Searched for pinoy food options in Artesia and Daniela's Kitchenette actually was the top option. They are located inside Fresh Catch Supermarket. They have a small selection, but everything is very good. This was perfect for my friend and I. We each ordered the special combo with 2 items which starts at $ 14.99. We ordered 4 different items (Kare- Kare, Pork Sinigang, Sisig, Menudo) and happy to report, not only were the portions generous but all 4 dishes were 5/5. I overheard 1 customer saying their BBQ here is the best, will have to try that next time. Would definitely come back here again.

This place is so good if you want Filipino food. Came around 11am. Their breakfast platter had ended but I got the special combo that's $15 and comes with rice and 2 dishes. All the dishes are well seasoned and go great with rice. The people working there were super nice as well. The guy that helped us gave us recommendations that were on point. The dining area is pretty big since it looks like they're the only restaurant. Tables were clean and it's easy to navigate around. The restaurant is located inside the grocery store but apparently they open early and there's a side entrance you can use if the grocery store isn't open yet. Will def be back since they have a large selection of foods.

Food was ok, but doesn't really compare to Pinoy Pinay or some of the other filipino food places in the area. I've heard that the breakfast is better, but we missed it by 15 minutes. We got the adobo and the skewer but they were both not really great. Might try again one day for breakfast just to see if that's better.

Found this hidden gem this morning. The Pilipino breakfast was delicious and fresh, fairly priced at $8.49 per plate. The lugaw (rice soup) was tasty. It is located inside an Asian market. They open at 7AM, but the market doesn't open until 8AM. I almost drive away, but I'm glad I called because the nice lady who answered told me that the entrance is on the right side of the building - a small door down an alley that I would not have known about. I will go back to try other entrees.

I came here with my husband because he was craving a Filipino breakfast. This place is located inside of fresh catch. When you walk in, it's towards the right side. The service was fast. You point at what you want, and they scoop it up for you. They had a wide variety of food but ran out of Longanisa before 930a.

Two item combo. Grilled pork, Jeprox (salted, dried smelt fish) with garlic rice ( $13.99): typical but comfort food, 8/10 rating.

Went here on a Friday morning because I was craving Asian food after primarily eating American food for the past 4 days on a cruise ship. There were already a ton of options to choose from despite arriving there at 9:45 am. Two item combo. Grilled pork, Jeprox (salted, dried smelt fish) with garlic rice ( $13.99): the pork was tender and juicy with a decent amount of fat. The jeprox was crispy with the typical salty flavor, but it was even better when vinegar was added. The garlic fried rice was fluffy with mild garlic flavor. Overall, it was an 8/10 rating. The ambiance is relaxed, as it is on the right side within the grocery store with plenty of tables to dine in, and about half of the patrons take their food to go. The service was fast and attentive. I'd return here after my next cruise.

Chayote, tofu & shrimp dish. Very yummy.

I wished they had pakbet or one veggie dish to balance out all the meat dishes. I particularly liked the longanisa, garlic fried rice, tinolang, daing, champorado, and their fruit salad. Their coffee was good too. About $25 for AYCE wasn't too bad at all for what we got.

Spicy fried chicken wings - 100/5, this was on their new menu. My favorite entree I had, they must have brined the chicken in vinegar? Because it was tangy/sour and the spicy, salty batter was sooo MASARAP!!! I loved the flavor profiles! Pork sisig - 4/5, good flavor but I prefer the creamy version so I'll add some mayonnaise at home! Shrimp sinigang - 5/5, VERY tasty! I like how sour the broth is and not too fishy. He took our order pretty quick, the food came out fresh & didn't take long, he checked on us a good amount of times, & we never felt rushed. * Food: we got lumpia, garlic rice, pork sisig, & adobo. The lumpia was crispy & had decent flavor, but could've used slightly more spices in the meat mix. The garlic rice was good/standard. The adobo had a nice flavor but could've used more vinegar IMO. The sisig was perfect & juicy, though didn't come with lemon or egg (though lemon provided on request). * Final Thoughts: averaged price but for sure yummy Filipino food with good service that's sure to hit the spot.
