The VinoPop events are an outstanding time. Ask the VinoPop crew about the VinoPop Private events. Wow! Next level.

Vinopop events are always fun! The wines are amazing and usually presented by the owner of the winery. Thanks for putting these in Naushad!

Nice location for the event and liked the option of ordering off the menu, or not. Ran a little long so would prefer an earlier start time.

The ambiance was really nice (dim lights, beautiful paintings around) and overall had a very welcoming and comfortable feeling while still feeling upscale. By design, there were only 7 people in attendance at the tasting to promote a more intimate experience; which really added to the overall experience. I learned a lot about not only the actual wine we were tasting, but also about food pairings and good general wine tips. I really loved how the tasting/class was very interactive and conversational (yet structured) versus being talked at (or not talked to at all), as I have at other tastings. Overall, the tasting was a very thought out and well planned experience that I really enjoyed and really recommend! I went with some friends (and made new ones!), but would definitely come again as an outing for a date or would make a perfect girls night out! The wines and charcuterie presented were really good and varied a lot. I even found 2 new wines that I love! I am looking forward to taking one of the advanced speciality courses to learn more and have another fun night!

Now using the different oils to flavor or accent the food is next level. They do popcorn with olive oil instead of butter and it's amazing. My favorite is jalapeño oil for popcorn with a little kick. We've also done some of their wine and cheese tastings. Discovered so many great new wines and that comes from a beer drinker. They are full of knowledge for the beer, wine and olive oils that you can't miss finding something that hits the spot. Highly recommended.

First of all, people underage barely drink wine, let alone know what orange/skin contact wine is. Second of all, I'll show it obviously. Anyways, we came back 2 days later because we really wanted to try this place on our way back home. The owner's daughter was working, and SHE WAS SO SWEET. One of the best customer service experiences. We got some olive oil samples (lemon & basil) & it was so good w/our bread, we ended up buying the olive oil 5 piece sampler pack. Never been more into olive oil than now. That basil was extremely tasty. Also had my orange wine (amazing flavor + so crisp), plus a drink consisting of sparkling wine w/pear or peach balsamic vinegar???? Surprisingly SO GOOD. She told us there's a location in La Jolla and we live in San Diego, so we may become regulars there!! Thanks for the amazing Valentine's Day experience.

We weren't really expecting much due to their location in a small nondescript strip building, but we were very surprised. The wine tasting eperience was better than many places in Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, and Napa. We were greeted at the door with a smile and shown to the wine tasting room behind the store. The room totally set the mood: red checkered tablecloths, brick walls, wine barrels, and a rustic Tuscan mural. The host, really bad but I forget her name, Tatiana? is their culinary specialist from Eastern Eurpoe. She certainly knows her wines, suggested pairings, and explained each. She told us that Gus, the owner and winemaker, entered 10 wines in the OC Fair competition, and came away with 10 ribbons! The wines were all very good: I am mainly a red wine person, but bought a bottle of their white Wine Blend as it is the perfect "patio wine" (my phrase for a summer wine and charcuterie dinner on our patio). After the tasting, we went to see the offerings in the small store. We left with a wide assortment of wine (Zin and Primotivo), dry pasta, frozen dishes, and cookies. They shop is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, but I will definitely make time to go by again soon as there are so many other foods that I need to try.

The Hobbit Where do I even begin?…read more This place is magnificent, spectacular, and truly majestic. Every dish is beautifully created with an incredible level of attention to detail you can feel the care, artistry, and intention behind every course. The chefs here are doing something truly special. This is absolutely a special-occasion restaurant: anniversaries, milestone birthdays, wedding dinners, or a once-in-a-lifetime date night. You will be spending a pretty penny, but that's because this is not an everyday Friday-night dinner spot it's a full culinary experience. If I had the budget, I'd come every week... maybe twice. Dinner is a multi-course tasting experience that begins around 5 PM and carries you through the evening you'll likely be there until 10 PM or later. There's a wine cellar, curated pairings, and an atmosphere that feels intimate, elevated, and deeply intentional. This place is clearly designed for guests with an elevated palate and a true appreciation for the culinary arts and thoughtfully sourced, curated dishes. For just my husband and me, we spent a little over $600 for the evening, and I can honestly say every single dollar was worth it. If you're someone who loves food, storytelling through cuisine, and unforgettable dining experiences, this is a must. You're able to interact with the chefs, the staff is incredibly hospitable and professional, and the entire experience feels warm yet refined. I truly cannot rave enough about this restaurant. I came here for my wedding anniversary, which is very special to me and I have a relatively young child and they were still able to accommodate this alone to me meant the world and for them to be able to accommodate to a small child was incredibly amazing. This is hands-down one of the top dining experiences in Orange County, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart. I will absolutely be returning every year, guaranteed.

Booking was easy -I checked the site a day or so before and saw availability. Credit card needed to hold reservation -there's also a $3 service charge from OpenTable. Restaurant opens at 6pm for cocktail hours downstairs in cellar. Each cocktail is $20 and there's a board where people can ham n cheese bites with napkins -but there was a lot of bare hands touching/pulling the food. ..not appetizing at all. Foodwise -every single bite was paired with mediocrity. The overly salted amuse.. overcooked quail on top of a chalky purple yam smear, a too rare filet with a thick grey band (requested medium but this was basically blue). The lobster glazed cod was fishy -poor quality fish it seems. ...Strong flavors that don't complement one another was the theme. Also sat there awkwardly while everyone else was eating desserts. I had to flag down a waitress and ask for my dessert -she replied that there was confusion and something about togo ? I eventually got my dessert -chocolate shell with basically heavy cream -not even ice cream/mousse inside. I was in disbelief the whole meal. Even the plates were hotter than the actual food it held. How is this restaurant considered upscale and classy. It's overly expensive for mediocrity. This is a pretty scathing review and this is unfortunately a second revision, a "nicer" draft... A few of our coworkers raved about this place -might have a word with them next week. Lead astray. I think the bill was $500-$600 ? Would have been happier at Mastros.
