I've been coming here for years, mostly because it's conveniently located close to work. It's become one of my go-to spots for celebrating coworkers' birthdays or just stopping by for happy hour during the week. They have a great happy hour, and they also have Taco Tuesday deals. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays as well. I haven't tried brunch here yet, but it's definitely something I'd like to try one day. The atmosphere during happy hour is pretty chill. They always have music playing, and they also have trivia nights. Some nights they have DJs playing, and the music is always great. The place has always been clean whenever I've visited. There's street parking right in front, plus a parking structure nearby, which makes it convenient. Steven and Kelly are awesome! They always make yummy drinks and have always been super nice and welcoming. Great drinks, good atmosphere, and plenty of reasons to come back. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

As expected, I went out and had another amazing time at The District Lounge! Despite the World Cup going on, Steven was quick and efficient with my drinks. When I was empty, he gave me "the look" and I gave him "the look" right back that said I needed another one. And when I decided it was time to play some pool, I got the stick and cue ball and got to playing. When there was a tiny issue with the table, Jackie was there to support! It's so anazingt to be able to receive 10/10 service at the bar and in the rest of the bar when it's needed. Then when the DJ came out, I expected service to decline but it was just as good. These guys are working hard the entire time they're behind the bar or on the floor. Steven and Jackie definitely stepped it up in their service; either pouring me drinks or taking my empties and watching over us patrons. I had to call them out twice because I kept seeing them all night, so I also had to ask their names! With the music going and the games on the TVs, sipping a beer or six, there's no better place to be on a Thursday night! read more

Justyn was incredibly helpful in organizing everything beforehand and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We had a party of 30 people, which can easily get chaotic, but everything went perfectly. Originally we planned to sit on the patio, and they had it ready for us. Because of the unexpected winds, they also prepared an indoor space just in case--and thankfully they did, because the wind ended up being too strong. The transition inside was seamless and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff during the event were amazing. Alison made sure there was never an empty glass during bottomless, the food came out quickly and smoothly even with such a large group, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. The food itself was great American brunch classics, and for bottomless they brought multiple juice options and had the table set up with bottles, juices, and water evenly distributed so everything felt organized and easy. What I appreciated most was that I never once had to worry about my guests. I was able to actually enjoy my birthday brunch instead of managing things, which meant a lot. After brunch our party continued into the afternoon with pool and drinks, and that transition was just as smooth. The vibes were so good that honestly none of us wanted to leave. They were also kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge and even brought it out with the candles lit for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Absolutely no complaints. A true hidden gem! I came to The District Lounge for bottomless mimosas with the girls and honestly had such a wonderful time. It was packed so the general manager Justyn helped up set up tables outside which made us feel extremely welcomed. Our server even gave us face stickers! You can tell they genuinely care about their guests- positive energy and service all around. This spot is also so cute for date nights. It's cozy and fun. They even even have a pool table and a photo booth for five dollars. They also offer different events on different nights, so the place always feels new and exciting! Also, their bottomless mimosa deal is SO worth it. If you purchase an entrée, you could get bottomless mimosa for a deal. Chef Carlos is also incredible- honestly I'm not the biggest taco/nacho fan but these were fire. Parking is always easy since they're nearby structure is around a two minute walk. The place also stays open until 2AM even on Weekdays!! Its hard to find that, especially in Irvine. And with Friendsgiving coming up, this is great place to bring your group and hangout. We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday at Wednesday Trivia Night and we had the BEST time! It's in a group quiz-esque style and they had the funniest category I had ever seen: naked celebrity heads where you're trying to guess the celebrity simply based on the top half of their bald head . They also have a photo booth and a bomb happy hour. Their decor is also definitely...memorable If you go, be sure to ask for Nicole as your server. She helped to ensure that our special occasion celebration was extra special and we cannot thank her enough. My friend and I LOVE coming down to District for Taco Tuesday! These margs were SO good and only $8! You can also get a taco for as low as $1.50 which is such a great deal especially for college students. I also highly recommend Trivia Nights on Wednesdays. I brought a group of 4 of my friends the other week and had so much fun! We ended up getting 2nd place! It starts at 7pm, it's free and they have food available to order! They must be in a trance/sleeper cell state of hating to see people dance and have fun because they have achieved that low bar every time I've step foot into this establishment. Truly all the DJ's that come here have to be the biggest fans of the first part of the movie Footloose because they love to see people not dance. The music they play is the most odd mixture of no name rap, hip hop. Don't get me wrong I love both R&B and hip hop but whoever is in charge of the playlist needs to know me getting up singing NSYNC-Dirty Pop with pasties on would be better. You can tell by how many people that aren't dancing as well that the feeling is unanimous that dud after dud is coming on over the speakers. On the night of Friday, May 22 into the early morning of May 23 my fiancé was refused entry into the district lounge bar due to her ID being from out of state even though she had been to multiple bars in the area the taller strawberry blonde bouncer was extremely rude to her when trying to explain that the ID is real she told us that we need to settle down and wait to verify if the ID is real or not even though we had multiple people explained to her that we are a military family that just moved here she was extremely rude, the manager went back to his office and eventually, came back and told us that yes it was verified as a real ID and even after she continued to be rude. and I would recommend getting her retrained or terminated from the business. to write these wrongs in the future, we would recommend that management take scanners and put them at the front door to stop any rude employees from falsely claiming fake ID. read more

However I went into the women's bathroom with 3 of my friends and the lady in charge of the bathroom GRABBED and I do not say that lightly, grabbed 2 of my friends saying they couldn't come in with us. We were put on the list and got called 2 hours after. He was super disrespectful to my friend that was singing A song like he was promised. an honest review about this place is that they act like they are in high school i will be honest and say i had a family member who had an altercation here back around super bowl that had nothing to do with me but them and i understand not wanting that person there but i was not part of the altercation so i went here again without them. I came back with a friend not thinking their was a problem i waited in line even got in with bouncer having no problem with me or my associate we bought drinks and tipped, we danced not even ten minutes later we are kicked out with the manger telling us he will have us arrested? i was not wasted or causing any issues later having a friend of the manger taking to me and my associate saying their was no real reason to kick out this night. They told us we were 86 but we were let in the bar and bought drinks??? make it make sense i was not told before hand i was 86 i understand about the altercation but if so then i shouldn't have been let into the bar and give them my business and to be told i should have u arrested is so extreme bc that happened months ago again i was not part of the altercation. what could've the cops have done that night i was not doing anything wrong if they felt so strongly about the altercation months ago okay but don't let me come in and buy drinks. the manger used his little position of power to make such a strong statement and i 100% believe there has been ppl who have cause problems before and have gotten back in its a college bar like be so serious. they definitely take themselves way to serous im no threat whatsoever im a regular person like what harm could've i cause at this establishment? at the end of the day it was no way to conduct business the manger could've talk to us like a real man and explained himself i could understand but he used his position of power the only power he has to be rude i don't tolerate. flashing his flashlight at us like if we were a nuisance to the establishment i would never conduct myself in that matter. completely uncalled for and might i add my associated was also there on super bowl and had nothing to do with the altercation as well and came recently was not kicked out but this night we were??? again if it was such a big deal we should have not been let in and spent money. my main issue is if we were 86 don't let us in point blank instead they did and made us look like idiots being kicked out such a disgusting way to handle business stand on it if u really feel some type of way from the beginning.
