The BurgerStop is a good burger place a few blocks for my office. They serve up a good burger here. They always have a line of people waiting every time I showed up. The line moves quickly. The avocado bacon cheeseburger that I ordered both times were good. Burgers are bigger than your normal chain restaurants. I've enjoyed the food the couple of times I showed up. When I want a burger and don't want to go to a chain restaurant, I definitely will keep this place in mind. read more

Mom and pop spot with the no frills type of burger. These are the spots that I enjoy the most. Came on a whim and I was not disappointed. There was a bit of a line, but I consider that a good thing. They had a good assortment besides just burgers. They had sandwich's and salads, which was nice. I got the hamburger and a side of fries. Nothing beats a mom and pop burger place. The burger was flavorful, good amount of veggies, and their sauce was great. Fries were crisp and lightly salted perfectly. Inside is a bit small and no drive-thru, but I like the vibe. One of the best burgers I've had for the price. The meat was the best part, it was nice and charred with a good amount of flavor and all the ingredients looked fresh and tasted fresh. Don't let this little Restaurant detour for going in. It has 9 tables, 5 are 4 top and the other 4 are 2 top tables. Their classic Hamburger is just under $5 and nice sized served with a thousand island type sauce. I love adding an order of zucchini fries, which are also just under $5. It's made to order fresh for you--and so darn good that I have to convince myself not to eat my burger before I make it back home. I am glad to say I finally took a chance on this place and I can understand why (at least to me) this is a Santa Ana staple. Me and my cousin arrived around 6:15pm and was able to order immediately. I believe the front counter guy was named Hector, least that what it said on the receipt, he was really helpful and polite! My cousin ordered a bacon avocado burger while I ordered the colossal cheese burger which was basically a pastrami burger and a side of onion rings. The restaurant itself is pretty small but had plenty of seating. Also played some catchy tunes. The food was made fresh to order which was awesome and took about 5-7 minutes for it to come out. The burger itself was huge! And plenty of fries and onion rings came with the order. First trying the onion rings, and they were crispy! Absolutely delicious when you dip them in ranch. Definitely a must try here! The fries itself were fresh and crunchy! Now for the pastrami burger... it came with a generous amount of pastrami and tasted delicious! I'm starting to see why this place is highly rated! I paid around $18 for my entire meal which was honestly a great deal considering the portions of everything. I was in the mood for a good charbroiled burger so I came here after a quick search of the area on yelp. The service was friendly and fast. The burger could have been better but the fries were really good. I got a cheeseburger and the patty had very little flavor with the cheese not helping at all. What a great place for a burger for sure! I got a cheese burger combo and it was delicious. This is better than most burger places i been to around the city. They customer service was good. Food came out hot! Soda machine tasted fresh, not flat which is a plus and it's self served. The cheese burger and onion rings overall were extremely good. But the star of the show and i swear are the chicken nuggets! I will say that the chicken nuggets here are some of the best i ever had, better than MCD even. It's a small place with a no turn only lane so be ready to kobe it if you're not willing to wait for it to clear. The prices were fucking unreal I never seen burgers and a drink for under 10 and 5 respectively and it made me happy to have a budget friendly meal in this economy. For as packed as my experience was food came out under 5 min and were delicious. Beyond juicy and seasoned whether it was the burger and fries. Showed up extremely excited to try this spot after driving by many times but the Asian lady who works, possibly runs the place? Completely made it the worst experience i have ever had in a burger place. I ordered a chili burger and got a burger drenched in mustard and maybe a teaspoon of chili. It was disgusting. I asked my husband to ask them to remake it and instead of just fixing it the Asian lady started giving him a very condescending lesson on how to order a burger. He was being very polite and patient and she just kept badgering him with how to order next time. She asked him 5 times if he wanted no mustard or light mustard and the next one and came back to ask again because she was too busy lecturing him instead of listening. I finally intervened to tell her to stop being rude to him and she then started throwing a tantrum talking about God saying she wasn't trying to be rude when that is EXACTLY what she was doing. We weren't even upset about the burger we just wanted it fixed. We have never had such a problem fixing an order before. Nor have we ever been told off before for doing so. She continued to harass us for 10 minutes talking about God and telling us how to order and repeatedly asking if we want mustard until I finally lost my patience and asked for my money back and for her to just leave us alone. She still took another 5 minutes harassing us till she went to get my money then came back and harassed us some more. I have never met a more sanctimonious, condescending, rude, annoying person in my ENTIRE LIFE. I would NEVER come back and most definitely NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone. EVER. Being treated like we are evil or committing a crime just because we didn't want half a bottle of mustard on our burger was completely mind blowing and unacceptable. I had one of the worst experiences at this spot. I ordered chili cheese fries, and what I got was a cold mess of plain fries with barely any cheese. No chili, no seasoning, nothing. Just cold fries thrown in a box. When I asked to return the food, they told me "OK," so I drove all the way back -- straight from the hospital after just having a baby. When I got there, they suddenly refused to take it back. I even offered to pay the difference to exchange it for a burger, and they still told me no. This is beyond terrible service. I just had a baby and was looking for something quick to eat, and they made it impossible. To make it worse, they wouldn't even let me place the order myself because I'm not the mother -- I literally had to pull out my phone and find the nearest spot just to try to get some food. I wasted time and gas for nothing. Food: Cold, flavorless, not what I ordered. Service: Rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to make it right. If you just want a really good simple cheeseburger, this little gem is definitely worth checking out. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity and portion you receive especially with prices rising at most fast food chains. They were busy tonight with the air conditioning temporarily broken during one of the hottest days, but the staff were friendly and hardworking filling orders with care and a fan running (a service man eventually fixed it an hour before closing.) The ice machine also temporarily got jammed with a group of customers trying to get drinks, but a staff member got on a step stool to scoop ice during the busy dinner hour because he couldn't unjam it from the dispenser below with tongs. The woman who was working the register was sweet and professional when customers received their food to ensure the accuracy of their order. The place is casual and has some outdoor seating.
