Great fast casual Vietnamese restaurant in Orange. If you don't want to trek out to Westminster/garden grove, Saiga is a solid option. They have a bunch of classics on their menu including pho, vermicelli bowls, bahn mi, garlic noodles and rice dishes. I ended up getting the vermicelli bowl with the crispy pork belly ($1 extra) as well as the grilled pork bahn mi. The vermicelli bowl was so good and refreshing with the slippery rice noodles and fresh vegetables. I also loved that it came with an egg roll. The egg roll was perfectly crispy and had a good filling ratio. I'm glad the cashier convinced me to get the crispy pork belly. I typically don't like pork belly because it's too fatty but this one was perfect with the crunchy skin and juicy tender meat. The nuoc cham fish sauce balanced out the whole dish too. I had the blended coconut Thai tea smoothie to go with my vermicelli bowl and it was delicious - creamy, nutty, sweet and a good amount of Thai tea flavor. The coconut paired so nicely with the Thai tea! I saved my bahn mi and paradise swirl (blended coconut strawberry and pineapple smoothie) for later and it was still good even hours later. There was plenty of parking in the plaza on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant has a decent amount of seating inside. The workers were nice and professional. It was the perfect quick meal that I was looking for.

This was our first stop on our recent Orange County trip. The eatery is modern and casual. We ordered two bowls- a vermicelli and a rice bowl. For the vermicelli, we opted for chicken, which came with an eggroll! The rice bowl came with grilled pork and a yummy green aioli sauce. They also have banh mi, pho, garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice, lemonade, and desserts! Both bowls were very flavorful and delicious! We also got a lychee green tea and a lemon guava green tea. Both drinks were refreshing! Service was friendly and quick! Can't wait to try more items on our next foodie trip!

A great fast-casual Vietnamese spot in Orange! So many options to choose from on the menu, ranging from banh mi to pho to garlic noodles! There is something for everyone! The staff were so friendly, and ordering was quick and easy. I tried the barbecue chicken banh mi, grilled pork vermicelli noodles, and the pork belly garlic noodles, and they were all a hit! The barbecue chicken banh mi was great, with the fluffy yet crunchy bread and juicy chicken, with the fresh and pickled veggies within. Such a large portion too, I saved the other half for later! The grilled pork vermicelli noodle was a nice palette cleanser, cool and refreshing noodles and fresh veggies, topped with fried shallots and amazing smelling grilled pork. Love the addition of the eggroll as well for a crispy texture change! The garlic noodles were definitely my favorite, with a hit-you-in-the-face garlicky punch. I loved the springy, bouncy noodle texture along with the fatty pork belly. Washed everything down with a lychee lemonade, which was not too sweet and refreshing for the carb-heavy meal. I can't wait to come back to try their other menu items, including the kimchi fried rice and pho! They're still having their promotion now, but 1 entree and get a drink 50% off! Lasting until this weekend! And then I believe they're bringing back a Happy Hour menu afterwards, which I'm excited for... Eat good, eat fast!

I really like the variety on their menu and it's an easy go to spot, especially for takeout. My go to is the grilled pork vermicelli, especially with the fish sauce which is super flavorful and the crispy egg roll. We also ordered the BBQ chicken rice bowl and it was a solid choice. I paired my meal with the lychee green tea and it was really refreshing, and the service was great as well with everyone being very kind. Definitely a spot I'd keep in rotation.

For drinks, we got the strawberry lemonade, which was sweet and mildly tart, and the lychee green tea, with a sweet flavor and a green tea aftertaste. Highly recommend both! Tried the eggrolls; first off they were pretty big. The outside was flaky and not at all greasy. The filling was hot and flavorful. Got the pork belly bahn mi. Good flavor, tastes smoked with flavors of cinnamon and star anise. However, didn't have a lot of meat in it. Had about 4 slices per half. The pork belly was nice and crispy. Tried the grilled pork bahn mi. Was expecting a BBQ pork flavor but this was different and good! Smoky and juicy. Felt like this sandwich had a little bit more pork in it. You order at the kiosk and they bring your food out! Easy and great service!

