    Bruschetta Board

Honestly one of the hidden gem I got to visit! Their bruschetta board is definitely worth a try! My favorite woukd be the salmon and the mushroom, it was DELICIOUSSSS. Their soups of the moment were also very good. Customer service is great, be aware it was a bit busy so it did take a bit for us to get greeted

Service and food is great! I was told the bruschetta board is their most popular dish so I tried some different styles/flavors and they did not disappoint!!! The apple one is the star, the sweet and spicy goat cheese was amazing, the chefs choice (pear & something I can't remember) was phenomenal, and the prosciutto - how can you even go wrong with prosciutto? Also, didn't really try their drinks other than cucumber honey lemonade, but man was it good. My only complaint is that the music drowns out conversation so you have to talk loudly. Definitely not stopping me from coming back though!

Great place to hang out with friends. Decent cocktails. Lots of beers and wines. It's loud in the patio so our party had to talk loudly. Service was good considering our party kept growing. We ordered a few shareables: Herbed French Fries - a must! So good. Crispy Cauliflower - not really crispy. It's more "roasted" and seasoned. Felt like it wasn't cooked long enough. Roasted Mushroom Fondue - creamy and delicious but watch out! It's got a kick to it!! Soup of the Moment was a tomato based soup with tortellini. Pretty good but also spicy. Caesar Salad with Salmon - not bad. I thought it was going to be a roasted piece of fish but it was more like a dollop of smoked salmon. I wish there was more salmon. For a cocktail, I tried the Violet Femme. Good but a little too sweet for me. Service started out good in the beginning but then dwindled down toward the end.

Always a favorite. We love the bruschetta boards and always get the fig/apple, prosciutto, smoked salmon and pistachio ones. We tried their chef's special that day too with the pear and honey and smashed peas. The romesco cauliflower is amazing and a crowd favorite. If only they would the sauce in a bottle. We love the vibe of the restaurant and meeting friends here. The service is always very fast and very nice. We will continue to keep coming back here!

After two busy days exploring Disneyland and waiting in long lines at Downtown Disney restaurants, we opted to have dinner elsewhere. Since we were staying in a lovely area of Irvine, we discovered this spot. The wall adorned with vintage radios (possibly from the '80s and '90s) was especially cool, and I really enjoyed their playlist! Our delicious dinner turned out to be the perfect way to end our trip. We chose to share a variety of dishes from the "Snacky Things" and "Boards" sections of the menu: Meatballs, Goat, & Cheese - wonderfully flavorful, robust with garlic and herbs, rich yet not too heavy. OMG Grilled Cheese - Incredibly cheesy and decadent, far beyond a simple, crispy grilled cheese. Steak and Chicken Skewers - Tender, juicy meat served with a zesty, bright Sicilian garlic yogurt. Sweet Potato Wedges - While I usually prefer them fried, these baked wedges were well-seasoned and still delicious. Bruschetta Sampler (unfortunately, my photo turned out blurry, so I deleted it!) Though it's no longer on their menu, this was our favorite dish. We sampled several bruschetta boards: Brie, Apple, and Fig Spread (our top pick); Ricotta, Dates & Pistachio (runner-up); Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone (third place); and Smoked Salmon & Pesto (still delicious!). I especially loved how they divided each bruschetta into fourths so everyone could try them. It was a wonderful final dinner in Irvine before heading home. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly, and the food arrived quickly. She even complimented my daughter's Disneyland sweater, sparking a sweet conversation about Guardians of the Galaxy. I wish I had caught her name.

Such a cute wine bar with a great happy hour! $28 for a bottle is a steal! My friend and I got the fries, olives, and a bruschetta board and everything was excellent! I especially loved the burrata, bacon, arugula, and tomato one but all of them were really yummy and paired well with the wines. Luis and Alejandro were our servers and they were attentive but gave us our space to yap. They checked in when they noticed we were low on drinks or food and were super welcoming and friendly overall. Postino has a great outdoor patio summer vibe to just hang out for a few hours, have some wine, and bask in the warmth of the sun. Parking is also a hassle in this plaza but it's big enough that if you drive around a few times, you'll find something.

Parking can be difficult since they share a lot with a lot of other businesses. Get there early to find a spot. Make a reservation to avoid a wait. Plenty of options inside and outside. They have umbrellas when it's sunny and heaters when it's cold. Their bruschetta boards are my go to item. You can pick 4 different ones on your board for around $20. They cut each slice of bread into 4 strips. The OMG Grilled Cheese was not as cheesy as I hoped it would be. However the tomato soup is delicious. While I'm glad we tried it, we probably wouldn't order this again.

