Perfect place to have tap beer and cocktails main food and of course, dessert. I love outside patio around sunset time. Very quiet and good place to chat

Review for HH Nice little spot in the Quail Hill plaza. I got the smash burger which came with truffle fries and tried both the shrimp plates. The jumbo shrimp cocktail and shrimp gambas. Both delicious. I really love the shrimp gambas which was drenched in a little soupy broth of garlic. All washed down with a pizza port red ale. Enjoy the pics.

Really great local spot for food and drinks in a casual cute and quiet environment. Perfect for friends get togethers or dates.

Visited Bacchus several times now and the food and drinks, as well as the service, are consistently excellent. They have a revamped menu featuring Mexican fare and American favorites (the Wagyu Smash cheeseburger is a must). The service is warm and friendly--they remember you and greet you by name, like a visit from an old friend. The ambiance is casual and relaxed yet still upscale. A true hidden gem.

I came here for the first time about a couple years ago. Met up with some girlfriends for happy hour. I recall there was a decent variety of food and drinks on the happy hour menu. Recently met up with a girlfriend on a Thursday evening and noticed that their happy hour changed significantly. Fewer food and drink items for sure. The bar area was full for the most part and the dining area was empty while we were there. Later on, a couple other diners joined us in the dining area. My favorite appetizer was the shrimp on skewers. The shrimps were a good size and tasted delicious with the sauce. The beef skewers were just ok. The guacamole was nothing out of this world, but tasted fine. Seemed like the two round chips was just not enough. A third one would've been great. Our server was not that friendly and not engaging. It seemed like she was not having a good day and we felt negative vibes from her.

An entirely valid bistro, Bacchus is a local speakeasy-type restaurant that is aiming at the high end of places to drink with friends and first dates. The charcuterie board was an awesome start, with a balance of savory and sweet in the semi-soft to hard cheeses, followed by a variety of cured meats and a small cup of olives, and a little bit of dried fruit. It set the tone properly for a lovely tapas style meal with my Dutch girlfriend. The tuna tartare was fresh, creamy, and had a kiss of jalapeno or some other local hot in it. The crab cakes balance well against the fresh arugula, and the prime skewers were worth their weight in platinum. The off-the-shelf wines were perfectly serviceable, but nothing to write home about. The service was perfectly kind and thoughtful. All that deliciousness comes at a non-trivial price however. Make sure that your gold card has enough space to handle the hit. The price is steep, but appropriate for the level of service provided. It's a perfectly nice place, just off the 405, to meet a first date.

Pulled up with decent parking and even better vibes--off to a solid start. The starters came to slay: artichoke dip, tuna tartare, and chicken lettuce wraps? 10/10, would fight someone for that dip. Then we got to the mains... and that's where the plot fell apart. The smash burger? More like a sad squish burger. Fries were elite though--thin, crispy, living their best life. Tried to redeem it with a chicken Caesar, but that salad ghosted all flavor. Service? Attentive with a capital A. Our server checked in so much I thought he was gonna pull up a chair and join us. Pretty sure he was just bored, but hey, we all need friends. Bonus: there's a secret-looking speakeasy inside that gives off cozy "I read poetry and drink old fashioneds" vibes. Might go back just to live my mysterious alter ego life there. Overall? Cute place, fun ambiance, apps were the main event. Mains? Meh. Prices? You're paying for vibes, not the food. 3.5 stars

Had the best Galentine's evening at Bacchus! The staff were all amazing, the food and drinks were all delicious! It's got such a great vibe, I loved being seated at the round table by the front because we could see the whole space! Me and my gals would definitely come again!

drinks were great! Service was fast and nice. I really liked how classy the environment is here and how sweet our server was. Food was bland. Most likely will just go back for drinks.

Stumbled on to this gem on a gorgeous Sunday, early afternoon. Nestled in a corner, they have a small, intimate outdoor seating area which is dog friendly. How awesome. Also shaded by beautiful palms and a large fountain to lull your cares away. Outstanding service by Eric. Enjoyed some very good wine and heard the next table rave about their breakfast burrito; from brunch menu. Definitely will be back to try the evening menu with my pup!

