Ridiculous experience not consistent with this Taco Bell normally: I'm not changing my four star rating because I have had generally good experience with this Taco Bell but tonight just made me crazy. I was in the drive-through line and for whatever reason dude was taking forever. I don't know if it was him or the staff, but I'm gonna guess it was him and so finally I just ended up backing out of the drive-through. Made sure he knew that I was backing out I parked and went inside, and then I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time ordering on the stupid mobile screen. Had a horrible experience at this drive-thru tonight. First the drive-thru AI kept interrupting me when I was asking for time to select what I was going to order until I asked for a live person. Once the live person came on again they asked me what I wanted to order and again I asked for time because I still hadn't even decided what I was going to order from their new menu. The live person said no worries and to let them know when I was ready. I was ready shortly after that and when I was saying hello and excuse me to get my order taken I was ignored for an extended period of time for an average wait time at a drive-thru. I felt it was rude and when I drove up to the window to address the situation, I was greeted rudely by who turned out to be the manager of the restaurant. She yelled at me saying that I'm supposed to order at the drive-thru as if that wasn't exactly what I had been trying to do for the last 2 minutes or so. When trying to explain to the "manager" that we were very upset and felt disrespected by being blatantly ignored she closed the window on us and walked away. We called the restaurant shortly after pulling away and the person who answer also claimed to be the manager but claimed to not know anything that I was saying. I've been to a lot of taco bells in my life and had my fair share of crunchwraps. This tacobell is by far the best I have ever had. The crunchwrap was actually crunchy, warm, and evenly layered with all of the goods. The nacho fries were thick and crunchy and the cheese was ready and hot. The people were also super nice and efficient with our order. If possible I will come back to this location every time if I can! I drove out specifically to this Taco Bell as it is the chosen one to offer the limited time Strawberry Milk Truffles. I love when Taco Bell does collabs with other amazing companies, this time being the infamous dessert spot: Milk Bar. The truffles aren't on the menu, but luckily they did offer them for two pieces at $2.99. The truffles are good. I'm not a big fan of desserts, so it was a bit too sweet for me like most Milk desserts. If you let the balls sit out for a bit, the fudgey corn filling gets more soft, which I enjoyed more. This review is for the new Taco Bell x Milk Bar Strawberry Bell Truffles which are available at this location only for a limited time until August 16th. I'm a pretty big fan of Milk Bar and Taco Bell is definitely one of my fave fast food joints, so I knew I had to make the trek out to try these before they're gone. As of this review they are on the menu so you can order through drive thru or if you're using the app or touch screens inside, look under New Items. The truffles are presented in a white box in gold foil cups. Like other Milk Bar truffles, these are definitely on the sweeter side, but have a nice balance from the corn fudge and light saltiness of the crunchy taco shell. The corn really compliments the strawberry flavor. The strawberry flavor is like a strawberry milk flavor. These are almost reminiscent of the flavor of a strawberry shortcake bar with the added umami of corn which may be strange to some, but it works especially if you're in the know with southeast Asian desserts that use corn. I liked these so much I went back for another set and bought more to bring to a friend. However, for a corporate review the automated service that takes your order I have previously went to this specific location and asked for a combo number and as I'm trying to explain to the automated voice that I would like to substitute an item on my combo, which would be substituting pair of hard tacos for soft tacos it was not understanding my request. I went ahead and rewarded my my order which I said I would like to substitute hard taco for soft taco, and I was prompted to speak to a live person now I understand the concept of why they are having the automated message. However, it did take me about twice the amount of time to order had I spoke to a live person just simply said I wanted a Mexican pizza combo with soft tacos instead of hard tacos, it would've been simple transaction and I would have been prompted to the next step. My review is specifically for the corporate office to take this into the consideration I ordered from. Their menu has all the original items plus sometimes bonus items. I recently ordered their Box that came with 4 tacos, a mexican pizza, and wings for $20 bucks! Can I just say, kudos to Taco Bell on their wings!!! They are crispy, as I like them, with a bit of a dry rub seasoning that is delicious! My fave for sure! The Mexican Pizza is always good and the Classic Tacos always hit the spot!