Came here on a weekend around 1pm and was seated quickly! Service was great, we have Benjamin, who was super quick and friendly (if you need any suggestions, he's your guy). Love that they have $7 wine everyday before 5pm. Great place for a girl dinner, with their wine promo and shareable bruschetta and boards. They're currently running a special Battle of the Bruschetta where they feature 2 different bruschettas and you can vote for your fav. Ambiance is chill and they also have the World Cup games playing at the bar.

The food was delicious! The service was great! Our waitress comp'd a Crispy cauliflower because it was our first time, and that dish was incredibly well balanced. Romesco sauce was savory and the caper/ raisin topping was the perfect pairing to go with the cauliflower! Highly recommended! On top of that we enjoyed a flight of different toasts. Each one was individually great and paired well with our wine. Postino's outdoor patio combined with good eats and wine was a great lunch vibe! We will be returning! See y'all there!

Recent patio experience on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. was not that great. One server didn't stay with us the whole time, so messages were getting miscommunicated within the trio of waiters. The first guy was nice, easy going, and knew his stuff. However, the two other guys looked annoyed that we weren't leaving fast enough because it looked like they were getting the patio tables ready for something as they were putting down the reserved markers on the tables. Well, they didn't tell us before hand, so I'm not sure what they wanted us to do. I made a reservation in advance and put down "birthday" as the special occasion we were celebrating. They did absolutely nothing for the celebration, so I'm at a loss as to why they even ask when I made the reservation. My friend who is vegetarian wanted to sub meat on the sandwich for avocado, and he said they can't do that. That's crazy to me. He said different meats can be substituted but not avocado replaced for a meat. I hope they change that "rule" soon. Not sure why any person would pay full price for a meal when the expensive part of the dish is taken out and can't be substituted. The only saving grace at this place were the donut holes. Those are phenomenal and the only reason I added any stars to this restaurant. If I return, it's going to be to take the donuts home as a to-go order. My tuna sandwich was extremely fishy and even tasted like there was bacon fat used in it instead of mayo. The potato leek soup was not good. It was watery and had the leeks extremely limp and overly cooked. I pictured a thicker soup when it mentioned potato--nope. It was a watery mess of a concoction. I think the expression on my face must have been very disdainful because it was nothing like I pictured. The patio faces a parking lot that is partly under construction. The service is what messed up this experience for me.

My client and I decided to try this spot out for happy hour and we both love the concept. Nothing beats wine, small bites to share and great vibes. We ordered the bruschetta board (mix and match), chicken & beef skewers with garlic yogurt, and meatballs to enjoy with our drinks. All dishes were very flavorful and paired really well with the wine. You can't go wrong with any of these dishes. Each bite was delish! Also, our server was on top of it, which we really appreciated. Love quick service and attentiveness. Highly recommend this spot for date night, GNO, or happy hour.

I'm obsessed with Postino Park Place! It was my first time here recently and I enjoyed the whole vibe and menu. It has a hipster vibe with lots of references to music, like the concert fliers in the bathroom and the boom boxes on the walls as decor. They have a large wine bar, lots of happy hour specials and some delicious foods. They are known for the bruschetta bites. We ordered the flight and you get 6 options to share and then they slice them into four smaller pieces. It was a fantastic appetizer. The service was wonderful and we loved sitting on the outdoor patio. My salad was pretty good and I loved seeing the zero proof menu too! Overall it was an A+ experience and I can't wait to go back soon!

    What time is happy hour!?

Daily from11am - 5 pm. $7 glasses of wine and $7 pitchers of beer.

Hello, can you accommodate a group of 100? Thank you.

Hi Mike thanks for reaching out! Our group dining team would be happy to help out, please call 602-297-3287. Thank you

Is there a corkage fee? Thank you!

No, there's no corkage fee if you open a bottle while dining and cork it to go!

    Is it decorated for Christmas?

Hi Christi we don't have any Christmas decor but we do have a cozy, seasonal vibe that's perfect for a board of bruschetta and a glass of wine.

Is it warm? If its going to be raining outside..

When I had dinner there in November, they had heaters outdoor and people seemed comfortable.

Do they have a happy hour?

They do have happy hour! It is everyday until 5pm!

Any restriction at night for under 21?

    No there isn't

Do they play 90's music in general or 90's hip hop?

Happy hours from what time to what time please?

It's on their website. Opening until 5 every day. Looks like wine and beer specials only.

    Does Postinos take reservations?

    Yes

    Is there a kids menu?

