I completely agree with everyone mentioning the sweetness level. To me, it was perfectly sweet and not overly sugary, even with the Madagascar vanilla cream on top. What I loved most was that the coffee flavor was still very noticeable. The milk and cream didn't overwhelm the coffee, and their house-made syrup tasted natural rather than artificial. Definitely one of those drinks where I could actually taste the coffee instead of just drinking a sweet dessert! Iced Americano -- $4.00 My partner really enjoyed this! They make a solid Americano. We've been to other coffee shops where there's literally coffee grounds sitting at the bottom of the cup , so I was very happy to see none of that here. The shop itself is relatively small, with around 4 tables inside. I noticed one outlet near the larger table. They have WiFi, so it's still a decent spot to get some work done. There's also a small outdoor patio in the parking lot with a few tables, and restrooms are available. Another thing I really love is their mission and commitment to inclusivity. There is also no restroom (you have to use the public one outside), so coming alone to study isn't ideal for when duty calls. There is also a sign for NO outside drinks, foods, desserts, etc. I was there from ~11am to ~3pm. I'd say the atmosphere was louder than I'd like (lots of people talking very loudly throughout my time there), and the music playing was more upbeat (making it hard to focus). In terms of a study spot, I most likely would not come here again. In terms of food/drink, I wouldn't recommend this place. However, if someone suggested it, I wouldn't totally object. The Smoking Spaniard is still yummy yet it used to be sooo much better back in the day, now it taste more like a regular spanish latte. I always see the new seasonal drinks and menu and get so excited to try them just incase I find a new favorite. Most of them have been a miss sadly :( The fruit lattes and drinks from their seasonal menu usually has actual chunks of fruit in it which makes it hard to drink and you have to chew while drinking a latte ;( not my fave. On top of that, they had already run out of matcha and the menu was extremely limited, which was disappointing considering that's one of the main draws of a place like this. Overall, poor communication and lack of transparency really ruined the experience. I understand delays happen, but being upfront and managing expectations would have made a huge difference.
