Hangar 24 is located in a business park so it's right next to a big open campus with grass fields, and a few other businesses like coffee shops. The parking lot is behind a pay gate, but you can get your ticket validated at the brewery. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a variety of table sizes, so it can easily accommodate large groups. We sat outside. The outside seating area sort of has a neat, firepit-type vibe. They have some overhead fans but it was still pretty hot outside (it was a heat wave). I bet it usually feels fine though. Thankfully my drink helped cool me down! I ordered the Coronado Brewing, which is described as superfruit acai cider. I loved it! I'm not a big drinker but I've always loved Angry Orchard cider, so if you're like me, you would probably like the Coronado too. It's a deep red colored cider and can come in a 16 or 20oz. It can get loud here, even outside. I found that my voice was a bit scratchy after I got home from the happy hour with all the loud talking, but that's probably to be expected anywhere you go! read more

Never been here or even heard of this place. My husband's friend had a get together here for his birthday last weekend. Cool place. All outdoors. Live music. U2 and Coldplay cover bands the night we were there. Lots of room to run around for little ones. Tables to sit at but apparently they paid $100 per table just to be able to sit at it; that seems a bit steep to me. I guess the perk of that was that you can order food and/or drinks via the barcode on the table and it'll be brought right out to you (vs standing in a long line at the bar). Came here for the monthly IGDA OC game developers meet up that happens here, which ended up being really great. This place has a very cool and chill vibe. They have an area inside of the building that you can order from and outside, and you can get parking validation from both. Pricing is what is expected from a restaurant, on the mid tier to higher pricing side, and that's particularly expected from Irvine. I ordered a side of the crispy skin on fries which was really tasty! And a larger serving than what I normally expect. I think I wasn't expecting such high quality crispy fries, really, cause I'm used to other places kinda skimping/lowering standards. So I was pleasantly surprised. I would absolutely try their other food items just based off how good the fries were. Got a half pint of the alaskan glacier sour which was right up my alley! Came for Trivia Tuesday with my friends and had an amazing time. Ordered a few drinks and the pretzel bites with cheese, truffle fries, and pickle fries, which were all so good! Managers responded terribly to a situation. As a customer I complained over something which they acknowledged was wrong yet they never apologized or said sorry once. How you address your customer complaints is one of the main jobs of a manager. They could have easily made things right but instead gave poor excuses without being apologetic. Sorry I ever spent money here. There are plenty of other places that know how to provide customer service. We will not be back. Also, don't advertise you have all Sunday ticket games showing on Sundays when you don't (instagram said all locations have all games which is not true). Finally, don't open your doors to the public if all you're going to do is cater to a larger party. The party had their own private screen and at their request you changed the big screen game in the middle of the 2nd quarter (!) to another game they wanted to watch (I guess one private screen was not enough) with absolutely no regard for your other paying guests who came to watch the original game you were showing and were in the middle of watching! The menu was amazing and had all kinds of options available. I ordered the Korean Demilitarization Zone Pork Tacos. 3 decently sized tacos, extremely filling and paired great with my beer. Met up with a few friends at Hangar 24 Craft Brewing while we were in town, and this place was popping! There was a live band, tons of outdoor seating, and such a fun, lively atmosphere. It's also super kid-friendly, there's a basketball half court that the kids loved (even in the heat!), plus a little garden area with a chicken, which was a cute surprise. For food, we got the corn dogs, and they were definitely not your typical mini ones as they are thick, hearty, and wrapped in bacon. The corn batter was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which made them really satisfying. Service is quick and the staff are very helpful with recommendations. Showing up at this location may seem like you're at a large corporate building. There's a structure and parking lot, and you can have your parking validated at the brewery. Hanger 24 is well known for their Orange Wheat, but they have a bunch of other beer too like their Betty IPA, and Chocolate Bomber stout that they've been serving up for over a decade. I would highly recommend any burger here. The Buffalo wings were good, nice sized wings with plenty of meat; however, these were pretty dry and needed a lot more sauce. They also only gave me one ranch for all of these wings. I would recommend the wings if you get a dry rub like lemon pepper. Such a cool outdoor area for a brewery. I've only been to the main Hangar 24 in the Inland Empire many, many years ago, but this was my first time at their newer location in Irvine. It actually may not be that new, but new to me! What's funny is that I used to work in the building that it's behind. It was Washington Mutual. I did notice they removed the beautiful sculpture that used to be in the area, but it's still lovely. They do have happy hour and what I was impressed with was, they have cocktails too! Meaning not just beer, hard alcohol and wine too. Parking is easy, but it's paid parking. I went for a work event so parking was validated for us, so not sure how much it is. So we packed it up and chose a few tables outside to enjoy the live music and let the kids run around. They had lots of kid friendly food options, juice boxes, and a variety of options for adults. The huge grassy area was perfect to run our group of feral boys around to tire them out before bed. My kiddo loved the cheese pizza and it's a pretty decently sized flatbread style. The chicken strips and fries is similarly a big portion. I enjoyed the Caesar salad. The food tasted fresh and came out fast. You have to pay to park in the nearby lot, but they validate parking so it's not a problem. I came here fairly late one night to meet up with some coworkers, so I didnt get to try their food menu. Other than that I didnt get to see much of the venue, but it looks like a nice, spacious outdoor place to spend a summer night with some friends. I recently tried their All-American Smash Burger and it was disappointing. On a positive note, Hangar 24 is great for families because they have a lot of open space outdoors for the kiddos to run around. There's a good amount of parking too and they validate.
