They also have a full bar so you can order cocktails and shots as well. I will take off a star because the food is decent, ordered the smash burger and carne asada fries. Burger was good but nothing to write home about, came with fries. Such a cool outdoor area for a brewery. I've only been to the main Hangar 24 in the Inland Empire many, many years ago, but this was my first time at their newer location in Irvine. It actually may not be that new, but new to me! What's funny is that I used to work in the building that it's behind. It was Washington Mutual. I did notice they removed the beautiful sculpture that used to be in the area, but it's still lovely. They do have happy hour and what I was impressed with was, they have cocktails too! Meaning not just beer, hard alcohol and wine too. Parking is easy, but it's paid parking. I went for a work event so parking was validated for us, so not sure how much it is. Met up with a few friends at Hangar 24 Craft Brewing while we were in town, and this place was popping! There was a live band, tons of outdoor seating, and such a fun, lively atmosphere. It's also super kid-friendly, there's a basketball half court that the kids loved (even in the heat!), plus a little garden area with a chicken, which was a cute surprise. For food, we got the corn dogs, and they were definitely not your typical mini ones as they are thick, hearty, and wrapped in bacon. The corn batter was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which made them really satisfying. Service is quick and the staff are very helpful with recommendations. Showing up at this location may seem like you're at a large corporate building. There's a structure and parking lot, and you can have your parking validated at the brewery. There's also a small number of 1 hour parking spots outside of the paid parking lot. Beer here is just fine. Hanger 24 is well known for their Orange Wheat, but they have a bunch of other beer too like their Betty IPA, and Chocolate Bomber stout that they've been serving up for over a decade. It was our first time at this brewery. We brought some rice rolls from home because i knew our kids would not eat the food there. Once we were there, one of the servers told us that outside food was not allowed so we made sure to put the food away in the cooler we brought. We also have infants in the group who requires milk that needs to be refrigerated. However, another server came up to us 20 minutes later to let us know that outside food was not allowed. At this point, the rice rolls were already put away. He had us open our cooler to inspect it. And then he goes on to lecture us about the policy once again. Now i'm annoyed because the food was already put away so why the hell are you telling me to put it away again! We just spent 800 to 1k buying multiple rounds of $40 cocktails at your facility and you are going to gives us a hard time about a plate of rice rolls that was already put away?! I definitely will not be coming back here again. I would highly recommend any burger here. The Buffalo wings were good, nice sized wings with plenty of meat; however, these were pretty dry and needed a lot more sauce. They also only gave me one ranch for all of these wings. I would recommend the wings if you get a dry rub like lemon pepper. There is a great variety of drinks here, but they only sell two seltzer options. The beers and margaritas are great here. The preschool moms wanted to grab some food, get the kids together after the science fair, and relax. So we packed it up and chose a few tables outside to enjoy the live music and let the kids run around. They had lots of kid friendly food options, juice boxes, and a variety of options for adults. The huge grassy area was perfect to run our group of feral boys around to tire them out before bed. My kiddo loved the cheese pizza and it's a pretty decently sized flatbread style. The chicken strips and fries is similarly a big portion. I enjoyed the Caesar salad. The food tasted fresh and came out fast. This review is LONG overdue. We held a joint birthday party at Hangar back in Feb and had a great experience! Shannon was great to work with. She was very responsive via email and phone leading up to the event. On the day of the event, there was a slight hiccup but Shannon made it right. Ryan was our designated server and was the absolute best! He was very helpful during setup and kept up with all the drink orders during the event. Even though he was constantly running back and forth to bring out drink orders, he always seemed to be around to assist and take more orders. It's hard to find great service these days so I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered catering through the venue and the food was a hit with all the guests, especially the white choc macadamia cookies! We were impressed with the spicy fish sandwich as compared to the picture. It looked so much bigger, such a large piece of fish. So it will definitely work it next to what the wagu Smashburger and not tasted just as good. And with the fried clam chowder, fish and fries, it was definitely good. But I think it was just a tad bit salty, a little too much salt on it, not sure. If that's just how it's normally made, or we just ended up with maybe a pinch or 2 more salt on our order. Outside of that, it was a pretty interesting when we saw it, and that's why we tried it out. Inside hangar 24 definitely a lot of different food options inside toy, really nice food court. This place is kind of hidden between couple of corporate looking buildings in the downtown Irvine area, so you may not know it's there if you're not looking for it. You have to pay to park in the nearby lot, but they validate parking so it's not a problem. I came here fairly late one night to meet up with some coworkers, so I didnt get to try their food menu. I had the double IPA on tap that night which was pretty good. Other than that I didnt get to see much of the venue, but it looks like a nice, spacious outdoor place to spend a summer night with some friends. Each of the 4 of us ordered via the qr code on the table. we got there about 7:30 and left 9:40. we had great conversations but, that's not why we stayed so long. It took us soooooo long for us to receive our food! There was about 20 minutes between each of us receiving our individual orders. My bowl looked pretty sparse. I dug around and learned that there was no rice in my rice bowl. I asked a server about my missing rice and she said she'd give me a side of rice. perfect. She then returns to tell me that they actually ran out of rice. I was flabbergasted. They ran out of rice and didn't even think to TELL me and give me an option of ordering something else before i waited 40 minutes for my food?! She offered fries or bread but, i only wanted rice. They were kind enough to refund my money. I ended up giving the food to my friend because the chicken wasn't good anyway. The photo shows it as grilled teriyaki chicken. It looked more like boiled chicken and it didn't taste good. Flamebroiler has a better chicken bowl. It was well over an hour before our 4th person got his food. And then it was another 5-10 minutes til he got his rootbeer float. The Arnold Palmer was unsweetened and tart and not ice cold. I did like the sweet potato fries that my friend ordered. Inside could use a bigger dancing space in front of the band. The beers are good as well as the onion rings. Ranch is top notch. The flat bread was also decent/good. There is free parking with validation and free refills on the ice tea for your DD. A pint of beer was $9.50 and then there was a "special" 20 ounce for $13.50... it seemed the same size, but even if not, the value for the smaller glass is much better. Definitely just get the pint.
