We've known Chris since his days at Klinker Brick Winery in Lodi, Ca. He has come in to his own with a delightful tasting room in Orange, Ca, where you can taste awesome wines and make candles at the same time. His wines are spot on, I got two bottles of Albariño. You gotta go!
I first tried Seis Soles wine at the taste of Orange, then I stop in for a flight of their wines after a day of Thrifting! I was impressed and knew I wanted to come back and experience more! SOOO I went to a special Wine and Charcuterie class! This was so fun, and everyone was had a great time! They not only offer wine, cheese boards, but candle making too! They also host a variety of classes and special events! This is a great spot for a unique date night, girls day or just to try something new! The service has been great every time I have been! The inside is beautiful, clean and offers a variety of seating arrangements. I even left with a few bottles for home!
Candle making while you sip on wine. That's a cute concept but we didn't have time to make candle. Shout out to Chris! He was welcoming, and friendly. You can tell that he's passionate about making his wine. $50 per person hand poured soy candle. I believe pricing is included the wine tasting menu. If you dont want to make candle then just sit back and relax and sip on some delicious wine. $20 for the tasting of you can purchase by glass. $25 Charcuterie which is made by another company. Overall, it's a cute place. I will come back if im in the area!
Such a fun experience! I came here a few weeks ago for a birthday event with my friends, and I felt like the whole experience was amazing! We were well taken care of and everyone was very attentive to needs and made sure that we understood all the instructions to make candles. The wines were all delicious, and Chris was a lot of fun to talk to! Our candles all turned out amazing, and all 7 of us had the best time! Would highly recommend coming here for an event or just for fun!
About a month ago, a friend and I stopped in to make candles at Wine and Wax for a wine tasting and candle making experience. Chris the owner of Seis Soles wines and Wine & Wax walked us through the process of candle making while we sipped a variety of delicious wines. I loved that we were able to choose our own scents. The candle making was surprisingly simple and they provide everything you need and you walk out about an hour later with a candle. The wine was so good, my friend and I each bought a bottle to take home! Highly recommend both wine and wax AND Seis Soles. It's a great date night activity, solo activity or ladies night out activity.
We came back here for a 2nd time, but this time brought along another couple. We had a great time. It was nice to chat with the owner. There are also fun games to play. I reccomend this bar as a great place to decompress.

Found Chris on yelp and I am so glad I did. This place is awesome. Scheduled online but had to reschedule and Chris was so accommodating given my last minute rescheduling. We came in on a Saturday night to a beautiful atmosphere. The place is aesthetic and he even made a little spot for me and my date. The service is superb with attentive staff. Chris helped us decide on candle combos with both of our candles coming out smelling great. The price is so fair and he pours heavy on the wine tasting. We sampled 5 wines and walked out buying 4 bottles. You start with whites and end with reds. If you love wine and candles, this place will scratch that itch. In fact, I even got a gift card for my parents because of how amazing of a time we had. Chris makes his own wine and takes pride in the quality. He is outgoing and respectful with an insane amount of knowledge on wine and candles. He's inviting and makes the experience exactly as you want. Overall, this is a great place for a date night and I recommend anyone looking for a night out to come here. 5 stars!
Went to Wine & Wax with my friends from work and what an awesome experience! Gio and Chris were great at explaining the different wines as well as the candle making process. We're a lively group and Chris & Gio joined in on the fun as well. The place was cozy, clean, and very well organized. I can't wait to go back there with my closest friends!
Paid for the wine and wax experience with a charcuterie board. Such a great and unique experience! Thank you so much to Chris & sorry forgot the other guys name. Both took time to talk & explain things even though they were busy on a Saturday. Even if you just want to pick up a bottle of wine, they have some good ones.... Albariño was light and refreshing perfect for a relaxing casual hot day. Rosé is a little bit more flavorful, but still light, refreshing, not dry, just a hint of sweetness. Red Blend with Syrah and Cab Sav was also delicious if you like jam, flavored and scent. definitely not very oak flavor, more tannin. Sol Terra red blend was definitely my favorite, though also, their most expensive perfect oak flavor, and very smooth and full of flavor, rich. The Port, was definitely my favorite port I've tried, because I don't like super sweet, even though they are dessert wines. This was definitely a sweet wine, but not too sweet. Perfect amount of sweetness. Great job! Thank you!

