The vibe was good, positive and energetic, however, their parking is the downfall. There is probably room for 40-50 people inside and in the outdoor patio but there are only a few parking spots. I could not park close by because my car will be towed and further down the street there are also signs that one cannot park if you are visiting here. The street is overcrowded also. I would say plan to spend a few minutes here trying to find a parking spot. read more

I was shopping a few days earlier and noticed a girl with delicious looking coffee. I asked her about it and she said it was from Coft. A few days later I stopped by here. Parking is weird here. They share a parking lot with a nail salon and the on-site parking is limited and cramped. I pulled up with a spot open. I suffered later as it was tricky to reverse out but I survived. Lol. I guess you can park on the street but there are signs from the business regarding towing, so I was a bit ancy. Not sure how comfortable I would feel if I returned to stay and study for a few hours. Anywho, this establishment looks like its a house renovated into a coffee shop. Decent amount of tables and chairs to stay for a chat over coffee or a study session. Lots of seating outside as well. They also have a shelf of books, but I wish it wasn't tucked away making it hard to access if other customers are sitting right in front of it. As for the service and drink I would give it a 4. Service was friendly and I did get a few recommendations. I decided to get their vietnamese coffee and to their credit, it was decent. I come from GG/Bolsa which has the most authentic vietnamese coffees in Socal, so given this is out of that area, they still have a good recipe for viet coffee. The only thing was I wasn't allowed to get extra ice probably because of their recipe. Their normal ice level was fine. I also got a spinach feta croissant. I did like that they had a variety lof savory and sweet croissants. Although my croissant was warmed, the inside of it was not when I took a few bites. The flavor was also just okay, so I wouldn't get that again. All in all, I would return to try other drinks but be more cautious of where I park. read more

I checked out Coft with a friend when we were both in the area. Finding the cafe was not the challenge, the parking was! Located a small lot shared with a nail shop, there was limited parking in the front and rear of the cafe. Street parking is permitted but you may need to park far. The cafe cautions to not park in the neighborhood behind them as well. When you do find parking, the inside of the cafe is roomy with places of sit and chat. Several people came to study and independently work. There is also outdoor seating if you wish to enjoy your drink with some natural sun. Their menu hit all the major matcha drink options and even comes in small or large. I selected the berries and cream matcha with light ice and less sweet. I think this combo hit the spot because the berries added some sweetness and allowed me to still taste the matcha. I opted for the large which ended up costing ~$9. Overall, the drinks are good, slightly costly if you choose to get a larger size, and would definitely come back. Parking is a major struggle but if you are patient, it is possible to secure a spot. Since I'm out of town, I'm always on the hunt for spots that are actually worth trying--and COFT Coffee definitely did not disappoint. I tried a few drinks and every single one hit. The coconut matcha was one of my favorites--super smooth, light, and not overly sweet. It had this subtle coconut flavor, and the coconut flakes on top were such a nice touch. It felt refreshing and well balanced, not heavy or artificial tasting at all. The flan latte was also sooo good. It had that creamy, slightly caramel flavor you'd expect, but still not overly sweet, and the espresso came through perfectly. It gave it that nice little kick without being too much. One of those drinks you don't want to share but probably should. Their Vietnamese coffee was solid too--and definitely stronger than most places I've tried. If you're looking for something that will actually wake you up, this is it. I also really appreciated that they had a kids menu. My kids got the double berries and cream with whole milk and it was honestly delicious. I ended up mixing a little into my matcha and it was actually so good--unexpected combo but it worked. Now the pastries... 10/10 across the board. I tried the turkey and provolone, the cheese pastry, and the jalapeño one. I love that they offered to warm them up because they came out perfectly crispy and warm--just hits different like that. The vibe inside is super mellow and welcoming. It's spacious, clean, and has a really nice aesthetic. It honestly felt like one of those places you can just sit, relax, and enjoy your drink without feeling rushed. My friend Leonard told me I just had to try this place out, and I'm so glad he did! What a cute little coffee and matcha shop! First of all, the parking lot is VERY small. There is street parking available, but with all the other businesses, the residential parking on the street and the church and high school right there, it's nearly impossible to find parking. They have a sign posted that local businesses will have you towed if you park in their lot. I ended up parking a couple blocks away and walking. They have another lot behind the shop, but that was also full and very small. It was packed while I was here. The line moved quickly and they were whipping out orders promptly. I decided to try the coconut matcha and got the berries and cream matcha for my oldest. The coconut matcha was incredible! By far my favorite, and some of the best matcha I've had. It blew my mind. The berries and cream matcha was a bit more bland and almost had a bitter taste to it. I tried the double matcha, berry matcha, and coconut matcha The double matcha was my favorite. It was so creamy and packed with flavor. You can tell they use high quality ingredients for this. The coconut matcha was refreshing, lightly sweet, and topped with toasted coconut that takes it to another level. I loved this esp given how hot it's been in chino. Okay I am loving the matcha here. There's plenty of terrific matcha in LA and OC but I hadn't found anything comparable until Coft. Their matcha is super smooth and goes incredibly well with the sea salt cream top. Their drinks are made with oat milk by default, which is a plus in my book! I recently went to Coft Coffee and tried their Sea Salt Hojicha and the Matcha with Flan Cream, and both drinks were so good. The inside of the café is really aesthetically pleasing. It's cozy, welcoming, and there were a lot of people studying or working when we visited, which made it feel like a really nice place to sit down and get work done. The staff were also very kind. When my friend ordered the hojicha, the lady working there made sure we actually knew what hojicha was before making the drink. She explained that it's a roasted and nuttier version of matcha, which I thought was really thoughtful since some people might not be familiar with it. It was sweet of her to double check in case we didn't know what we were ordering. I ordered the matcha with flan cream, and my friend got the sea salt hojicha. I have to say, the hojicha was so good that I think I might like it a little more than my matcha. But my drink was still really good too. The matcha was well prepared, the ratio was great, and the flan cream topping was so smooth and delicious. I've seen Coft circulate on socials and was excited to finally try them out. Maybe I should've read through other reviews because I was immediately thrown off by the teeny tiny lot and minimal amount of spaces in the front and back. If you can't snag a space, then you move onto hunting for street parking and walking IF you're going during a busy time! I ended up parking up the street, 2-3 min walk, on Park Pl. I ordered a large Flan latte w/ an additional shot. ($8 + $1.50). I def could've just made the extra espresso shot at home because this stuff really adds up. Economy isn't great rn so unfortunately like $8-$10 for one drink sounds so steep but is normal now. This was my bf's drink and he enjoyed it! A little sweet but the additional shot helped balance it out. The raspberry on top is also a nice touch. Also ordered the Berries & Cream Matcha ($8.00). I was in looove with the house berry cream. Tasted like strawberries! I was trying not to keep eating it because I needed to leave some to be mixed in with the matcha. It was a good balance between the berry and matcha flavors. The matcha tasted rich and of quality. There were a lot of people everywhere whether sitting and hanging out, studying or waiting for their drinks. My two drinks came out in a timely manner. My order was placed at 1:19 pm and I was back at my car by 1:33 pm. I'd love to come back but hopefully at a less busy time because the parking is a turn off for me, unfortunately. We are slow sippers and the drink was finished quickly due to the excessive amount of ice, while the ice was still filled to the brim of the cup. Furthermore, this may not be in their control within the immediate future, but finding parking here is incredibly difficult. It is the most challenging aspect and unfortunately has deterred our visiting the location more, despite it being an accessible location for us. They were very good, quality matchas. The initial taste was a strong nutty, dark, slightly roasted taste, smooth with little to no bitterness. They come with oat milk as the standard milk. They are delicious but we definitely wish it was explicitly stated that the standard milk included is oat, as most other places have 2% or whole milk as their standard. So personally, I would have preferred dairy in my latte, as I prefer to have it paired with matcha. Also, this matcha is VERY nutty and not vegetal/grassy at all. Not my preference, but I can definitely appreciate the quality and flavor. We will definitely return! Come try it! read more