Overall we really enjoyed the food and ambiance here. Everything was brought out to us (we dined in). The lychee lemonade was sweet, tart and strong on the lychee (I love that). The Thai tea was decent, not strong on the tea flavor but still good. I added an egg to my shaken beef and it was cooked perfectly, nice and runny. The beef was tender and the side salad + pickled onions added to the dish was a nice refreshing touch. The star dish was the crispy pork belly! The pork belly is perfectly crispy while also being flavorful. The flavor came through in every single bite! The staff was very nice, they have an Easter "iSPY" hunt happening and if you find everything on the list you'll get a sweet treat. Really nice touch to get customers & kiddos to engage and look around.

Delicious Vietnamese food in OC. From vermicelli, rice to salad bowls and PHO and Bánh Mi, this spot has a little bit of anything for everyone! Their Pho is solid and also tastes just as great to go! Love that they don't use the plastic to go packaging! Rich broth with generous portions of meat. Their bánh mì is a large portion and my go to is their roasted pork belly! Cannot to wrong with whatever protein you crave. Their vermicelli bowls feel light and fresh to satisfy your Vietnamese food cravings! We went for pork belly and the grilled pork. Also their Vietnamese coffee game is STRONG just how I like it Go check them out!

Reservation: Not needed - fast casual Parking: Super easy parking in lot right outside Vibes: Very bright and welcoming atmosphere with greenery and free wifi Service: friendly and efficient Grilled Pork Banh Mi: my personal highlight - perfectly toasted bread and the grilled pork was so flavorful Garlic noodles with BBQ chicken: chicken skin had really nice color on them and noodles had the right amount of garlic Brisket Pho: great amount of noodles and brisket with the classic basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños provided and hoisin and sriracha packets to taste Everything together was under $40 - a convenient, quick meal for good value!

I was pretty bummed that the Boba place was shut down initially, not knowing what new spot would replace it. But like a Phoenix reborn from the ashes of a past life, Saiga Vietnamese Eatery was created. The store itself leans small-medium size, but it was empty when we came in so there was no issue finding a seat. Ordering was easy and we got our food within 10 minutes. I ordered the Chicken Vermicelli bowl and I feel like I hit an equally healthy and delicious find. The sauce was just the right amount of tangy and the sides were proportioned just right. It looks like they use Rotisserie chicken as the protein. I would order that bowl again and again. Though I am tempted to also go for their garlic noodles. Coming back again for sure.

I've been to their Irvine location and was hoping that this restaurant would be as consistent as Irvine and it delivered! Husband and I ate the banh mi sandwich with grilled pork, vermicelli with barbecue chicken and garlicky noodles with crispy pork belly. Don't tell anyone, but we actually like the banh mi sandwich more here than at Lee's Sandwiches! And the crispy pork belly with the garlicky noodles put it over the top - I never had crispy pork belly before. Every bite was so good, definitely coming back! The restaurant is casual and family-friendly and the server is cheerful. :)

Came here recently and was really impressed. We tried the pho, pork belly banh mi, egg rolls, and drinks -- honestly no misses. The ingredients tasted fresh, portions were solid, and the flavors were on point. The pork belly banh mi was probably my favorite. It's a great place for a casual lunch or dinner when you want something comforting but not too heavy. Bonus that they also sell items in stores! Would definitely return.

The server had only been working at Saiga for 3 days but she was doing an amazing job; she acknowledged us pretty quickly when we arrived, was doing some food prep activities as well, delivered the food, and was bussing and cleaning tables immediately. Truly superb work ethic and customer service. The vermicelli with pork belly and egg roll was our favorite of the 3 dishes we tried. The pho was classic and tasted nice and light. Unfortunately the kimchi fried rice fell flat in terms of tangy fermented kimchi flavor although the chicken was decent.