What a great experience! We came here for our quarterly girls' night, and it exceeded our expectations. There was a mix-up with our reservation, but they graciously accommodated our group anyway, which really set the tone for the evening. The wine was fantastic, and the candle-making was so much fun. It was such a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere that the two hours flew by. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the entire experience. One thing to keep in mind: because the candle-making experience takes about two hours, be sure to arrive at least two hours before closing so you have enough time to enjoy it all. It's absolutely worth it! The owner is incredibly welcoming, and the staff was so warm, friendly, and attentive. We can't wait to come back! read more

Did the candle making with wine tasting for Valentine's Day with some of my girls and it was such a great experience! Chris and Gebby are both amazing. Chris was incredibly responsive before the reservation and a was able to add one of my friends. Chris is also the wine maker and has won several OC Fair awards for this wine. He was interactive and friendly while still letting us do our thing. Gebby was very friendly and efficient and such a delightful person. The candle making was well explained and great scents. The wine was so good. The last wine was a port which I normally find too sweet and just too much and this port was the best I've ever had and would drink again! Found this place while searching for candle making classes and thought it looked fun. The experience was great! The owner is tons of fun, he makes beautiful wines. This review is a bit overdue, but I still wanted to take a moment to give high praise to this hidden gem and its wonderful owner, Chris. Earlier this Fall, I was looking for a candle-making class for a birthday celebration with a few close friends. At the time, Wine & Wax wasn't listed on Yelp, and nothing else caught my eye, so I ended up booking a gondola ride instead. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, and it rained heavily the weekend of my birthday. An open-air gondola ride suddenly didn't seem like the best idea, so I quickly began searching for a backup plan. That's when I found this charming spot! I called to make a reservation, and Chris was incredibly kind and accommodating. Even though there were only four spots left, he worked his magic and made room for all six of us on very short notice. The candle-making experience was made even better with a flight of wines. The studio itself was cozy and beautiful, and we had an unforgettable evening--making candles, sipping wine, enjoying a delicious charcuterie board, and sharing plenty of laughs about life's ups and downs. After the class, it was an easy stroll across the street to Gabbi's for dinner. The perfect spot, in the perfect location, with the most delightful owner. Wine & Wax is ideal for a date night or a girls' night out. read more

We celebrated a friend's birthday here and had the best time! The owner was incredibly attentive, kind, and walked us through all the different scents we could choose from for our custom candles. It was so fun creating our own unique scented candles from scratch. We also enjoyed wine during the experience and it was nice knowing the wine was made by the owner. We tried five different wines, and every single one was delicious! On top of that, we played Lotería (& other games to choose from), which made the whole vibe even more fun and relaxed. The atmosphere, the hands-on candle making, the great wine, and the friendly staff all made it such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend! read more

What a cool wine bar and concept! The owner is so friendly and makes most all of the wines that are served there. You can also do candle making there while you wine taste. I only like white wine so I tried the white wine they had and it was great. My friend drinks only red and so she tried all the wines and enjoyed them all! We can't wait to return! read more

I had seen this spot walking by with my best friend and immediately wanted to make sure I had a date night with the boyfriend. We ended up going the following weekend and it DID NOT disappoint! Wine & Wax is a tasting room from a wine maker, Chris, out of Central CA. Chris was so accommodating and had a wonderful story about taking a chance on his dream. It was really cool to hear him be so passionate about what he does and explain each detail for each wine we tasted. He also engaged with us the whole process of making a candle while we tasted wine. It was only him since he's a one man shop, so please be kind and patient. I promise, the experience is totally worth it! It was a perfect balance of engaging with Chris and our wine and wax experience along with spending some personal time with the boyfriend. On top of the candle making, you can purchase pre-made candles which are home made candles by one of his friends that he's supporting in return for supporting him. I thought that was beautiful, 2 small shop business owners just helping each other out. The candles smelled amazing! If we hadn't made our own candles, I would have probably bought one, but I'll be back to do so. So cost? Everything was definitely reasonable, MORE than reasonable! A wine tasting flight of 5 wines is $10 each and the candle making I believe was $40 per person. Stop by, hang out, its small and cozy but a perfect little spot to catch up with a friend or, like us, a date night! read more

By word of mouth , my wife found out about this place and wanted to go , so she and I went ! It was a fun, relaxing experience ! Our host (and proprietor) Chris was great! Very knowledgeable of all the wines he presented to us and the candle making process ! The wine flights were delicious and we both ordered a charcuterie board alongside the wine tasting and created our own unique fragrant candles !.... We would and are definitely going to go again in the future ! read more
