I've been coming here since it started as Artis Coffee, saw it become Auria Coffee. I thought their drinks were decent, I liked their Cream Peach & Cream Apple for their non-coffee options. The service was still not too bad, they're still trying their best when it gets very busy, They are still kind & helpful as best as they can be. However, everytime I came by recently, it felt like the people who are there to study, hang out, etc. Are very rude. - I opened the door for a couple walking out as I walked in, they glared at me, and passed. I was just like "....ok?". - The lines for the Kiosk/Register is very unorganized, I couldn't tell which one was which, everytime I go there are groups that just like go from behind to squeeze in next to me for their group, even pushing me and not saying excuse me, and they continue being loud. Besides that, just the vibe of the place now is very uncomfortable. If anything, I'll just start ordering online/pick up from now on. Coming to Auria is always such a treat! I ordered at the kiosk and the drink came out within 5 minutes. The decor is minimalist with both inside and outside seating. We had 6 in our party and had to split up into 2 tables on a Sunday night. The Iced Double Matcha Latte at 50% sweet is near perfect! The first time I visited I must admit that I went crazy on ordering and almost ordered one of everything. Recently discovered this cute coffee shop in Buena Park in an already super popular intersection. There's plenty of parking shared with a next door ramen spot. I ordered their banana cream top latte and peach oolong tea, but they had a variety of drinks such as matcha, hojicha, and tonics. They also had croffles and honey butter sticks. They have a lot of options on the menu from coffees, matchas and teas so there is bound to be something for everyone. There is also a wide variety of pastries (your typical croissants and other laminated goods) but I was more interested in the honey butter toast sticks and croffles offered. We ordered the honey butter toast sticks to share and opted for a strawberry cream. These were sooo delicious and perfect to share. They're crunchy and cinnamon-y, like fried french toast sticks. The strawberry cream was fine, but it was more of a paste than a whipping cream, which I think I would have preferred. For drinks, I got the corn matcha and this was delicious! Super strong corn flavor, and not a cereal flavor, an actual sweet corn from a can flavor. If you prefer the cereal flavor, you might not like this one. The cereal flakes on top were fun to eat later. The matcha paired nicely with the corn taste. I tried the other matchas my friends got and I'd say they all had a consistently good taste. I was worried my biscoff latte was going to be too sweet but I was pleasantly surprised. The biscoff flavor came through in the drink but the taste of espresso was still strong, which I loved. I'm not sure if they infused the biscoff into the milk or if it was a syrup but it was balanced very well and I appreciated the small sprinkles of biscoff cookie on top. I also tried the mini croffle sampler and it didn't disappoint. I'm not a big chocolate fan but I loved the dubai chocolate croffle the most and the biscoff croffle was a close second. It's definitely a good option if you're planning to split with multiple people. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly very busy, especially for a rainy day. The Sweetness is no where to be found. I know there's a preferences of sweetness to places with matcha. And it just was there for me at all.
