Been here a few times since my last review. My gma loves this place so when I visit she always wants to eat here :) Food was delicious of course! Recently tried the tofu fried rice and LOVED it. The only thing I wish is that everyone's food would come out at the same time. I was sitting there for awhile with my food because I didn't want to eat until my grandma got hers. I ordered everything at once too. But still- love this spot.

EverSpring delivers a fresh, modern take on Chinese classics that strikes a nice balance between traditional flavor and quick-casual appeal. Signature dishes like the crispy beef are consistently highlighted as a must-try, offering bold flavors and satisfying textures. Other popular choices include orange chicken, potstickers, handmade soup dumplings, and a range of bento box options -- each showcasing fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Diners note the food is flavorful and well executed, though portions can feel moderate compared with some fast-casual spots. Highlights: Crispy beef with a rich, savory profile Fresh, hand-crafted dumplings and sesame balls Balanced classics like egg fried rice and stir-fried veggies Overall, the food earns strong praise for taste and quality -- especially for a quick-service concept. Ambiance The vibe here is modern, clean, and casual, well suited for laid-back meals with friends, family, or solo dining. The interior has bright, contemporary design cues and an open floor plan that feels relaxed rather than formal. Ordering is done via self-service kiosks at the counter, which helps keep the feel streamlined and efficient. One of the standout features of the space is the robot that delivers food to your table -- a fun, tech-forward twist that many guests enjoy, especially families with kids. The atmosphere is friendly and approachable, making it ideal for quick lunch or dinner outings without fuss. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating options make coming and going easy, adding to the overall comfort of the setting. ‍ Service Service at EverSpring is consistently described as amazing and kind. Staff go out of their way to explain the ordering process, assist with menu questions, and ensure guests understand how the system works -- especially helpful if it's your first visit. Even with the quick-service model, the team maintains a personal touch: friendly interactions, clear communication, and prompt attention to any issues. Coupled with the novelty of robotic delivery, the blend of technology and warm hospitality makes the service feel both efficient and welcoming.

Review 19/365 Review Challenge This is like a fast food style Modern Chinese Food. Simple wall decor. Open floor plan with indoor seatings along they have patio tables are chairs outdoor available. You order at the Kiosk or at the register. Associate can assist help take your order. Servers and sometimes a robotic machine will bring the items to you at your table. What we ordered ~ Cucumber Salad is a great complimented to our entrees. Refreshing and crunchy goodness. ~ Chili Pork Wonton is good. Not spicy at all. ~ Orange Chicken is good flavoring. Battered perfectly & fried. ~ Mongolian Beef is highly recommended. Tender and great size with lots of sliced up onions and green onions. ~ Chicken Fried Rice is good w carrots & peas, like traditional fried rice. ~ Salt & Pepper Pork Chops had a really awkward floral taste to it. We had 2 orders that came out separate of time and they both had an odd taste to it. ~ Egg Custard Sesame Balls 流沙麻团 for dessert. Custard is really eggy but good and the sesame ball is fried to perfection. Server was nice and we got our items in a timely manner. There are plates, utensils, to go box at the counter near the fountain drink station. Bottled drinks like sweet tea & coconut water available. Located in the Tustin Marketplace, a few doors down from Dairy Queen. Lots of parking available.

Overall food hit the spot for my cravings but did not wow me in flavor. Crispy beef: as the name suggests, the beef definitely is crispy. It did not have much flavor itself tho. Like I was eating more driven by its appearance and texture than actual taste and I wished it was a bit more meaty to pair with the crispiness. I'm intrigued to try it again tho to see if I like it enough to continue getting or not. Orange chicken: I saw multiple reviews not loving the chicken because it was tough but most of my pieces were normal with a few tough pieces. Overall enjoyable but I'd prefer panda express's over this.

EverSpring Modern Chinese in Tustin just became our new go-to for Chinese food! Came here for a late lunch and left completely stuffed and happy. The menu has all the classics done really well with fresh ingredients and spot-on flavors. Standouts from our massive order: - Crispy Beef - perfectly tender inside, super crunchy outside, not too spicy - Orange Chicken - juicy pieces with that tangy sauce and regular spice kick - Crispy Duck - beautifully golden and rich - Black Bean Fish Fillet - tender fish in a savory sauce - Stir-Fried String Beans - garlicky and just the right regular spice - Pork Soup Dumplings - juicy and comforting - Both Hot & Sour and Creamy Corn Egg Drop Soups were excellent - Finished with the Egg Custard Sesame Balls - warm, crispy, gooey perfection The restaurant itself is spotless and modern, with a cool high-tech twist: robots bring your food to the table! It's such a fun touch and makes the whole experience feel convenient and seamless. Ordering is easy at the kiosks, food came out fast, and portions are huge. Staff were friendly and great with recommendations too. Bonus: they do catering! If you're in Tustin, Irvine or nearby, definitely check this place out--you won't be disappointed. Already planning our next visit!

