I love this Golden Road Brewery location. I love how large the space, perfect outdoor area during nice weather, and it's very family and kids friendly. The servers are super friendly too. Food and drinks are excellent. We got a fried chicken sandwich and pizza, and the portion size is pretty good. Tasted delicious. Their parking lot is small for such a large space, but there's plenty of street parking as well.
Great service! Great view of the Angels stadium. I got the Oktoberfest fest beer which was okay. GET THE blackened chicken sandwich- it's the best thing they have! Ricky is the best server
We had our daughter's first birthday at Golden Road, and I could not be happier with our experience! A baby's first birthday at a brewery might sound unconventional, but honestly, it was PERFECT! We worked with Kirsten Aparicio, the Pub Manager, who was wonderful from start to finish. We originally planned to have our group of 35 outside near the kids' area, but when the forecast showed temperatures around 100 degrees, I reached out just a few days beforehand to see if we could move inside. Kirsten didn't hesitate and made it happen! When I arrived, our area was already roped off and ready for us, even though the brewery was packed with sports fans. She also thoughtfully set up a lower table for the kids to play and do activities. It was such a nice touch and made the space perfect for our group. Our dedicated server, Chris, was OUTSTANDING. Multiple guests commented on how wonderful and attentive he was. He stayed on top of everything, paid attention to every detail, and truly helped make the party run smoothly. Thank you, Chris! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the catering menu had plenty of options, and the drinks were great. I would absolutely recommend Golden Road for a birthday party or special event. I'm so glad we chose it for our baby girl's first birthday. Kirsten and Chris truly helped make the day special!
TLDR: It's a good brewery with a good beer selection, and an amazing place to relax before watching the game. I know restaurants need to make money, but it would be 5 stars if the food were just a bit more affordable. Blackened Chicken w/ Tater Tots: I would've really enjoyed this if I just had a higher tolerance for black pepper. The chicken patty was of good size, the buns were buttered and toasted, the aioli was nice, and adding $2 for tater tots isn't that bad of an idea. My main gripe is why does a chicken sandwich cost north of $20? I feel that this would've been a very satisfying pub item at $18 max. Mango Cart: It's the brewery's creation, and it's one of my favorite items that they make. Personally, I don't really drink enough to have a favorite beer/IPA, but I feel that Mango Cart is come of the few drinks that I can trust to enjoy, regardless if I have it here or elsewhere. Service: Pretty straightforward. Order, enjoy, then pay. Ambiance: Beautiful outdoor seating across Angel's Stadium. It's an amazing place for familes, and for people in general to spent a few hours (and dollars) in.
One of the best breweries around! Great beer, good food, and always such a fun atmosphere. Definitely still one of my favorite spots.
Food: Prices going up, variety and quality going down. -Fried avocado tacos, underwhelming. Needed acid or tang for some flavor, the corn and bean didn't do it. The avocado was not crispy Spicy Clucker, the chicken heading had an off taste, like a bad buttermilk drench. The sauce, supposed to be sirracha was more like a buffalo. The slaw had no flavor or texture. The pickles were ok. We've been coming on and off for lunch for years, menu used to be seasonal and inventive. Now it's like +1 sports bar food. I miss the Chile Burger, French Onion Patty Melt, and fish tacos when they were good. Also don't appreciate that our server didn't ask what size beer and brought out a large (up-charged). I left 1/3 in the glass since I was driving.
This place is really big. It's obviously designed to handle crowds for events across the street at the stadium. A big plus for me is they are open for lunch every day and midweek it's pretty quiet. Golden Road isn't the best beer around especially the canned stuff that is widely available. The beer brewed just for this location runs the range from mediocre to very good. Food is the kind of pub grub you'd expect. It's a little pricier than other breweries. The bartenders were very helpful. I'd never come here when a game is on but really like it in the quiet times.
Extremely disappointed with our last visit to Golden Road. We were here about an hour before the USA versus Belgium soccer game started. At the time when we got there, we were the only people outside and there was plenty of staff standing around just talking to each other other. It took so long for someone to notice that we were trying to get their attention and then when Lainey came over, she was so rude, unprofessional and sour. We tried to ask for a suggestion about which table outside would be better for shade and she rudely said we should go inside because it's "literally 90°". Let it be known that the actual temperature was 78° and actually beautiful. We just were asking about the shade. From then on she never wanted to give us the time of day, never once smiled, and would rudely tell people she would come to them when she could, even though she was just standing around talking. On top of that the pretzel was old and stale, even though I have had many good pretzels from here. This experience really tainted our view and love of Golden Road. We have actively avoided coming here, even though we live down the street because it was such a bad experience with server, Lainey. And this was not the first time we have had a server like this if you look at my previous review.
What an amazing place to come to with your family and toddler! This place is huge with so much seating inside and outside! They also have water stations all around, a corn hole area, a toddler play area and two bar areas located outside. There is a parking lot onsite which is nice! We came when they opened so it was nice to sit outside! We brought a blanket for our toddler to play while we were sitting and it was perfect! For food we got the kids grilled cheese with curly fries, pretzel with mustard and cheese and chili cheese fries and all of it was delicious! They have QR codes on the tables to see the beer menu and food menu! All the employees were friendly, helpful and attentive! We didn't like the hot sauce brand they had so we asked for jalapeños and that was yummy on the chili cheese fries! We will definitely be coming back!

