Green Cheek in Costa Mesa is a lovely brewery that serves amazing food. It's located behind the busy area of The Camp in Costa Mesa. They have a small parking area, but it was difficult finding a spot around there in general. The service is pretty good. When I asked for recommendations, the person taking my order did a great job sharing some of their preferences. I ordered the 12 piece wings for $12. The lemon pepper flavor was solid. It came with ranch and ketchup, which really elevated the experience with different flavors from every bite. I also tried the $14 Buffalo chicken sandwich. The size was good and it came with a delicious side of fries. However, in terms of protein, I think I prefer the chicken wings. I loved how family and pet friendly this place was. They have plenty of indoor seating and an outdoor area filled with long tables. Water, napkins, and some utensils are self serve. Overall, Green Cheek offers affordable and delicious food. It's a perfect hang-out spot and is now my go-to for chicken wings.

Had my birthday party here and loved it! The vibe throughout the day was electric. Hosted @ 3pm on a Saturday so seating wasn't too full. We waited for a few people to finish their drinks and food and were able to grab a big table as soon as they left. Great for events/get together. Their food was amazing, everyone was very happy with their orders. Drinks were tasty. I'm glad they have lots of options, wine options too! Would go back again!

We came here on Valentine's Day and had such a great time overall! arking was absolutely atrocious (especially on a holiday), but once we got inside, everything was worth it. The space is very spacious. They have outdoor seating with patio heaters. the drinks were yummy. I'm not a beer person but the paloma and flying south were good. it was very affordable and the best way to end the night.

Been to this place a few times and finally getting around to reviewing it. If you are looking for a good pint and eats with a chill vibe, this is it in Costa Mesa. You'll walk in and be greeted by a friendly staff. Check out their menu and options, walk up, order, and get your buzzer. Head on out to the patio area, where there are plenty of seats. If you want to stay indoors, there are areas for that as well. Great place to catch up with friends and vibe out. Food: Love the tater tots here. Burger is great too. Hard to go wrong when you have a good pint to wash it down. Pineapple slushie marg is pretty darn good. I would recommend that on a hot day. Parking is a bit tricky here, so heads up on that. They do have a lot, but most likely, you'll do street parking and venture over. It's best anyway because it'll force you to walk off your food and booze. Swing on in for a delicious bite and pint. It's a good time here.

The food is really good here. Usually brewery food is not that great but the smash burger and turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich was worth it. They always have guest beers and really great beers on tap. I ordered a N/A beer since I took a month off drinking which was awesome they offered that. Service may take some time cause it's always packed. Definitely one of the best breweries around OC

Came here after visiting a nearby speakeasy and the drinks here were a great way to end the night. I'm not big on beers (which is crazy to say since this is a brewery), but I really enjoyed the seltzers here -- they were super cheap, $5-7. I tried and loved the Pierre's Paloma seltzer (16 oz), which was big but nice size! It was sweet and easy to drink. The Lavy Lemonade was delicious too. How it works: You order at the counter and you can keep the tab open if you'd like. Since I just got one drink, the service was very fast. There were a lot of tables when I went on a Saturday night (both inside and outside). I'd come back to get the Paloma again and even try the food.

How did I not know about this place earlier? The vibe here is awesome: chill, fun, spacious with indoor and outdoor seatings. Drinks were good (love my refreshing pineapple slushie magarita) and reasonably priced. Did not expect much from brewery food but it was surprisingly decent. I'd love to come back to try their popular burgers and tater tots. Staff was helpful and friendly. Aside from their small parking lot, you can find street parkings, or park at The Camp right next door. Highly recommend!

Happened upon Green Cheek Beer Co. while in the area with a group of friends. We wished we had found this place earlier in our evening as we would have loved to stay longer. The huge outdoor seating area was lively and allowed for groups to mingle together while sharing the long picnic tables. The variety of beer they offer met the needs of everyone on our party! Then the food was fantastic, which isn't always the case at other breweries we have tried. I'm mad at myself for not snapping a photo of all of our food we ordered before everyone started eating so all I got was the German Pretzel photo. Aside from our pints, we had a German Pretzel with yummy cheese sauce, perfectly cooked. Not crunchy or dry but soft and easy to pull apart to share. An order of Cheeky Style Tots, my #1 favorite. The perfect amount of cheese sauce, grilled onions and bacon bits in every mouthful. Lastly a few of us shared the Cajun Chicken Sandwich. Large juicy chicken breast, nicely seasoned with fresh ingredients on a soft roll was so satisfying as well. I love a place that takes pride in not only the beer they brew but the food they offer to accompany it. This place was fun, memorable and I plan to visit again with friends.