The best Chinese restaurant in Tustin by far! The prices are very fair and the food is very good! We have ordered a lot from the menu over the past visits and have been happy with all the dishes. We usually order the signature crispy beef dish, chicken chow mein, honey walnut shrimp, and we go back and fourthe between the sweet n sour chicken and the orange chicken. We usually call our order ahead of time and it is always ready in the time that they quote us. The food is so freshly made it still tastes very fresh even when we take it to go and eat it at home. There are daily specials you can order before 5 pm so be on the lookout for that! It has saved us a good amount of money. We will be back again very soon!

I've been curious about this place for a while since the pictures and reviews seemed good but was apprehensive about the prices for the quantity and quality of food. I finally tried it because I had a coupon for a free veggie spring roll appetizer with a purchase of $20 or more. The fast casual ambiance was very contemporary, and you can tell they lean into this with their self order kiosks and robot delivery. But to use the coupon, I ended up ordering with the cashier, which was nice to ask questions about the portion size. The rest of the experience was unfortunately downhill. They forgot to give us a number, so the robot delivered our free spring rolls to the wrong table, which the other customers did not report. It took a while for the workers to notice and eventually send a new order our way. Having the time to observe this for a while, it generally seemed like the robot has more of a gimmick than a tool to increase their efficiency. Food-wise, we were also not impressed. While the flavor was acceptable, the texture of the orange chicken was pretty abysmal. A large proportion of the dish was just the batter, so despite the outer appearance, the slim niblets of dry chicken breast were overpowered by the stale and extremely tough exterior. Moreover, the portion size was not as large as we were led to believe, especially given the price. The steamed white rice that it came with was also extremely dry and looked like it might have been old. (0/5) The veggie spring rolls were underwhelming and rather starchy, especially because the filling was on the sparse side. This was a let down because the photos of the shrimp egg roll looked much more promising, but maybe I ordered wrong. (2/5) But! The pork soup dumplings saved the meal. Came out fresh enough to burn our mouths, with a welcoming curl of steam when you open the basket. Surprisingly, they were not in individual tins and actually looked plump and supple, with a delicate wrap that held its own and wasn't sweet (a personal preference over more fragrant dough). Filling flavor is nothing to write home about, your standard morsel of slightly tough salty pork, but the quality of this XLB was leagues above the rest of the meal. Sort of on the pricey side, but worth a try if you're here already. (4/5) Overall, it was a rocky experience, and maybe the highs and lows eclipsed each other. As it stands, I don't think I would come back, but at least it's crossed off my list

I was craving Chinese food today and missing my good old days living in Alhambra,CA. I now live in Irvine tried a nearby spot, Everspring Modern Chinese, through DoorDash. DoorDash was great delivering in a timely manner. The entree flavors were good overall, the orange spicy chicken had a nice citrus kick, and the mixed vegetables with tofu were really tasty. The noodles had a variety of shrimp, chicken and beef great flavor too. The beef and broccoli was good but the beef was a little tough, and the wor wonton soup was decent but I would have loved more vegetables and shrimp. It was good food but it still didn't hit like that LA County Chinese takeout I grew up with. If anyone has a favorite Chinese takeout spot, don't gatekeep please share!

The food that arrived was inedible. The chicken was rock hard and was either reused from many hours ago or had just been overcooked way beyond what it should have. I had never received Chinese food bad to this level. Unfortunately, had to throw it all away. I'm sure whoever was working the kitchen was aware of this problem and just decided to make our food with the worst chicken sitting four hours towards the end of their shift and not make new chicken for our order. I say this because there was only a few minutes left to order from the store and I am sure that whatever was left in the store that was going to be thrown away the got sent to us instead. Unacceptable and very disappointing.

