i am really surprised verde wasnt busy! first off, it is such a cute restaurant!!! the black and white, totally my vibe. we sat outside bc i had my furbaby with me. so they are def pet friendly. also, it was such a beautiful and sunny day! our server gave his recommendations. we ordered: CAULIFLOWER $14 ROASTED PICKLED CARROTS $16 CHEESEBURGER $22 PRIME HANGER STEAK $40 okayyyy the cauliflower and the roasted pickled carrots were honestly the best out of what we ordered lol. but everything was so flavorful and blended great. the cauliflower were def my favorite dish. they were soaked in harrisa labneh glaze, red chermoula, micro cilantro... the service was amazing. beautiful restaurant for any occasion. parking: tons of parking avail. there is additional parking if you around to the rear of the building, which has an easier entrance to verde, esp if you have a stroller or wheelchair.

I had seen some reviews so suggested to try this place for a birthday dinner celebration. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Inside felt warm and cozy. They allow free corkage for a max of 2 bottles. We shared various plates so was able to try multiple menu items. My fave was the trout as it's something you don't see on many menus. It was light, tangy and flavorful. I was also impressed by the cauliflower appetizer. Overall the food and service was excellent and unique

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and interacted with Anthony. The restaurant was pretty empty, but I blame it on the weather and stagecoach. Service was top notch. The Really? Carrot? drink was soooo good. For food we ordered the salmon crudo, pickled carrots, chicken entrée and trout entrée. The salmon Crudo I wish had citrus and salt. It was still good, but I feel like I was leaning more for that flavor. Overall, we had a great lunch and the service was awesome

The food was great - we got the roasted carrots, cabbage, pork chop, trout, cheeseburger, Caesar salad and cheesecake. All were delicious and flavorful, some were a bit on the salty side like the sauce for the cabbage and the pork chop seasoning but still really good. The cheeseburger and fries were surprisingly good. I liked that the fries were kind of soft and didn't feel like they were fried too long. The service was so friendly and attentive!! The cheesecake at the end was creamy and paired with the tart fruit was delicious. Ambiance was nice and cozy. Corkage fee is free too which is a nice plus.

A neighbor recommended I check out Verde. A little hidden, I say that because I passed it a few times without even knowing it was there. I did not Google them so the name definitely threw me off. I was expecting Latin cuisine because of the name "Verde". Any who.... Started off with the "Charred Cabbage" which I enjoyed the most. I wouldve liked to see a topping to add a crunch/ texture to the dish but nonetheless this dish was solid. Ordered a glass of Pinot Noir that tasted like black berries, and "sauvage". Had a balanced finish and paired well with my chicken entree. Out came the half chicken which was smaller than expected, not as crispy as I would've liked but because the Cabbage was so bomb I won't complain about my entree. Got to try the "Really?Carrot? cocktail which was amazing. For some reason I tasted green apple but hey; who would've thought carrot and liquor pair well together. Shout out to who ever curated that drink. Lastly my waiter recommended a cheesecake. I forgot what the topping was but it tasted like orange marmalade. Took a few bites to grow on me. Apparently they have a bar downstairs that serves the full menu - I would definitely come back to experience that. Upstairs the dining area is a bit small - I think I counted less than 20 tables. Parties of 8 or more should call ahead just in case they're busy. Food does take a while to hit the table, the restaurant was empty and each dish took a while to come out. As a server who admires chef driven - farm to table - philosophies I don't mind the wait. Usually these restaurants don't have pre cooked items waiting to be reheated upon ordering. This is a small hidden gem that I would definitely come back and explore more eats with. My bill was about $95 but I did notice my drinks were priced more than my entree. If $95 a person alarms you stick to water and you'll be fine. Thank you Verde for providing dinner for me.

Nice view. Restaurant on second story. There's a parking lot in the back on the same level.

