Trio spam at the top box, and then in order top to bottom for the second box is miso Salmon, bulgogi, and Crispy Soft Shell Crab
    Nicole P.

Easy parking, small spot, a few tables. We grabbed a few different musubis. - The trio spam, which was smaller pieces of spam musubi, each with different sauces. - miso salmon, this was my favorite as it had the most flavor and tasted the most fresh. It just fell apart after the first bite though. - beef bulgogi musubi, my fiancé's favorite one. A little on the dry side to me, but tasted good still. - soft shell crab musubi, it's exactly that. I think this would benefit maybe with some furikake flakes or something to add a little more flavor, but otherwise, it was still good. These were a little more on the pricey side compared to other places, but we were in the area, and needed something close by, and regardless we still left feeling satisfied and tummy full!

Had this place bookmarked for a while and it did not disappoint. The KBBQ Short Rib Musubi Taco was probably my favorite--the meat was flavorful, juicy, and paired so well with the musubi concept. The Wagyu Feta Taco was another standout and had a really nice combination of rich and salty flavors that worked surprisingly well together. What I appreciated most is that there wasn't a weak item. Sometimes fusion concepts can be hit or miss, but everything here felt well executed and thoughtfully put together. The food was fresh, the flavors were bold, and I already have a list of things I want to come back and try next time. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Anaheim.

Was nervous because of the mixed reviews for this place but glad we decided to try it. Order was ready pretty quick from ordering = ~15min. It's a small restaurant with nice workers. We actually went twice because we liked it that much. First time they were out of the short ribs and we opted for another wagyu feta roll. In total we tried the eel, wagyu feta, calimari, short rib musubi tacos, spicy crab musubi and soft shell musubi. Felt like the tacos were more worth it in terms of quantity and quality versus the musubi which needed more filling but good crab taste. The eel was amazingggggg! We got it both times. The taco shell is so crispy and has a nice umami aroma. The eel was plentiful and tender and had such a good saucey flavor. The Wagyu feta wasn't our favorite. The meat was fine not super tender or anything and the feta threw us off. Probably wouldn't order that again. The calamari was pretty, crispy and tender. The short rib was also really good. Nicely marinated and just as tender as the wagyu. Also getting some chunks of the fat was nice. Eel number 1!

First visit. The lady was kind while ordering, asking our questions. Got two bowls, a taco and a few musabi 's. We waited about 10mins for the food. Seemed they weee busy overall. Mostly people getting food to go or DoorDash. Everything was very good. The taco was unique, the spicy one. (Only thing on the menu that's spicy) Glad to try something different. Flavorful and a little kick, . The leftover musabi will take for Disneyland tomorrow , hoping will be fine! We will return.

This is from FAKA's Island Grill in Torrance- they serve 2 delightful sauces with 1 musubi!!!

Negatives :It's dirty. All Tables were dirty, none were cleaned in the course of my visit. No service- no interaction other than to take order and payment, feels like it's a bother. Musubi is ok- definitely not special. They serve barely 1oz of some liquid sauce for 8 musubi. They charge for any additional sauce. $68 worth of food should have a sauce or 2. FAKA's Island Grill in Torrance- they serve 2 delightful sauces with 1 musubi!!! Positives: The tacos were good , all the meat was cooked well and had great flavor. The calamari one was ok, it was crunchy and the sauce made it successful.

    Spam, Bulgogi, Shrimp

My son and I stumbled upon Musubi Square and decided to check it out. We ordered the Spam, two Bulgogi, and the Crunchy Shrimp musubi. My son tried them one by one, and when he finally got to the shrimp, his face instantly lit up -- that one was a clear winner. Great flavor and really well executed. The Bulgogi was the only miss for us; the meat was a bit tough, and the portion sizes overall felt a little small for the price. Still, the experience was good enough that we'll be back again soon.

I kept on seeing this place on various social media platforms and wanted to love it. But I feel like it fell short for me. My sister and I tried the crunchy crumble shrimp taco musubi and the grilled unagi taco musubi. I'll admit the outer taco shell has a nice crunch to it, yet I expected more than just a panko shrimp tempura placed on top of the rice. The grilled unagi was definitely better than the shrimp in taste and quantity-wise. Service is decent. We went in when it was lunch time, so it seemed pretty busy with just the owner and one other worker. We waited for around 15-20 minutes for two tacos. The price point for one taco musubi is pretty steep within the $9-$12 range, so it's not something I would probably get again. The ambiance also doesn't give much considering all the items that should be in a storage where either in their hallway towards the restroom or in the actual restroom on a rack. Few seats to dine in but seemed like people were doing more take out and ordered ahead.

Sooo good! I wanted to try their musubi tacos because I've never seen anything like it before. I had their crunchy shrimp one and my friend got the unagi one. Both were so flavorful and the texture is crazy. The seaweed "taco" shell is so crispy and perfectly salted. I loved the sauce that comes with the shrimp one. I also had their regular musubi and those are also delicious, pretty straightforward. The taco was pretty filling and reasonably priced. Genuinely would love to come back again.

