So a lot of local, domestic artists and lots of goods from artists overseas as well. There's, of course stickers galore, of all shapes, and sizes, styles. Do you want to decorate photocards? Scrap booking? Collect stickers? Washi tape? They have everything. Cute original characters with various themes (food, maid, coffee date, marine, etc.), licensed IP (Chiikawa, Moomin, Sanrio, etc.), fashion stickers, Y2K theme stickers, and much, much more. There's sticker collect books. Notepads, stamps, post cards, key chains, pencil cases and pouches, and much, much more. If you're a fan of these kind of wares, you can easily get sucked in for quite some time. They also have a trinket trade shelf on the wall which is neat and full stocked. There's an event calendar too for monthly events which is nice as well for community building. Staff is busy packing and stocking and organizing goods because I'll be honest, I tried taking something off a shelf, wanted to put it back, but took a very long time to figure out where it came from originally. LOL. But they were polite and efficient when I checked out. It can be quite pricy but my mind hack is telling myself I'm supporting smaller artists, a small business, and it's art and style that I can't find elsewhere. I asked the store if they would still honor it and they said they "have no way of proving it's authenticity." You may not know, but their gift certificates from that time were printed on old library catalog cards and signed by the owner. Pretty easy to see that mine is authentic. I'm more upset because there is a law in California which states "expiration dates, service fees and dormancy fees are prohibited by law for single-store cards." If I misread the law, I apologize. Nevertheless, I'm still upset that I couldn't use my gift after being so happy to initially receive and then to find it again after so long.

I was immediately taken aback at the diverse selection of both new and used books. Although it is a small store, it is packed with so many good options. I went in to browse and maybe pick up one or two newbies, but ended up leaving w 7 gems. All used books, but in good condition. With taxes, I spent only a little over $30. I was able to pick up books of stories with Mexican, Nicaraguan, Salvadoran, Puerto Rican, and Indian backgrounds. I was in literary heaven! My favorite part of the shop was a little room in the back that has shelves stocked with really old stuff. There are 2 chairs in there for patrons to sit and browse, and black and white photographs draped on the walls to accentuate the room. I had an immediate spike in endorphins! The shop also offers crochet flowers so customers can put together their own bouquets ($10 or $15 depending on which flower).