Never heard of this restaurant. Was a totally random find without yelp. Was like reliving the 1990's when you didn't care about other's opinions. Restaurant is on the second floor. If you don't want to deal with stairs then park behind the restaurant which is at the same level. Apparently ground floor has a lounge with live music but not when we went for lunch. Comfortable relaxing atmosphere with stellar service. Menu changes with the seasons. We started with their sweet and sour shishito peppers which were delightful. I also went with the "cigarettes and coffee" cocktail which was a rye and amaro drink. If you like Manhattan's you'll enjoy this. My wife had the fennel encrusted pork chop served with a whole mustard sauce. WOW. I probably taste tested 1/3rd her chop because I couldn't get enough. Truly the best pork chop either of us have had. Cooked to perfection with so much flavor. They brine it which kept it so moist. It was served with green beans. I am definitely ordering it next time. Great price too. I went with the salmon which was served with the skin. Super crispy skin yet moist meat. Served with I think was a curry sauce but not 100% sure. Was delicious whatever it was. The fresh corn was tasty but I think broccolini would have been better to sop up the sauce. I'm so glad I took a chance on this restaurant and I cannot wait to return!

We had a really enjoyable experience at Verde Restaurant. The menu is very vegetable-forward with a true farm-to-table feel--everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Every dish we ordered was excellent. We went on a Wednesday night and were pleasantly surprised to find out it was their kids-eat-free night, which made the experience even better for our family. The staff was warm and welcoming, especially with the kids, which we really appreciated. Our server was fantastic--very accommodating, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations that didn't miss. Between the quality of the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere, it was a great night out. We'll definitely be back.

My girls and I came here for dinner and overall had a great time. The hostess was super sweet, gave me water, and even walked me downstairs to take a look at the bar while I waited for the rest of my party. We ordered several dishes that we shared from the menu. Though some of the apps had a unique look, they all were flavorful and very tasty. I especially liked the Crudo, but wish it came with some type of toast. The main dishes were also delicious, so food is 10/10. Loved my cocktail, which was recommended by our server. She was awesome 10/10. The only reason why I removed 2 stars is because they had closed the bar downstairs early at 10:30. The whole reason why we came here to begin with was to have dinner upstairs then make our way down to the bar after dinner. I had called while making the reservations to make sure the bar would be open until 12, as stated on the site. And the person that I talked to assured me it would. So because of this, we all had to find and drive to a new place, which is exactly what we did not want to do. So, besides the bar closing early snafu, I do recommend this place for the service and food.

Onion Spread 10/10 Fantastic appetizer!!!! I liked this so much more than I thought I would. I thought to myself, "I don't like onions, so this will be gross." Boy was I dead wrong lol The creme fraiche was thick and creamy; delightful really. I liked the caramelized onions with the aioli, because it didn't have a strong onion flavor. It had such a nice texture and smooth taste. The chip itself was nice and crunchy, so it created a nice balance with the creamy texture. Okay, I'm done raving about that onion spread lol Smoked Trout 10/10 I love salmon. So, I was very excited for this one! Although, I'm not sure if I have had smoked trout before. This was surprisingly very good. The smoked salmon had a nice flavor. It wasn't overpowering, like I had feared. It gave it a meaty texture and was hearty with the salmon. The romesco purée had a hint of garlic, that I liked. It wasn't strong and paired nicely with the other flavors. The lemon-garlic lebnan added some more flavors with a saltiness. Very good! The phyllo cup gave it a nice crunch. Textures blended nicely together.

Came here for dinner with a party of 8. The place has an upscale vibe and the staff is friendly and accommodating. They were able to do separate checks for our group and you can pay with a QR code which makes it so convenient. I started with a daquiri to drink and got the hanger steak with potatoes and trout. Daquiri- It was a nice, citrusy drink. Portion is smaller than what I'm used to but it was strong. Very refreshing! Trout- Fish is fresh and flaky. It was moist and had a mild flavor. Served with snap peas and a charred lemon that adds a burst of freshness to the dish. Hanger Steak with Potatoes- Meat was cooked to perfection with a smoky char. Smashed potatoes had a lovely crisp. The brocolini added balance to the meatiness. Finished with roasted garlic. Such a filling entree! Great experience overall!

