They're known for that ride cracker

Its difficult to find a good bakery that is fully stocked with readily made items now a days. Cafe Bleu Bakery is a good standard Korean owned pastry shop that has it all. I've been to this bakery a few times. I came in here recently with some friends after our dinner in the plaza. We got a bunch of stuff to try and bring home. They had lots of fresh made pastries, breads, savory items, and cakes made and ready to be eaten. We asked them what was most popular and they showed us these rice cookie/crackers with almonds on top. They tasted buttery and were highly addictive. I also love their sweet potato mochi which are hard to find in other korean pastry shops. And I also love their cream filled breads. They also have beautifully made cakes that range from $42-$48 each. You can even purchase slices to eat there. Cafe Bleu also has a drink menu with lots of options, which includes teas and matchas. They even had drinks you can't get anywhere. My friend got a ginger tea which was enjoyable. The staff there was very nice and answered all our questions. I love the wide variety and plentiful of places to sit and eat. We will be back.

Used their rainbow cake for my daughter's unicorn bday!

Cafe Bleu is officially our spot for birthday cakes. We've started a new birthday tradition where each kiddo gets to pick their own cake, and this place makes it way too easy. Their cake selection is always on point--cute, fun, and tons of sizes and flavors to choose from. The rainbow cake was a total show-stopper at my daughter's unicorn-themed birthday (and tasted just as good as it looked). Every cake feels special, which is kind of the whole point of a birthday, right? We added a few personal touches to the cake and it was PERFECT. If you want fun, happy, celebration-worthy cakes, Cafe Bleu is the place to go.

This place did way beyond the expectations! I had a friends bday coming up and was in need of a bday cake very last min (literally the next day) I called them to see if I can secure a cake for me for the next day. They usually only sell the strawberry cream cake but I ask them to do a triple berry cream cake with black berries and blueberries as well. I also asked them to make the cake plain and white with just decorated the rims of the cake. The next day I went to pick up the cake I also asked them to write on the cake and they delivered! The writing was beautifully written! I love how aesthetically it came out! Cake tasted amazing too! Very spongy moist and soft. Cream was very light and not too sweet overall! From service to the quality of cake and the price $45 we were impressed!

I got the bear cake from here AND ITS SO CUTE AND DELICIOUS!! It's not too sweet and the small size fed my family of 6 no problem (photo is the large cake though). The only thing is that I'd say it's a bit pricey for a small cake at $40, but since it's a unique shape I think it was worth it. The workers are so nice and were able to set a cake aside for me to pick up later in the day.

This café is super cute. I love that there's plenty of parking and it's easy to get to. It's really self-serve. You get a plate plates and you put whatever pastries you want on the plate and then the workers they ring you up. Service was good; nothing to complain about. The pastries were just OK. It's nothing special. I prefer 85° over this bakery though. The price of the pastries here are the same as 85°. I just prefer 85° pastries more because I like the taro options. Where as Café BLEU does not have any taro options. It could be that we came almost at closing time. Maybe we will give it another go during the day.

It's such a cute atmosphere inside, and the employee was helpful and attentive. I got the pecan tart for a coworker, and she told me it was good. But I haven't tried it myself, so I can't speak on it. But, everything looks tasty, and I really want to try one of their cakes!

Curry bun, black sesame bun and a sweet potato bun with cream and red bean paste

Decided to stop by, as my mom had been reading review after review of this place. The service was excellent, the lady at the counter was happy to show us around, telling us her personal favorites and was happy to answer any additional questions. The prices for the breads and buns weren't bad, ranging from $3.50-4.75+ for the most part. The cakes on the other hand were quite pricey for the size that they were. As a result we got three bread buns to choose from, a sweet potato and black sesame bun with cream and red bean paste and a curry bun. The staff were happy to warm up our curry bun while we sat down, there were free cups to get water from if you didn't feel like ordering a drink, overall it was a nice spot to hand out.

    Injeolmi cake
    Angela B.

Injeolmi cake slice $6.75 (roasted soybean powder cake) Nice density to the whipped cream light and fluffy, decently flavored cake Crumbs aren't that crunchy, but they provide texture as they are more grainy Very hard to find in a standalone bakery in oc! Cream is like 85% of the way to Korea in terms of milkiness haha In terms of flavor, It's like eating oats, but sweetened with a nutty aftertaste I guess lmao For injeolmi flavored things, it def hits the mark. The texture is the winner for me rather than the flavor. If it had a teensy more injeolmi flavor, I'd like it more, but it's super solid! Would def get again and coming back for the sweet potato one lol

    Rainbow Cake (medium sized)

Bought a pretty rainbow cake from this bakery for my kid's birthday. Did not expect much as most rainbow cakes i've tried have been pretty dry. I mostly wanted the look of the cake for photos. However, this one surprised me. Not only was it very pretty, but it was also moist and yummy and delicious! My family normally can't finish a cake and would usually have leftovers, but this cake my kids and I were scrambling for seconds. Even my husband liked it and that's saying something.