While in Anaheim visiting the Happiest Place on Earth (allegedly), we drove past Golden Road Brewing and knew we had to go. We drove back after unpacking. The brewery is very impressive size wise, especially for the location. When you walk in, they have merchandise on the right side. We bought a pint glass and beer to go. Food We came for the beer, but the food menu looked really good as well. We got the sliders kids meal for our kids and the fish and chips for us. The fish was crispy and not at all soggy. The fries were also good. For drinks, I went with a beer flight, which is one of the greatest inventions ever in my opinion. I went with the Hazy IPA, Tropical Hazy IPA, Mango Cart, and the Raspberry sour. The Hazy and Sour were my favorites of the bunch. 5/5 Service There were quite a few staff working. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They answered our questions and the food arrived fast. 5/5 Ambiance There was an awesome outside area out back. There were three bars with six TVs. There is so much seating and games as well. Such a fun spot in a big city. 5/5 Highly recommend checking out Golden Road if you are in town for Disney. You will have earned a drink or five from surviving that.

We came in before an Angel game as I'm sure most people do but it wasn't busy. We were greeted pretty quickly, got our drinks fast and asked for a food menu cause we wanted a good app before going into the stadium. We ordered the poke nachos and we were glad we did. They were light, just the right amount of food for a hot day. The service though, while it was fast, my boyfriend and I didn't feel super welcomed. It was more on the slow side and the beertender almost seemed annoyed that we were there. Maybe he was having an off day, I'm not too sure. Hopefully if we go back someone else will be working.

Lots of nice outdoor seats and games! Order beer inside at bar but then server came around to tables for food order which was interesting as then they also took next beer order. For some reason this created an issue closing our tab. We enjoyed the atmosphere and beer was good! read more
Golden Road Brewing has a perfect West Coast summer vibe! We came to eat and drink right before an Angels game. Although the place was packed, the venue is so massive that we were still able to find a free table. I enjoyed my steak street tacos (4 out of 5); it was very good but not great. My favorite beers I sampled were the trippel and the Pacific blonde (both 5 out of 5, excellent craft beers). Outside, they had a pop-up counter with someone grilling smash burgers. I got to try a few bites of my husband's smash burger, and it was absolutely delicious, covered in grilled onions, cheese, and mustard. I wish I had gotten that instead. We also came with our son. This place is super kid-friendly, with tons of children enjoying the wide outdoor space. My only criticism is the parking situation. Since so many people were using the small parking lots for the Angels game AND the brewery, it took us about 20 minutes to find a parking spot. I'm sure this isn't an issue on non-Angel game days, but if you are coming before a game, plan accordingly. read more