Loved outlet first experience at Verde. The food was so delicious and fresh. We loved how the produce and food is locally sourced. The menu has such a wide variety of options for being a small menu. We cannot wait to come back and loved everything we ordered fully! We had the house baked bread and butter, the cabbage, carrots and steak protein bowl. Each item was a favorite and we didn't love any dish above the others, just equally incredible and enjoyed by us.

Wow I have found a new restaurant that is my new fav. The service and staff are over the top. I took my girlfriend there to celebrate her birthday. We had a three hour dinner that was so delicious. We started with a beet salad yum. I had the hanger steak and she had the salmon. Both were excellent. We ended up with a scrumptious cheesecake. We both will return soon.

Food * Service * Ambiance all 10/10 O came after work on a Sunday and Dat at the bar. Easy to find parking and the restaurant is upstairs. You can sit on the patio, inside seating, and also bar seating. I got the most delicious loaf of fresh bread that I've been dreaming about since the moment I took my first bite!!! Then had their special which was a duck ragu pasta dish and it really was special! Very nice bartender/server and even the manager checked on me. I'm told the same bread is the dough for their flat bread pizzas so that's next on my list!

And the food... the pork belly taco was absolutely mind-blowing. Perfectly balanced, rich without being heavy, and executed with real attention to detail. Instead, I called them and they were able to accommodate that change. Since, Bar Tinto is in WIP, we know that parking here sucks. So come early for parking, luckily they were able to hold our table. This review is for Jonathan Garcia's menu. Kushi oysters were served with a lime mignonette already in the oyster shell. Oysters tasted fresh and good quality. The ribeye vampiro was served on a corn tortilla, with a sheet of cheese, and balanced salsa. I was expecting nice thick chunks of ribeye, but it was a thin crispy slice. I enjoyed the dish, but I was hoping for more. I tried my friend's pork belly taco and it's delicious. The fattiness was decadent. I wish I ordered one for myself. In addition, as a wine bar I would expect a wider variety of wines. They are knowledgeable about the 5 wines on the menu. It's ironic facing a wall of wines, but only able to sip on 5 varietals and some spritz options. However, the desserts were delicious and I recommend saving room for both of them. Unfortunately, I would not return here. The customer service was attentive, but kitchen is slow. If you do decide to come here, then I suggest you practice patience or come here on a date with someone you really like. Also, check their IG for an updated menu, since it probably changes often.

When booking, I had the option of dining , chef's table, or patio seating. I specifically chose the dining since my daughter loves creating content, and the indoor ambiance is absolutely beautiful for photos. The hostess seated us on the patio, and I mentioned that I had selected dining. I was told that seating is based on first availability, which was a little disappointing, especially since the restaurant is right on the water and by 7:30 PM it was getting pretty chilly. While they do have heaters outside, sitting in gusty winds with the smell of gas (especially after a fresh trip to the hairdresser!) just wasn't ideal. My daughter went back to the car to grab a blanket. Thankfully, the hostess noticed my discomfort and came back shortly after saying, "Donna, we have another table further down that's out of the wind and under a heat lamp." That small gesture made a big difference, and honestly, that's when the experience started to turn around. From there, things only got better. When our entrées arrived, our waiter Nick realized we had never received our appetizers. Without hesitation, he assured us he would make it right, and he absolutely did. He brought out a selection of cheeses for us to sample, which led to us ordering a caviar bump paired with champagne (highly recommend!). To top it all off, he surprised my daughter with olive cake and fresh berries to celebrate her birthday. Such a thoughtful touch. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Not just because the food was amazing, but because of the attention to detail and how seriously they take the overall dining experience. Parking is available in a nearby garage, and they validate the first 90 minutes, which is a nice bonus.

