    Kimchi Bulgogi Egg Sandwich
    Vincent P.

This Korean egg sandwich shop at The Source OC is pretty good and the sandwiches are filling! They're located on the first floor of the mall and the workers did a good job making our sandwiches. They have a good selection of sandwiches to choose from, I decided to get the Kimchi Bulgogi Egg Sandwich and it was tasty! Each bite was flavorful and savory. They didn't skim on the portions and I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich!

The portions are big but there is just so. much. egg. It might be better balanced if there was less egg and maybe another slice of ham instead. Staff was friendly and I felt the price was fair. Overall a decent breakfast, just a little lacking.

I've had this place bookmarked for quite a while and was so excited to try it. The sandwich's came out exactly like the photos they have on their walls however what the photo doesn't show is that the stuffing doesn't extend to the end/bottom of the bread. The bread is split into 2 to create a pocket then the eggs and meat lays within the pocket. Because of this, once you reach the bottom, you're left only with bread, so the ration is definitely off. I don't think you get your bang for your buck here especially if you're paying extra for the more popular options. But I do think it's a great option for something quick, tasty, and filling!

Not once has this place disappointed me. It's been consistent ever since I started coming here years ago. The sauce adds a great kick to the eggs and cheese. The amount of egg and cheese makes it worth the price and more. The bread is so soft and adds the perfect touch of sweetness to the combo. It's a melt in your mouth experience that I enjoy every single time. One ham and cheese sandwich is $12.50 ($13.59 after taxes).

Flippoly in Buena Park was pretty good! The sandwiches were creative, delicious, and perfectly made, and tho I didn't get drinks, they looked delicious as well. I'll have to try them next time. Fast service and a fun, modern vibe make it a great spot for a quick bite. It is a bit pricy for an egg sandwich but I guess egg prices have been up lol

Second time we stopped here.. this time I looked for it. Lucky to find it since I did not remember the name. Love their eggs.. with brioche.. either bacon or ham or bulgogi.. Service is very friendly and accommodating.. big plus! Amazing list of drinks.. lattes.. fruity ones. Very nice setup in the mall.. easily accessible from the.

The sandwiches were soooo bomb!! They look small but they're really filling. They had so many delicious options that it was hard to just pick one. We got the bulgogi sandwich and wow, it had so much flavor. I would definitely be back to try their other sandwiches.

Located on the 1st floor of The Source. I didn't get a chance to personally try their sandwiches but my son got the bulgogi egg sandwich which he stated was delicious. Ordering was quick and easy but it did take quite awhile for the food to come out. It was smoky and smelled of fried foods so we waited outside awhile that took the food to come out.

Had the bacon sando, it was very tasty but I wish the bacon was crispier and that there was more and more evenly spaced out. Personally felt like it was on the oily side and had too much sauce which made the bread a bit damper than I prefer. But hard to go wrong with a korean egg sandwich with a tasty sauce.

I am writing this review in order to prevent this from happening again. I walked in to the restaurant morning time with my husband, and ordered the original and ham&cheese sandwich. We got our sandwiches in about 15-20min. As we got our sandwiches, the first thing I noticed was the taste and smell of dishwashing soap from both my husband and mine's sandwiches. Last time when we went we didn't have this issue, and we really enjoyed our food. However, this time it was hard to finish the sandwiches because of the dishwashing soap scent and taste from the bread. Overall, pretty sad experience but not gonna lie the sandwich itself is pretty good portion size and yummy.

Pretty good drinks. Located inside the source mall so it is a nice place to stop by while shopping around the area. I personally liked the peachade drink which is pretty much flavored soda :) also like the dalgona milk tea and coffee as a small pick me up. Service can be a hit or miss though.

Service was fast and attentive! I had a flip poly sand which during covid time and this is the 1st time i've gotten it since and I am still blown away by how good it is! The bread compliments the egg well and the dalgona coffee was a good amount of sweetness. The photo booth was down but hopefully next time I will be able to use it!

    Increase in prices

The music is way too loud in here but the egg sandwiches are so good! It reminds me of eggdrop in South Korea. Not as good but it's the closest we get here. There's been an increase in their prices because of the egg shortage. I wish they had an online ordering system because it takes a while for the food to come out and it would be convenient to just grab and go because the music is too loud inside. They're on DoorDash but with increased prices. They have a photobooth inside and it's only $5 so you can take photos while you're waiting.

Are the eggs freshly cracked or is a pre-made egg mixture used?

I eve live it's freshly made since it tasted pretty fresh. Also I remember you can watch the making process as it's open kitchen.

    How much are the photos?

Hello Anna:) Thank you for your interest. The photos are $5 per set. If you choose one set, you will get two strips.

    Are there are vegan options?

Are there any dairy free options? Is the egg and brioche toast made with any dairy ingredients?

I came in to order and saw the bread in crates from their shipments. It does have dairy. It is bread after all. And no dairy free options.

I came on a Thursday around 4 PM and there were a few people doing work at the tables. The service was super quick and I saw why once I ordered. They don't had whisk their matcha but rather just squeeze the matcha out of a bottle. Lowk scared me but I was still willing to give it a try! I ordered a matcha latte and my friend got an einspanner which both looked promising. The matcha is very grassy and leaves my mouth super dry. The flavor is there and it's not super sweet which I like but it also has a weird salty undertone that I'm not used to in a matcha latte. I think I need to try a matcha einspanner since their foams seem to be what makes the drinks good but I otherwise wouldn't get this matcha again. My friend's einspanner was okay. She mainly liked the cream foam but otherwise it wasn't anything special. The coffee is just straight black so it's not sweet at all until you mix the foam in. I've only had their matcha including their regular matcha latte (unsweetened/almond milk) as well as their double matcha. Both are delicious. Love that they not only use a good strong ceremonial grade matcha (you'll definitely taste the matcha here and the earthy notes) but also whisk. They also use big, clear ice cubes as well. The double matcha isn't super overpowering and actually to us lends better without additional syrup. At first, I was a little unhappy that the matcha didn't always go up to the brim as in other matcha shops. However, I think the quality and flavor here is really solid and has become one of my local favorites. I find the cost to be on average with the area as well (about $7-9 depending on the item you're getting). They also serve some small snacks like Mr. Brown financiers as well. Arc Coffee's interior has a similar stylish look as many of the modern cafes with a nice mirror in the corner and small tables on the perimeter. We usually are able to find seating but do notice it does get quite full at times with people waiting around for their drinks. The only tough part to note is the parking. Parking is tight here, especially during lunch/dinner times from TAO. You may want to park across the street in the California Fish Grill plaza and walk if things are looking way too busy. Definitely have become a regular now and looking forward to coming back more!

Unfortunately, that turned into over an hour--with no updates from staff during that time. What made it worse was that we only found out after we had already paid that the kitchen was backed up. That's something customers deserve to know upfront so they can decide whether they're willing to wait. We were also there with a baby who needed to go down for a nap, which made the long, unexpected delay even more difficult. On top of that, they had already run out of matcha and the menu was extremely limited, which was disappointing considering that's one of the main draws of a place like this. Overall, poor communication and lack of transparency really ruined the experience. I understand delays happen, but being upfront and managing expectations would have made a huge difference. Extremely disappointed. We went to this place a long time ago when they first opened and remembered them having a more extensive menu and it being far better. Sad to see that this place has gone downhill. My family and I will definitely not be coming back again.
