What a great variety of menu they offer! They have so many different items on their menu that can cater to your cravings. I ordered their Ahi Tuna Salad and it was so delicious. The tuna, the salad, and all the toppings were so fresh and flavorful! It was so flavorful that I rarely had to use the dressing. The dressing was also really good touch to it. Love the onion strings in it too. We ordered it for to-go and even with that, it was perfect. Highly recommend and def will go back to try their burgers and fries in person. read more

A fun spot for burgers with multiple locations in Irvine. We went to this one for a fundraiser and they were donating 25% of the profits to the organization. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. The indoor seating is made up of mostly large tables. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. The staff is very friendly and they keep the line moving quickly. It looks like after you're done dining, the staff will clean up the tables. There was a point where all the trash cans were full and a lot of the tables still had used trays and trash that had been sitting for a while. Even so, there were still plenty of clean tables that were open. My favorite item to order is actually the short rib grilled cheese. It's packed with meat and the outside of the bread has toasted cheese on it. The burgers are a decent size and they have lots of options for sides and drinks. Besides the food being reliable and delicious the times I've been there, the manager and team provide great service. I really appreciated the manager going out of her way to explaining things to me and making sure my order was right. She is super kind and warm, and that's rare to find at any big establishment. The chicken chopped salad does not skimp on the chicken pieces, it was loaded with so much protein and veggies. Came here for the first time with a friend to catch up. I have heard of The Stand, but never been until now. Unfortunately, it seems that the date and time I came in was bad timing. I came on a Wednesday around 6pm, and was really surprised to see how large and spacious the restaurant is. You order at the front counter, and they give you a number to bring to your table. The girl working the counter was super sweet and friendly! We got to sample a few beers, and ultimately I ended up going with the cherry limeade seltzer and it was amazing. I ordered the piri piri chicken, with half rice and half lettuce. It wasn't until after I paid, and started walking towards a table that another staff notified me that they were out of rice, and I could sub it for more greens. I was a little bummed to find out after the fact, without an option to change my order. The piri piri chicken itself was delicious, and the sauce it came was paired perfectly! The food is good. Unfortunately while they say they bus the tables, that doesn't appear to include wiping them down. Combined with the demon spawn who haven't been taught about inside voices and their keepers who don't care and let them do whatever they want, it's so noisy It makes me not want to go there. read more

I've dined in and have ordered a couple times through door dash. The Stand never has disappointed me! I love their salads, burgers and hot dogs. I ordered delivery through the Stand website which made it very easy. They use the Door Dash platform. Today we ordered a chili hot dog, and mushroom burger and an egg bacon burger. The burgers were great! We were able to order it with a medium cook which is great. I can't do well done burgers! Our burgers were delicious and well prepared. I have had the French onion soup burger and the burger with the crispy onion strings in the last and they're both excellent as well. We ordered a chili dog with banana peppers and red onions but there wasn't much chili on the hot dog so I was a little disappointed! The hot dog bun had cooked so it wasn't as good as eating it in the restaurant. I have gone into the restaurant a few times. It's always clean and the service is solid. You order and pay first at the counter and they will give you a number for your table. They bring the food to the table so I'd suggest tipping appropriately when you order and pay since they do serve you the food. One of my favorite burger places for sure! Highly recommend. read more

I've been going to The Stand in a different location for awhile now, and I would like to leave this review because I've received awesome service from Weston (thank you for being so accommodating!). Burgers here are excellent (even the basic $9 stand burger is delicious), beef patty cooked to your preference. I love how they have different milk shake flavors by the seasons (this time they have a strawberry shake - please bring back the Thai tea milkshake!). They have inside seating and outside seating and bathrooms are nice and clean. Went on a weekday during lunch and ambiance was pretty calm but cheery. We stopped on a whim to have lunch at The Stand in Tustin today. We were pleasantly surprised! It was great. My husband ordered a hamburger, and I ordered a grilled chicken burger along with onion rings. My husband ordered it while I had our new puppy comfortably seated outdoors, but he forgot to include an iced tea. When it was time to be served (you order inside, and they will bring it to your table), there was no drink, but our server, Weston, went in and grabbed me an iced tea, and we were set. What a great place for local eats and great service. We will definitely go back again. The tables were all clean and ready for the next, and I do appreciate the cleanliness. Thank you, Weston, for serving us with smiles and a helpful hand - it is hard to find that these days! One special thing to note, at least for me, with dog-friendly places is that, since I had my dog and couldn't go in to order, there was a huge menu at the door that was easily seen from the outside. I enjoyed the burger and finished the entire thing without a problem. The fries on the other hand were a little soggy and lacked the crispiness I was looking for in fries. My friend enjoyed her salad, but she left a lot of the salad and other toppings behind.