I had this place bookmarked on Yelp since November when it was all dressed up for the holidays. The…read morepictures of the interior looked beautiful and the food looked great. Yesterday, I came here for my birthday lunch with my mom after she made a reservation, and honestly, I wish we had just gone somewhere else. We sat down right at our 1:00 reservation and then waited 35 minutes just to get a drink menu. Not food. Not to order. Just the menu for drinks. After we finally ordered, the champagne showed up about 20 minutes later. It was served in wine glasses, which feels like basic wine bar knowledge, but apparently not here. When we asked to switch them to champagne glasses, the waiter brought out smaller wine glasses. Not exactly good etiquette for a place that leans so heavily on its bar concept. The whipped ricotta appetizer came out even later, around the 65 minute mark. As an appetizer. It was fine, probably the best thing we had, but "fine" after that kind of wait is not a positive. From there, everything just dragged. It took almost an hour for my mom's meatballs to come out, and when they did, they were raw. Not slightly underdone. Fully pink in the middle. She sent them back and was so turned off she didn't even want to eat anything else. I ordered a salad and specifically asked for light dressing. What I got was the opposite. It was drenched in a thick, heavy dressing that made the whole thing borderline inedible and the lettuce soggy. After our food, I tried to order drip coffee, which they didn't have, so I settled for an Americano. I asked for warm cream, which I've had done at plenty of places, and somehow it came out clotted. If you know anything about coffee, that shouldn't happen. At this point, we had been there for over two and a half hours. For a salad, an appetizer, and four raw meatballs. The server was very nice and doing his best with being busy. BUT, the overall operation felt completely disorganized and untrained. We weren't the only ones either. The couple next to us was also complaining after waiting 40 minutes just to order breakfast items. To make it even better, parking is only comped for 90 minutes. So because of their slow service, we ended up paying for parking on top of overpriced, underwhelming food. What should have been a 45 minute lunch turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal. The bathroom also wasn't clean either time I went, which pretty much sums up the lack of attention to detail across the board. The only slightly redeeming part was the crème brûlée, which was... fine. Not amazing. Just fine. It's a pretty space. I'll give them that. But that's about where the positives end. The food is not good, the timing is unacceptable, and the whole experience feels like Instagram style over quality and substance. Definitely not worth the money, and not somewhere I'd ever go back to.

This night we came because they were hosting the food pop up "Three Pigs" which offered a variety of yakitori skewers. We ordered one of everything and my favorites were the beef, chicken thigh, and cucumber salad. I'd love to come back and try Semi Tropic's house menu, but if they keep up a steady rotation of cool pop ups like this I think that would be an amazing idea too! Our server was so knowledgeable and ready to help, she made the stay as comfortable as she could, and delivered! The appetizers were phenomenal, we had the shrimp cocktail, the truffle mushroom flat bread, the crab cake, and a baguette, and the real star was truly the truffle mushroom flat bread, which was recommended by our server. For the main entree, pictured is the chili lime rubbed mahi mahi which was absolutely delicious, tender, and all of the flavors married together so wonderfully, I couldn't give it high enough praises. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, the beignets, and a chocolate cake, all of which were so decadent, sweet but not too sweet, and perfect to cap off the dinner. Overall, the ambiance was perfect, great views of the waters, and also, a cozy and intimate place that delivered very well. Valet parking is offered for $12, and that made the ease to get in and out, a whole lot easier. I couldn't recommend this place enough, will be back!

We've come here a few times, although sometimes the way could be long, we've had in general very good service, and the food has always met our expectations. The ambience is beautiful, with the ocean and the sea breeze around you. If you come at night, it could be a little chilly, however, they offer a blankets to keep their customers warm! It is also a spot for celebrating special occasions. They usually have special menus for holidays. I tried a three-course prix fixe dinner with salad (good size), steak, and dessert. It was $70 and I felt it's quite worth the price. Given today's price levels, I think this place is "affordable high-end dining" - where you do spend more than usual, but the food and experience are rewarding. Certainly seafood is one of their specialties, however, we do like their steak and pork. Parking in this area is very difficult. The only option is to park in the Lido garage. The restaurant does validate however, customers sometimes need to ask for it. Our waiter was nice enough to have reminded us about that. Overall a good solid restaurant that usually keeps up their quality and service; and provides a nice dining experience for their customers.
