    Spam, Bulgogi, Shrimp

My son and I stumbled upon Musubi Square and decided to check it out. We ordered the Spam, two Bulgogi, and the Crunchy Shrimp musubi. My son tried them one by one, and when he finally got to the shrimp, his face instantly lit up -- that one was a clear winner. Great flavor and really well executed. The Bulgogi was the only miss for us; the meat was a bit tough, and the portion sizes overall felt a little small for the price. Still, the experience was good enough that we'll be back again soon.

It was a little difficult to find but I'm SO glad we did! A cute little shop ran by just 2 people that day, good amount of parking and seating on the inside if you plan on staying. Despite us going during the lunch rush we were able to order and receive our food in a timely manner. Ordered 2 tacos and 3 musubi. Spicy crab and regular crab musubi were great! Spicy does have a kick to it, nothing insane. Crispy soft shell crab was also good! Tasted fresh and the crispiness of the soft shell crab was not impacted at all. Crispy Shrimp Musubi Taco was new! I did not taste it but my friend said it was very good! The standout for me was the Crispy Calamari Musubi Taco. Fresh, fried perfectly and had the perfect ingredients. Would absolutely come back just for this alone. The menu picture I posted is updated with some new items! Be sure to check them out and support!

I kept on seeing this place on various social media platforms and wanted to love it. But I feel like it fell short for me. My sister and I tried the crunchy crumble shrimp taco musubi and the grilled unagi taco musubi. I'll admit the outer taco shell has a nice crunch to it, yet I expected more than just a panko shrimp tempura placed on top of the rice. The grilled unagi was definitely better than the shrimp in taste and quantity-wise. Service is decent. We went in when it was lunch time, so it seemed pretty busy with just the owner and one other worker. We waited for around 15-20 minutes for two tacos. The price point for one taco musubi is pretty steep within the $9-$12 range, so it's not something I would probably get again. The ambiance also doesn't give much considering all the items that should be in a storage where either in their hallway towards the restroom or in the actual restroom on a rack. Few seats to dine in but seemed like people were doing more take out and ordered ahead.

F O O D I see what the hype is all about! The crispy seaweed shell was light and airy. I got the grilled eel, crispy calamari and the normal mushy and the eel was my absolute favorite! The calamari was really crispy and generous, but it was a bit too oily for my liking. The musubi was just your average musubi, but I would definitely come back for the eel and to try the other options. S E R V I C E The service was your typical get in and get out. Straightforward and to the point. There was only one cashier and one cook, but it seemed like they had a constant stream of online orders going on. L O C A T I O N The area was pretty nondescript and sort of hidden away. There is plenty of parking which is great, but OMG there was absolutely no ventilation going on in the restaurant! It was about 80 outside and felt like a hotbox inside.

This is decent for what it is and the review is strictly for the musubis. For the price you pay, they're a little small compared to other places I have been to. But they're pretty tasty and I would say it's worth the first try. They charge you extra for the sauce, but hey, it's 2026 I guess. I can't find myself craving this place and going out my way to try it again. If anything, I will come back and try the bowls or tacos they have on the menu.

Musubi Square in Anaheim is hands down one of my favorite spots when I'm craving something unique and flavorful. Their Taco Musubi is such a creative twist, and it seriously delivers on taste. I've tried pretty much all of them, and I can confidently say my top three are the Korean BBQ Short Ribs, the Wagyu Feta Taco, and the Crispy Calamari Taco. Each one has its own standout flavor, the short ribs are rich and savory, the wagyu feta combo is perfectly balanced, and the calamari has that crispy texture that just hits right. Everything tastes fresh, well-made, and packed with flavor. If you're in Anaheim and want something different from the usual, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Yummmm! Found out about Musubi Square from an influencer on Insta. Looked so good I had to take my son and I to check it out. It's part of a small street mall with enough parking in the front. Ordering was quite simple and our food came out nice and fresh. Everything was so delicious and tastey. I loved it so much I came the next day. Please note - There is no working restroom and there are a few seats inside. On both days it was a bit warm inside but not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend!

