I would hate for my favorite donut shop to get crazy busy and make it harder for me to eat their deliciousness but I also want them to reap the benefits of their hard work and mad skills. This place rocks. Used to be across the street and that physical location closed but here they are, busy as ever in a strip mall just adjacent to Arby's and next to a liquor store. This place is legit- from the old-timers having coffee together in the morning to the line of workers grabbing breakfast before reporting to job site. The employees are courteous and kind, efficient and donuts are, most-importantly, so so good! I didn't even eat cake donuts before here. These orange ones changed me forever. The oil they cook in doesn't taste old or yucky. This is always my turnoff for some donut places. I always get a dozen and my coworkers all agree that this place is fabulous.

Stopped by here on the way up the freeway for a snack. Cute little mom and pop shop. Looks like they renovated the place cause it looks brand new! Super clean. Had their maple donut and their twist glaze. Both were PHENOMENAL. They do the soft and fluffy donut realllllllly well here. Their chai tea with boba was also very refreshing. Would definitely return here and try more of their donut selection! Parking is easy as they have a lot right in front. Also places to sit and eat inside. Service was quick and super friendly.

Enough has been written in regards to how great this place is, so I'll approach this review from a socioeconomic perspective. This place is the working man's / mother's go-to. Whenever I go there, there are working dudes grabbing some sandwiches and mothers getting donuts for their kids and themselves. Being that the food is good and prices are reasonable, (especially in this era of high inflation) this establishment is always busy... but it's worth the wait. Get there early in the AM before the donuts sell out. The pastrami sandwiches rule. So do the smoothies. read more

I was craving a good Vietnamese iced coffee, so I decided to stop by Donut Express, and I'm glad I did. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is the perfect blend of bold coffee and sweetness. It gives a great caffeine boost, keeps me going, and is honestly just enjoyable to drink. The shop has a simple, casual vibe and it was nice and quiet when I went because of the time of day. I've passed by before during the early morning hours though, and it can get pretty busy, which says a lot about the place. Parking is convenient, and it's easy to get in and out. Service was prompt, and my drink was made pretty quickly after ordering. I also love that they seal the cup with the vacuum-style top so you can pop the straw through. It really helps prevent spills when you're on the go. This is officially my favorite spot for Vietnamese iced coffee, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend checking them out! read more

What few doughnuts they have aren't bad, but the selection is limited. One morning half the display case was empty. Don't go early morning because the parking lot is pitch black, very unsafe. I'll just drive a couple blocks to Portos. read more

The donut were pretty good and we ate almost all of the ones we bought. The service was a little bit slow though. Otherwise, it was really nice. I would recommend this place if you like donuts and are in La Habra. So, we went in there and ordered a lemon donut, two pumpkin donuts, and an old fashioned donut, I think. It took about fifteen minutes to get our donuts after we ordered. The area nearby is nice and it's pretty well-maintained. Yeah, that's all I have to say. I really do recommend going here. read more

Not even worth the one star. Huge disappointment in the sandwich we got. Ordered a roast beef sandwich. Who puts hot beef on a cold sandwich? Bread was very thin. Was to have everything on it except mustard and pickle. Got the pickle and mustard. And very little of everything else... In fact we took three bite of our sandwich and tossed them in the trash. The Best Little Donut place I've ever been to in Orange County. Always have my Boston cream donuts and the have a Big Variety of donuts All Day Long! They have The Best Thrifty Pineapple/Coconut Ice Cream, Haagen-Dazs has the BEST Pineapple/Coconut Ice Cream because it's made with Real Cream. They have a wide variety of sandwiches also. There Prices Are Very Reasonable. They have a Wide Variety of Drinks Also as well as small bags of chips. There's a Table if you want to eat there. But otherwise it's a Small Place! read more

Found this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. First time here and ordered a ham/cheese/egg croissant with jalapeños and it did not disappoint! We also tried one of their donuts and they tasted great. Lastly, I got the iced coffee and this was delicious as well. 5-stars for this place. Great little hole in the wall. It felt like they were more concerned that I might be trying to get away with something than simply making a customer happy. A simple, "No problem, we'll ring it up as an Americano," would have been perfectly fine. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily argumentative. Hopefully it was just an off day, but customer service matters just as much as the coffee.

I also appreciated that they allow customers to sample flavors before making a decision, which is always a nice touch. The shop is spacious and offers plenty of seating, making it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your dessert. While the yogurt itself wasn't quite to my taste, the fresh toppings, generous seating, and friendly service still made for a pleasant experience.

Once the cold foam melts with the coffee, you really get that banana taste. Swirls of cinnamon and subtle maple taste. Wish the cold foam was a little thicker in consistency. French toast with berries and cream- comes with condensed milk, syrup and butter. The condiments make the French toast. Without the dressings, the bread is a little plain. The bread is soft and fluffy inside. The edges have a little caramelized sugar. Love the thick cut of the bread. Breakfast sandwich- Good average sandwich. It was good but nothing special about it. Would've preferred it came with cheese. Would come back for the coffee and SUPER friendly staff! A little pricey ($30- 1 coffee, half order of French toast and breakfast sandwich).

It doesn't disappoint, especially when you add toppings like condensed milk and boba. We usually enjoy their smallest size, since it's filled to the top. Our favorite flavors are Thai Tea, watermelon, and horchata. We tried the ice cream on top but was a little too sweet for us but could be a nice edition for anyone with a sweet tooth. During our visit, we ordered their Fresh Mango Bingsoo and Black Sesame Toast. The fresh mango Bingsoo was enough for the three of us. So nice and refreshing! However, I would probably only order the plain strawberry one instead for future reference.