It was a little difficult to find but I'm SO glad we did! A cute little shop ran by just 2 people that day, good amount of parking and seating on the inside if you plan on staying. Despite us going during the lunch rush we were able to order and receive our food in a timely manner. Ordered 2 tacos and 3 musubi. Spicy crab and regular crab musubi were great! Spicy does have a kick to it, nothing insane. Crispy soft shell crab was also good! Tasted fresh and the crispiness of the soft shell crab was not impacted at all. Crispy Shrimp Musubi Taco was new! I did not taste it but my friend said it was very good! The standout for me was the Crispy Calamari Musubi Taco. Fresh, fried perfectly and had the perfect ingredients. Would absolutely come back just for this alone. The menu picture I posted is updated with some new items! Be sure to check them out and support!

Musubi Square in Anaheim is hands down one of my favorite spots when I'm craving something unique and flavorful. Their Taco Musubi is such a creative twist, and it seriously delivers on taste. I've tried pretty much all of them, and I can confidently say my top three are the Korean BBQ Short Ribs, the Wagyu Feta Taco, and the Crispy Calamari Taco. Each one has its own standout flavor, the short ribs are rich and savory, the wagyu feta combo is perfectly balanced, and the calamari has that crispy texture that just hits right. Everything tastes fresh, well-made, and packed with flavor. If you're in Anaheim and want something different from the usual, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

F O O D I see what the hype is all about! The crispy seaweed shell was light and airy. I got the grilled eel, crispy calamari and the normal mushy and the eel was my absolute favorite! The calamari was really crispy and generous, but it was a bit too oily for my liking. The musubi was just your average musubi, but I would definitely come back for the eel and to try the other options. S E R V I C E The service was your typical get in and get out. Straightforward and to the point. There was only one cashier and one cook, but it seemed like they had a constant stream of online orders going on. L O C A T I O N The area was pretty nondescript and sort of hidden away. There is plenty of parking which is great, but OMG there was absolutely no ventilation going on in the restaurant! It was about 80 outside and felt like a hotbox inside.

This is decent for what it is and the review is strictly for the musubis. For the price you pay, they're a little small compared to other places I have been to. But they're pretty tasty and I would say it's worth the first try. They charge you extra for the sauce, but hey, it's 2026 I guess. I can't find myself craving this place and going out my way to try it again. If anything, I will come back and try the bowls or tacos they have on the menu.

Yummmm! Found out about Musubi Square from an influencer on Insta. Looked so good I had to take my son and I to check it out. It's part of a small street mall with enough parking in the front. Ordering was quite simple and our food came out nice and fresh. Everything was so delicious and tastey. I loved it so much I came the next day. Please note - There is no working restroom and there are a few seats inside. On both days it was a bit warm inside but not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend!

The rice was only $2 which is rlly nice. the ribeye was ordered medium rare and come out perfectly. While the center of the ribeye was lacking a little flavor and the crust wasnt the best, the cap of the ribeye was cooked beautifully and actually tasted very good. I've had many steaks while dining and this was the first steak to be cooked so evenly, and have flavor without overseasoning. The sleeper item of this whole meal however was the mash potatoes. extremely creamy, smooth, and rich. we also ordered the calamari as an appetizer (pictured not included) and the sauce was good, the calamari itself was okay in terms of taste, but the presentation was unique. it was the first time ive ever had to cut up my own calamari. scissors were given with the dish, and instead of the typical rings, it was more like whole squids fried up.

After last night I was ready to just write this place off and move on. Then I checked my bank…read morestatement today and saw that my tip had been increased by $10 after the fact. That is where this crosses from bad service into outright shady behavior. We came in as a group for dinner and the experience was mediocre at best. The restaurant was so dark we had to ask for additional lamps, which didn't even stay on. The service button at the table didn't work, so we repeatedly had to flag down the two servers. Water refills were forgotten. Basic attentiveness was missing. Nothing about the service justified anything beyond "okay." Our server eventually replenished our onions and broth, and perhaps that single "heroic" act went to her head- because after we paid and were already heading to our car, she ran out after our group. Our server, ASHLEY ran out to the parking lot to tell me my total was incorrect. I had accidentally written $170 instead of $178 due to a minor handwriting error. Understandable- so I corrected it immediately. That should have been the end of it. But it wasn't. She then had the audacity to question why her tip was "only 7%." I told her the service was just okay and we left. No argument, no scene- but it was already inappropriate and unprofessional to confront customers about their tip in the first place. What's completely unacceptable is what happened next. The finalized charge posted as $188- not the corrected $178. That means she added an extra $10 to my tip without my consent. Let's be clear: that is not a "mistake," that is altering a signed receipt and helping yourself to someone else's money. For context, my intended tip was $14.95- about 10% of the subtotal. More than fair for the level of service we received. Tips are optional, not owed and certainly not something a server gets to revise after the fact because they feel entitled to more. This was downright tacky, dishonest, and a complete breach of trust. I have already filed a dispute with my bank as I have a picture of what I signed before leaving the restaurant and I strongly recommend others check their receipts carefully and document it before leaving as well. But if you are smart, you would avoid an establishment that employs such an abhorrent server with no integrity or shame. Do better.