Musubi Square was a bit of a mixed experience for me. It's in a strip mall with plenty of parking, and the menu is simple with musubi, rice bowls, and sides. We ordered the spam, bulgogi, and crispy soft shell crab musubi, plus the wagyu feta taco and grilled uni taco. The food was actually surprisingly good, especially the crispy soft shell crab musubi and the tacos. What hurt the experience was the dine-in side. The space is small, not very inviting, and honestly not the cleanest. Some tables were dirty, one had a dirty apron left on it, and the bathroom was out of order. Food was 4 stars, but the establishment itself felt more like 2 stars, so I'm landing at 3 overall. My advice: order it to go.

I've been a fan of Musubi Square for quite some time because I consistently receive good, efficient service. And the food never disappoints! This evening I tried one of the tacos (shrimp) for the first time and absolutely loved it. The seaweed held it all together and the crunchy, savory shrimp was amazing. Now I have to try the tacos too!

OMG. Been wanting to visit Musubi Square for a while, and I'm so happy I finally did. There is some seating inside a you can also take to go. We got a spam musubi ($3) and a beef bulgogi musubi ($7) to go. They were both a generous size, and they cut them in half which was great. Both were delicious, but I'm partial to spam. It was the best I've ever had! I will definitely be back for a 3 spam musubi for $7 deal.

Fast causal dining with quick service and great prices considering the portions. The food was fresh and had great flavors. Quick and easy ordering but saw a lot of incoming to-go order. Lots of parking available and a few tables inside. Will be back to try the tacos! Don't be fooled by the pictures online the true size of the tacos are much larger. Family friendly and good quick lunch stop.

Kept seeing this place on Instagram for their unique musubi tacos so we came to try it out We got there around 12:45PM on a Sunday and no one else was there for dine in at that time. Turns out there were multiple online orders that they were working on, so we did not get our food until 1:15PM. 30 min wait for a fast causal place is pretty long, maybe they can use additional staff for rush hour. A lot of people came in after us and had to wait even longer They've added new musubi taco options including Korean BBQ short rib, yuzu pork rib, and crunchy shrimp along with their original wagyu feta, unagi, and calamari options We went with the wagyu feta, unagi, calamari, and yuzu pork. They all had a nice crispy fried seaweed shell that stayed crispy the whole time! Each taco was also generously stuffed - they did not skimp on the fillings at all! The calamari and unagi tasted similar since they both had the same teriyaki sauce on them. A little more classic flavor profile, kinda similar to sushi The wagyu feta honestly reminded me of the chipotle carne asada marinade - lots of flavor and spices, and the feta added a sharp creaminess to the meat. A tasty combo! The yuzu pork was my partner's favorite, probably the most unique flavor, nice sweet and savory combo that paired well with the cabbage slaw on top Interior was small, just a few tables to sit at. Seems like most people were ordering from delivery apps. If they hire up additional staff to reduce the wait, would've been 5 stars from me. Overall glad I tried it, maybe would come back if we were looking for a snack in the area

This is my go-to spot for musubis and rice bowls. They have a variety of musubis, such as Spam, Crab (mild/spicy), Bulgogi BBQ (beef), Truffle Grilled Veggie, Crunchy Shrimp, Miso Salmon, Crispy Soft Shell Crab, and Wagyu Beef. They also have Taco Musubi: Wagyu Feta, Grilled Unagi (freshwater eel) and Crispy Calamari. The seaweed acts like a tortilla, which is why it's called "Taco" Musubi. I've also tried their spicy rice cake and carbonara rice cake ($7/each). I love how the price is so affordable. From the musubi menu, I've tried Spam, both the mild and spicy Crab, Miso Salmon, and Bulgogi BBQ. From the rice bowl menu, I've only tried the Miso Salmon, which comes with Brussels sprouts. The reason why I haven't tried any other bowls was because the Miso Salmon is so delicious that I always end up sticking with this rice bowl. I do want to try the Honey Garlic Pork if I feel adventurous next time!
