As I was looking for a coffee shop, I came across this place and was immediately impressed by how clean everything was. I was a little unsure of what to order, but Mandy was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the menu and give me great recommendations. One thing that really stood out to me was that they don't accept tips because they pay their employees well. Especially here in LA, where tipping culture has gotten a bit out of hand, I really respect and appreciate their approach. I hope more customers support businesses like this. Overall, this is an easy five-star review in my opinion. As a Yelp Elite, I hope this place gets the recognition and customers it deserves. I'll definitely be back!

A rarity these days to find a 'No Tip' point of sale terminal.

Dropped off a friend at UCI for a two hour procedure. I had time and matcha cravings to kill and Easy Young was the nearest that popped up in my Yelp search bar. As usual, I first inquire for the most popular matcha drink and the friendly female staff member posed a question to my question: "Do you like your matcha creamy?" to which I replied a resounding affirmative. She pointed to the first two items on the menu and I picked Matcha Banoffee - hand whisked ceremonial grade matcha with oat milk partnered with banana toffee cloud. "I hope you like it" as she handed my caffeinated iced beverage. "I like it!", I said after the first sip. Easy Young is a mere four months old yet they get busy during lunch hours and just recently started serving dinner seven days a week! The space, and number of tables certainly proves they can accommodate the crowds. This is their very first location and working hard to keep customers happy so more people find out through organic word of mouth marketing! The owners may be easy and young but their clientele spans the ages. Go discover it yourself!

This spot exceeded our expectations!! We came for lunch just right after the lunch rush and ordered the Steak Frites which the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare with such a unique Szechuan inspired flavor that made it stand out. The fries were super crispy and it's honestly rare to find a steak dish this good outside of a traditional steakhouse! You're able to customize your bowl almost like asian chipotle style where you can pick out what to include in your bowl. We tried the signature Char Siu Bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and felt like the perfect healthy balance to the meal. Really loved the purple rice + sesame dressing! They really do asian fusion dishes the right way! We initially actually came for the drinks that just came out, and every single one was so good. The Matcha Einspanner, Mont Blanc, Black Marble, and Golden Hour were each so unique and worth trying, especially their cream tops! The Golden Hour was my favorite with its caramelized banana flavor and banoffee cold foam, while the Black Sesame had chocolate, walnut, and a rich nutty taste that I really really liked! Everything came out quickly, the indoor seating area is surprisingly so spacious, and the service was friendly and attentive! A special shoutout to Mandy who was so kind and informative made the experience even better. She offered the kind of service that wanted us to tip, but they actually don't accept tips here! They truly want to serve the best quality of food and genuine service. There's so much seating, its perfect for studying, quick lunch on the go, date night and more! Definitely coming back soon!

Wow, great company. That provides great service and food. Prices are on average, but at least they do not force tipping down your throat like these other restaurants. Location is clean and the AC runs at at least a 68-70 degrees. Soups are flavorful

Don't know what this was from the platters but my favorite

The food here was really tasty and everything was super delicious! Super sad that we came in around the time they were closing, we had the plates, the waygu steak fries that were really gooodd, fatty, but amazing! The fries dipped and juices were amazing, I also really loved their lemonade options, had about 5 cups of their lemon grass lemonade and took one home! Very friendly service that welcomed us in and gave us good recommendations too, the place itself was pretty empty but the whole atmosphere was super cozy! Hidden gem

Tried out Easy young first time today passed by several times so I gave it a go! Around 4pm and not a sound in sight. Order a couple apps ordered the crispy dumplings, Waygu steak frites, and the hot honey crisp baby back ribs. Bo the the Waygu and baby back ribs came on a bed of the delicious battered fries. Started with Waygu steak frites and the sauce which was a house scezhuan peppercorn sauce was delicious. The Waygu left a little to be desired as it was cooked very rare. The crispy dumplings were nice with a chili crisp dipping sauce that was very tasty. And the honey crisp baby back ribs were fall off the bone well cooked. Service was quick and efficient and host asked how everything was. Good overall was good only issue was the price. A little high for fast casual and I think this may be the deterrent to some people. Overall a 4 for quality of food and freshness but the price I would've given a 3. Hope for the best for a local restaurant!

