On my way up to LAX from Irvine on a brisk Sunday afternoon in September 2026, I stopped off here for a late lunch here at THH sandwiches. It was a small but formidable restaurant with mostly standing room only. There was a few tables and chairs, but we decided to take it on the road and I could have it on the flight home. I ended up getting fed snacks and drinks on the flight home and ate two sandwiched purchased from THH. A pork one and a veggie sandwich, which was a popular and a delicious one. I also purchased spring rolls, which passed successfully thru TSA with the sauce. Ended up eating that the next day at work, which ended up being pretty tasty anyway. The experience at THH Sandwiches spent waiting in line and for our order took about 20 minutes in total. The prices were honestly not that bad since it was popular and we could custom order if you wanted to, but they would charge for it. The service here was good and friendly while offering a wholesome variety of sandwiches and various options for anyone and everyone who wishes to eat here. THH Vietnamese restaurant itself was definitely worth the time and effort to come here, or so I've been told. It's semi healthy and you'd get a good value for your meals. I know I did and it worked out just fine and dandy. The restaurant itself is clean and fresh. While you may or may not get a table, consider coming early enough to secure one before the lunch rush comes through. You'll be glad you did, for real. The overall experience here at THH Sandwiches in Tustin, California was quite nice, when you want the quick service but the quality of their food. My family and I arrived around 3pm and it was still standing room only. I gazed at the menu board for a good 5 minutes before ordering it. We were given a number and waited for our food to be made. After 10-15 minutes, we received it and were on our way. They also served drinks too, but I just wanted food before we were off to LAX. For the most part though, it was a nice restaurant that I was suggested that we came here. My guess is that my family loves coming here when they are in Tustin. I've come here numerous times over the years and have always gotten banh mi sandwiches. I think they're just ok here, but I tried the pandan cake (banh bo) and steamed flour sheets (banh cuon) for the first time and they were both excellent. We ordered the grilled pork banh mi, which had a good taste overall. I just wish the pork was marinated a little more because it did lack some flavor. The bread was delicious, it had a nice crispiness but was still soft when you bit into it. We also got the grilled pork vermicelli salad with egg rolls. The egg rolls were really good and crispy, especially with the fish sauce. I'm not a big mint person, but I actually felt like it made the salad really refreshing. The pork was again lacking a little flavor, so I wish it had been marinated a little more. I'll give them the credit for the generous size, but it was honestly upsetting to see that it was stuffed with nothing but veggies. The Shredded Chicken had absolutely zero flavor. The Grilled Pork was dry, skimpy, and lacked any char that would make it memorable. If you are in the Tustin area, do yourself the favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to Garden Grove. I think I would have rated this place higher if it wasn't over hyped for me. The banh mi I thought was just OK. Banh Mi Che Cali's are are just as good and much cheaper. I wish I could give a separate rating just for the banh cuon. Cause that was delicious and exceeded expectations. Fish sauce was made really well. They mostly make food to go but there are tables and chairs so you can eat at the restaurant. I usually will order their spring rolls, Vietnamese iced coffee (delicious and strong!) and grass jelly basil seed drink. I have also ordered their sandwiches either with meatball or shredded chicken (the girls like), Viet udon noodles, fish porridge, bun thang, or bun rieu. The flavor is mediocre, sometimes bland compared to the restaurants in the Westminster/Bolsa area. But if you're in the Tustin area, it's pretty convenient. read more

I ordered a spam and egg Bahn mi sandwich and chicken curry with rice. The sandwich was ready in less than 5 minutes so I nibbled on that while waiting for the chicken curry. The sandwich is packed with jalapenos, cilantro, and sliced cucumbers amongst other ingredients which gives it a good amount of flavors. The chicken curry had a good flavor with coconut milk mixed in but the texture of it was thin and liquidy compared to a typical curry. It had big chunks of carrots, potatoes and chicken though that was very tender and well cooked. On my second visit I had ordered online but the online menu only had sandwiches, featured sides and drinks. I got the spam and egg Bahn mi again and a trio combo pack spring roll. I meant to order egg rolls but it wasn't on the online menu. I'm glad I ordered online because when I went to pick it up, it was very busy and there was a long line of people waiting for their food. I was waiting where it said pickup and was trying to get the attention of someone but the staff just reads numbers and never looked up. I then went in the line to order the food and was able to pick up my online order. The sandwich was as good as I first got it. But I think Pickle Bahn Mi had better baguette, it tasted more buttery to me. The 3 pack spring roll I got had pork sausage, summer and shrimp and pork. The summer one looked like it had egg in it. My favourite out of the three is the shrimp and pork. The peanut sauce was also surprisingly good, not ascetic or vinegary like some sauces. It shares the same space as the Kolachi Factory and Chocolate Bash, so it can get pretty packed during peak lunch hour. I recommend this place for anyone who loves a good Bahn Mi under $8. This place deserves to be five stars in so many ways if it were not for a few minor items. The place could use a thorough cleaning, especially the bathrooms. The staff is unwilling to change or alter an order. I asked for extra lettuce and veggies to go with my egg rolls? I also asked for fish sauce. They said no to any changes. Ugh.