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery absolutely nails it with their pork belly bánh mì--it's hands down the best I've ever had, and I've tried a lot. The pork belly is perfectly cooked, crispy and flavorful without being overwhelming, and the balance with the bread, sauce and pickled veggies is just spot on. Service is always fast and quiet in the store, maybe I've always caught them at a slower time. I do enjoy the calmness compare to other Vietnamese places (ambiance) I'll admit, I've stuck to this one item because I'm usually hesitant to order noodles at places like this, but honestly, this sandwich alone keeps me coming back. Even if you made the drive out to Garden Grove or went to a more traditional Vietnamese spot, you'd be hard-pressed to find a bánh mì quite like this one. It really stands out.

The finger foods was Asian‑inspired, with flavors like black sesame, curry, and other creative twists that made each bite feel unique. Every piece was thoughtfully made, rich, and decadent without feeling repetitive, and the presentation was beautiful across the board. It definitely felt like a more elevated, modern take on afternoon tea. The tea itself, however, fell a bit short for me. I ordered a non‑caffeinated chrysanthemum tea, which unfortunately didn't have much depth or flavor. My friend's Darjeeling was better, but still not as rich or complex as I've had elsewhere. Given how strong the Asian inspiration is in the food, it would've been nice to see more thoughtful decaf tea options in that same direction, like decaf sencha, barley tea, or kuromamecha, to better match the concept. Price: The afternoon tea service is prix fixe at around $45 per person, which includes a curated set of savory bites, desserts, and a pot of tea. For the quality and creativity of the food, the price feels pretty reasonable compared to other OC tea services, though the tea itself didn't quite meet the same level as the food. Ambiance: The space is bright, warm, and inviting, with a nice amount of natural sunlight coming in that makes it feel cozy rather than stuffy. There are subtle Asian design elements woven into the décor, giving it a modern, slightly upscale feel without being overly formal. It's a great spot to catch up with friends and linger over tea. Service: Service was good, friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Even during a busy service, staff remained kind and approachable, which added to the overall relaxed vibe. Parking: Parking can take a bit of effort. Since it's located on a busy street in Orange, you may need to circle around the roundabout or park a little farther away and walk over. Not impossible, but definitely something to plan for, especially on weekends.

We visited on Father's Day around 12:20 PM. Since part of our group was still a few minutes away, we waited outside rather than going in because we assumed the entire party needed to be present before being seated. While we were waiting, a large group of around 20 people arrived and sat in the outdoor patio area, which was completely fine and didn't seem to affect the indoor seating. Once the rest of our party was close, I went inside to check in with the host. At the same time, another group of about 10 people entered and seated themselves. Seeing this, I assumed seating was being handled informally and found an empty table for my family. The host immediately told me we could not sit there and asked us to get up because the tables were being held for future reservations or call-in parties. Meanwhile, other groups appeared to be seating themselves without being stopped. In that moment, it honestly felt like our party was the easiest one to turn away. I was then told we wouldn't be able to eat and that the wait would be over an hour. I asked if there was some type of waitlist or system being used, and was told there wasn't. What bothered me most wasn't the wait itself. It was Father's Day, and I completely understand that restaurants get unexpectedly busy. What was frustrating was the lack of communication. Even if the host had a plan for how she wanted to handle the sudden rush of people, I wish that had been communicated. A simple explanation and a little empathy would have gone a long way. Something as simple as, "I'm so sorry, we just had a huge wave of guests come in and unfortunately we're at capacity right now," would have helped us understand what was happening. Instead, it felt like we were simply being told no without any real explanation or options. We've always enjoyed coming here, and that's why this experience stood out. Great food is what brings people in the first time, but great customer service is often what keeps them coming back. I wanted to share this feedback because I genuinely think clearer communication during busy periods would create a much better experience for guests. We'll still be back because we've had many positive experiences here before. I just hope this feedback can be taken as an opportunity for improvement.