This cute, little bar is our first choice for happy hour. We love the atmosphere and service. Opens at 4 and happy hour runs until 630 7 days a week. Tuna tartare and truffle fries are our go to appetizers! The deconstructed strawberry cheesecake and panacotta is yummy! We love the servers and bartenders, they are always so attentive (Nicole, Jenny, Paul, Danny and John)! Please come by and support this local business!

Overall: 4.4/5.0 Great tasting food, Nice but casual setting, so-so service. Recommend: Yup, mainly for the food. Return: Certainly can be on my 3-6 months rotation when I want to affordably splurge a bit. Taste: 5/5 Excellent flavors and seasonings Quality: 5/5 Fresh and perfect Value: 4/5 Pretty good for the quality of cooking and sophistication; but, be prepared to spend 200 or so before tips for 3 people with 2 appetizers, 3 main entrees, 4 glasses of wine total and 1 dessert to share. Service: 3/5 "Manager-appearing" guy at door had horrible greeting manners. Unfriendly and appeared to really not care for us when we checked in. Main wait staff woman assigned to us was too preoccupied with private room service. Rest of wait staff were great though, stepping in to make up for the inattentive table service that they weren't really responsible for. X-factor: 5/5 A hidden gem in Irvine, so was lovely to have a short drive to get to the place, which is right in the Quail Hills shopping center area. Also, nice wine by the glass selection for all taste buds and budgets.

I went to Bacchus years ago when it was a wine bar with a tasting room. It was a little stuffy and catered to an older clientele. Now it's been totally refreshed! The menu is brought to you by the chef of Populaire in South Coast Plaza. There is more of an emphasis on craft cocktails (now that the Blind Rabbit team has been brought on). The music is fun 80's new wave. The space now has a cool hipster vibe with a "secret" speakeasy (small, but warm & cozy with a completely different menu and servers in flannel). Some of the items that we ordered were: * Lemongrass x Ginger Chicken Meatballs Butter Lettuce, Cilantro, Mint, Thai Basil, Pickled Cucumber, Nuoc Cham (5/5) * Wagyu Beef Carpaccio Toasted Pinenuts, Pecorino Cheese, Dijon Emulsion, Pea Tendrils - note there's lots of cheese, I think I will ask for no cheese next time (4/5) * Endless Summer Vacation Coconut Campari Fat Washed Vodka, Orange, Strawberry, Lemon, Peach - I thought this cocktail would be too sweet for me, but it well-balanced & refreshing (5/5) * Coffee & Contemplation Cinnamon Orange Infused Vodka, Cold Brew, Cinnamon Syrup (5/5) Service was a little slow since it was so busy, but very friendly and helpful. This new and improved Bacchus was packed on both Friday and Saturday night. Luckily they're situated in a plaza with ample parking (anchored by Albertsons and CVS pharmacy). Can't wait to come back and try out the rest of the food & the cocktail menus!

They have tons of parking in this shopping center. They share it with TONS of other places. One of my BFFs saw this on an Instagram video and wanted to check it out. *They do take reservations When we came in we checked in with one of the waitresses. She said she would seat us in a minute. To be honest, she did forget about us. A waiter walked up to us and asked us what was going on (we were standing there for around 7 - 10 minutes) and we told him we had a reservation for the speakeasy. He immediately apologized and sat us. This camp themed speakeasy has a couple booths. It's on the smaller sides. Which, speakeasy's are usually small to begin with. I did not get the waitresses name, my friend and I were busy catching up. The waitress was nice, but not attentive. I will say service was a 2/5. However, the actual restaurant, cozy pine is located in, was packed because of the World Cup being on TV. So I definitely was not going to complain The food Our food order did come out extremely FAST. Faster than our drink orders. -the campfire guacamole -BBQ shoestring fries (had bbq seasoning all over them so it tasted like a BBQ potato chip) -Glamping plate (charcuterie board) -steak tacos (one without onion and cilantro -churro affogato Again, the food was VERY fast!! And to be honest it wasn't that bad. I'll say, speakeasy's usually shine in the drink department vs food. Drinks -Lycheed and Loaded Ketel One, lychee liqueur, lemon, elderflower. This was extremely delicious! If you don't like to taste your alcohol? Go with this. It was really refreshing. Hand this to me at a spa and I'd be the happiest gal in the world -Camp Anawanna $17 Graham cracker-infused bourbon, licor 43, chocolate, torched marshmallow (the waitress catches the marshmallow on fire at the table) This one was stronger and I didn't think it was overly sweet despite the ingredients I think they had a good selection, especially for a small speakeasy. I have been to better, so I don't think I'd return. Especially since the service was not that great. We still had a good time and recommend for every speakeasy lovers list.

