much on customer service for boba joints. The prices are within the standard price range. Nothing seemed off in pricing when scrolling through the menu. For people new to boba tea places, I think it's fair to say that they're now around the same price as going to Starbucks, though some places still have lower prices. The drink was alright. They had 3 tea options (black, green, and oolong iirc) and a good selection of flavors and toppings but it felt a little lackluster. It wasn't bad but it didn't have a distinct flavor or trait that makes it special. Kinda like instead of generic soda, it was generic boba tea drink at the super market kind of feel. The issue could be the drink i chose (grapefruit GT less sugar) but I'm usually used to a stronger and more distinct fruit flavor with this order. The fried tofu was fried pretty well. It's a very thin breading type of deep fry but was very crispy. But it wasn't the standard fried tofu snack I expected. Usually places either have a flavorful breaded fried tofu or they use dry seasoning(generally something a little spicy) after frying. Instead this was basically tofu + a soy sauce based shopping sauce from what I tasted. I was expecting more of a sweet and sour or spicy sauce. Overall felt kinda bland and the sauce was forgettable. I want to again say that the drink and tofu are not necessarily bad, but they weren't in my realm of expectation or my taste. If I still worked in the area, I would maybe give this place another 2 to 3 tries to see if it would be a study/work spot. If you like the drinks, this would definitely be a nice place to work or study at.

I also got fish cutlet curry with rice and a cabbage salad. The fish was wonderfully seasoned and crispy, loved the rice and curry sauce but the cabbage salad was a little bitter (I ate it anyway). I also ordered the popcorn chicken and asked the spice level to mild and it wasn't salty. Very affordable, the rice dish was $14, popcorn chicken was $8 and the drink was $6. Bill was $28. They packaged the order in a nice foil bag to keep the entre warm. The place was cute and cozy. Lots of seating and clean. Located in a busy shopping center next to Ralphs, a bank, Pho Island, Juan Pollo, Little Caesars and other restaurants.

They also have some cute claw machines for stuffies, cool vending Machines for other awesome goodies, and a cotton candy making machine, if I didn't order so many sweets, I probably would've gotten one of those! I love that they have mini connect 4 and tic tac toe at every table to play while you wait or hangout. Onto the food, first of all, how cool are the cups?! They're a slight see-through chrome and it's so unique, I definitely thought that was cool! My partner had the milk tea and said he would have liked a little bit more of a tea flavor but I really liked my mango sago. Perfect amount of sweetness and tapioca. The small lemon tart was interesting, I think the lemon tasted different than I expected but I did appreciate the crunch factor layered on top. The mochi scones they serve are actually so good! Scones are usually brittle, but this mochi scone they have is really delicious, you can taste the strawberry in every bite and it doesn't taste artificial! The mochi is so good and they warm it for you and it's just soft, fluffy and melty, I would honestly come back to buy a few of these. I also ate it the next day and after microwaving it for a few seconds, it was just as fresh as the day before! I also ordered the mango panna cotta which was awesome, it's higher in price but they give you a huge portion of the dessert! There was plenty of panna cotta and the layer of mango jello that sits on top in combination with the plentiful, super big, juicy mangos topping, this dessert was a winner in my book! Overall I had a really wonderful experience at Boba cha with the staff and food, I'd definitely come back to try other drinks and get some of them scones.

I've been here twice and both times was after a meal at La Bufadora next door. Parking is difficult in the front of the facility, unless you intend to be here for less than 20 minutes; there is a designated 20 minute parking area. When ordering here, I don't usually order at the register since the baristas are always busy. They don't acknowledge when guests come in, so I use the kiosk to the left to make my purchase. My phone number doesn't work for the rewards and I could never figure out how to sign up. I ordered my usual milk tea with boba. This time, I put less ice since it was chilly outside and I even had on a cardigan. When my drink came, I was fairly disappointed. With less ice, came less to drink. My drink wasn't filled up... I guess I understand, but at the same time, it was a bit of a rip off especially if I'm paying $6.50 for it. The milk tea was not sweet although it was 100% sweet and the boba was inconsistently different sizes. With a second visit and the same lack of taste, I don't think I'll be back. I'm paying the same price as another boba shop that would give me more toppings and fill up my cup. I'd rather drive towards Eastvale for boba instead.