No, but they have some options kids may like, grilled cheese or chicken skewers!

    Are reservations required or recommend?

They take res only for larger parties.

How is the noise level? I am hard-of-hearing.

It's a little loud in the evenings but they might be able to seat you in a quieter corner.

Do you serve your regular menu Saturday at lunch time or is it a brunch menu?

Hi Deb, thanks for reaching out with your question! Our brunch menu is available until 1pm and our regular menu is available throughout the day. We hope to see you soon!

Would you be able to split checks for a large group?

Linda: just let us know at the beginning of your experience and we can do separate checks for your group! See you soon!

Parking seems impossible? When is the lot less crowded?

The parking lot is huge but shared with many other businesses. We found parking immediately, arriving just before the lunch crowd. But I've seen cars come and go, so as with many other places, just drive around and you are bound to find a spot in…

They have tons of parking in this shopping center. They share it with TONS of other places. One of my BFFs saw this on an Instagram video and wanted to check it out. *They do take reservations When we came in we checked in with one of the waitresses. She said she would seat us in a minute. To be honest, she did forget about us. A waiter walked up to us and asked us what was going on (we were standing there for around 7 - 10 minutes) and we told him we had a reservation for the speakeasy. He immediately apologized and sat us. This camp themed speakeasy has a couple booths. It's on the smaller sides. Which, speakeasy's are usually small to begin with. I did not get the waitresses name, my friend and I were busy catching up. The waitress was nice, but not attentive. I will say service was a 2/5. However, the actual restaurant, cozy pine is located in, was packed because of the World Cup being on TV. So I definitely was not going to complain The food Our food order did come out extremely FAST. Faster than our drink orders. -the campfire guacamole -BBQ shoestring fries (had bbq seasoning all over them so it tasted like a BBQ potato chip) -Glamping plate (charcuterie board) -steak tacos (one without onion and cilantro -churro affogato Again, the food was VERY fast!! When you go thru the sliding doors it immediately transports you to a different time and place. Its very dark. Sleek. And modern. Yet simple. I love the big screen tvs with areal views of New York. It just made it feel like we were in a high rise building or a blimp with a birds eye view of many of New Yorks beautiful landmarks. The couches were extremely comfortable too. Great cushion. You just sink into them. Its a small area but great utilization of the space, making it seem large and spacious. The chairs too were really comfortable to sit in. We spent 3 hours in there and it flew by so quickly. The ambiance and feel here was just truly top notch. Our waitress was Brandy, or is it Brandi? She was super cool. She was a one person crew. Basically getting orders, making drinks, cleaning tables, and checking in on us. And she did it with great charisma, attitude and personality. Super knowledgeable about the menu. Made great drinks quickly. And was just super personable. Great job from her!! Her attitude and demeanor really matched the top tier aura they were going for here. They have a great selection of drinks. From more alcohol forward drinks to light and fruity drinks to refreshing drinks. I really did enjoy their drink selections. We had a total of about 6 drinks and they were all really good! We got there: 1. Fox's wedding- light, seeet and refreshing. I love the origami piece that Brandy put on it as well. Looked so beauitful. 2. Guava chiffon pancake- it was tropical, light but also had a coconut feel to it. It was really good. 3. The Monroe- this was light but tart, but not too tart. Silky with fruit forward notes. 4. Miso honey butter corn- rarely is a savory cocktail good. But this one was pretty good. The butter fat washed burbon was super intriguing. But it works well 5. When pigs fly- came with a paper airplane on top!! Haha. Love the playfulness. But the drink was so complex yet smooth. It was really good. For the bourbon drinkers, this one is for you! 6. Smoked Old Fashion- presentation is amazing. Comes in a big glass case that has cherry wood smoke inside. When you open it, you get that intense smell of burning cherry wood. Drink is smokey but in a very good way. Tasted amazing. A true classic done right. Their food menu is very encompassing and thorough as well. From full on burgers, to flat breads, to appetizers and small bites, to salads. They have a little of everything!! We ordered the following: 1. Pub nachos- this was an extremely large plate of loaded nachos. Super crunchy and fresh. I loved the generous amount of Chipotle chicken on top. The pepper jack queso sauce and jalapeño crema was a really good sauce. It just binded everything together. The beans and the fresh jalapeño just really all worked together. It was super good. Kept you grazing and munching away, but never becoming too full (more room for their drinks!!). 2. Figgy piggy flat bread- it was ok. Sweet caramel onions and fig jam, paired with some pungent cheeses. I thought it was pretty good. 3. Shrimp street tacos- 1 order comes with 2 tacos. They were good sizes. I love their tacos. So flaverful. Everything works together. Just tasted amazing!! Overall everything about this place is 5 stars. The ambiance, the decor, the exclusivity. The service. The drinks and the food. As i said 3 hours went by so fast!! Definitely a must try when in the area. And when you stay at the Marriott, its just a simple walk back to your room. And we left feeling happy and amazing. Thank you very much Brandy!!