The young crew that works this space is hardworking and always kind and while their workspace is quite small they keep it very well kept and clean which is impressive. I love when they bring in a vase of flowers it really adds to the ambiance. The hojicha latte is my favorite and is toasty, nutty and flavorful. On a Sunday morning - afternoon, this place kept a steady (5-10+ people) line! I was there from 11:45-2:30 and it had that line the whole time. Despite they, they get the drinks out in under 10 mins and the staff remains kind! I got the small boy coconut matcha for around $7 total. I believe it's a 12 oz but they do give a lot of ice. Regardless, it's a good tasting coconut water and rich matcha foam! The matcha foam was creamy and more on the bitter, but not too bitter, side. They've clearly done a good job creating a distinct atmosphere, which a lot of newer mom-and-pop coffee shops struggle to achieve. Those aspects are where the two stars come from. However, on my only visit, I wasn't able to get one of the most fundamental things a coffee shop is supposed to provide: a hot latte. I ordered their version of a Spanish latte and asked for it hot, since the menu notes that drinks come iced unless otherwise requested. That's when I was told they couldn't make hot drinks because something was wrong with their machine. At that point, half of their drink menu was essentially unavailable. For a coffee shop, not being able to serve hot coffee drinks is a pretty major issue. I could have overlooked that if there had been a sign posted somewhere before ordering, but I looked around while taking in the space and didn't see any notice at all. What ultimately left the biggest impression wasn't even the machine issue itself, but how little effort was made to address the inconvenience. A strong cafe experience isn't just about aesthetics, it's also about customer care when things go wrong. Something as simple as acknowledging the inconvenience, offering a discount, or giving an incentive to come back would have gone a long way. Instead, it felt like the situation was treated as normal, despite customers making the trip there expecting a full coffee menu and potentially leaving disappointed. Had there been any meaningful effort to make up for the issue, this review would have been much more positive. I also understand this review may feel incomplete or even unfair to some people, since I ultimately wasn't able to experience one of the core things they're there to provide. Maybe someone else will go and have a completely different experience, and that's fine. There's room for that perspective too, but there's also room to acknowledge when a major part of the menu is unavailable without notice and when there's little effort made to address that inconvenience, so other customers can be aware before making the trip. read more
