Denise made our lunch trip quite enjoyable. Ended up having the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, surf and turf burrito and some beef birria tacos. Paired everything some Pacifico beers and a Michelada. This is a nice little restaurant with ample comfortable seating inside and out. Parking is also plentiful. It is also has some of the best salsa combos I have ever had! Been on a carne asada taco bender for the most of 2026... Saw that this place was just a short drive from us AND they have watermelon drinks... had to try it. The tacos are fantastic! Employees are so welcoming and friendly and the wait from the time I ordered to when I received it was honestly less than 5 minutes. Maria took my order and she was so sweet and friendly. I ordered the Al pastor tacos and chips. Al pastor so tender and flavorful. Topped the tacos with a little pickled onion at their salsa bar, but honestly were so flavorful on their own that it didn't need it. The chips were fantastic, $1.50 for them, you cannot beat that price. I love the drink cups with the straw less lid. 10/10 recommend coming here if you are in the area. I am thinking that we caught them on an off night-got a birria taco and a carne asada taco, neither were super impressive. The service was extremely slow-we ordered to go and each taco was in its own box which was a huge waste of plastic overall. The salsa bar was clean and stalked but overall not worth the price of the tacos. This is one of our go to spots when we want Mexican food on a lazy Saturday. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and the self service salsa cart is always stocked and spotless. The staff is always very friendly and you're never standing at the counter for more than a handful of seconds before someone is greeting you. They have a really good selection of cold agua frescas, the horchata is usually the craving that starts the chain of events that bring us in. The tortillas are amazing, great chew and flavor, if they aren't home made then whoever sells to them is a trade secret. Our must-have item is the chilaquiles burrito. It's tangy, a little spicy, and very generous with the chips and cheese. I was craving for some tacos and wanted to try a new spot close to home and I'm happy that I did! I ordered the carne asada and birria street tacos, super fries, and a horchata. Everything came out fast. The tacos were packed with meat and had flavor. One thing I appreciated was how the tortillas held together while eating and did not break apart. I came here recently for lunch with my mom. The place was super clean and had plenty of indoor seating space, outdoor seating available too for plaza. Every time we come here it doesn't disappoint. Price is not the cheapest but the quality of meat and portion is worth it. They also have taco Tuesday special, $2.49 each taco. A ton of salsa was given as well. Fish taco was very good and again ample amount of meat. Two tortillas to hold that shark together! BRC burrito was lived by the vegetarian in the household. You can either order at the counter or on their self-serve kiosk. I ordered the carne asada and pastor tacos ($2.95 each). I preferred the asada meat more but I liked the pastor taco more. The pastor taco had tons of pineapple on top and I liked the addition of the aioli. I also ordered the California burrito with asada ($14.25) and the loaded fries with pastor ($14.95). The burrito was creamy and I thought it was one of the better ones I've had in Orange County. The fries were crinkle cut which aren't my preferred but they were fine. The cotija cheese on the fries were uncommon but a nice addition. I liked that they had fresh ingredients like pico and aioli to help with the heavy of the fries, meat, and cheese. My only gripe is that the portions could've been bigger. They have a salsa bar on the side; they had pickled red onions which is unique and you don't always see that. Stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 6:00. We called ahead to order, and the food was ready when I arrived. They have a salsa bar with 3 different salsas, pickled onions, limes and radishes. I had the Al Pastor tacos which were filled pretty well and had a good amount of sauce on them. They also add pineapple on their al pastor which I have not had before, but the pineapple was super sweet and added a nice touch. I ordered 3 taquito platter(loaded with crema, pico, lettuce, avocado) with a pina fresca and a carne asada mulita. As I was sitting I saw the chips go out to tables and they looked super fresh and crispy so I went back in line to order a side and their queso and chile. I decided to give this place a second chance. I regret my decision. I ordered one shrimp taco and one Al Pastor street taco along with a fountain drink. Both of the tacos were festooned with too much sauce and such, which overwhelmed the meat to the point it was hard to taste the meat. The shrimp taco was disgusting to me. A lot of the time, simpler is better. There are much better tacos to be had in Tustin. I can think of at least three places. Another gripe: I told the woman who took my order I wanted it "for here." She soon brought out my order in open to go boxes. She apologized and said, words to the effect of they mistakenly put the order in to go boxes. That was as easy fix "they" apparently were too lazy to fix. Today was a mistake I won't make again. Below is my edit to address the following condescending and sarcastic remarks by business manager Jesse S: "First time, the tortilla was too small, and the parking lot is terrible. Now, the tacos have too much sauce and are disgusting because they weren't simple with Fewer ingredients, how you like them. Did you read the menu that describes all the ingredients and how they are made? The shrimp taco is one of our bestsellers; maybe our regulars like disgusting tacos? Also, you complained that they accidentally served your order in a to-go container, and this upset you. This is a quick-service food establishment; actually, the to-go containers are nicer than the paper plates we serve the food on. In any event, I always decline such offers. A gift card therefore would not have been sent to me. - As for the statement "we're glad we won't have to see you again," Jesse S should speak to the woman who handled my order yesterday (Monday, May 5 a little after 11:00 a.m.) about my demeanor . I suspect she would say I was courteous and polite, and, if she is aware of it, that I tipped 20%. It's pay at the counter before the food is even prepared.
