It was around 8:30pm and I was running around to food places at The Source to see if I could find trays or plates to serve a birthday cake. I saw flippoly had some on the side with their counter of napkins, utensils, and straws. I asked the lady at the counter if I could take some. I was going to take at least 14 trays and I offered to buy something to cover the cost of the materials, but she said it's okay and that I could take as many as I like. She was very generous and very kind. We always loved coming here and the employees are always kind. Their drinks like the tonic drinks are sweet, but I love it. Their sandwiches are great, especially for sharing with friends, so you can try other great food at The Source. This place is a sandwich/drink cafe and its small, but cozy. If they're busy like any other place, the wait can be a while for the sandwiches. I've had this place bookmarked for quite a while and was so excited to try it. The sandwich's came out exactly like the photos they have on their walls however what the photo doesn't show is that the stuffing doesn't extend to the end/bottom of the bread. The bread is split into 2 to create a pocket then the eggs and meat lays within the pocket. Because of this, once you reach the bottom, you're left only with bread, so the ration is definitely off. I don't think you get your bang for your buck here especially if you're paying extra for the more popular options. So happy to finally try out this place! It's located inside The Source in Buena Park, so after doing some shopping my friend and I stopped by for a quick snack. We went on a weekday so there was only two other people in the establishment. Waited for less than 5 minutes for our sandwich after ordering at the counter. The bread was buttered to perfection and omg maybe it's because I haven't had eggs in a while but I thought this combo worked really well. Inside is cute with an IG- worthy floral wall and also has photo booth where customers can add their photos to the business wall/windows. The two gals got our drinks and food ready quickly. It is on the pricey side in my opinion, but the sandwiches do fill you up. The brioche bread is super fluffy, eggs were light, the sauce does have a kick to it. I was in the hunt for some kind of breakfast type grub after charging my EV. Just around the corner was The Source offering these egg sandwiches with awesome reviews. This fluffy, soft toasty grilled bread housed this hit and fluffy egg heaven with cheese and house sauce. Every bite was heaven!!! I highly r commend it! I'm sure the other sandwiches are comprable in taste! The dalgona coffee on the other hand, just another coffee beverage. The only thing special about this particular drink was the crunchy, sugary toppings. Although it added texture to your sips, the big chunks definitely wasn't going thru the straw. And the photo/rendering of the drink didn't match what I received. The menu photo showed a heaping topping of the crunch stuff. I think I would have decided to save 50 cents and went with the foamy dalgona I'm much more familiar with. Once I got closer to the counter to order, I was greeted by the only staff. She's the cashier and cook! Isn't the cook supposed to wear a hair net or head covering? That's just me being picky or is that a requirement? It wasn't busy at all. From the soft buttery brioche to the perfectly cooked egg, it was so good. And their house sauce adds a nice flavor. We also got drinks, and those were just as good. There's like 6 (I think or so) sandwiches to chose from. I got the bacon cheese and I must say, it felt hearty. Buttery bread, warm, fluffy eggs.
