It's called Tapa, and really I find the flavors to hit like Coffee waking you up. They open at 7AM and by 9 that particular Menu item is out. If I have to go anywhere near South Street on the 605 I'm calling ahead to order a Plate. The Garlic rice is also very good here and pairs well with the Beef. Everything they sell from this place is on point. It was my first time trying their food this weekend and I can assure you its super delish. The lechon kawali, the menudo, the pork liempo, the arroz caldo, the fresh lumpia and the nilaga. The ates in this place are very nice and sweet too. 10/10 customer service for me. You can tell that they enjoy what they are doing. They are also not stingy with the food portions. So, come check them out and Im sure you wont regret it. read more

This restaurant is found inside the Fresh Catch market on South street & Pioneer in Cerritos. Once you enter through the double doors of Fresh Catch, make an immediate right to a small pathway to find a nice hole in a wall find of a restaurant. The find is quite serendipitous as you'll find that it has a nice seating area where they once fed many customers delicious Signature Filipino dishes. I personally love their Filipino breakfast menu w/ the traditional Filipino longanisa, eggs, Tocino, tortang talong, and porridge's. I find myself frequently coming back for their lunch menu Grilled swordfish, it is sooo tender and delicious. I GREATLY recommend stopping by if your craving above average Filipino dishes that are given in great portions by very nice and welcoming restaurant staff. This place is located inside Fresh Catch seafood market. It used to be called Azon's when they had their stand alone restaurant then they rebranded once they moved to Fresh Catch. Best place to go for Filipino breakfast and if you want to order a tray of lumpia shanghai. I always order a tray of 100 for parties and it comes out to ~$42. FYI. Less than $10 is cash only. You'd have to buy something at the grocery store in order to get cash back. Otherwise I don't believe there's an ATM nearby. read more

I wish I had looked up sooner to discover Daniela's. I was craving a quick and easy Filipino breakfast and happened to stumble upon Daniela's when I was waiting for my sea salt coffee at 85°. When I saw that it was down the street, I knew I had to make a stop and so happy I did! I got the breakfast plate with two (heaping) scoops of garlic fried rice, a fried egg, and longonisa. All that for $9.30 and it was so much food I ate half for breakfast and half for lunch. (Let's be real though, I could've finished all of it for breakfast but I wanted to save some). And the customer service was so friendly, they felt like family. I had arrived at 10:03am and technically breakfast stopped at 10am but they took care of me and fried up a fresh egg. And i had sabow to take with me as well and it was so good to sip while enjoying my breakfast. So appreciative of the details. Can't wait to go back. Thank you!! read more

Their Lechon kawali is the best I've ever had; it's so crispy and decadent that it still maintains its crunch hours later (based on my numerous experiences ordering it through takeout). Beyond the Lechon kawali, I've tried their Bistek Tagalog, pancit, ginataang na gulay, ampalaya, & several of their breakfast foods, all of which are delicious as well. I love this restaurant's style of cooking, you could tell the chefs know what they're doing. It also helps that the service is impeccably quick. My family and I decided to throw a last minute party and they had 2 trays of food ready for us within 5 minutes of ordering, impressive. Rock solid, satisfying Filipino food. Everyone was going nuts over the Lechon Kawali. I'm usually not into fish (except for sushi) but I tried their grilled swordfish and oh man, it was the bomb dot com. You can tell if the restaurant is good when you see a lot of elders around you. I like this place because they open early for my breakfast cravings and not only that... the food taste great and it doesn't seem reheated food from yesterday. I have only had the chance to come here for breakfast and have had the beef tapa, pork Tocino and the Bangus for the breakfast combo meal. Tocino hits the spot for me, tapa is ok and bangus is ok too. They offer coffee with your breakfast combo but I am not a coffee drinker. The water pitchers are a nice touch. read more

we tried it once, the nilagang baka is so tasteful but the customer service sucks, the server is rude i tried to request if i could add an egg on my longanissa and fried rice, i am willing to pay for an extra but she keeps on saying breakfast is over.