Food was tasty/ok. Hot & sour soup was great! I got spring roll. It was ok. I got the tofu mapo regular spicy. It was good. Good chunks of tofu, few black beans. Generous size portions. Each entree comes with a small side of rice. One entree itself can feed 2-3 people. Service was great. They proactively ask if it's your first time and if you have questions. They have self order kiosks in addition to taking the order at the counter. It's fast Chinese food made to order. There wasn't really music playing today, you could just hear the stove fan every time it turned on. There seating inside and outside food court seating. They had a little bit of lunar new year decor and

More "authentic" than a Panda Express but not close to the many Irvine Chinese spots. Ordering was easy on the touch screens when you enter. Robots deliver to your table which was a fun touch, but the folks who work there do check in on you. The egg drop soup, cucumbers and sesame chicken were what you'd expect. The spring rolls were crispy. Most of the soup dumplings broke while still in the steamer. The meat inside had decent flavor but was a little rubbery. One item we forgot to get a photo of was the popcorn chicken. That was the best item, with some spices dusted over the crunchy pieces.

This restaurant gives elevated American Chinese food in the best way. They have the classics like kung pao chicken, orange chicken, and broccoli beef but throw in traditional items like crispy beef and mapo tofu. We ordered a huge spread and they were all very good except the chili pork wontons which didn't seem like they were fully cooked. But everything else was so good that I couldn't stop eating it. My favorites were the kung pao chicken, black bean fish filet, mapo tofu and crispy beef. Everything was packed with flavor and served piping hot by both the waitress and the robot, who was adorable. You can't leave here with ordering the egg custard sesame balls, something I've never heard of before but should be a staple everywhere. It was the perfect combination of crispy and chewy from the sesame balls and gooey and sweet from the custard. You can choose to dine-in or take it to go and they have different discounts every weekday for certain entrees. It was pretty empty on a weekday for dining in since I think most people take it to go.

Hi, do you no longer make the dry chili chicken entree?

What vegetables are in vegetable chow mein. I like what ingredients I can see on menu but it doesn't give full list. Like also celery, and onions? And can I have chicken or shrimp instead of tofu?

Hi, the veggie chow mein comes with bok choy and broccoli.

    Yes we are! :)

Are there any dishes I can order to be prepared without soy sauce?

Yes, we can make some of the options without soy sauce or gluten free soy sauce. Please feel free to call us to place an order and our associates can help you navigate the options :)

Do you have gluten free options?

We can do our best to accommodate this for some of our dishes. Please call us to request this option when you order. Thank you!

Is anything vegan on the menu or only vegetarian?

Hi! Yes we do have several dishes that are very vegan friendly: mapo tofu, stir fry mixed veggies, stir fry string beans, veggie potstickers, veggie spring rolls, and veggie chow mein are all very tasty treats. If you want to try our veggie fried… Read more

What kind of cooking oil do you use?

    Hi, we use Soybean Oil.

Like Gene, the serrano ahi poke bowl with wontons was the "go to" for every visit. Another fan favorite was the guac-poke with wontons. Well, wontons were removed from the menu altogether, and the serving size of the ahi is half of what it used to be. Not sure if this was a local decision or corporate decision, but it was a bad one! Second faux pas on the new menu is the removal of black beans with the taco plate. Now your options are fries or a salad. Who orders fries or salad with tacos? Black beans are so cheap. Even if you charge $1 for them, you're making money. Doesn't make sense to remove them. Oh, and the 3 taco plate is no longer an option. You can only get 2 tacos now. Third questionable decision ... eliminating the miso salad. The bartender told me that the house salad on the menu is the same as the miso salad. They mean the same thing. When the runner delivered what I thought was the miso salad, it looked different. So I asked her if this was the miso salad. She said no, that is no longer on the menu. So .... ya. Another big change for me was the removal of my favorite wine, the chenin blanc. The other whites are subpar IMO and not worth the drive over there ... especially with all these really poor menu changes. So now you know why I'm looking for a new happy place. If you know of any open air, fresh fish places, please DM me. Thanks! P.S. I went back and forth between giving 2 stars and 3 stars. The employees here are really exceptional. And I didn't think it was fair to give the whole restaurant 2 stars because their culinary executive is absolutely clueless.

First the Cheese Chicken Roll was surprisingly good. Imagine the Beef Roll and swap things around to get something off of a fancy KFC menu. It features a crispy flaky tortilla outside, wrapped around copious chicken (katsu texture), some lettuce for a crunch, some melted cheese, and then a spicy Thousand-Island type dressing. It all pairs well, has a good chicken portion, and texture variation too. My only desire would be for slightly more lettuce and slightly less cheese, otherwise perfect. Crispy Lotus Root Fries are solid, but not a replacement for typical potato fries. The lotus version was not as crispy or crunchy, but would be an Asian version. It comes with ketchup and the same spicy thousand island dressing as the chicken roll. Lastly we were let down by the Pan Fried Shrimp&Chicken Dumplings (Whole Wheat). The whole wheat wrapping had a very slight texture difference, not as chewy as the typical dumpling wrapping. But the inside was the main focus. It seemed like it was a fishball inside, a homogenous color and texture and more reminiscent of fish than of shrimp. It's possible we got the wrong dumpling. Based on this experience we would not order it again. Wheat wrapping would be fine, but the shrimp/chicken filling would be a no.

