Imma sucker for bagels as my #1 breakfast choice so I was glad to find another highly rated bagel shop near me!! Service was friendly and reasonably quick. We came on a Saturday around 1030AM and there was only one party ahead of us. All bagel options were available. I got the Heavenly Veggie bagel on an asiago, and my husband got a sausage, egg & cheese on a sesame seed. SO fricken YUMMY. I also took a spinach parm bagel home which I would get as my primary choice next time. Parking lot is a bit small, and the shop is kinda hidden in the corner, but highly recommend going!! Fresh baked bagels on a Sunday morning is one of the best things. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is a small unassuming bagel shop located in the corner of a small strip mall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in looks clean and fresh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You could see the large oven in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their bagels are crafted light and airy as opposed to the more dense one and once they bake it it has a very crispy show. Stopped by for a Bacon, Egg and Cheese and it was delicious! I opted to add chive cream cheese and that put it over the top! The bagel itself was well made and the fillings made it a great meal. Service was friendly and attentive! This will be a short review compared to my usual reviews. I was driving around this morning and saw a sign that said "Buy One Sandwich, Get One Free." It caught my attention, so I pulled over to check the place out. I went up to the counter and asked if I could get the sandwich deal, but the guy told me it's only for lunch. I let him know they should really make that clearer on the sign--because that was the only reason I stopped in. I was a little irritated but decided to at least try something, so I ordered a jalapeño cheese bagel with plain cream cheese. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. The flavor was okay, texture was decent, but the cream cheese was too whipped for my taste. I like a little more substance to it. So yeah, an annoying experience and just an average bagel. I give this place an "eh" review--and I won't be back. read more

Satisfied customer here! I was driving and added a spot to my maps for breakfast and this place came up and immediately sounded perfect. Yes it was too. I ordered the house special coffee, it's just like a Vietnamese coffee. And I ordered the number 8 prosciutto bagel sandwich with jalapeño cheese bagel. Our first time here and we love it! We had their Asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese and half egg cheese croissant and it was amazing! Our smoothies were delicious! We saw nothing but fresh fruit! Stopped in while our car was getting some work done, picked up a veggie deluxe on a sesame bagel, a veggie omelette sandwich on a jalapeno cheese bagel, and a house special ice coffee. Every bite and every sip was delicious! The veggie deluxe is perfectly seasoned with super fresh veggies, the omelette sandwich was hot and cheesy. The house iced coffee was sweet and strong. 11/10 on food and service! The ladies working the counter were friendly and efficient, absolutely busting those orders out and taking the time to answer questions about the menu. I just discovered this bagel shop today. Totally awesome since there really isn't any bagel places on this side of Buena Park. I got the Works bagel with lox cream cheese and it was delicious. They are also having a buy 1 get 1 free lunch sandwich so I took advantage of that as well. Great bagels. Great prices. Fresh juices. This will be my go to bagel shop now. So close! read more

This is a small hidden gem! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is nice and clean, and the staff is always super friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their selection of bagels is awesome and they're fresh. This is def one of my favorite bagel shops and I make sure to stop by for a sandwich or bagel whenever I am remotely close. They have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches and even their rolls are made fresh in house. Super yummy, huge variety of bagels and they are all chewy and crunchy just how a bagel should be! Service was super fast and welcoming. I got the heavenly veggie on the works bagel and it was so good. Also, we got the egg, sausage and cheese bagel and the chocolate chip bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Next time I'd probably just get the regular cream cheese, but the strawberry sure is popular because the party behind us also got the same thing! We also tried the house special iced coffee which is similar to a Vietnamese coffee just with added half and half! They also sell their cream cheeses in little tubs in the fridge! You have an option to dine in or take out as well. Definitely will be coming back. read more