It just made it feel like we were in a high rise building or a blimp with a birds eye view of many of New Yorks beautiful landmarks. The couches were extremely comfortable too. Great cushion. You just sink into them. Its a small area but great utilization of the space, making it seem large and spacious. The chairs too were really comfortable to sit in. We spent 3 hours in there and it flew by so quickly. The ambiance and feel here was just truly top notch. Our waitress was Brandy, or is it Brandi? She was super cool. She was a one person crew. Basically getting orders, making drinks, cleaning tables, and checking in on us. And she did it with great charisma, attitude and personality. Super knowledgeable about the menu. Made great drinks quickly. And was just super personable. Great job from her!! Her attitude and demeanor really matched the top tier aura they were going for here. They have a great selection of drinks. From more alcohol forward drinks to light and fruity drinks to refreshing drinks. I really did enjoy their drink selections. We had a total of about 6 drinks and they were all really good! We got there: 1. Fox's wedding- light, seeet and refreshing. I love the origami piece that Brandy put on it as well. Looked so beauitful. 2. Guava chiffon pancake- it was tropical, light but also had a coconut feel to it. It was really good. 3. The Monroe- this was light but tart, but not too tart. Silky with fruit forward notes. 4. Miso honey butter corn- rarely is a savory cocktail good. But this one was pretty good. The butter fat washed burbon was super intriguing. But it works well 5. When pigs fly- came with a paper airplane on top!! Haha. Love the playfulness. But the drink was so complex yet smooth. It was really good. For the bourbon drinkers, this one is for you! 6. Smoked Old Fashion- presentation is amazing. Comes in a big glass case that has cherry wood smoke inside. When you open it, you get that intense smell of burning cherry wood. Drink is smokey but in a very good way. Tasted amazing. A true classic done right. Their food menu is very encompassing and thorough as well. From full on burgers, to flat breads, to appetizers and small bites, to salads. They have a little of everything!! We ordered the following: 1. Pub nachos- this was an extremely large plate of loaded nachos. Super crunchy and fresh. I loved the generous amount of Chipotle chicken on top. The pepper jack queso sauce and jalapeño crema was a really good sauce. It just binded everything together. The beans and the fresh jalapeño just really all worked together. It was super good. Kept you grazing and munching away, but never becoming too full (more room for their drinks!!). 2. Figgy piggy flat bread- it was ok. Sweet caramel onions and fig jam, paired with some pungent cheeses. I thought it was pretty good. 3. Shrimp street tacos- 1 order comes with 2 tacos. They were good sizes. I love their tacos. So flaverful. Everything works together. Just tasted amazing!! Overall everything about this place is 5 stars. The ambiance, the decor, the exclusivity. The service. The drinks and the food. As i said 3 hours went by so fast!! Definitely a must try when in the area. And when you stay at the Marriott, its just a simple walk back to your room. And we left feeling happy and amazing. Thank you very much Brandy!!

The cooking uses quality ingredients and love and care. I was here on business by myself and was seated immediately and after a quick look at the menu decided on the devil's cut ribeye a steak. It comes with a massive amount of oven, roasted potatoes and green beans. I also got a side salad with it as well which was way too much food for one person. The entire thing was big enough for two normal or maybe even three light eaters. The steak was excellent with a sweet coffee rub with a slightly sweet mapley taste. I could only finish about half and save the rest for the next day. Even though I was full, I decided to try the fried apple pie because it was recommended by many other reviewers. It was actually amazing. It was the dish that was highly recommended by the server and she was not wrong. The ice cream on top was probably House made and the pie itself was like a gourmet version of a hostess apple pie but of course with much higher quality ingredients and it was delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is exciting. It is a fun place to visit with the visual aspects such as the bird cages in the window case. Oak barrels used for aging whiskey are set around and the general vibe was very attractive. Everyone was having a great time and making quite a lot of noise from all the conversation and the music, but people were really enjoying themselves. If you want to have a quiet conversation with someone, this is probably not your place, but if you want a fun time with that kind of vibe, it is an excellent place. I recommend Bosscat highly.