I really wish they would bring it back because it was one of the restaurant's signature dishes and a favorite among many customers. During this visit, I ordered the sliced pork and the jelly noodles. The sliced pork was incredibly tender, with a clean, fresh flavor that let the ingredients' quality shine. The jelly noodles were refreshing, spicy, and full of bold Sichuan flavors. The combination of heat, seasoning, and texture was simply delicious. The dessert was also surprisingly good. It reminded me of mochi, topped with puffed rice that added a pleasant crunch and contrast to the soft, chewy texture. If you're looking for authentic Sichuan food in Los Angeles, I highly recommend Sichuan Impression. The flavors are genuine, the dishes are consistently well prepared, and it's a place you really can't go wrong with.

This place has great deals and happens to be next to one of my fav Japanese restaurants too! We started with egg drop soup and it was thick and hearty, added a little soy and spice to it and it was great, the schezwan wontons were amazing as well and had an interesting spice chili sauce to them which was great (I used the leftover chili sauce to add to my other food as well). The beef and broccoli had a lot of flavor but was my least fav of everything we ordered. Not bad but typical dish. The fried rice was cooked fine and I liked the veggies they included, it had nice taste and complimented the food as well. The chow mein was delicious and had great flavor and fresh ingredients too. Service was quick and excellent. The restaurant is pretty small so any party over 4 will need to combine tables which is what we did but it worked out. This may just have became one of my new fave Chinese places!

Luckily our friend had put our name down quickly and we were seated upon the rest of our party's arrival within 15 ish minutes. Now that I've tried the food, felt the service, and enjoyed our meal, I can see why it has a line and a high star rating! The service: super friends and accommodating! The place itself is a small/medium size with lots of tables for seating multiple small/medium sizes of parties. We were a party of 5 (4 adults, one baby/toddler with a high chair). I loved how they accommodated my child with their children's menu in addition to providing us with scissors to cut up noodles. Upon stating our allergies, they helped us with food suggestions and limitations. It's honestly the little things that go above and beyond, as well as their friendly service. They weren't overtly checking up on us, and had just the right amount of interaction and help. Food: 3 of us got the beef belly pho and one got the beef rib, my son got a kids mean. Upon receiving our bowls you'd think by looking at the clarity of the broth that it wouldn't be super flavorful, but it absolutely was. It's not overpowering, but the right amount of savory with a hint of sweetness from the added o green onions. Each pho came with the garnishes of basil, lime, and bean sprouts as normal. We did have to ask for small side plates For those who wanted hoisin and sriracha on the side, but not a big deal and quick to get. I'm also a huge fan of the lychee lemonade at vox, which they had here. Not refillable, but still loved it! My son got their chicken nuggets with fries since the pho broth had some sesame oil which he's allergic to, but he loved it. It came in the cutest kid "happy meal" type of box and we used the scissors given to cut the nuggets and a few "washed" noodles. Overall, would love to come again for a great bowl of pho if the wait isn't too long!

Service was attentive throughout the meal, with the staff checking in regularly without being intrusive. There was no lunch rush when we went, making for a nice, calm brunch atmosphere. The lychee lemonade came with unlimited refills, which was a nice bonus. It tasted how you'd expect from a classic lemonade with a noticeable lychee flavor, and had lychee pulp throughout. We ordered several dishes to share. The Calamari was a good appetizer. It had a light, crispy coating with good seasoning, and the dipping sauce paired nicely with it. We also tried the Carne Asada Fries, which were loaded with flavor. The meat was well-seasoned, and the sauces tied everything together without overwhelming the fries. The Garlic Noodles with filet were a solid choice. The noodles were flavorful, and the filet was cooked well, tender and juicy. The Fried Rice with Pork Jowl was probably my favorite dish. The pork jowl was rich, tender, and packed with flavor, and the fried rice complemented it really well, offsetting the fattiness. For being at South Coast Plaza, I thought the prices were fairly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It's not somewhere I can afford every week, but it's a great option when you're looking for a nicer lunch while shopping. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