Truely the best brewery I've been to in Orange County. They have such amazing food, great indoor and outdoor space, and a fun selection of beers & seltzers along with wine also ! The burger, the tots & pretzel are 12/10. If you like smash burgers this is it. Tots are super crispy and perfect. Pretzel is huge and perfect for sharing or not haha. Comes with cheese and mustard. We love coming here and being able to bring our dogs, friends kids and everyone inbetween. They have a huge long tables outdoor that are great for large parties. Literally a Costa Mesa gem!

Green Cheek Beer Co. is a great beer garden and an easy go-to in Costa Mesa. The outdoor seating is massive, which makes it perfect for families and groups of friends. It's comfortable, lively, and easy to hang out without feeling cramped. I had a stout that was excellent, and the food really stood out for a beer garden. The burger and tater tots were both very good, and the menu overall feels higher quality than what you usually get in this setting. There are also TVs inside for games, which is a nice bonus if you want to catch something while you're there. A solid spot with great beer, good food, and a setup that works for a lot of different occasions.

Green Cheek Beer Co. has got to be my finance & I's favorite brewery (we've tried a lot all over NorCal, Central Valley, and SoCal)! The lavender lemonade & paloma seltzers are our go-to's because they're light, refreshing, and not too bloating - also can't beat the price $6/16 oz glass or $14 for a 4-pack! The smashburger is a MUST! Best brewery food we've ever tried because the double patty melts in your mouth and bun is soft, airy like a brioche bun. I think it would compliment well with pickles but that's just a personal preference. There's a nice outdoor area with shading. The ambience is casual and family/pet-friendly! Staff was super nice & helpful in making recommendations.

Good service, plenty of seating outdoors. Food was served in a quick manner and fresh; quite yummy :) Will be returning in the future

The texture was good juicy enough, cooked properly yet the flavor didn't quite punch the way you expect from a brewery burger. It needed more salt, maybe a stronger sear, maybe even a blend with a bit more fat to bring depth. Right now, it tastes safe. And a place known for bold craft beer shouldn't serve a safe burger. The cheese and toppings carried more personality than the beef did. Every bite had balance, but not enough edge. A sharper cheddar, a house-made sauce with some acidity, or even a slightly more aggressive seasoning profile would elevate it from "good" to "I'm coming back for this." That said, it's not a bad burger. It's dependable. It just hasn't stepped fully into its potential. In a brewery setting where flavor is the brand, the cheeseburger should taste like it belongs next to a flagship IPA not like it's auditioning for it. Room for improvement? Definitely. My friend had to go shopping and so we decided to grab a bite to eat at kenwoods. From the outside, the windows are so darkly tinted. I couldn't tell if they were open or not. Server came up to us, asked us for drinks and handed us menus. He came back shortly after we gave him the order. I had a chicken Caesar salad and a space dust double IPA, my friend just had a cup of coffee. The chicken Caesar was really good, and the beer was as expected. The first cup of coffee that he brought to the table was cold so we had to send that back to get a fresh cup. Now it wasn't that busy so I would think that the server would take a moment to check to see that the coffee was warm, but apparently that didn't happen. I got my food and started digging in and the coffee came out a few minutes later. The salad was good, had a nice size chicken breast on top and the dressing was really tasty, not overpowering. I was a little bit stunned at the bill when it came to the table and it was $35 plus dollars, I guess the food and grocery hikes still surprise me, although they shouldn't. The dining experience was okay, it wasn't stellar by any means, but it was adequate, I didn't felt neglected or rushed in any way. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the coffee incident. Having been a server in the food industry. That's definitely one of the things you look for.
