    Pineapple fried rice
    Perlie P.

Craving pancit and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the walnut shrimp, pancit, pineapple fried rice and eggplant tofu. I was pleasantly surprised about the portion sizes, it's kind of family style. The flavor was everything we tried was fresh and fantastic! Walnut shrimp was tender and not over cooked, eggplant was perfectly cooked, fried rice was flavorful and not too oily and pancit was delicious!! Service was good, ordered at the screen and sat down to wait for my food. Food took a little bit to come out, maybe 15-20 minutes but was totally worth the wait. Will be back to try more food, drinks and halo-halo!

Ube ice cream machine was broke. Good tho otherwise!

Ordered original halo halo and the Pampanga halo halo. When we asked what it is since there's no description, the worker said " it's a dessert" lol so we ordered without knowing what it was and google said it's a simplified version of the halo halo were used to. Both were yummy! I was excited for the ube ice cream on top but their machine was broken so that was a bummer. Good overall tho and decent value for the price. Hubby liked their food as well, meat and rice plate. Owner Julie was great!!

First time here and everything looks delicious. Gonna have to come back and try out more of their desserts... We had ice scramble in the Philippines and we got excited when we saw it on their menu! Let me just tell you... The ice scramble is pretty darn close to the ones in the Philippines. Both the mango graham and the ice scramble were delicious. If had to choose, the mango graham was just plain awesome. Totally coming back for those and to try out more flavors. The fries were ok. Pretty good but hit or miss with the crunchy outside. The powder was yummy. Didn't take a new pic of their main menu coz it's the same as the one from last month. The place is cute with native looking lamp decor and lots of fans for such a tiny place (which is awesome coz it keeps the place nice and cool). The chairs are plush and so comfy to sit on. Service was friendly and fast. Have to come back here again. Curious about their savory food. Oh something to note, they charge 3% for using credit card.

Our first visit was a fun and surprising one! It was fun because when is dessert NOT fun?? We got their signature halo halo and mango sago... dessert... drink (idk, it was served in the typical boba cup but we could've eaten it as opposed to drink it). Tip for the halo halo: grab a plastic water cup from the counter and scoop the ube soft serve into it. It's a lot easier to eat that way. Oh, and a small size is more than enough for two people to share! It was surprising because we got to meet Julie, whom I assume is the matriarch of what I assume is the family run business. It was even more surprising to learn her family and mine were practically neighbors growing up in the 626, with her children going to the same high school as me, a few years before I did. So after moving to the OC and more than missing "home", it was nice finding a place with people who shared the same roots as mine. Yea, yea, the SGV isn't THAT far away, but it's far enough away. Anyways, Julie and staff welcomed us in and answered our questions. They even went a step further when at first they were out of the mango blend for the mango sago, but Julie insisted they can and would make a new batch for us. This is now officially our home for desserts. I'm a sucker for good halo halo. Thanks again for welcoming us in and we'll see you soon! Yelp Adventures 2026 - 3 of ??

    House fried rice and lumpias

My husband and I tried their house fried rice and lumpia - both were sooo good! We asked the waitress what was a recommended dish and she said their mikibihon was popular. Forgot to take a picture of it but we ordered it with chicken (instead of pork) and it was also amazing! Thanks for the great rec! Great portions and everything came out fresh. We'll be back to try the desserts as we were too full by the end of our meal haha!

Went to Halo Haus to try their desserts as the weather's getting warmer. Ordered the mango graham. It was delicious and refreshing, with just the right amount of sweetness. The mango, graham, and ice cream go really well together. The flavored fries were also great. The place is clean and spacious, the staff is welcoming, and there's plenty of parking. I'd come back again!

I went to the grand opening and it was very busy but the service was great. The owners were so kind to share Chinese donut samples and milk tea. We shared a table with sweet kababayan. The atmosphere was very welcoming and happy. Our order: tokwa't baboy, tocilog, salt and pepper fish and halo halo. Each dish was delicious. The vinegar in the tokwa't baboy perfectly balanced the juicy pork and yummy tofu. Easily a favorite. The salt and pepper fish had a little spice and good portions of fish. The tocilog came with two eggs - salamat! The halo halo balance was better than I make at home, and the small size was a generous portion. Thank you Halo Haus! We will definitely be back for more!

Perfect spot for your filipino fix we stopped before our roadtrip to the bay and we wanted a place with a sweet treat and really good and they delivered! Full huge portions of your favorite filipino AND chinese foods and filipino desserts. we will 100% be back and it was a crowd pleaser for our family. They were very accommodating and it was nice and clean inside.

Milk tea and rice, eggs and grill pork

"Stopped by for lunch " Overall great clean customer service !! The rice and eggs were fantastic. The protein was a bit dry but still very tasty ! I ordered the milk tea at 25% sweetness . Unfortunately it was a bit sweet for me and ,too warm. I believe if they serve the drink with extra ice in the cup when making the drink It would help a lot keep the drink nice and ,cold while it dissolves the sweetness when serving . I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends ! "Great food !"

I came all the way from Mission Viejo to support a Filipino business during their grand opening. Positives: The people were really nice and apologized a lot for the long wait. It was nice to see that they were busy. The food tasted good and I enjoyed it. Negatives: Surcharge for credit card use at a no cash establishment. I spent nearly $200 and couldn't wait to get home to enjoy the food but was disappointed To find that one item was missing. When I call to see if they could credit my account back I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes before I hung up. I called again a few hours later and the Line is now busy.

Milo Dinosaur, Cheese fries, Sour cream & Onion fries, and Banana con yelo (our fav!!)

I'm so glad more Filipino food is opening up in my area!! Plenty of parking and there's a kiosk and cashier up front. Food was amazing and for the portions, the price is worth it. Milo is a childhood staple for me, and I would recommend it anyone who is a chocolate lover! My friend got the banana con yelo and it was SOO GOOD and not too sweet. Their fries were nicely seasoned and I can't wait to try their other food options the next time I come :)

However, taste still matters most--some of the dishes were really good, while others could use a bit more flavor, especially seasoning. They also have desserts and snacks, though the selection isn't very extensive. The service was just okay. The girl who assisted us didn't seem very welcoming--she could definitely benefit from being more friendly and approachable, as it felt like she wasn't too interested in helping. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a typical fast food restaurant--spacious with good parking available. We might give it another try once their new location opens.

Average space in the sense it's rectangular & like any mom/pop hole in the wall. Menu was straightforward but could benefit from having a description in case you're not familiar (like my BF). * Service: the reason I'm docking by 1 star. The lady was nice, but not very attentive, & it wasn't like it was busy. We needed to ask or follow up on 2-3 things. My BF was eyeing some dessert when we were first ordering but she didn't try to sell it to us ‍ * Food: surprisingly good as it was both our first time there. He got the adobo bowl & the chicken was tender/juicy & pretty much fell off the bone. I got the tocino plate & the meat was flavorful with just the right amount of garlic in the rice. We also got one chicken skewer & one pork skewer, which was a bit smaller than I'm used to but the smoky flavor & tenderness was spot on. My only issue was the portion compared to the price. * Final Thoughts: mom/pop Filipino food that is great on flavor but leaves something to be desired with customer service. Would recommend & will return again for the food. * Final Grade: B+ or 8.5/10