I love the selection of beer on tap, staff is super friendly as well. Kris helped us out at the bar and was super knowledgeable of the different beers/their flavor profiles. Went with the Point the Way IPA since that sounded like the move and man... it totally was :3 I'm not a sports fan, but if you are in the area, Golden Road is a great place to sit with friends and watch the game!! It's also literally across the street from Angel Stadium so it is popping with fans inside on game day which honestly adds to the vibe. The jumbo pretzel and beer cheese is 1000/10. Bury me with it. Good prices too. Can't wait to come back :) Also, parking close by during peak hours is the only tricky thing, but honestly kinda a common issue for the area and not GR's fault. Let me tell you what. I really enjoyed the 10 Hop Hazy IPA. Smooth, juicy, and dangerously easy to put down. But beyond the ambiance, service with a customer focus is what really puts this place over the edge. Enter Nicole and Jess. These two pour an absolutely phenomenal beer. Ice cold, perfect amount of head, and -- most importantly -- they never let that thang get empty. I don't know if it's elite situational awareness, years of professional training, or if they can just sense when a man is getting thirsty, but every time I looked down, somehow I was taken care of. At one point I genuinely forgot what an empty glass looked like. And then came the Plot Twist. Just when I thought I'd had enough, Nicole and Jess convinced me I could handle a little more. Turns out they were right. I'm not sure if Plot Twist is the name of the beer or an accurate description of how my afternoon got away from me, but either way, no regrets. The 10 Hop Hazy had me questioning how many hops are actually necessary. Plot Twist had me questioning my decision-making. Nicole and Jess had me questioning why every bar can't operate at this level. Great vibes. Great beer. Elite head-to-beer ratio. Relentless attention to hydration. Stay thirsty, my friends read more

In short, great place with lots of good and drink options, but it can get packed out during events at the stadium. My +1 and I took our Little to Monster Jam at the Angels Stadium and found ourselves with a couple of hours before the main show. Since we had already parked at the stadium, we decided to walk here since it was right across the street, unfortunately for us, a whole lot of other people had the same idea. There was a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, but there were even more people, and what seemed like a mad rush to try and find open spots. It was all self - seating, with waiters running around their areas trying to make sense of it all. We circled around along with a lot of other people, and we happened upon a family that was leaving soon, and asked if we wanted their table. Score! We kept it simple and ordered burgers and fries for all of us, and beers for the adults. The food was decent, and surprisingly came out pretty quickly I have to say, despite the chaotic background, our servers were fairly up to speed. I had to take one point off because I felt like it could've been organized much better, instead of the battle Royale to try and find a place to sit. Nevertheless, we are grateful for the food and drink, and may come back when it's a little less busy. read more

Good food, good service, nice selection of beers and dog and children friendly, can't ask for more! This space is huge. It's perfect for big groups. A lot of indoor and outdoor places. We sat outside because the weather was beautiful. We didn't know that the portions were huge and we orders the veggie pizza, sheet nachos and a kids slider. It was a lot of food but everything was so good! And we tried the lager and the seltzer. Both were so good!! The parking area can get bus but you can also find street parking!! read more
Second time at Golden Road was still good but not as great as the first. The space is still fun and lively but the food and service didn't hit like before. My fam all went both times and all said this time the food wasn't as good- I agreed. Also they brought one dish out way before the rest so that plate got cold. And the service was really slow, we had to keep getting up to go to the bar to get stuff because we were waiting for so long for napkins, refills, anything. We still had a great time but had higher expectations because of our previous visit. read more
This is a great place to meet and grab some beers! The food is great too especially during their happy hour! They have a good cripsy tuna rice and my favorite beer is the Mango Mas! The service is good. It's a seat yourself situation and the waiters will approach you after some time. The place is open and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. There's always a sports game they're playing on the TV. The ambiance is loud and lively. There's 2 parking lots, but they get filled fast. there's street parking available as well! read more

Me first time here ....killing pre concert time waiting for a nearby Duran Duran concert at Honda Center. Very large and spacious inside & out. Great outdoor patios. Had an IPA and a Lzger plus chicken nuggets and fried; all tasty and filling. Quick service. Yes, I'd definitely return. I miss the nearby Hooters that was around hrre for several years near Angels Stadium. read more

Tried this Brewery last night. We came around 6 pm so the parking wasn't bad. There's other parking around the area so you'll be able to find a spot. There was a large selection of IPAs and Beers. We also tried the Chicken nachos and the poke nachos which were decent bar food. Service was fantastic Everyone was very nice. Servers were constantly walking around and checking in. Inside was super spacious so will definitely come back with a bigger group! read more

There is a private lot but during peak hours, it fills up. Street parking is also available but, again, peak hours will get you circling if you don't plan accordingly. Carpool if you can.

Yep. People bring their dogs all the time to the outside portion

They are friendly about these items. Go for it!

Yes, definitely kid friendly. I brought my 1.5 year old recently. Sit outside, there's plenty of space for a little one to run around there!