Love that there are healthy Asian food options in the area! Ordered the lemongrass chicken bowl and portion was great - they also don't expect you to tip them (there's not even an option to tip) great place to stop by for lunch when feeling like you want a nutritious and healthy meal. Chicken was just a tiny bit dry but overall the bowl was delicious!!

I saw they added cafe style drinks to the menu so I stopped by for a matcha einspanner! My standards for matcha are pretty high since OC has so many good spots so I was excited to see that their matcha here is ceremonial grade, first harvest, and hand whisked. Overall, the flavor was good and the drink was well balanced with the cream and the sweetness level was great and not too sweet! It was smooth and not grainy at all and I love that it's made with oat milk by default! I do wish that the matcha flavor was stronger though, it is definitely lighter than I expected. With tax the drink came out to about $8.60, so I did expect a stronger matcha flavor for the price. Looking forward to seeing if they improve over time :)

Only tried their drinks we had the Golden Hour and Matcha Latte. Golden Hour was delicious, I would order it again. Matcha Latte was okay, not enough match flavor kinda tasted like those presented matcha powders. Restaurant was clean, service was mid. Maybe I'll try their food one of these days.

lots of seating and surprised it was empty when we got there (friday, 3-4pm). got the wagyu steak frites and egg rolls. both were delicious!

A new gem in Anaheim! Chipotle-styled ordering so whether it's your 10th or 1st time here, ordering is made simple! All the ingredients are made fresh daily and their sauces are all made in house! So many different combinations you can make. Restaurant is very clean and modern. My wife loved the pink touches everywhere . We will definitely be coming back! -Kevin & Joanne

Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The interior of the restaurant itself is very industrial and it's a super cute date spot. Parking is paid tho (as with most places in LA). We had a reservation on a Friday at 6:30 and were seated immediately. Our servers were super attentive and kind and our food came out relatively quickly as well. As for the food tho... it was a bit of a let down for us. Bing with cultured butter and honey - 4/5 If you come here, the one thing I do recommend is the Bing. The bread comes out warm and is super soft and fluffy in the inside, while having a crisp outside. I liked the touch of black pepper with the butter and honey, but it was a bit too much honey for my liking. Besides the bread itself, the dip wasn't anything special but dill delicious nonetheless. Bing with smoked fish and crème fraiche - 4/5 I think this is my favorite thing that we ordered. The smoked salmon paired well with the creaminess and slight tang of the crème fraiche, and I also loved the touch of dill. Nothing outstanding again, but the cold dip provided a nice temperature contrast w the warm bread. Mushroom crispy rice - 4/5 Loved the variety of mushrooms on the crispy rice. It had a nice umami flavor that paired well with the rice that had a nice crisp texture. It was a bit on the heavy side tho -- I wish it had a touch of lemon zest or something acidic to brighten up the dish. Bossam - 2.5/5 This was unfortunately the biggest let down of our meal. Priced at $135 I would have expected more, but it just tasted like a typical bbq pork shoulder. It was super heavy and greasy and even with the sides of lettuce, kimchi, pickled onions, and ssamjang, the fat still left a slightly unpleasant mouthfeel. The meat itself was very tender tho which I can appreciate. Also, I'm surprised this dish is called bossam, as it is not the traditional boiled pork belly. It didn't even have any sort of asian flavor besides the sides. When I read reviews online, this was by far the most hyped up dish, but we did not love it. All in all, I'm glad I tried the restaurant once but I would not personally come back. The ambiance is super nice, yet the food was unfortunately a let down.

The fish sauce was a little spicy for me but it added just the right amount of kick. The chicken pad thai was okay. Don't go to a Vietnamese restaurant and order Thai food. The chicken was tender but the pad Thai did not have the right flavor to it. They also sell boba drinks here. There is something here for everyone, and they OPEN UNTIL 1AM most days for your late night cravings! There is plenty of seating inside, but the parking can be a bit of an issue if it's busy. The only thing lacking when I came was the service. We had to wait about 15 minutes to order and had to wave a waiter down to get service (and they weren't even busy on a weekday past lunch time) as he didn't see us when we tried to get his attention earlier. We also had to request water when our food came out. If it weren't for the food, I would not come back here. Please train your staff to be more attentive. Yelp Review #54- 2026