They have their "soft opening" right now with a deal of "buy one sandwich get one free" which is a fantastic deal! One of the best things about Porto's is that there really is something for everyone, whether you are looking for pastries, desserts, cakes, or something savory. The quality is consistently good, and despite how busy they are, the experience is well worth it. If you are visiting Southern California and have never been to Porto's, definitely add it to your list. And if you have been before, you already know why the lines are always so long. I've only ordered from here through Postmates, and every time their packaging is excellent--they wrap each sandwich in this cute wrapper, which adds a fun touch and keeps everything neatly intact and fresh by the time it arrives. One of the best things about Porto's is that there really is something for everyone, whether you are looking for pastries, desserts, cakes, or something savory. The quality is consistently good, and despite how busy they are, the experience is well worth it. If you are visiting Southern California and have never been to Porto's, definitely add it to your list. And if you have been before, you already know why the lines are always so long. It is absolutely a must-try spot and one of my favorite places to stop whenever I am in the area.

While it does require more preparation, it would make a noticeable difference. Ripe bananas are naturally sweeter, and removing the strings would eliminate much of the bitterness while creating a smoother, creamier syrup and cold foam. I also ordered the regular Matcha Latte, and personally, I found it more enjoyable than the Banana Matcha. That said, my all-time favorite drink here is still the Butter Honey Latte. It's incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. I highly recommend giving that one a try!

We ordered patbingsu, bungeoppang (Korean fish-shaped pastry), and an iced café latte. All three items were placed together on one tray. Before eating, I took a picture to post on Instagram. Then, when I picked up the iced latte to take a sip, the lid came off because it had not been properly secured, and the entire drink spilled all over my clothes. I immediately told the staff that the lid had not been properly closed. Instead of apologizing or offering any help, the employees insisted that they had definitely closed it properly and that they had heard the lid "click." They basically said it was not their fault. What was even more upsetting was that they then walked into the kitchen and left us without offering any assistance at all. We asked for something to clean up the mess, but they told us that the tissues were outside and that it was self-service. They simply handed me a mop and expected me to clean everything myself. I was honestly shocked by the lack of basic courtesy and customer service. I went to the restroom and tried to clean my clothes with water as best I could. When I came back out, I saw the two employees inside the kitchen laughing and chatting together. At that point, I was extremely upset. Despite everything, I stayed because my friend had traveled a long way and had really wanted to try the patbingsu and bungeoppang. We tried to enjoy our food, but the whole experience left a very unpleasant impression. Later, when I looked again at the latte photo I had taken for Instagram before the spill, I could clearly see that the lid was not properly sealed. I don't usually write negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt I needed to share it. Mistakes can happen, and I would have understood if the staff had simply apologized and tried to help. What was most upsetting was the attitude afterward -- no apology, no assistance, and no basic courtesy. I will not be returning to this location.

It was cooked unevenly. One side was soft while the other side was hard, and it tasted like it had been sitting out for a day or two. For a bagel shop, I expected much better quality. Honestly, I can get a whole pack of softer, fresher bagels from Costco for about the same price as one bagel here. I really wanted to love this place because the customer service and filling were great, but the quality of the bagel was very unsatisfying. Sadly, I don't think I'll be returning.

They were delicious and not too heavy. They validate for up to two hours of free parking (located in the structure next door) when you ask, and there's also a free iced/hot coffee with Yelp check-in.

They always have a wide variety of donuts to choose from. I was overwhelmed by the many different unique options. I tried their Dubai Biscoff one which had some cream in between. It was glazed on top. The texture when I bit into it was divine. It had the perfect of cream, crunch and softness. It was also the perfect amount of sweetness. I shared one with one other person and we both loved it. Old Ferry is mostly all speciality donuts so they run a little higher in price but you can't get their unique flavors anywhere else so its a nice treat. They make them different everyday. There's no indoor seating but the staff was kind enough to allow us to grab seats from outside to hang out indoors because it was so hot that day and I was starting to feel light headed. My daughter ended up loving what I got for her so I promised next time, I would bring her with me. Definitely stop by Old Ferry Donut next time you're in the Buena Park area!
