    Pork belly bbq
    Anna G.

I was definitely craving some pork belly bbq and so that's what I had to order , nothing g else! The flavor was on point and cooked to perfection. The tenderness of the pork and the sweet taste of the fatty bbq dipped in the vinegar sauce was a great combination. The place was small so get there early . Another downfall was the time it took to get our food...but then again..... meant bbq was made to order!!

Went here based on other Yelp reviews. Service was friendly and great. Their digital menu board was out so we had to use paper menus. We ordered the three bbq stick plate; two chicken, one pork. It came with a choice of rice and we got the yellow rice. It was not basmati rice but looked like it. The food was cooked to order so it took about 10 minutes. As one other reviewer noted, our meats were pretty chewy, especially the pork. Couldn't finish the pork it was so chewy and had a lot of tough fat. The chicken was tolerable, but it tasted like maybe it was old. Both had good flavor. Just wasn't expecting the chewiness.

Their BBQ Skewers were really good! I miss the taste of Mang Inasal in the Philippines that's why we went here today. Food and service were good! Clean place too.

I came to Tony's BBQ in Artesia for one reason and one reason only. Their super tasty pork and chicken skewers! My mouth is watering as I'm typing LOL. Funny, I didn't even know Tony's BBQ was located in Artesia until I saw them in passing when I was in route to the Simply Eggless Bakery - Délicieux to pick up a Black Forest eggless cake. This restaurant has a colorful and fun decor. They have inside seating. No outside seating. Their menu has a variety of food / drink / dessert options. They offer individual items and combo plates. I have been to 3 other Tony's BBQ locations and they pretty much have similar selections. Now I can say I've been to #4. The lady who took my order was very welcoming and friendly. I got 3 pork sticks and 3 chicken sticks. They were huge and tasty! Both my daughters love them. I enjoyed them, too. Chicken was good, but we liked the pork better. I think the pork soaks in the marinated sauce better than the chicken does IMHO. I'll be getting more pork sticks next time for sure. They were about $3+ per stick which isn't too bad for the amount of meat given per stick. I highly recommend Tony's BBQ if you're craving for amazing Filipino flavored foods and more. Any of their locations will do, but if you're in Artesia, then come on over to this one and support your neighbor Tony's BBQ!

Love the Java rice, beef ribs, skewer bbq with peanut sauce and $8 Taho! 1st tip: call ahead to place your order before driving out. Meal includes soup and atchara. Owner and staff are friendly, resto is clean, we noticed a steady stream of pick up orders. We will return to try the fish meals and rice cake. I took a picture of their catering menu and seems reasonable.

The lumpia was good very fresh and crispy. The BBQ chicken and pork were delicious seasoned very well and cooked to perfection.

This place has been on my list for a long time so I was thrilled to finally give it a try! The place is decorated with nostalgic Filipino items like the Mamang Sorbetero cart that transported me to a core childhood memory of the excitement of hearing the ice cream truck's signature bell. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the chicken inasal, liempo, and chicken skewers. I also got calamansi juice to drink. Chicken Inasal- The chicken was tender and juicy and had the perfect char on the outside. The basted sauce was a lovely blend of sweet and savory. Served with java rice and atchara. Liempo- This was marinated so well! The pork was tender and the fatty part simply melts in your mouth. Pairs well with the rice and atchara that gives it a burst of freshness. Chicken Skewers- Juicy chicken pieces with a sweet and tangy sauce. It was flavorful and paired beautifully with the given sides. Calamansi Juice- So refreshing! You can really taste the calamansi and it had just the right amount of sugar to make it sweet. Takes me back to the good old days of squeezing tiny calamansi limes to make a drink on a hot summer day. Such a fun meal! Would definitely recommend.

Good Filipino BBQ foods such as skewers and beef ribs with their java rice. We had our order to go and waited about 15 minutes on a Sunday. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly. The ventilation in the restaurant was a little rough as it was pretty smokey and you can smell the oils and fumes. Food itself overall was decent and cooked well, very hearty and meaty.