Our server was so helpful and friendly - they grill your food for you at the table, so it's always a plus when they're able to 1. grill the meat perfectly but also 2. make their frequent visits at your table a comfortable one. We opted to order the following meats à la carte: the KSC signature tableside kalbi (which they marinade on the spot and serve with asparagus), then the 48-hour marinated kalbi Seoul style AND Suwon style. I personally liked the Seoul style the most (I felt like it was the perfect balance of salty and sweet), followed by the KSC signature (sweeter than Seoul), and lastly the Suwon style - but they were all superrr tender and full of flavor~ The inside definitely gives off a classy modern vibe, so it's perfect for date night and/or special occasions.

While cooking, the server dropped a piece of grill beef onto the table and put it right back onto our plate. (Hmm. I guess the 5 second rule applies? :) ) We ordered potato cheese pancake, which was good but very oily. The cold noodle was interesting. It came with some sauce (least favorite item). The brisket was my favorite. And the kalbi was pretty good- very tasty

The drinks were also fantastic. Prices for happy hour were competitive. No issues with parking. There is a large parking structure and its validated at the restaurant. Overall atmosphere is modern and slick. Lots of nearby worker seem to come here after work. Pro tip. They give a discount for cash payments. I think it was 3-4%. Will be coming back during non happy hour to try out their risotto.

Cocktails are super good! And they don't skimp on the alcohol. Went with the French 75, ever unique with the ginger pear! 2. The puff bread is a must! It's so fluffy and the thyme butter is delicious! 3. The mussels were good as well! They used a unique curry lobster sauce and it was delicious! My only complaint was that the bread was burnt/charred and very hard. They brought out new bread for us, it was softer but tasted a little stale. 4. They were out of the Branzino and the sea bass crudo (2 items we wanted to try). But went with the chicken. Super juicy and the aji sauce was pretty good. It came with quinoa as well. I usually never order chicken at an upscale restaurant but since they were out of the items I wanted to try I went with it. Not something I would order again to be honest, but it was definitely good. 5. The seafood risotto is a must! Amazing and one of the best I've had! Came with blue crab, shrimp, and lobster! 6. Went with the peach butter cake for dessert. Good flavor! But the butter cake itself was not as soft/moist as I hoped. Mastros butter cake has set the bar, and I am always comparing butter cakes to Mastros. But definitely worth a try! Overall, really enjoyed the dinner, even with some bumps, waitress was super accommodating and checked on us often!

The cooking uses quality ingredients and love and care. I was here on business by myself and was seated immediately and after a quick look at the menu decided on the devil's cut ribeye a steak. It comes with a massive amount of oven, roasted potatoes and green beans. I also got a side salad with it as well which was way too much food for one person. The entire thing was big enough for two normal or maybe even three light eaters. The steak was excellent with a sweet coffee rub with a slightly sweet mapley taste. I could only finish about half and save the rest for the next day. Even though I was full, I decided to try the fried apple pie because it was recommended by many other reviewers. It was actually amazing. It was the dish that was highly recommended by the server and she was not wrong. The ice cream on top was probably House made and the pie itself was like a gourmet version of a hostess apple pie but of course with much higher quality ingredients and it was delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is exciting. It is a fun place to visit with the visual aspects such as the bird cages in the window case. Oak barrels used for aging whiskey are set around and the general vibe was very attractive. Everyone was having a great time and making quite a lot of noise from all the conversation and the music, but people were really enjoying themselves. If you want to have a quiet conversation with someone, this is probably not your place, but if you want a fun time with that kind of vibe, it is an excellent place. I recommend Bosscat highly.