Cafe Bleu Bakery is a charming Korean bakery specializing in a unique selection of modern and traditional Korean pastries. This spot is located in the same plaza as Zion Market and there is a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they a pretty spacious setup with about 6-7 tables for seating as well. They had so many delicious looking pastries that it was definitely hard to decide which ones to get. We ended up getting the Chocolate Chip Cookie, Fried Croquette, Curry Croquette, and a Corn Rice Cake from the bakery section. In addition to the pastries, we also got an Earl Grey Milk Tea and a Matcha Latte to wash it all down. Overall, everything that we had was delicious! Cafe Bleu definitely stands out compared to other bakeries with its Korean influences. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come stop by and support this awesome business!

Was looking for a bakery in the area and stopped by to give it a try. They had a wide variety of korean pastries to choose from and a busy seating area in the back. I liked that they included the time that they put out the bread and when they will be removing it so you know they're serving fresh bread! The pastries I chose were a bit underwhelming though, but tastefully not too sweet. It was also nice that they offered samples near the front. Might come back to try their coffee or cakes if I'm in the area again.

Ginger cookies and one red bean filled mochi.

Saw an ad for Cafe Bleu Bakery on Instagram. My sister and I are always looking for new restaurants & cafes to visit and were pleasantly surprised to find this local gem next door to Zion Market. We bought: - Iced Americano coffee (deep, rich heavily caffeinated). Perfect. - Iced Cafe Bleu House Blend coffee. Drip brew (lighter brew). - Red bean filled mochi. Sweet and gooey. - Salted garlic bread. Billowy texture. Light garlic flavor. Delicious. - Ginger cookies. Tiny medallion, wafer thin. Melts in the mouth. Light ginger tang. - Croissant. Bagged so no longer crispy. No sandwiches or salads available. Slices of some cakes were available. I wanted to try the Rainbow cake (reminiscent of King's Hawaiian Paradise cake). No single slice available this time so I'll have to go back in the near future. Friendly, attentive service. We were greeted coming in and leaving. During lunchtime all tables filled. Limited interior seating. Additional seating (2 tables) outside.

I'm hooked. I saw people hyping this place up on IG and tried to resist for the longest time because I thought it was just a viral marketing tactic. Now I keep coming back to try more of Cafe Bleu's innovative and intriguing selection of baked goods. My favorites so far are the black sesame walnut tapioca, corn danish, and red velvet castella. The black sesame tapioca reminds me of jian dui a little bit in its chewy texture, but it's not fried and doesn't have red bean paste inside. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the red velvet castella. I'm not a castella person and don't really care for red velvet, but I love the moist and airy sponge. I thought it had a cream cheese filling, but mine had no filling, which I was completely okay with given how good the cake was. I've also tried a few other items, like the potato and corn mochi, sweet potato bread, chocolate soboro, corn sable, twist donut, pineapple cream, fried curry croquette, etc. I've been obsessed with everything corn lately, and the mochi here are slightly cheaper than Smoking Tiger's and comparable in taste. The potato mochi was very different since it's more savory and filled with what I could only describe as mashed potato. The twist donut dusted with injeolmi (I assume, from the color) on the counter is also pretty good that I devoured it in one sitting. The pineapple cream is different from Taiwanese pineapple bread. I like the airy and slightly salty bread, but I wish it were filled with pineapple jam instead of cream with a few small chunks of pineapple. Okayama kobo has better croquettes imo. Overall I haven't had anything that was terrible; most things have been decent if not really good. My least favorite so far is the corn sable. I've also tried the Vietnamese latte and tiramisu latte. The Vietnamese latte taste different from the Viet coffee I'm used to with strong phin drip coffee and a generous amount of condensed milk, but I enjoyed it regardless. It still woke me up despite not being as strong as a Viet coffee. I love that this bakery stays open until late. I've come here near closing, and there were still people sitting at the tables and chatting away. There is a $5 minimum if you are paying by card, but most items are around $3 anyway that you can easily get above the minimum with two breads. Parking is easy since the lot is huge.

I had never tried Botox before in my life, but I decided to get it for the first time yesterday as well. I don't think the results have shown yet, so I'm planning to post a review once they do. Since we were already in Orange County, we stopped by a bakery at the Source Mall. I bought several pastries there. The fresh cream bread was very delicious. I didn't try the custard cream bread because my younger brothers ate it, so I can't really comment on the taste. I also haven't tried the pecan pie yet. Lately, Dubai chocolate cookies have been extremely popular and trendy, so I asked whether this bakery had them. They said yes, so I bought one for $6.75. However, when I tried it this morning, it was absolutely not a Dubai chocolate cookie. It was basically just a chocolate pie. There was no pistachio flavor at all, and no pistachios inside--just a very ordinary chocolate pie. That part was extremely disappointing. Also, yesterday I asked the bakery if they could provide paper plates so we could cut and share the pastries, but she said they didn't have any. Other bakeries usually provide paper plates, so it was disappointing as well.

I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.