Been to Tony's Barbecue many times but never at this location. We were in Artesia on 8/17/25 and stopped by to get some food to go. They were really busy during lunch time. The lady at the front was nice, friendly and had really great customer service. She was thoughtful and interacted kindly with customers. The food did a while but I could see that they were busy. We ordered 3 pcs chicken, 3 chicken skewers, liempo and pancit bihon. The entrees came with rice and soup. The meats had a great barbecue taste. The bihon was a bit salty for me. But I loved how the noodles stayed together and not mushy. The restaurant was clean and modern. They also had tables for those who wanted to eat in. They are located in a plaza with plenty of parking.

My family has been craving chicken inasal for a while, so we finally decided to stop by Tony's Barbecue after passing it so many times in the 99 Ranch Plaza. What a nice treat! We ordered the chicken inasal and also the boneless chicken bbq. The chicken for both meals were incredibly tender, and the peanut sauce was the perfect complement. We also enjoyed the Java rice, it was a big hit with the group! We tried the Taho as well, which was pretty good, though I'd recommend getting it elsewhere if you're looking for a larger portion and better value. The employees were so friendly and kind, making the experience even better. While we were there, they were busy preparing party trays of bibingka, and honestly, we were so tempted to grab some. We'll definitely be back to try more!

This place has the best chicken inasal in my opinion. Super tasty and the meal comes with egg drop soup, rice, and atchara. The atchara wasn't sweet and more tarty which was okay. But what really got me melting is the authentic freshly squeezed calamansi juice. By far the best inasal and calamansi juice I've had. Service was quick and the ambiance was okay. The person who helped me was also a good dude. Salamat and I'll be back!

10/29/23 Oh yes!! Mini bibingka (bibingkinitan)
    Jennifer W.

9/25/24 Warm ube bibingka, pretty good! Much prefer the original/plain or with cream cheese. Lito was very friendly & accommodating, personable. He was forthcoming with information & tried his best to get to know me-- a plus! For being do nice, I decided to buy all the mini bibingka that he had on the warmer. Got the plain (it has cream cheese), macapuno (young coconut strings), and ube (purple yam). When we tasted the ube, it was warm & moist, Hubby didn't really like it much, it was good. The plain (with cream cheese was the better of the three for our preference. The macapuno was pretty good but the one with cream cheese gets our vote. This small restaurant is located in a small center where Daiso, Happy Bee & the 99 Ranch Market (and other businesses) is located, parking is shared. Hubby returned the next day & ordered more of the plain cream cheese bibingkinitan for himself-- although he said he bought them for me, he's sweet but I know his tricks

Tony's BBQ is now open in Artesia! What a better time to stop by then during Filipino American History Month (FAHM) to support a Filipino owned business! This spot is located in a pretty big plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 4-5 tables for seating. They have a nice cozy and homey vibe with Filipino inspired decor. For their menu, they have some amazing combo meals, side orders, and desserts. Wifey and I ended up getting the Beef Ribs Combo, Pork Liempo Combo, an Ube Bibingka, and a Sago't Gulaman to wash it all down. Everything we had came with such generous portions and the food had such a comforting taste to the soul! Overall, you cannot go wrong with anything you order here. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Tony's BBQ will definitely be an amazing addition for the local Filipino community in the Artesia/Cerritos area!

I wished they had pakbet or one veggie dish to balance out all the meat dishes. I particularly liked the longanisa, garlic fried rice, tinolang, daing, champorado, and their fruit salad. He took our order pretty quick, the food came out fresh & didn't take long, he checked on us a good amount of times, & we never felt rushed. * Food: we got lumpia, garlic rice, pork sisig, & adobo. The lumpia was crispy & had decent flavor, but could've used slightly more spices in the meat mix. The garlic rice was good/standard. The adobo had a nice flavor but could've used more vinegar IMO. The sisig was perfect & juicy, though didn't come with lemon or egg (though lemon provided on request). * Final Thoughts: averaged price but for sure yummy Filipino food with good service that's sure to hit the spot.