We had a noon reservation for a large team lunch (party of 14). Upon arrival, the main indoor…read moredining area was relatively empty, though the patio was completely packed--clearly, it's the popular spot. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and I can easily see it being a great date spot in the evening. Because our group was so large, I couldn't sample or photograph every dish, but here is my breakdown of the items ordered near my end of the table: 01. Arugula Salad (half) $8.00 - 3 Stars - Light and exceptionally simple, topped with red onions and parmesan cheese. Frankly, it was a bit too simple, the dressing was entirely unmemorable. 02. Prime Rib Dip $25.50 - 3 Stars - This arrived looking very promising. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the creamy horseradish packed a powerful punch (it will definitely clear out your sinuses). Unfortunately, the thinly sliced meat was slightly overcooked, dry, and a bit chewy. While the au jus was flavorful, I've definitely had better prime rib dips elsewhere. 03. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich $20.50 - 2 Stars - This was the biggest disappointment of the lunch. It looked great initially, but hiding a layer of mashed potatoes underneath the chicken was a strange choice that made the bottom bun instantly soggy. The chicken itself lacked crunch, likely because it was completely doused in what tasted like standard Frank's RedHot sauce (tangy and vinegar-forward, but not actually spicy). No wonder there are barely any photos of this online; I wouldn't order it again. 04. Lobster Roll $32.00 - 3 Stars - Beautifully presented with large chunks of lobster and a side of sweet potato fries. However, at this price point, it felt overpriced for the portion size. The flavor was a bit bland and lacked a "wow" factor. While I appreciated the use of butter lettuce to keep the roll from getting soggy, the lobster meat didn't actually fill out the bread end-to-end. On the bright side, the butter sauce was quite good. 05. Creme Brulee $12 - 3 Stars - A very standard crème brûlée with a decent portion size. It was served completely chilled, which threw off a few of my colleagues. While it's traditionally served chilled, some places serve it closer to room temperature, so this really just comes down to personal preference. 06. Fresh Seasonal Cobbler $12.00 - 3 Stars - As a massive fan of cobblers, I was underwhelmed. The berries were cooked down so much that they lost their form entirely, taking on a jam-like consistency. The crust layer was incredibly thin and soggy, making the whole dessert feel mushy. Luckily, the vanilla ice cream helped cut through the intense sweetness, but overall it was just okay. LOCATION/PARKING - The restaurant sits right on the corner and shares a parking structure with Monaco, The Trough, and Izakaya Osen. Valet parking is available, and the restaurant validates for 90 minutes. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The service seems to depend heavily on who you get. While the staff was generally friendly, they weren't particularly attentive, and we constantly had to ask for refills. To be fair, assigning just one server to a party of 14 is a tough ask, this venue is likely better suited for smaller groups. VERDICT - Overall, the menu feels a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. If my team decides to host another lunch here, I wouldn't object to returning.

When I said "Bar" and "Santa Ana" in the Yelp search - of course it said "Club 616" in the first…read morespot - OF COURSE IT SAID 616!!! I was lucky enough to stumble across this gem of the center of OC when they first opened - and I am proud to be a regular here. I don't know how to go somewhere else - because I feel like the staff are giant gems in this jewel of a spot. Winters is a curator of boozy information that has helped me learn about "gin" and "root beer whiskey" so I can sound like an adult-ish purveyor, when really I know close to nothing except being a willing student to his creations. Dan the Man and Jacob always see me raise my hand in the corner of the bar, like the student I am, and have been willing to fill in the blanks for me when I know I am of thirst, but do not have the words for what to order. Every person working in the well has treated me with kindness - they have taken the time to get to know me, and I will be forever appreciative of how they have taken care of me over the years. But the real joy has been the transformation that this spot has for building a community of people in Santa Ana for real recognizing real. I have been bringing my Dad with me to play pool for the past few years. Sometimes people ask me if he plays professionally, I am terrible, and my skill incline is slow, he is patient and plays with the same level craftiness that the staff offer the cocktails. My Dad is always stoked when we have time to go have a few hours of games at 616 - especially now that there are regulars on 4th street that are excited to see that he is there playing - and they rush to write their names on the chalkboard to challenge him - or beat him in a game they really earned the W. On lazy Sundays, I watch couples sit with their drink, listening to Jazz, and watching my Dad whoop my ass while making amazing shots. I am forever grateful to Memo who sometimes takes a break from his shift behind the bar to give my dad an actual challenge - which allows me the chance to watch my Dad enjoy fellowship around the table. Knowing the table was a relic of the bars former self, and knowing the history that this spot has in Santa Ana is a reminder that so much around us can change - but it is those moments of the crack of the rack, the cheer of getting the combo shot, and the shake of hands when it's over that shows that it's not just about the pool table - but about the energy of a place that is welcoming and curated by people who care about what they do - and care about who comes through their doors. Thank you Jason and Mike B to bringing this to 4th St and supporting the community that was already here - and for building a community for the future. Thank you to Christina and Brandon for always having amazing pictures, decor, and fun events at 616 that help introduce new folks into this great spot. Time is short. Learn about Root Beer Whiskey.
