Searched for pinoy food options in Artesia and Daniela's Kitchenette actually was the top option. They are located inside Fresh Catch Supermarket. They have a small selection, but everything is very good. This was perfect for my friend and I. We each ordered the special combo with 2 items which starts at $ 14.99. We ordered 4 different items (Kare- Kare, Pork Sinigang, Sisig, Menudo) and happy to report, not only were the portions generous but all 4 dishes were 5/5. I overheard 1 customer saying their BBQ here is the best, will have to try that next time. Would definitely come back here again.

This place is so good if you want Filipino food. Came around 11am. Their breakfast platter had ended but I got the special combo that's $15 and comes with rice and 2 dishes. All the dishes are well seasoned and go great with rice. The people working there were super nice as well. The guy that helped us gave us recommendations that were on point. The dining area is pretty big since it looks like they're the only restaurant. Tables were clean and it's easy to navigate around. The restaurant is located inside the grocery store but apparently they open early and there's a side entrance you can use if the grocery store isn't open yet. Will def be back since they have a large selection of foods.

Food was ok, but doesn't really compare to Pinoy Pinay or some of the other filipino food places in the area. I've heard that the breakfast is better, but we missed it by 15 minutes. We got the adobo and the skewer but they were both not really great. Might try again one day for breakfast just to see if that's better.

Found this hidden gem this morning. The Pilipino breakfast was delicious and fresh, fairly priced at $8.49 per plate. The lugaw (rice soup) was tasty. It is located inside an Asian market. They open at 7AM, but the market doesn't open until 8AM. I almost drive away, but I'm glad I called because the nice lady who answered told me that the entrance is on the right side of the building - a small door down an alley that I would not have known about. I will go back to try other entrees.

Two item combo. Grilled pork, Jeprox (salted, dried smelt fish) with garlic rice ( $13.99): typical but comfort food, 8/10 rating.

Went here on a Friday morning because I was craving Asian food after primarily eating American food for the past 4 days on a cruise ship. There were already a ton of options to choose from despite arriving there at 9:45 am. Two item combo. Grilled pork, Jeprox (salted, dried smelt fish) with garlic rice ( $13.99): the pork was tender and juicy with a decent amount of fat. The jeprox was crispy with the typical salty flavor, but it was even better when vinegar was added. The garlic fried rice was fluffy with mild garlic flavor. Overall, it was an 8/10 rating. The ambiance is relaxed, as it is on the right side within the grocery store with plenty of tables to dine in, and about half of the patrons take their food to go. The service was fast and attentive. I'd return here after my next cruise.

I came here with my husband because he was craving a Filipino breakfast. This place is located inside of fresh catch. When you walk in, it's towards the right side. The service was fast. You point at what you want, and they scoop it up for you. They had a wide variety of food but ran out of Longanisa before 930a.

Chayote, tofu & shrimp dish. Very yummy.

The workers were friendly and the food took about 25min to be ready from the time that we ordered. I've only ever had to go from here but I am told that the portions are larger if you're dining in. We ordered sinigang and kare kare. Both came in a very large portion size and the two dishes were enough for 4-5 people. The flavors were good and they tasted even better the next day. They gave plenty of meat in both dishes. It was a good experience over all and I would like to dine in next time to get the full experience.

TLDR: It's an overpriced buffet for $25 given the options. If they'd drop the price to..... $20,…read morebut more realistically $23, it MIGHT be worth it. I also feel that the place would be better if they included all the staple Filipino breakfast items (Pandesal, Corned beef, Filipino hotdog, bangus). The taste is arguably 4 stars, but the price point drops the overall feeling to 3-3.5 stars. Food Tocino - It's fine. It tasted kind of store bought, but I think it's good enough to get a few times. Longganisa - It's just.... bad. They were trying to go for the sweet style longganisa, but it missed the spot completely. Beef Tapa - Probably the best option from the viands made available. It's the right blend of saltiness and sourness. The beef also had a good texture. Garlic Rice - I'm glad they didn't mess up one of the cornerstones of Filipino breakfast. It could've been better, but the general quality of the food here was already low enough that it made this one of the better items. Pancit Guisado - Dry, filled with starch filled lobster balls, and could generally use some more stuff in it. I regret getting this and should've eaten more garlic rice Fried Shrimp - I'm glad it's easy to peel, but the shrimp itself is generally flavorless. Egg - I was scared that these mass produced eggs may not have had a runny yolk, but I'm glad to see enough liquid to praise it Tokwa't baboy - The bronze medalist of the meal. The fried tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork belly is on the drier end, but it's small enough that it's not hard to eat. Nilaga - Good. Probably my favorite bite. It's seasoned well, the beef is soft, and there's a good amount of vegetables. Champorado - Decent. Shame that I didn't see the milk when I was getting it. Maybe they ran out, maybe they were refilling it as I was getting. Buko Pandan - Very good. Is it store bought? Maybe. It doesn't matter, still good. Service: You pay first before you're assigned a table. There are a lot of staff who are there to keep the tables clean and to mix the food every now and then to prevent the tray from drying out. Ambiance: Bright, spacious, and inviting. A very good place to have Sunday breakfast / brunch.

All of the food was really good and the portion size is decent. Even after a 30 minute drive back to the office, the pork belly was still nice and crispy. The texture on the sisig might be a little weird for some people, but it was actually really good. The rice was a little too sticky, but it went really well with the protein and some of the sauces they give you. Really simple menu and the lady taking the order was really patient and friendly. Food also came out pretty quickly even though the place started getting really busy when we left around 11:30. Check this place out if you're in the area.

A local gem!…read more Ordered a pound each of the Fried Pork Belly (Kawali) and Roasted Pork Belly (Cebuchon). Total summed up to a little over $50.00. Wasted no time sampling the food as soon as it was served. There is only outdoor seating, so we had to chase some flies away while tasting everything. Each order had crispy skin and came with a side of sauce that was sweet and slightly sour. My favorite was definitely the Cebuchon. Such tender, savory meat! After driving +40 minutes, the skin still had a nice exterior. I do like how minimal their menu is - you can tell they are pork-oriented. I can definitely see myself visiting again or even ordering a catering tray for the holidays.

The space itself is large & clean with dark wood/dark tones & splashes of gold in the front decor, & plenty of windows for natural light. He took our order pretty quick, the food came out fresh & didn't take long, he checked on us a good amount of times, & we never felt rushed. * Food: we got lumpia, garlic rice, pork sisig, & adobo. The lumpia was crispy & had decent flavor, but could've used slightly more spices in the meat mix. The garlic rice was good/standard. The adobo had a nice flavor but could've used more vinegar IMO. The sisig was perfect & juicy, though didn't come with lemon or egg (though lemon provided on request). * Final Thoughts: averaged price but for sure yummy Filipino food with good service that's sure to hit the spot. Flavor could be stronger in some aspects, but would recommend & would definitely return. * Final Grade: B+ or 8.5/10
